I love this place! Best Haitian food! Just like what you'd get at home. Many Haitian restaurants have come and gone near Chez Guyto...but he always comes out on top. I've been going there since they opened and introduced many friends to his great meals. My friend comes from Jupiter every weekend for his food. If someone complains then they are the problem, not Chez Guyto. My kids love the Acra and walk there often for that. My husband can't get enough of the food. My sister has taken trips from Melbourne and I've been on the mission of being her and my brother food up there as well. You will not be disappointed with the serving size but there are times when you walk in to a full house and people waiting to get their food...but it's worth the wait.

Great Haitian food!!!! I love being Haitian but it's very hard to find a Haitian restaurant that delivers all of my expectations. My only complaint is that it is very greasy. Other than that.. I love buying food there. My family has been buying from them for a long time so it's that good. Very yummy!

Good Haitian food. Clean. Well organized. Fast. Cafeteria style. A little expensive for lunch take out 8.50 They should have a lunch special. You have to ask for picklees put in small containers. It would be nice if they had some outdoor seating.

Very good fresh food!! Spicy and delicious!!!! I go to the dentist next door to them and the aroma of the food is always inviting. Will recommend to everyone who likes fresh and spicy food. Love this place.

This is a Haitian restaurant. The food and customer service is EXCELLENT here! I have tried Boulet (Meatballs), Stewed Chicken and Griot (Fried Pork) and all dishes are fantastic. This is a take-out restaurant with no tables for seating. As soon as you walk through the door you can see all the food that is available (like a buffet). The food is always fresh and tasty, in fact I'll be going back today to try the tassot (fried goat). Another great thing is that this place takes credit cards!!!! The only thing I dislike about this place is the parking situation outside, it is easy to enter but hard to leave. But if you want some authentic and tasty haitian food with people who provide great customer service to folks that speak haitian or english and are looking for a pretty BIG menu then you NEED to check out this place!

Been looking for a good Haitian restaurant for a while and surprised to find one so close to home. Had the pork with rice and peas and it was fantastic. My wife had the goat with rice and peas and it was fabulous as well. No place to eat in .. so strictly a take out place but would highly recommend. The owner is very very friendly... funny I told him I got there via yelp and he did not even know what it was.... amazing!

Some of the best Haitian food in all of South Florida is found here. Although, a take out-only restaurant, this place has customers coming back time and time again because of the quality of the food. There is nothing here that I tried that I did not like-it is all very good. Guyto will even give you a sample if there is something your would like to try. I like it because it is the only place that I've found Dri Djon-Djon ak Pwa, a rice dish with peas that uses mushrooms in the cooking process. This is a great place!

I've been coming here for years but I felt compelled today to write a review. This place is absolutely excellent. The service is very friendly and both of the owners are so nice. The food is prepared and on display so you can see what you're going to get. Today I had their lambi (conch) for the first time and it was excellent. Too bad it's only served on Fridays and Sundays I think but I will be back. The boullette(meatballs) and legume(stewed veggies) is also pretty good. Excellent food. Take out only.

The food here is AWESOME. I tasted it for the first time years ago when I had them on my mail route and I delivered mail to them. Guyto is so friendly and he cooks so good that your first time will not be your last. You'll come back for sure. This is the only place I'll eat haitian food at, other than my friend's mom's home cooked. *It's take out only. No tables. Parking can be tricky during busy lunch time but well worth it. My 5 star rating is based on the taste of the food and the customer service, not the restaurant itself, since it's not an easy in location. It's take out only!

I don't even know how the food is but the service is ridiculously terrible. - I called before coming to make sure they had what I wanted before coming. They said they did. I came. They did not. -The music is blasting. The woman taking orders can't hear. Rather than turning the music down, she just continues to say "ehhh?" -the woman taking orders spends 5 minutes with each customer. Maybe because she's listening to music, on the phone and speaking to a customer all at the same time -I'm there 15-20 minutes before I even order -the sign on the door says they pride themselves on being fast! LIES! Didn't even take a bite yet and I'm positive I won't be coming back.

tried this place strictly by reviews only. It worked. they serve delicious food. When you arrive make sure you take a number. The menu is on the board and just request what you would like. I ordered the regular turkey meal, 10.00. It was very good. I added a nice piece of avocado to the meal. I will post a pic. delicious. will definetly repeat.

We 7 girls just flew into Fort Lauderdale and heard so many good things about this place. By the time we got car and drove here, it was closed. Lucy walked around to the back and found that they had just closed about 10-15 minutes before. These fine people told Lucy that they would be happy to make us some food anyways!!! They even gave us a discount!!!! Fantastic pork and tostones!!! Thank you so much for being so sweet and going above and beyond!

This was my first time there and it was pretty easy to find. However, parking is an issue when busy and for good reason. I ordered the fish and fried turkey with rice and plantains. The food was amazing. I'm Haitian American and its hard in finding true authentic Haitian tasting foods in some restaurants. I will return.

Go in the early afternoon other wise it's a long wait. I love Haitian food and its really hard to find a good restaurant. This is not a sit down restaurant. You order your food and take it with you. Its off of Pembroke Road and 441. When you walk through the door you have to take a number and what your turn until they call it. Like I said before it is really busy in the afternoon and especially on weekends, so plan to wait for about 20/30 minutes before they call your number. The food is really good. I usually get the stewed chicken or turkey since I don't eat red meat or pork. On weekends they have the black mushroom rice which is very good as well. Parking is very limited.

Some of the best Haitian food around. But sometimes the Wait is unbearable. If your in a rush do not come. If you have a moment please check them out.

Great food, helpful staff. You know this place is the real deal, as I always see a lot of Hatians patronizing this place. Even more telling of the food's quality, is I often see individuals eating in the car, as can be assumed they can't wait until they get home to enjoy. :) Cons: The most famous type of Haitian Rice is Jon-Jon. I've only been there two times and it happen to be after 4:30pm and they were out of Jon-Jon both times.

My favorite Haitian restaurant in Broward County. My favorite things to order are the fried goat and meat balls. All of their rices taste great. Also the akra is one of the best I ever had. Its also a good idea to call ahead just to make sure they have what want on the menu that day

Hands down the best Haitian restaurant in Broward county. If you ever notice a bunch of people in their waiting to be served ... There's a reason. The food is THAT good. They could work out a better system for ringing people up ... But other than that I'm literally never disappointed with any of their dishes.

Small place but it is packed with business. I've been there four times already, have to wait at least 15 minutes or more every time I go, but it is worth it, The food is good, you can smell it when you open the door. It is fresh, because the food is going out and gone so fast, and delicious, each dish has its own taste. I love the dirty rice and the pork. Very yummy Too bad they only do take out :-( And the parking is crazy.

Thumbs up! Great food, and great service. Not a sit -in spot. Only takeout. Just pick up your food and go. I've returned several times since finding this place.

Good, fresh authentic Haitian food. Helpful staff are willing to answer questions or fulfill requests. We arrived on a very busy day, but the pleasant way we were greeted was just as important as the delicious cuisine.

Best Caribbean food I have ever had in South Florida. Totally worth the drive. I had the goat with dirty rice and plantains. The portions were massive so I had leftovers. All in all it was a great find.
