You sometimes don't know how good you have it until you lose it. How I wish we lived closer to Yi Wong again. Best fried rice in town! Actually anything from there.

Excellent food. Horrible service. The old lady is really rude. If the service matches the taste then I would give them 5 stars!

I eat here way too often. So good.... Everything is good here. Special fried rice is probably the best next to Lo me in

Good service. Fast take out. The orange chicken and fried rice is awesome! Heard phone ring many times. The lady at reception is polite and fast! My kids love the noodles! Great prices

I have been ordering take out from here for over 8 years! I love the food. Very good sweet and sour chicken and shrimp fried rice. Lo mein is also very tasty! I highly recommend.

I can't believe my eyes... I know I live out in the boondocks but how am I the first person to give these guys a review? This is the best chinese take-out in my area. They are always jam packed and I have never had anything I do not like. If you don't know this place and you live nearby you should definately call them and get some delivery. The one thing I think they could improve on is getting more phone lines because sometimes all their lines are tied up and it takes a few tries to get the on the phone. Other than that, I LOVES!

You have to try their Yeung Chow Fried rice it is very authentic and delicious. To me this is hands down the best Chinese take out around.

Just called, the Chinese lady was rude. with attitude on the phone like she was doing me a favor. Had to cancel the order, and besides she wanted to charge me for hot sauce. haha good luck on the business

Four stars...yes....friendly service and good food. Yi Wong is my go-to spot while in this neck of the woods. It has that certain NYC Chinatown ghetto flair to it....Yumm!

My new favorite Chinese delivery in the area! I ordered pan seared pork dumplings, 2 egg rolls, small wonton soup, small Honey Garlic chicken, and small Special fried rice. I ordered this for two people, so we had a full plate of leftovers for lunch the next day. The Honey Garlic chicken is super crispy and well-cooked and the sauce is awesome! The dumplings come with a nice plum sauce and keep well in their container. Rice has lots of protein and is quite tasty. The egg rolls were really good too. I have ordered delivery from a few other places in the neighborhood, and this is my new favorite. I am located about a mile away; food was at my door in 45 minutes. Where they can improve: It takes a couple minutes to get through, because their phone line is often busy. Also, they forgot my egg rolls, but I called and they made good with fresh egg rolls in 30 minutes...but they should have gotten it right the first time. Great food! Order from Yi-Wong.

My review may be a bit biased because I have been ordering from this place for years. There are a myriad of Chinese Take-Out places in Miami, and everyone has that one place they consider to be "the best, most amazing, awesome, spectacular, chinese food in the universe" place. Well, this one is mine.... My typical order is the special fried rice, honey chicken, crab rangoon, and two egg rolls. Once in a while, I order the General's Chicken or the Beef with Brocolli (both amazing) The Lo-Mein is spectacular as well and never greasy. Give it a try once in while, and always call ahead with ample time for pick-up. They deliver to the general area and their prices are very reasonable. Here's a tip - You may need to call a few times, because of demand you may get a busy signal. So be patient and hit redial on your phone... Enjoy!!

Craving Chinese this is the place to go. I was craving Chinese last night and decided to drop by Yi-Wong once again this week. I placed an order for two and wow was it cheap. An order of their small special fried rice, their small honey chicken, one egg roll, white rice (which know one every eats), and two fortune cookies all for 14.02 is GREAT, and we had leftover honey chicken; yes, leftover. I've commented on their special fried rice and honey chicken once before, but I've never commented on their yummy egg rolls. I've ordered their egg rolls before, but I have to say yesterdays egg roll really hit the spot. :) Greasy? Ohh yes, but ohh so good. We always wonder why they serve an order of white rice :/ Hopefully their not charging us for something we never order...

We have been ordering take out Chinese food from Yi Wong for years. We've strayed to Canton, Tropical Chinese and Gourmet Gourmet but we keep coming back to Yi Wong. Best portion sizes, best lo mein, best fried rice. Better for take out since the restaurant needs some updating and its not very appealing, but the food is delicious and if you don't mind taking it out it is worth a try.

I'll start off with this.. my husband and I thought we had found our newest go to Chinese delivery. The food was good! And they weren't cheap on portions. The problem began and is the reasoning for the 1 star, is because they loaded the meal with MSGs!!!! Like sooooo bad that we BOTH spent the night clutching our head from the pain. MSG is known to give killer headaches and neck numbness. Well we suffered big time and we paid dearly. We took 4- 200mg tylenol and nothing would ease the certain headache we had. It wasn't even a typical headache it was soooooo much worst and lasted the WHOLE night. We had so much left overs that we tossed it out and dint even think twice about wasting food. This was the first time we ever experienced anything like that and we eat Chinese every week! i cant speak for their other items but stay away from their Chinese line of foods. Either way they certainly left a 1st impression on us both, sadly, it wasn't to their favor...nor to ours.

horrible service when ordering over the phone then when food was delivered i was called a "comepinga" because i didnt answer the door quick enough

Yep, a funky hole in the wall, carefully hidden away in typical Miami strip-mall fashion. I waited a while, and a small mountain of take out before reviewing. They're good, fast and cheap, and they're beating tail on the other Chinese/take-outs locally (they all cater to the native indigenous Latin populace, so, hey, it ain't gourmet, but it's OK for a quick, easy meal). The tastes are interesting, they have a kind of sweet take on their dishes that you might find unusual, but so far, everything has been fresh and well prepared... oh, and order low-sodium, no MSG for the best results. Any of the usual take-out standards will do; so far, we like the Mu Shu Chicken (served with tortillas!) Pepper Steak and Pork Lo Mein. If you ask, they'll do up a special for you - ours is Pork with Bean Sprouts...

Ordered take out twice and it's been great! Their special fried is very good and there pork dumplings are a must! I also had there barbecue ribs and there the best I have had. I I'm a big fan of Chinese food. I ordered takeout twice as I said earlier and the service is awesome. My order arrives at my door step in about 20-30 minutes not bad....one thing I would like to mention I wish they would include a menu to their takeout customers with there food. I went on a mission to find the menu, luckily my sister had ordered before so I got the menu from her. Will defiantly recommend to other people!

Our new Friday night Chinese Food delivery place. I've ordered our favorite, honey chicken combination three times and it's been delicious. The portions are generous(my husband and I share a combination platter we just order an extra egg roll) and the food gets here nice and hot. Delivery is reasonably fast, between 20-30 minutes. Yay!

I've very skeptical when it comes to Chinese food/Chinese take out however this place is really good! Fried rice is delish, dumplings are awesome, wonton soup reminds me if what real wonton soup should be and the tostones they make are really great!!

I threw away entire general changs entree after three bites. Absolutely no chicken just breading. No Vegetables in VEGETABLE Lo Mein an neither in VEGETABLE fried rice . Lo Mein taste like the cardboard box it came out of. I just took a few bites an I cant stop repeating "burping" that grub. Complete garbage food prepared by cheap bastards. Any review telling you this place is good is from people who never left kendall. Any cuban cafeteria can cook this shit.

This has always been my favorite Chinese place. I have yet to find one that can compare to this one, I have yet to find it. Their egg rolls are crunchy and perfect. They listen to orders and rarely even make mistakes. There accent is a bit thick so please bare with them. The have the best lunch special that are also applicable on Sat until 3:30pm. Depending, the lunch specials are big enough to share with 2 or 3 people at most. I will forever come here.

DISCLAIMER: This 5 stars are solely based on the food. I love the food from this place. My family has been ordering food from here for years and it is amazing. Best Chinese rice and honey garlic chicken. The only thing I don't like about this place is that they can be VERY RUDE.

Great sesame chicken and BBQ ribs. Cheap fast delivery. The special fried rice comes with huge chunks of chicken shrimp etc.

Dear Yi-Wong, Where have you been all my life? I have literally passed this place thousands of times and never gone in. Until one day my cousin tells me about it. It is the best chinese food I've had. Their special fried rice is to die for, and I'm not even a big fan of rice. They have an amazing egg drop soup and their honey chicken is cooked to perfection. I have fallen in love with this place!!

GREATEST mistake ever. I accidently made an order here knowing I was going to dinner somewhere else and it worked out. The chicken fried rice here is better then anywhere I've had including Benihana and Samurai. Go for the honey chicken too and combine that with the chicken fried rice and your in for a great food coma. I definitely come here more then I should and I am very glad I did this night. Thank you readers and thank you Yi Wong. The staff is wonderful and they speak english and spanish pretty fluent impressive.

Worked next door to them for 3 years, had their sweet and sour lunch special almost everyday. After I left my job, 2 years ago, I still go back on my days off to get their delicious food. This place is a must go, their portions are amazing!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
