They make the homemade pasta on premise. First you pick your cup size 16oz, 24oz or 32 oz. we choose 24 oz Med. There were about 5 pastas to choose from. We went with the spaghetti type. They then drop it for 6 minutes to cook. You choose sauce several to choose from. We chose bolognese. We also went with combo. You get a breadstick and drink. Very filling and delicious for under 9 bucks! Will come again!

Yes, the address should have given it away, but I didn't realize this was an eatery in the mall's food court. Pasta is cooked fresh when you order and sauce was good, but it is in the food court of the mall. Worked well for us as it was a rainy day and we could stroll the mall for exercise, but nothing special about the food.

This place is good. Tastes great, they dont skimp on the sauce and the sauce isnt watered down unlike other Italian mall food like Sbarro. For the price you get alot here. Im glad theres finally a good italian food place here.

They have some amazing choices for both pasta types and sauces. The amount of it you get will definitely fill you up and leave you satisfied after lunch. They let you sample each of the types of sauces but my absolute favorite is their signature cup pasta. Every bite is creamy bacony goodness. The service is absolutely wonderful so take time to talk to the owners as they are boiling up your pasta fresh.

I am absolutely obsessed with this place. If I know I'm coming to the mall I will purposely not eat before hand so that I can get some delicious pasta here! The pasta is made FRESH in store. I actually watched them make it today and it's fascinating. The little Italian family that owns this place and works there is fabulous. They are so sweet and helpful... And quite proud of what they have! All the sauces are great. The vodka sauce is my favorite!! Love!

This is amazing pasta, homemade, everything from scratch! My wife and I were so surprised how delicious it was to be located inside the Oviedo mall food court. We definitely recommend it to everyone.

I only give this place a 4 because I'm not a big pasta fan. My wife swears by this place, though. Last time we were here I had the gnocchi in the bolognese sauce. Everything is made fresh which is awesome! This place is family run and the staff are very friendly! Of all the restaurants in the Oviedo mall to visit, this place is definitely a must try!

Wow, the owner is so friendly and nice! He let us try all the sauces and very excited about his business in general. I love a person who enjoys what he does! Fresh made pasta in about 5 minutes! Yoo hoo! I especially like their bolognese sauce. It has meat and vegs and not just tomato sauce, salted perfectly. The pasta is done al dente. Perfect texture in your mouth. They also toast their breadsticks too. You should definitely give this mall food a try.

I love CupPasta! Friendly staff and great food! I only wish they would get some diced chicken and other meats (besides meatballs) to put in their pasta!

Very affordable and authentic Italian FRESHLY made assortment of pastas with 7 homemade sauces to choose. Desserts are yummy chocolate mousse, cannoli and tiramisu. Fountain drinks by Coke. 3 cup sizes to choose. All very affordable and they offer freshly grated cheese and breadsticks, too. Get the meal deal with bread and drink. Sit in the food court, people watch and eat freshly made pasta!

Top notch place if you are looking for 1st class hospitality and the best "cup" of pasta in the U.S. I have had 3 different types of pasta and they were the best I have tasted. The concept is awesome, made to order and fast.

Surprisingly good! Stopped by on 9/20/14 on a whim and it was really really good! We tried 2 sauces, the cup pasta sauce and another sauce with sausage and mushrooms. Both were tasty but I prefer the latter. Pasta is freshly made and you get to choose from 5-6 different shapes. Highly recommend. Best of luck to you Cup Pasta!

I was intrigued by the reviews of this place and the fact that it was in a mall food court. Being the fan of any authentic Italian-serving restaurant I had to try it out! The place has a nice, modern feel to it. The menu is fairly simple to follow: choose a size of your bowl, type of pasta shape, and sauce. Panini's and desserts are also available. The staff was very friendly, though the line was a bit of a cluster. They give you a card with you order on it so the cashier knows what you ordered, but it wasn't clear if you had to pay before or after your cup was given to you...and the weren't serving cups in the order they were ordered...so there wasn't a flow. I asked of the pasta was made on site, and they said yes, every day. There were 7 different pasta shapes and 7 sauces to choose from. I had the Mama Rossa pasta in a medium cup and bolognese sauce. (Whenever I go somewhere new...I always have to try the basic items first...it's my litmus test I guess.) I was fairly disappointed with the bolognese. It was very runny with giant chunks of tomato and onion...and two small pieces of meat. The bolognese I'm used to everywhere else is smooth and full of meat. I tasted the vodka and broccolini sauces...which I found tastier than mine. I'll have to come back next time I'm there to see a movie at the Regal so I can try other things, but won't be going out of my way to come here.

FANTASTIC! Both the pasta/sauces and the staff! We're not close by but like others, we make it a habit to visit now. Huge portions, we always bring some home. Excellent pasta and the sauces are amazing! Meatballs were very good, too! You can't believe how good this food court food is. Please don't pass it up. Make a point to stop in, you won't regret it. After reading the rave reviews, we had to check it out. We've been back several times now. Worthy of taking the time to post a review for sure. The staff are SUPER friendly. Everything made right there fresh in front of you. My favorite sauce is the Broccolini. YUM! We were even inquiring about a franchise! We love it this much! Keep up the GREAT work. See you soon!

This review is of the one at the Seminole Towne Center Mall: Wow! This place is so delicious!! The workers are super friendly and the portions are massive! I went just because I had a groupon but will definitely be going back! The vodka sauce is my personal favorite, it tastes so fresh.

The girl behind the counter didn't smile once, she obviously didn't want to be at work. The menu shows these beautiful deserts. What you actually get is a three bite cup of smashed up cake. Pasta isn't hard to make. We definitely won't be back.

This place is amazing!! I can't say enough good things about it! At first I was thinking pasta in a cup? How good can it really be... Well believe me it's one of the best pasta places in Orlando! I lived in Sicily for 2 years and I know good pasta! The pasta is made fresh and cooked when you order. My favorite sauce is the Vodka sauce. Its about time Orlando offered something this good!

Boy! was this not what I was expecting. I was expecting a pimply-highschool kid wearing a spotted apron pulling out water-logged pasta from a hot table and ladling some greasy mess on top. What I experienced was completely opposite. First, the employees were men and they and all the surfaces were spotless. Secondly, the home-made pasta is not soaking in water; instead, it is resting comfortably uncooked in baskets in full view for the customers to see. Thirdly, the sauces look delicious. I had the Bolognese- Fabulous! When ordering, you're offered three sizes. I ordered the medium for $5.95. As I saw them prepare it, I questioned myself whether or not it would be enough. After eating two-thirds of my pasta I realized it was plenty for lunch. CupPasta also offers a meal deal that includes bread and a fountain drink. They also sell deserts. My ONLY complaint is that they don't serve wine. A glass of wine would have gone perfectly with the Bolognese sauce.

I tried this place not sure what I was expecting, but I was surprised by the quality food that was presented to me, especially since this is a spot in a food court! The food prep area is entirely visible, and they cook your pasta to order right when you put it in. They make all the pasta in house and the sauces as well. I had the pasta that looks like a little squid - ferroulini? I have no idea. I got that and the pesto and topped it with Parmesan. It was delicious. The medium size is perfect for a meal. At $6, you can't beat it. The manager even came out and refilled our drinks for us, took away garbage, etc - and this is a mall so that was completely unexpected but awesome. Totally went above and beyond - thanks Ricardo! William was extremely nice as well. Very good staff. Next time I will try the tomato sauce with gnocchi. My one problem with this place is that they make the staff say, specifically, "how can I SERVE you today?" - I heard it with every person coming through the line. That kind of overbearing corporate language rubs me the wrong way and just makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable. It's just not needed in a funky little upstart place like this and upsets the vibe. A "how can I help you?" Or "what can I get for you?" Would feel much better in an otherwise casual environment. It's not really all that important but it just feels demeaning to the employee. Bottom line? Try it. There are three vegetarian sauce options and everything is great. We had a group of 7 and everyone loved their cup pastas!

Hands down amazing customer service! You can sample all the pasta sauces before choosing one. They'll mix them together for you. Everything is made fresh daily. They'll go above and beyond for you, making sure you're satisfied.

I'm obsessed with this place. It's quick (for cooking fresh pasta) and delicious. I love me some pasta, and not once has Cuppasta failed to deliver. I frequent at the Sanford Seminole Towne Center Location, and I always have friendly service. I've been to the Oviedo location a few times and had equally as delicious food (plus if you have a big purse its always fun to throw it in before a movie... but you didn't hear it from me). The price is cheap for the amount of food you get, a large is HUGE and lasts me a long time. Probably my favorite Food Court stop. I only go to the mall sometimes to just get pasta. Sad but true.

The owner was very nice and easy to talk to. absolutely fantastic food and everything is made from scratch. I would recommend this over quite a few italian restaurants I have eaten at. over all one of the best pasta places I have ever eaten at!

Amazing! I have already filled a punch rewards card, and I know I will fill many more! The pasta and sauces are always cooked perfectly, and I eat here more than I probably should because it's a good amount of food for the money! My favorite ever food court stop!

Delicious, convenient, and quick, without sacrificing quality or taste. The owners are super friendly and generous with suggestions, they even made sure to add extra sauce when they found out I was taking it home. It is truly authentic family recipes. The owners have only been in the country two or three years. This is now my go-to craving spot for pasta, and I love that I can sample two or three with my family without breaking the bank. Never thought I'd love a mall food court restaurant so much. Btw, (SHH!), the small size fits well in a large purse in case you get low blood sugar while watching a movie at the theater upstairs. ;-)

This place is amazing. Antonio is always full of energy and ready to help you pick a sauce that makes your tastebuds go ziiiing. Love the service. Love the food. Right now there's a groupon that also makes it an amazing value! We've been here twice. I love the cuppasta sauce and the vodka and the broccolini and my guy loves the pesto. I can't wait to try them all.

I have eatten there many times. Super fresh, inexpensive, the vodka sause is fantastic, the cup a past sauce is my daughters favorite. It is healthy, yummy and great for the whole family. Love them!

Just tried the Gnocchi with Presto sauce. Yummy. Lady behind the counter told me that when they make the presto it's intended to go with the Gnocchi. That's how they eat it at home. I love also how they have the nutritional info of all their food so making a healthy and smart choice is easy.

The business owner was one of the chipperest guys I've talked to he was so enthusiastic about his business and pasta. It's great to see that, the pasta was amazing. By far best mall food I have ever had.

  • Lauren H.

This is the best pasta I have ever had. I come out of my way to get it, even if I don't need anything at the mall. The prices are fair and every sauce I've tried has been spectacular!

Great food from the homemade pastas and sauces. The sandwiches are better than any subway one you could get. Everything is reasonably priced and great service.

Just a quick update. I'm in love with CupPasta! The piccolo is just the right amount at lunchtime. I add the CupPasta sauce and make it meal with a drink/breadstick. You've got to stop by and taste the variety of amazing pastas and sauces!

The pasta and sauces they offer are incredible. Forget about comparing this to standard mall food court food. The pasta I've had here is better than most full service Italian restaurants I've been to. Its worth visiting the Oviedo mall just to stop in for a bowl of pasta with the bolognese sauce.

Love this place! So happy to finally have a new place to eat in the Oviedo mall. Everyone here is super nice, the homemade pasta is incredible, and the sauces are so good! I also ordered a chocolate crepe thing for dessert, which they made right in front of me, and oh my gosh it was delicious! I highly recommend this as one the few yummy places to eat in this food court!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
