AL and his team at Brick City Catering did a wonderful job on the catering for an event we were at this weekend. I was most impressed with his professionalism and the amount of time he spent making sure everything was working out perfectly. The food is much better than your average fare and not what you would expect from a catered event. These guys also did a wedding for one of our friends earlier this year and I was impressed with their presentation at that event. They do not run a restaurant and only handle catered weddings and events.

Was very disappointed to hear that Brick City Catering was anything but professional regarding a recent client considering how much they value their reputation in the Ocala, The Villages area. The BCC may ultimately be fine for small and/or casual events but are completely inflexible and not open to constructive criticism to improve their catering experience and meet the needs of those paying handsomely for their services. I suppose you should enter a contract with BCC acknowledging that this has become their event and no longer yours. I wish them the best as their stubbornness will tarnish their otherwise positive reputation.

THIS COMPANY TOLD US THAT THEY WOUD NOT CATER OUR WEDDING FOUR DAYS BEFORE IT!! At first, the owner and his wife seemed like very nice people and the food we had at the taste testing was wonderful. They said whatever we would like they would make happen. We were very confident with them. My husband and I had gone to a wedding a week before ours that they were catering. Their servers were disgusting looking. The buffet was set up and they were serving the mashed potatoes with an ice cream scooper and the food was cold I had called Al and to express my concerns and also asked if we could invite the servers to a salon to have their hair put up neatly (that we would pay for of course) the morning of our wedding. He was HIGHLY offended and started screaming at me over the phone. He said that the fact that I said that was insulting and he knew based off of that, that he would not be able to make me happy for the wedding so he wasn't doing it! I started crying over the phone and asked him to please reconsider and he would not. Al mentioned several times that he made over $180,000 a month, and he never needs to beg for work. One of the last things he said to me was, "your weddings not going to make me a millionaire, so I'm not doing it!" The amount of stress that he put on my family and myself four days before our wedding was in humane. He kept our deposit as well. These people are dirty thieves!

Worst caterer I have worked with EVER. After they ran out of food, and after 3 requests for food one of their servers had the nerve to scrape together some rice and tell me I was Vegan for the night. Unprofessional and rude.

Brick City Catering did an over the top job on a recent event I attended and I was very impressed not only on the freshness and quality of the food served but the overall presentation and attention to details were impeccable. They did a great job of serving everyone in a quick and courteous manner even though they had been rushed due to a scheduling mistake by the wedding planners. I noticed the head chef Al taking it upon himself to make sure the guests were taken care of things and evidently it worked well because I heard quite a few of them making comments on how well they were being treated even though the waitstaff had to move quickly. Just wanted to say that they did an awesome job and I would feel comfortable in recommending them to anyone who needs a catering service in the Ocala area.
