The sushi was mediocre, I was disappointed. The restaurant itself is what if expect from a small town sushi place, but it does have a decent bar. What was most disappointing was the house fried rice. The rice was actually burned. I won't be going back.

Excellent customer service. Good to talk with regarding special orders or needs. We ate there 4 times now. Tried several different items . Combo dinners or lunches are awesome deal. Great taste. Food preparation has been great. We've tried also other various items since they also offer Sushi and vegetarian sushi. Love the pricing. Get much more for you're family. Also. Military Discount added bonus. You're not going to go wrong here when you can order a complete combo dinner for 8.00 each includes a Egg Rolls and Fried rice. We will be definitely keep going back!

I've been here twice and had good experiences both times. The menu offers more than just sushi, and everything they do, they do well. The wait staff was nice and because there are Japanese people making your food, it feels that much more authentic. I feel like the prices are a bit steep, but I think that's because I'm used to cheap sushi in California. The vibe is casual and clean and I'll be back soon for my raw fish fix.

Best take-out around! I have not had the pleasure of dinning in, but my husband and I keep running back for their delicious food! We are major fans of their egg rolls and general Taos chicken.

Pretty damn good sushi. Very fresh. Enormous portions. Menu of non-sushi items is huge. Staff was very attentive and professional. Red Ginger's sushi is very "American-Style" (with tons of sauces and toppings), so if you are into that sort of thing, then this is a great place for you.

Descent sushi, they have chinese food also in their menu. They have a good happy hour if you dine in. I wish their menu explained ALL their sushi besides their specialty rolls. No gluten free menu available, and the staff isn't familiar with food allergies so just be weary. Service was quick but their interaction with us wasn't all that friendly. I'd still come back for food though.

They have a great Happy hour from 2-7PM that includes Buy-1,Get 1 on beer & 3 Signature Sushis for like $27. It was a TON of food for 2 and came out to a great price. This is going to be my new go-to for Friday after work! Loved it!!!

Everything was bad..from the rubbery won ton soup to the smokey/gas flavor of the fried rice. This place was awful!! They admitted to making large batches and deep freezing a lot of stuff. Stop by Publix and buy a stir-fry mix and you will surpass their level of culinary expertice.

The food is served fresh, hot and it's delicious. This was best cheese wonton I believe I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The service is friendly, the place clean and how can you beat the BOGO beer between 3-7pm? All in all a nice place.

Currently a co-worker and I are working on trying all the items on their sushi menu. Thus far everything is been really good. the current favorite is the blue water bay. We've also tried the lunch boxes, noodles and fried rice. The prices are reasonable and food comes out in a timely manner. The waitstaff is very friendly, a little hard to understand at times, but since they are friendly it doesn't matter.

Red Ginger is my first preference when it comes to eating locally in Niceville. My family and I have been coming here for 4 years now and never disappointed. Have to try the Rock Shrimp sushi. Always going to be a loyal customer.

This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. First visit to this place resulted with satisfaction with the meals however the customer service was horrible. The only time we ever saw our waitress was when she had to bring something to the table. We decided to give it another try today because although the service was not up to par, the food was good and we have yet to find another sushi place to try in the area. Our second trip was not any better. Not only did our waitress only come to our table when she needed to bring something but she seemed to just want to take an order, serve us and give us the check. Which I guess is quite funny because that's exactly what she did. We ordered, received our drinks and food and before we could order some more sake and sushi she returned with a check in hand. I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you want horrible service. Maybe next time I want sushi from this place I will just order to go. Actually, I probably won't be returning to this place ever again.

Fantastic food and abundant menu selections. Great sushi bar but limited seating. The place does tend to get a little noisy but it is a smaller restaurant. The service is hit or miss like other reviews say, but if you need something just ask. The pricing is highly reasonable and the restaurant can get crowded on certain week nights - we can pick up to go orders within ten minutes of ordering so that is not an issue. Military discount - 10%

Gracious - friendly - good food. I have eaten here literally dozens of times. I travel for work all over the USA and have the luxury of eating in most major cities - this compares and is better than many. The sashimi is ridiculously fresh - the presentation is beautiful. The staff are friendly. The owners are charming. Im truly surprised by the negative reviews I have read. I love this place :)

Lets first start off by saying I feel like I am cheating on Alan at Osaka's but I really wanted sushi and really didn't feel like driving over the bridge so I figured I'd give this new place a shot... I was not disappointed the place was very cozy your typical Asian themed decor but the staff we had was very friendly, keep in mind I was in on sushi quest. What I didn't find on the menus they were willing to make whatever I wanted, the wonton soup was amazing the only trouble I had was a slight language barrier but I was dinning at an Asian restaurant and would expect it to be as authentic as possible. I would recommend it and I will definitely be going back "sorry Alan" Very reasonably priced: remember it's sushi ,you pay for what you get

Best place around. Glad they are opening another one. Clean. Polite. Quick. Very tasty. I've not found anything they serve that I didn't agree with. It's very hard to find good sashimi. But this joint does it well. Good luck in the new endeavour.

Ordered the hibachi steak and scallops: The scallops were good, but the vegetables were extremely salty. They did not bring the steak with my meal and I had to ask about it before they served it up separate. The steak itself was not bad, but nothing out of the ordinary. They also forgot my miso soup and salad. An issue that was not addressed until the very end of the meal. I was told the waitress was new, but they didn't offer a discount, a free appetizer the next time I showed up, or anything to make up for it. She was really good about refilling drinks though. All in all, I was pretty disappointed. I may come back in the future to try their sushi out.

We ordered the szechuan chicken, shrimp with broccoli, and hot and sour soup. The soup was very bland, neither hot or sour. It actually tasted more salty than anything else. The main courses seemed to have been drenched in the same bad tasting brown sauce. It seems the sauce was very heavy with Chinese 5 spice seasoning. The szechuan chicken had no spiciness whatsoever. It was difficult to tell the difference between the two main courses we ordered. This was our first visit to Red Ginger and do not recommend their Chinese food at all.

Not really ever impressed with the sushi here. My husband and I go just to get a fix bc there are no sushi places closer. Most recent visit, waitress spilled soy sauce all over my husband's crotch. Kinda difficult to sit thru dinner with soy drenched pants. Even more difficult to wash out the stain. No free roll, no discount, no manager apology. Needless to say, not returning.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
