Wednesday night is $9.99 all you can eat fried shrimp. And they're not kidding. You get a huge basket of fried shrimp along with fries, cole slaw along with some hush puppies. I happily finished my first batch, which came out hot, fat, juicy, and fried and asked the waitress for just "a little more shrimp." She obliged by handing me a plate with five more fried shrimp. Perfect!

My wife and I went here a few months ago. I ordered a special on their fried shrimp and it was pretty decent. Their prices seemed a bit on the expensive side for the food they served, but not terribly. They really don't have much of a non-seafood selection for anyone who wants seafood and is with someone in the group that doesn't want seafood. Just be warned about that. I wouldn't say this is an outstanding restaurant, but it wasn't exactly terrible like some of the other places I've tried in this area.

Came to this shrimp basket a couple weeks ago and had a great experience! I have a child and we received friendly service and a lot of patience. The food was great, I love shrimp and was impressed with their coconut shrimp.

Don't order "to go" without first checking your meal(s)... I'm usually so hungry, I run out of there without checking only to find my order is totally wrong.

At the Shrimp Basket, grilled does not mean cooked over a grate with charcoal, it's fried on a "grill" with some kind of oil and covered with an over salted seasoning. The French fries were a few steps lower than standard fast food. Why can't "professional" cooks serve fresh cut and fried potatoes,...I don't know. I'm not sure if I've ever felt worse after eating any other restaurants food.

It's alright, not the best seafood, but for the price, it's good. The gumbo is pretty fantastic, and that's enough for me to go for take out. I had the grilled shrimp, and it was really good, though it was a little greasy? How does grilled food get greasy! LOL! I guess it's a southern thing or something, but I would've preferred it dryer, as I ate grilled to save on the calories. The wait staff was really good, friendly and attentive even when it was busy, so A+ there. The decor was somewhat bothersome. It was like someone color blind painted it, and though the restaurant isn't too old, it has a very dank and dated appearance. Food was good, service was good, so, four stars there.

Tasty shrimp baskets, Only downside they dont travel well the fries are soggy by the time we get them home from the condensation on the inside of the lid. I am also not a fan of the cole slaw with the popcorn shrimp. But I would eat there again, just next time no take out

They have the best seafood other than the Catfish house shrimp Basket cook there food different and if we could eat oysters they have the best raw oysters omg I could eat a lot by myself and not share with nobody

this is a review of shrimp baskets new shrimp and grits, not of the restaurant as a whole. they really didn't try on this dish. the blackened shrimp had no blackening to them. they were just grilled at best. not much flavor. the grits were AWFUL.. lumpy and flavorless. it came with delicious cole slaw (though they quit putting little shrimp in the cole slaw i see....) and some blah garlic bread. real quick, this is how you make grits. first of all if your using real grits (if your using instant then I don't have anything for you, your lost.) you have to wash your grits. put them in cold water and seine off the husk, the chaff. then you cook like normal except you never use just water. any halfway good cook knows never to use just water when you can add flavor! so use 3 and a half parts chicken boullion and half a part of half and half or cream. then cook half again longer than the directions say. come on shrimp basket, try harder!

Great food at a great price! Our server was Rebecca and she loved our newborn and entertained him while we fined on the all you can eat popcorn shrimp! We recommend this location to everyone! The price for What you get us the best in town. I hear that they have their own seafood company and that explains why the price beats everyone else!

Love the food and the staff is excellent. It's nice to have a restaurant that specializes in one type of food and does it good rather than trying to do many different types and doing them mediocre.

Staff seemed overwhelmed empty tables but several seniors waiting outside in the heat where they could sit down. Food was average our server was cheerful and did a great job! She has waited on us before.
