My family and I eat here a lot and we have always enjoyed it. Service has always been good and I think the prices are reasonable. The menu has something for everyone, even picky eaters. Highly recommended!

My husband and I have eaten here at least twice a month (twice a week the first few months they were open) and have experienced varying levels of service and quality. Unfortunately, we had to stop going on our lunch break because it used to take 45 minutes to get us in and out at the hibachi table and now takes over an hour. I tried the regular dining room once and you get half the food for the same price of hibachi and it was cold and flavorless. The reason I am writing this review is because of our most recent experience. We had a party of 9 go there for my birthday last weekend. We ordered hibachi dinners, several appetizers and drinks. We thought my meal would be free, but it was not because their policy is 2 days before or after the birthday. We were there three days after. What bothered me is that we eat there all the time and are recognized by most of the cooks. Combined we spent easily $250. When my sister complained to the manager, he pretended he didn't understand English. And the food wasn't that good!! The rice was flavorless and crunchy and the steak was aged and not in a good way. From now on, my money will go to Yamato. Their birthday policy is the week of the birthday, by the way.

Really great experience. Went with a group, and enjoyed the hibachi experience and food. Talented cooks. Tofu grill option! Would certainly go back. See also my tip. We had a wide variety of appetizers, sushi, as well as hibachi items.

This isn't the best I've eaten. Their teppanyaki chicken always taste salty. Service is ok.

I would warn about the king crab rolls...although the price and waitress indicate these a r e real king crab...the pieces à re so small that you can't discern them fish or mystery meat. The other rolls, like the bagel roll, and are executed with precision. You might feel lonely sitting at the bar but the sushi chefs are nice. The Japanese owners or their representatives don't seem to like to speak to customers or make you feel welcome like at Kotobuki, Ahi Sushi, Dragon, or Ichiban in Gainesville.

Great ginger salads. Unfortunately they hardly ever have a greeter at the door so you have to wait a long time to get seated or to even put a to go order in.

Went in for dinner with my husband on Friday night , where do I start? The service was bad the chef got half my order wrong , and didn't get our food all together it's like he waited for us to eat one item at a time normally when they start cooking you get all of it somewhat together , they weren't even that busy !! Won't go back for a long time if at all !!

We have visited Grace Japanese steak house a few times. The ambiance is really nice and the servers are really on top of their game. Their seaweed salad is awesome! It's one of the reasons I keep coming back. They also serve warm edamame which is really nice. I hate it when restaurants are too lazy to heat the edamame. They also have a great lunch menu- served until around 7pm. Prices are especially good for the lunch menu. I've had the shrimp and scallops (awesome) and hubby has had the beef teriyaki. No disappointments so far.

We had terrible service and rarely saw the waiter. Refills of water or tea were nonexistent. The food arrived and we thought it was for the wrong table because the orders were mixed up and we received items that we did not order and failed to receive what we did order. The food was overcooked and bland. We will not be returning.

Recently visit this place, business doing much better than last year they just open so busy on Wednesday ,the hibachi chef was so fun,the food was so tasty,the sashimi was so fresh .thank you grace ,Will come back soon!

We were disappointed. Expensive for what you are given and the service was horrible. Not as good as local competitors. Food lacked flavor and everything was an up charge. Server was a young male who seemed to forget everything. Slow on refills but quick to deliver the check!

It is just OK Their sushi place on SW 200 is MUCH better Maybe it is the size of the place or that they are trying to do too many things in one place - like a Federal Gov't program, that means a lot of compromise as one size fits all means it doesn't fit anyone - the same here. They need to decide what they want to be and go forward It isn't BAD, it just isn't that good, especially compared to their other location

Recent health inspection shows an at risk rating for management certificates, employee training verification. Critical violation for outer openings protected from insects & rodents. I usually don't venture into a relatively new restaurant until they've dotted all their i's and crossed all their t's. But I ran into the problem I sometimes do. Going out on too many errands without eating. It was 3:45 and thought I could run in for a quick bento box. Unfortunate for me, lunch ends promptly at 3:30 and then rolls over to their "sunset meals" where the bento boxes are raised $2. FYI, on the dinner menu the same bento box is raised an additional $4. So be aware before you enter of the time. Instead, I opted for the Udon Tempura w/salad. They do not offer a vegetable tempura but they substituted vegs. instead of the 3 shrimp for me. The "salad" was anything but. It comprised of the ends and insides of the lettuce w/no leafs at all. On top were a few pieces of cucumber and that's it. The ginger was not fresh and there was water all in the bottom of my bowl. I asked for a separate plate and poured out what I could of the water but there was still a lot in the bottom. A definate F on the salad. The Udon Tempura was large and filled w/an unusually large amount of broccoli, zuccini & raw onion. The veg. tempura served on the side w/sauce contained 6 pieces of vegs. B+ For the entree. The server was polite and VERY familiar w/the menu. Another problem I had was trying to fend off 2 pesky flies while I was eating. Not very enjoyable. On the way out I checked out the sushi bar. I asked the person behind the counter a question about the food, but he was too busy on the phone and answered me w/a quick yes and turned his back on me to continue his conversation. Big no-no! I might come back one day in the future to check out the sushi, but for now, there are many other Japanese Rests. to choose from should I feel the need.

Way overpriced. Tempura was greasy. Soba noodles were served on a plate. Forgot my drink , never got it. Presentation was nice, but the overall quality of the food just wasn't very good

This place has serious issues. C'mon man, a Japanese restaurant with no Japanese chefs? The food was grossly over priced, grossly over cooked, and border line gross. Not going back.....ever.

We made a reservation for ten people and our table was ready within five min of us arriving. We sat at the grill table and although our server wasn't Japanese he did a GREAT job...sushi was good..the place was clean..food was yummy and we had a great time!!
