If you read my reviews, I specialize in Asian food. I was in Navarre Beach with some some friends and decided to give this place a try. So placed an order to go and picked it up just before they closed on 8:30. Ordering was a challenge as the person taking the order was having problem understanding me. However I consider that a good sign! Ordered four things. Panang curry, drunkin noodle, beef pad see wu, and combination noodle dish. Food wasn't the best Thai I had but good. Portions however were enormous!!! Panang curry came in a quart size soup container and was actually pretty good. Noodle dishes were pack to the top!! This is what I consider Thai food!!! 5 stars for value for sure. 4 stars for food taste and quality. I'm definitely coming back to this place.

This is the best Thai that I've had anywhere. The Masaman curry is amazing. We've never had a bad dish here. The only negative is that they close early. If you aren't in before 8:30pm, you will have to get it to go.

Avoid the appetizers ( tea dumpling ) but try the main dishes! The parang curry with shrimp was a balanced curry with plenty of vegetables and shrimp. Also the pad see ew was seasoned with the right amount of sauce and palm sugar for sweetness. I appreciated how the wider noodles were used. I prefer this place to Thailands Best. It would be great if lunch specials were offered on the weekends. I noticed that the restaurant was pretty busy in the evenings and it was difficult for the staff to keep the place clean (floors, tables).

Had the cashew chicken, it was good but nothing to brag about. Average Thai food.

We've been here a couple of times. We are never disappointed by the food. We have eaten in and taken out. When eating in we always have good service. Sometimes when they are busy it's kind of slow but worth waiting for.

Great food especially the spring rolls and sweet & sour chicken. The wife had Thai chicken salad...freshly made. I will recommend this restaurant. ..local favorite. We are on vacation. Great lunch special and price.

This place is a definite hit or miss! Tonight it was a big MISS! :( I live nearby and being a military family, we get a chance to sample many different types of cuisine including different Thai restaurants around the country. I ordered the Tom Kha Gai and Shrimp Pad Thai and it was WAY to greasy and the soup (Tom Kha Gai) was way too rich...I wish I could have finished it since it my favorite Thai dish but my stomach became very nauseated and upset. I have a very sensitive palette and stomach. I can tell the difference if one person cooked it or another person did. I could tell this meal was not cooked by the same chef as the first time:( it's not a bad place just be careful with what you order and don't be afraid to speak up if something doesn't taste right:) this is how restaurants stay in business or get out of business...it's by the customer..:) this place has much potential to be amazing!:)

I'll admit, I've been spoiled by the amazing Thai food in Seattle. This place comes nowhere near good Thai food. Huge disappointment. The three times I've gone with my husband I've had the worst stomach cramps and have had to leave early. The spice system is off as well. I'm usually 3/5 or 2/4 depending on the restaurant, and it's always way too mild here. I'll be on the lookout for good Thai food, because you certainly won't find it here!

Everytime I move I search some great tasting wonton soup . I find it here! The spring rolls are really good, I really luv the Thai chicken fried rice it's so good, reminds me of a place back home.

Went 3 years ago and was not impressed. Somebody told me that they had changed owners/management, so I figured I would give it another try. So glad I did! The pad Thai and Thai fried rice were excellent. I have been back several times and haven't been disappointed yet. The staff is very friendly and the food is delish! This is my new favorite Thai restaurant.

FINALLY ! We needed an Asian food restaurant so badly here! There are several, but none have authentic, decent food. All seem to be the typical buffet flavor, rubbery, msg coated mystery food. THAI HUT is authentic, fresh, really really good food. The prices are fabulous, good service, really nice family owned. The atmosphere isn't the best, but it doesn't matter one bit, the food makes up for it! Update, We've been going here for a while now, and it's still pretty good, but quality has been slipping. Hopefully it will go up again. On 2 occasions, I ordered for takeout, and when I arrived back home w/ the meal, it wasn't what I ordered. Check your food order before you leave.

They JUST took over the old "Kracker Jax" restaurant in the strip mall on April 20, 2009 The only dish I had was Pad Thai and it turned out to be some of the best I 've ever had. I'm from Californa, so I've tried lots of that recipe. Also, the Thai Iced Tea was perfect. And, the service was above average, with the nice family who own & run the joint. This is the second of 2 "Thai Hut" restaurants that are in the area which they have opened. The other one is located on Racetrack Rd in Ft Walton Beach, FL. They didn't make any major remodeling changes with the inside, it's more-or-less the same as it was with the previous owner. It has a beach-flavored atmosphere. Navarre needed this place and I'm sure they'll stay busy just by word of mouth. Lunch specials are all $ 6.50

The food is hit or miss flavor-wise but not worth the price and hassle. The only reason I have continued to eat there is due to the Upromise dining rewards program for my son's college account. The service is terrible for takeout orders. I have yet to wait less than 30 minutes, which would not normally be a problem since I call ahead but every time I come after 35-40 minutes and they tell me its going to be another 5, 10 or 15 minutes, which is unacceptable. I have addressed this with the staff on several occasions, telling them to just give me an accurate estimate but it has never been fixed. After dealing with the same issue yet again today, I will not be buying food from this restaurant again, given the plethora of other Thai (and other Asian food) choices in the area.

Family of seven ate great. Good options for kid, and some of the best tom yum soup I have ever had. The inside is not very updated, but the delicious food moe than makes up for the out of date decorations. Drunken Noodles were great. Portions were huge.

We have been going here twice a week for 6 months. It is great! Lunch prices are super reasonable. Everything comes out fresh and HOT! Top three suggestions are chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and garlic chicken.

I am sitting here going on 30 minutes on a single To Go order. Single as in I am a single person with a single order of basil chicken. The place is not busy at all. I live in Navarre and this is the second time I have tried here. I gave them a chance, I really did. I have to say, 1 star is earned. So sad because I love Thai food but please, be smart. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Ordered take out tonight and it was delicious! We ordered green curry, red curry and pad Thai, all with chicken and all extra spicy and with fried rice! Very flavorful and delicious! The girls working there were very nice as well :) My only complaints are that they don't have a brown rice option, the curry is more of a thin, watery consistency and they don't have fortune cookies!

Great thai place. I love the wonton soup (lots of veggies in it!). Daughter loves the satay appetizer. Husband gets the pad thai with chicken. One day I'll get wild and crazy and try something new, but for now, we're happy with our usual items. Staff is nice and gets order correct. No complaints. We're glad we gave them a try... we are repeat customers.

Can't go wrong with the curry! Waitress is always friendly and my friend and I split the meal and the service great - they even bring us each a rice. We've been going there for a year or so and they Def know how to keep their regulars happy.

iCame here while on vacation in Destin, FL w some friends last week. The Thai Hut is a small little restaurant w hardwood floors and bunched up tables that serves some really great pad Thai! The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is bc what I ordered deserved negative stars. Ok, maybe that was a little harsh, but IMHO it tasted nothing close to what the waitress hyped it up to be. I ordered the Thai Beef Salad on the recommendation of the waitress who said it's a really popular salad and the beef is really tender and tasty. When it came out, it looked like someone took a head of lettuce, chopped it into 4 huge pieces, threw some onions and sour cucumbers on it, sprinkled it w lime juice and scraped some really overly cooked beef on top. I thought it might taste better than it looked... But I was wrong! My friend got the same thing and was disappointed as well.. She was expecting something totally different and described a Thai place back home in Louisiana that made Thai beef salad the right way! Anyways, the Thai beef salad was a miss.. So I tried another friend's beef pad Thai... ... #AmazeBalls!!! ... That one bite was so good that I ordered a plate of beef pad Thai for myself and killed that!! Another friend ordered the seafood curry and it was ok. Nothing special. If you ever visit the Thai hut, make sure u order the beef or chicken pad Thai! You cannot miss w either! The service was really good! Our waitress was pleasant and checked on our table regularly. The only issue I had was w how terrible that salad was! And how good she made it sound... But wutever, I guess we know now. If ur ever in the Navarre/Destin area and in need of a pad Thai fix, I would recommend this place.

I visited thai hut after the phone host told me she didn't understand what i was trying to order. Well I politely told her i apologize for speaking english and that perhaps she can understand me face to face. When i arrived i ordered from the to go menu and waited patiently for a thai tea...which i will say was very very good. I was not happy to make it all the way home to find out that my specific request for no onions was ignored. My dish was also plain while i had asked for spicy. Thank goodness my wife enjoyed her meal or i would have been in trouble...ha! Needless to say i wont be returning anytime soon. You can catch me at thai 54!! They too make a great thai tea and are more attentive to special requests

I am hovering between 4-5 stars, but we were so tired when we ordered and picked our food up after a long day of travel that I honestly can't remember all the names of the items we ordered (but I do have a food pic!). I do remember how yummy it was (and we've had mediocre Thai before, so I wouldn't lie). It was our first restaurant stop on our vacation and I remember everything was fresh and flavorful and we really loved the pineapple fried rice in addition to the panang!

They don't serve any vegetarian food. Went in today and they said everything is cooked with fish oil and can't make vegetarian food!!! Really

Fast, easy and fresh!!! The red curry was the best I've ever had. Spring rolls were fresh and the food was just incredible collectively. I will drive all the way up here to come again. Wow

Horrible service, waited an hour and still didn't get food. We did get charged for drinks. No customer service what so ever.

The spring rolls are so delicious. We had Masaman curry, sweet sour chicken, and pad Thai were all on point! We will definitely be back. Also the staff work well at ensuring all your needs met.

VERY agitated at my experience! I called to place an order for pickup and got greeted buy someone rude on the phone who barely spoke English correctly. then I proceeded to order and I asked for 2 combo fried rice and I asked for mixed vegetables in them and then i asked what came in the mixed vegetables she said peas carrots and onions so I told her that I only want 1 of the the mixed vegetables in 1 of them in in the other I would like just onion. Apparently I confused her because she told me to start all over again so I slowed down and I ordered the dishes 1 by 1. I ordered a combo fried rice with mixed vegetables and then I ordered a combo fried rice with no shrimp only onion since the lady told me that their mixed vegetables consist of peas carrots and onions. When I checked my order after I got there the second order had peas carrots it so I politely brought it back up and I said the second 1 should not have peas and carrots then the lady proceeds to argue with me about what I asked for and what I said and what she said! First of all I can barely understand her because she does not speak proper english second she's mad because I don't understand her when apparently she was explaining what already came in the rice like I'm supposed to know as if I work there third you NEVER argue with a customer!!! she needs to learn how to communicate with people better and not argue with customers I know what I asked her and I was in front of my friend who heard me ask for it! I know what I said and I don't need her to tell me what I said or did. I will not be coming back here if you want good Thai food then go to Taste of Thai down the street its way better in there and they are polite. I've been told several times not to go here and that they weren't as good as Taste of Thai and I should have listened. There was one very polite lady there who smiled because she knew that I was very frustrated with the other lady who rolled her eyes and snatched the food away for me to take it back to the kitchen and cut me off several times and afterwards spoke in Thai and laughed giggled and carried on with the people in the kitchen I'm sure about me because she thought that I didn't know anything about Thai but she doesn't know that I recorded her whole conversation and I have friends that are thai that can translate for me. So don't ever go here unless you want impolite people serving you!!! And by impolite people i really mean that there's actually just one girl that is impolite that should be fired immediately if they wish to keep business. very disappointing!

small place in a mini mall area. food was very good. my favorites were the fried tofu and the dumplings. the waitress was very attentive and check on us frequently. my husband ordered a chicken vegetable dish "thai hot" and it was HOT.......just the way he likes it. the only reason I give 4 stars is that it is a bit dingy and could use a general face lift and cleaning . would definately go here again. oh, I forgot to mention, the prices are very reasonable.

This place has the best Thai that I've had in this region, and it's inexpensive. We ordered the Cashew Chicken, the Pad Thai, the Spicy House Special and the Chicken Fried Rice. It was all exceptional and fed us for two more meals after we left.

Food is just OK. Really surprised by the other reviews. Hot but not flavorful. Too many other Thai joints to try... Pass on this one.

I had the pad thai here and the pad see iew, neither were that great. Both noodle dishes were too wet/soggy and they put too much fish sauce in them. In Navarre, I'd go to Gus's instead.

I agree with Craig. We are thrilled with this place. We tried the Pad Thai and also the Pad on Green (mixed veggies w/your choice of meat). Both were excellent! I am definitely ready to visit the Thai Hut again.

This place has amazing food, At a really great price. The staff is extremely friendly. It is a little hole in the wall but my kind of hole. If you are ever in Navarre Florida this is a must stop

Good Thai joint in Florida panhandle (Floribama). Green curry, Tom Kha Gai, and Som Tum, all really good. Been to Thailand numerous times, Thai shorty at home, my Thai food credentials are unarguable. Unlike many who claim they like Thai food, but have only eaten Pad Thai, I am a reliable critic. Thai Hut 2 is the best you are going to find in and around Navarre.

I don't know how to rate this. We showed up at the restaurant at 9 pm on Labor Day (Saturday Night) 2009. Who shuts down their restaurant at 8:30 pm on a holiday weekend? Was not happy at all.
