This place reminds me of my favorite Mexican restaurant in Memphis, Los Pilares. The cheese sauce is great and was wonderful smothering my steak burrito. The reason I give it only two stars is because of the pricing. If I spend almost 9 bucks on a burrito, it should be absolutely massive. Probably won't go back due to pricing.

This place is amazing! The atmosphere is fantastic the prices and menu selection is great and the waiters are good looking : D We tried a little bit of everything and it was all delicious - no complaints. I am vegetarian and there were tons of options to chose from for me. The quesadilla was fantastic - whatever shell they used was so fluffy and yummy. Their queso in general is great. They might not have alcohol but their rice drinks were amazing - I had two! My 2 year old nephew actually ate his food (quesadilla) which he never eats when we go out. Just wish they had a location in Orlando where we are from as we were just traveling through...

Why can't I live in Florida anymore so I can eat La Hacienda everyday!!! But seriously the service is always so good and the food is delicious and not expensive. I love the fajitas and chimichanga :) cheese dip is a plus too! Can't wait to be back :)

The food was tasty! I had the chicken burrito and the chicken was flavorful and tender. Both of my parents loved their dishes; shrimp with peppers and onions and a taco salad. The decor is a a little over the top, but fun...for some reason it reminded me of the Mexican restaurant in Despicable Me 2....but maybe that was just me! The waiter was nice, they were happy to refill our chips. Be aware the if you want a Corona or a Margarita La Hacienda is a dry restaurant and does not serve alcohol.

Good service. Consistently good Mexican food. If you go to the Milton location note the Bible that stays on the counter near the cash register. My husband and I were betting it was a "prop", and always check out to which chapter it is opened. Yes, it changes. Wish they'd skip a verse here and there, 'cuz a Corona or margarita would be SUPERFINE with their nachos!

Great food, always great service. Everyone is always super friendly. Usually not a long wait if there even is one and food comes out quickly.

Food is subpar. Been here 3 times and I think I have had enough. Only returned because of my son. He likes the tacky decor and fountain. Hostess is rude. Servers are OK. I ordered the enchilada platter and it was awful. For starters, the enchiladas were buried under a mountain of lettuce and were soggy. Add to that they were so bland. The chicken and beef enchiladas had no flavor. Horrible. This is a place that proves that you can't put lipstick on a pig. The interior is donned in this tacky, gimmicky Viva Mexico decor and a fountain. While somewhat charming in a kitsch kind of way, it does not make up for the underwhelming food and service. Makes me really wonder why this restaurant is packed all the time. It stinks. It has to be the decor. One of those well if it looks like this it has to be good situations. Makes Don Pablo's seem like a 5 star restaurant. Hell, I would love to have a Don Pablo's given the options around here.

Pretty average mexican food. I've had better and worse. Salsa tasted like ketchup and had no kick. Meat on burrito and enchilada didn't taste like it was seasoned and may have just been ground beef. I would eat here again but only if nowhere else was open.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
