I am a Miami native and had family visiting from Holland. The goal was for them to try the best paella in the city and they did not disappoint me. There were four of us and we all had different entrees and they all were delicious! So much so I took them back the next day. Great food, great view, great experience.

I came here because I had a 10% discount ticket, I didn´t have a very high expectation since this is the typical place for tourist, but the food was not really bad, and prices not too high for what they have. They have several tables so it`s easy to seat down outside. My choice was a fish sandwich (grilled grouper sandwich) and it was good, but the sandwich was made without care, with two sad tomato slices and two sad lettuce leaves falling in the side... cole slaw was too saucy for my taste (almost swimming in the mayonnaise). The fish was big, taste was not bad, but not the best I have tried. Service is nice and they are very fast and always close. Just OK if you pass by and don´t know where to have lunch.

Service was decent on a warm Monday morning as I met some Navy buddies for brunch before they left on a cruise. Pretty basic bar, zero craft beer other than Blue Moon and Sam Adams which everyone carries. And for Bayside, that's just unacceptable, so minus one star. Other than that, it was a good experience, nothing exciting here, so minus another. Pretty average place. Move along, nothing to see here unless you happen to already be at Bayside.

Very good. Had a quick lunch here yesterday right before going on a 4:30pm Biscayne Lady Cruise. The service was attentive and quick. We let them know we only had a short time and they made it happen.

The last time I came (July 2013) the food was great and the service was so bad I almost fought the waiters and the managers. This time: Alain our waiter was fantastic. So. Eat here. And don't fight.

We ordered the Lobster Paella as we really wanted some sort of Seafood! Pretty good dish and a decent size for about 3 people or so, but was a bit too salty for our liking .. Service is OK

    (3)
  • Sarah W.

Burgers were decent so I gave An extra star. One hour and we only drank one round. We would of had many and spent the afternoon here, but the bartenders ignored us and only had two other customers. Their loss, we normally tip double.

Wow Bayside is still open? Honestly I haven't been here in probably about 10 years but decided to stop by for some grub/drinks before a Heat playoff game on Saturday. Obviously all the restaurants in bayside are tourist traps but lo and behold I was surprised to find a decently rated place on Yelp!. All of the restaurants at Bayside have one thing in common - amazing views. However in my experience the food and service have always been sub-par. Unbelievably the food at Tradewinds is pretty damn good. There is a pretty good selection here ranging from typical bar fare to crab legs. We had the grouper sandwich and the hangover burger. While both were good the star of the show was definitely the burger. The "Hangover Burger" contains 10 oz's of fresh angus, sautéed peppers & onions, bacon, american cheese, bbq sauce & topped with a sunnyside up egg. It's hard to screw up a burger with a fried egg on top but I've seen it done. Surprisingly the patty was perfectly cooked - juicy medium rare and was seasoned and tasty. It's a fairly large burger and the toppings really bring the taste over the top. The fries here are also very good. Very pleasantly surprised to find a decent place at Bayside - will definitely come back here for another Heat game!

Great experience! Loved our waiter! Great service, quick and quality was nothing but the best. Steamed peel and eat shrimp was very delicious. Have to try the chicken mojito dish, so flavorful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting bayside.

I had higher expectations for this place since Miami should have banging seafood. We ordered the crab cakes and seafood sampler for 2. Crab cakes were good as well as the seafood sampler but definitely not worth what we paid. It is extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. The service was weird... Had random servers each time. First problem we had a menu missing a page and told our first waiter who came back and never gave us a new menu. Then had 5 different waiters serve our food, ask how our food was ( 4 times within 10 min), and another give our check. The check was even worse, he told us to put a star next to the percent tip that rated how well the service was (18%=bad, 20%= good,25%=very good) 18% for shitty service was way too much... We felt obligated since he stood by as we picked bad... Overall this place is not worth it.

Calamari was terrible Oily and over cooked. Oven broken so we couldn't get pizza for the kids. Burger was too fatty Sea bass was over cooked. Wow how can you manage to screw up all orders?

    (1)
  • Patricia O.

Food is not that great and it's pricey for what you get. My mom ordered the salmon and it came out a bit flavorless, my sis got the Cesar salad, just ok and I ordered the Cuban sandwich, not bad. You Pay FOR View And Location, not quality of food.

Love this place for raw oysters and clams. Other food are ok. I think they are too greasy but yet tasty (I am into not too greasy food). I love when they have Happy Hour on raw bar super cheap and delicious. When I came for happy hour it was $4 for half dozen oysters. Really worth it. Super fresh and tasty.

We were in Miami for vacation. We wanted some decent seafood that wasn't overpriced. We stumbled on this place while walking through bay front mall. The food was excellent! I had the blackened grouper sandwich and my wife the crab cake sandwich. We both had a mojito. Our bill with a tip came to just over $50. My wife found the waiter adorable. I thought he was efficient... I recommend this place!

Good food, great view, mediocre service. I'd go again just due to the atmosphere though.

oyster is very fresh. Frozen drinks are too sweet but still taste good. Their corn is my favorite.

  • K M.

The best chef there is Francois. You are lucky if you get a good waiter or waitress. The 5 stars are for Chef Francois, and the ambience because its right on the water where you can people watch and watch the boats come in and out.

  • Ingrid D.

I was hesitant to go here since they are affiliated the the cruise line we were taking (they plug the restaurant and I felt the food might not be as good). However, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised. He loved the calamari and his sandwich. My churrasco sandwich tasted great but the meat was hard to bite in. Despite that, it was a good experience.

As you can see im not even giving this shitty place a star. It has horrible service!!!!!!!!! We ordered some appetizers that were pretty good however it took more than a hour for two grouper sandwiches which never came because we left because of the service. I even spoke to the OWNER who was a inconsiderate asshole he didn't care at all about the service we received and just walked away. Please do yourself a favor don't waste your time or money here. FYI to the owner just because your in a tourist location doesn't mean you have to run your place like a shit hole because the locals keep it alive. Never again will I or anyone I know eat here.

  • B O.

The service was good. The guy was nice and attentive despite the section we sat in. The food was god-awful. The 49 dollar plate of an 8oz filet mignon and 6oz lobster tail was not worth even half of that. The lobster was drier than the Sahara and the filet was less than ordinary. It tastes like the kitchen butterflied a filet and slapped it on the grill - no seasoning, no nothing. I wouldn't doubt that there are better items on the menu but I would not recommend ordering the surf-n-turf. Or the pinot noir...or the sauvignon blanc. The pours are stingy for cheap wine. Also, my girlfriend would highly suggest to never order the stuffed snapper. She couldn't even finish it. It tasted like fish with breaded mush.

Amazing conch fritters and mojitos! Absolutely worth the visit.

    (4)
  • Sara W.

Located right by the pier so good atmosphere and environment. The watermelon mojito and other drinks were good but beware the drinks with the souvenir cups are $19! Just get the drinks without the cups for like less than half the price. Got the seafood platter. Generic fried seafood and some crab and shrimp. Nothing different than what you would expect but good nonetheless. Bit on the pricy side overall but places like thesr are all like that.

    (4)
  • Konnie F.

Nice location near the water. Inattentive staff, over priced to account for location. SMALL oysters at $19 per dozen. Nothing special.

    (3)
  • Roger R.

Place for tourist. If you are a local you might want to skip this one. Food and service was good but a bit pricey. On the plus side they do serve some huge drinks.

    (3)
  • Anna A.

Mojitos great. Service good. We went there on Monday night and place was pretty busy. My friends was going crazy about clam soup It's not my favorite. So I enjoy soup of the day. Over all. Good food. Good drinks. Good experience.

  • Foodie M.

Food was good. Service was good also. Seafood platter is a good selection for two people. Happy hour starts at 4pm and drink selection should please most. Give it a try if your in the mood for seafood.

I'm a buffalo wings enthusiast and I liked them so much. Atmosphere is really good, however alcoholic beverages are a bit expensive!

  • Christina M.

My boyfriend used to work here, so service is amazing. Try the paella, it won't disappoint!

    (5)
  • Kenny H.

Tourist trap beware! The alcoholic beverages are heavily overpriced $30+ for some mixed drinks, the service is extremely slow during nights and weekends. You may have to wait 45-60 minutes for food (if they haven't run out). Only perk is the oysters are good quality and taste great.

  • Erain L.

food is okay.. but the location is very great.. bayside by the bay... seafood is very fresh.

    (4)
  • Burtay A.

Horrible food and bad service. It's waterfront but the food is so bad that you cannot enjoy it. If I could give any minus 5 stars this would be the place. Stay away if you enjoy taste in food and reasonable average South Florida service.

  • Erik C.

Great location, friendly wait staff, poor food. What a shame. We ordered grouper and they served us tilapia. We're very disappointed. They insisted it was grouper. We know the difference between the two. Stay away!

This wasn't the oyster bar I originally wanted to try, but some how we ended up here. For a short while, we couldn't find this place. I had called for directions. Can I just say that the lady who picked up was extremely shortcoming? I asked if she can tell me where the restaurant was located. She said "uh Bayside. You know by the water." HA.. Okay. Thanks, that was super helpful. We were pressed for time. I didn't have time to yelp for other places and go to another place. Still ended up eating here.. Server was welcoming. I'm sure he was excited to have anyone sit in his area. Granted that we stopped in the middle of the day, but it was close to dead (just 2-3 other tables occupied total). Server wasn't extremely attentive but he was friendly. Oysters were fresh, not "seafood taste." Ceviche was average - I do appreciate that it wasn't saturated with salt! Tuna tataki was average. Seafood combo was a partial hit and partial miss - scallops were delicious and fresh, nothing special about the grilled shrimp, lobster tail did not feel very fresh... Long story short. It's not a bad place to stop by and dine. You'll be by the water and there's a nice breeze.

Great outdoor setting in beautiful Bayside waterfront marina. I had the whole fried fresh snapper with black beans and rice. It was delicious and our waitress was very courteous and provided advice while we made our decision. The price was steeper than I prefer but if you eat at any of the Bayside restaurants you can expect to pay a lot more.

    (4)
  • Jessica B.

Bayside is an awful tourist trap mall right off the cruise ships so people can buy stuff. With that said trade winds was ok service- TGI Fridays level of food. It wasn't awful or good.

    (2)
  • Noaa B.

Food was quite good. Enjoyed the scallops that were perfectly Cooked. I also had the seabass. It was grilled and came with a side. Unfortunately the service was not the best. The view is great and there are tv's all around. Price was ok. Would go back

  • Tim F.

Tourist trap,,, yes. Food and service, very good. The staff was very quick to seat us (remember tourist trap.) the waitress was very nice and helpful. She steered us away from some selections which was very helpful. I went with the blackened Mahi Mahi, and my wife went with the sampler both dishes were very good, the blackened Mahi was seasoned just perfect. The mojitos are good, but not sure if they are really worth the price. They weren't watered down at all though. :) If I'm back in town again, I'd eat here again.

  • Valentina M.

This place is super touristy but since we were tourists, I guess we ended up here. I normally try to avoid places like this but we were starving and also wanted to catch a World Cup game. I do have to say that this place had the best service we had during our entire weekend in Miami which was really appreciated. My husband ordered a cuban sandwich and fries which he said was pretty standard. I ordered the ceviche which was pretty good but nothing to write home about. We both got mojitos which were super tasty but I bit light on the booze. Overall an ok place to grab a bite while being a tourist.

    (3)
  • Robin E.

With so many great places to dine in Miami I can't believe people still settle for less ... but on game day it's all about location, and Tradewinds has it in spades. And that is really the only good thing I can say. The margarita is weak and the ceviche is laced with pepper to mask the fact that they can't really make a ceviche. Suffice it to say we are attempting to cash out so we can go get dinner (the reviews about slow service after quick seating are right on point.)

    (2)
  • Linda C.

Very touristy but it was on the water and this would have been great during the day but we ate there in the evening. We had the seafood sampler and it was pretty good. Our waitress was very attentive, she was new and provided us a lot of good ideas for things to visit in the city.

    (3)
  • Kari L.

Food was average to above average. Service was pretty bad... Took 15 minutes to get the check then another 10 to pick it up.. Food also took a while to come out. Some things are really expensive and some are okay prices. Lobster paella for 2 was $60 but sandwiches are around $10-15. Seafood pasta was $30 or $35 and fried shrimp dinner was $22. $3 for a coke, $16 for a margarita (Beer and alcohol prices are *ridiculous* except for wine). Overall, it's definitely a tourist trap. Wouldn't go back when bubba gumps is around the corner.

I have to add the caveat that we where extremely tired, hungry and frustrated. We had experimented with using Tri-Rail to get to Miami's Perez Museum from Deerfield Beach which took us almost 4 hours. So when we saw Bayside we said the hell with it, lets just get some food. We came upon Tradewinds, looked at the menu then the view and said this will do. I ordered the Lobster rolls and my wife got the Chicken sandwich with fries. My Lobster rolls where greasie and easily fell apart. It would of been tolerable if the meat was tasty but it was not and it only extended my frustrating day. My wife's chicken sandwich was thick and tasty though and she couldn't finish it so at least i did not leave hungry. I must also add i hate it when restaurants fail at the simplest things like french fries. Her fries where stale and the type where the whole fry is sort of hard making me think they are the frozen kind. I definitely would not go there for the food, have a drink enjoy the view but have your meal somewhere else.

  • G. N.

If I can a zero star I would this place was horrible. I thought Miami was better then this. Our waiter was very rude we didn't get one our plates till everyone was done then when we got it it had a hair in it. We asked 4 people for a Togo plate and it took me to get up and ask for one. To get one the whole experience was bad

I wouldn't eat here again, the food quality was poor and service is ok but they forgot an appetizer. Overall I wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone. After reading soñé reviews on this establishment I feel that they could have made it a pleasurable experience and maybe the cook just had an off day but I cannot sincerely say that the food was anything but inedible. I ordered the Crab Bucket and left over 50% of it. That thing cost me $49 bucks and I wasn't satisifed. Be careful and keep it light maybe my mistake was that I chose to go "Big" and eat well but they couldn't execute correctly.

    (1)
  • Dale L.

My buddy had the grouper sandwich I had the wings both were excellent. They have a great happy hour on week nights, service from the bartenders was super friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

Everytime someone mentions Bayside, I always think to myself, "Ewwww, Bayside - tourist trap". But then, inevitably, I find myself at Bayside for some unavoidable reason or other and I'm always pleasantly surprised. We came here for a late lunch after a catamaran trip upon the recommendation of the captain. We were seated promptly by the very friendly Joanna. While we were waiting, she brought some smoked fish dip - an amuse bouche at Bayside! Imagine that! The food arrived promptly and we enjoyed every last bite. Ceviche was fresh and tangy, fried dolphin fingers were crispy and hot, and the mixed salad with ahi tuna arrived piled high with mesclun, tomato and cucumber with a generous portion of fish. Prices are reasonabl and service is friendly.

Our experience here was odd. Walked in as the Miami Hurricanes were playing their 2014 bowl game and not one TV had the game on. We asked a waitress if we could watch it (she was very nice) who went to two managers who were screaming at another waitress for being late behind the oyster bar. The loudest one had white hair and a very angry look on his face the entire time we were there. The other one had short curly dark hair just looked miserable the entire time. Neither ever smiled or greeted us. Our waiter could not have been nicer, but did not speak a lot of English. Our food came quickly and was good. (Shrimp, sliders and a chicken sandwich.) Our waiter shook the hands of the guys that were with us and thanked each of us for coming. He was charming and the negative, nasty managers could learn a thing or two from him.

One of the best seafood places in Miami. I am not a huge fish person but the Orange glazed grouper was out of this world. The service was on point all night long. It's a great place to people watch and see all the ships go by.... I also had crab cakes, that were so good and I ate so much, I could not order dessert, but I will next time.

We came here for a lunch with the bachelorette party I was with. The best part of this place is the view of the bay front and the fresh seafood. They offer alcoholic beverages with souvenir cups/ glasses. The prices range between 15-30 dollars. I ordered a large pink lemonade. Apparently their large drinks only come in these souvenir glasses. The restaurant charged me 30 dollars for lemonade! I thought it was a mistake so I brought it to the waitresses attention. She said that it was a correct charge. I had to speak to the manager to have it taken off. A nonalcoholic glass of lemonade should not be thirty dollars unless the glass is made of gold. The manager agreed and was kind enough to take it off the bill. He was vey kind. These prices were not listed on the menu. I thought this was a tricky way to make a bill more expensive and wouldn't go back because of it. Other than that it was perfect for a Sunday fun day!

Looks and feels like a tourist trap, but the food is surprisingly good. Seating is outside and under the awning, but the tables are plenty. Nice view of the harbor/marina compliments the good dining and atmosphere. Appetizers... Fried Calamari - light and crispy, went really well w/ the chili sauce ($11) Crab Cakes - lightly seasoned w/ good amount of crab meat, drizzled w/ aioli sauce ($12) Entree... Grouper Sandwich - grilled grouper on bun served w/ lettuce and tomato ($13) Seafood Pasta - linguine sauteed in alfredo sauce topped w/ shrimps, scallops, mussels, and clams ($30) - overpriced IMHO Whole Stuffed Florida Lobster - whole lobster stuffed w/ crab and baked ($30)

Rating 3.5 4 Stars for the food 3 Stars for the service. They took too long for our food to come out. Although the scallops dish was really good. I really like the cafe con leche. Other dishes were just ok, my daughter had the burger slider, and my wife had something that we couldn't remember because it wasn't memorable. I would give it 4 stars if the service was better.

This place is a tourist trap like all other places in this area!! I've been all over the world and to hundreds of bars/restaurants and I have never paid as much for a beer as I did here. Ridiculous!!! How much do you expect to pay for one Miller lite?!?! Five bucks maybe. I ordered a Miller on draft and the waiter only asked if I would like a tall one(Pilsner)...I said sure! That's all he said. When I get my bill the food alone was $31. The ONE Miller lite pilsner, which is domestic in USA by the way, was $24!!!!!!!!!!! F**k that!! I can't stand business that are dishonest about outrageous prices like this! The waiter never said anything about the price! I should have asked before I ordered but in in my entire adult life I have never paid $24 for a beer! Even in Australia or England where prices are very high I paid $10 max for a beer! Shame on business like this!

Tradewinds - NOT a tourist trap. I am pleased and surprised by the fact that I am a local writing a good review about a place in Bayside. When my mom suggested we stop at this place for oysters on the half shell I immediately thought-tourist trap!. Fortunately I was able to quickly pull up the yelp review which indicated otherwise. I am happy to report I concur with the other reviews. We enjoyed the food we ordered, our server (Vanessa) was great, and the marina atmosphere was a plus that day. We ordered a dozen oysters, peel and eat shrimp and ceviche. I'd skip the ceviche next time but the shrimp and oysters were very good. Since we didn't have any truly prepared food I can't go higher than a three on this rating. There is enough variety on the menu for seafood lovers and lovers of land animals. You can bet a burger or mahi sandwich for about $12. If you find yourself with an out of towner in Bayside and you need a place to go. Definitely consider this place a safe bet. It's below Hooters and the servers are just as Hooter-ifourous.

I will never forget this place, not because of the food or anything else, but because I distinctly remember getting bit by my first mosquito (repeatedly, I might add) while sitting at the bar and looking at the bay... HA! On a serious note, It was pretty rad. I was able to enjoy a few daiquiris outside, the choice of food was just right and the service was pretty attentive. I would definitely suggest a stop by at least once!

  • LRB L.

Meh. Service was poor and the birds (I know, out of their control) but the birds... agghh! We were dive-bombed relentlessly. Food was okay. With all the dining options available in the immediate area, I'd choose differently next go round.

  • Karen r.

I have to say, this place really surprised me. It's in a mall and seemed a bit cheesy (not sure why, maybe the orange shirts), but the food is really good. If they're running the special with the fried shrimp, get it! It was 8 really large, succulent shrimp with a super-spicy sauce. The crabcakes were very good also. Did not care for the fried calamari. Prices were reasonable; I think they're higher because of the location. After our boat tour, our tour operators recommended Tradewinds. I think with the built-in clientele, they're doing OK. Then again, seems the prices are going to be elevated at any tourist stop. It's a good option if you're in the area.

If you like rude staff that always try's to trick you into paying more, just so they can add a fat gratuity to your check... then you love it here. Horrible service meets bitchy bartenders. If you came to drink, you're better off upstairs at hooters or Fat Tuesdays. p.s. the happy hour is a scam.

Good mahimahi sandwich. Great location. Nice water side seating. If you are in the Miami area and want some seafood. This is the place.

  • L L.

Pleasantly surprised! I hmmed and haaad before deciding to sit down and eat here after our boat tour. It looked like such a tourist trap but decided we haven't eaten lunch so we needed to eat something! We ordered the grouper sandwich (huge and fantastic - enough to share with two pple) and the caesar salad (needed some greens)! Both were excellent but my dining mate felt that the mojito was expensive ($10) for what it was... nothing all that special I guess. Service was decent as well... and the view was definitely worth it!!!! If we had to eat that same meal in Boston I'm sure it would have been alot more just to sit by the water... but that's Boston for you. =) I also saw some folks that looked like locals there so that's always a good sign!

in the middle of bar hopping, bf and i ended up here. we just wanted a beer and one appetizer but we ended up getting.. oysters: ok calamari: so good ceviche: even better a souvenir beer cup to share: it was huge. the waitress told it was equivalent to about 2.5 beers. i believe they only have outdoor seating. i didn't mind at all considering how nice it felt to enjoy a nice meal by the bay with a beer in one hand. it was hot and humid but they have strong fans to keep you cool. bf and i loved lounging around for a bit before heading to the next bar. service was great.

By all means, if you have to have a nibble before or after a cruise from the Port of Miami, the Bayside Marketplace couldn't be more convenient, and Tradewinds lives up to its favorable TA rating, which is why I chose it in the first place. The waterfront location is nice, but can be noisy with boat maintenance going on right in front of you. But the Mojito (traditional) is delicious. And if you are lucky enough to have George as your server, trust his recommendation on what is best to eat at the moment. The Grouper sandwich (fried, per George) was mouthwatering, not to mention large enough for two or three, and the Key lime pie almost as good. And check their website for a 10% coupon, honored even from your phone or tablet. I just might stop here for breakfast when my cruise ends.

I ordered the mahi mahi blackened and the flavor was really delightful. My 3 star vs 4 is the price - granted this part of miami is uber touristy but still, 22 for a fish and side salad is a bit much.

Don't really know why we picked this place, but it was fine. Nothing specular, but we had a delightfully fun server. Maybe he flirted with me because he found me attractive. Maybe he flirted with me because he works off tips. In any case, we enjoyed ourselves. Oh there was a veggie burger on the menu, thats why we came here. It came with cheese on it though, blerg.

Me and my boyfriend went to Miami and we (along with my sister and best friend) went to this little restaurant in search for seafood and we didn't even know it was a restaurant, it just looks like a bar. But the servers were friendly and funny, they served us a decent amount of food and it was delicious. I had the crab legs and the fried shrimp and while you enjoy the food, you can also enjoy the view of the pier. Its really a sight to see. BTW, the pina coladas are to die for!! Enjoy!

Food was good - Chicken sandwich was tasty, but was a little dry. Husbands sandwich was tasty as well. Decent beers, decent food selection - would have enjoyed it more if the person who was sitting next to us was not allowing his toddler to feed the seagulls the whole time were were trying to eat. Smoking at outside tables which is nice. Little headache inducing with the music coming from trade winds, the music from the band and the music from Hooters. But service was very good and we will return

Places like this are tough to rate. It isn't a traditional restaurant and it isn't a traditional sports bar. It is an completely outdoor sports bar with good food in a tourist mall/marina. Here are our observations: 1. Margarita is delicious - it isn't made with sour mix. I don't like that the drink menu doesn't have prices, though. 2. Oysters were fresh, but care wasn't taken to preserve the liquor. Also, one oyster was served on the wrong half of the shell. I know it's picky, but its basic seafood service. 3. Blackened grouper sandwich is excellent and the fries are spot on. 4. Ahi tuna salad is simple, but tasty -- six or so strips of rare Ahi atop fresh greens with a sweet Asian dressing. 5. A waitress was kind enough to share bug spray with my mosquito bitten girlfriend. Thank you for that!

Wasn't happy with dining experience - brought bottled water when asked for water - no clams in shells or in rest of seafood pasta - automatic gratuity with only two dining - mahi mahi was pretty good. Pasta was boring - $60 for two with no beers Seems like mostly chain type restaurants around that area. Blah

Every time I come to Bayside, I feel like this place blends in with its surroundings, so it never really stood out to me. Came by on a Friday night and decided to stop for some drinks and dinner. Malibu was there doing a drink promotion, so it seemed like a good idea. I ordered the mojo chicken and my boyfriend ordered the blackened snapper. Both meals were pretty impressive. I wish I could have bottled that mojo so I can smother everything I ever ate with it. I was fairly closing to licking all of it off my plate. The chicken itself was cooked well, and both meals came with a side. The place itself is cozy - you're directly in front of the water and have several TV's to watch the game from. Prices are fair - average at $10-$13 per entree. All-in-all a pleasant experience. I hear their breakfast is amazing, so I'll definitely be back for that.

Stopped over at Bayside this morning to get breakfast. My friend recommended this place. The meal was really good. For $9, I got a nicely seasoned skirt steak, home fries with onions & peppers, 2 eggs and toast. We sat on the water, which has a fantastic view of the bay, boats, etc. Service was attentive and friendly. Mist fans outside, which is always a plus when eating outside in Miami. The only thing I didn't like was they have 2 nice flat screen TVs outside, but they are covered in plastic, so during the day with the glare, you can't see what's on the screen, But it's probably perfect at night. I'll definitely head back to this place next time I'm over here.

Miami's best Hamburgers!! A wonderful location and reasonably priced food. Good meat, good spices and portions just about the right size. Friendly service. I can only recommend that place.

This establishment is great for lunch sitting outside and enjoying the waterfront view at Bayside. I had the Mahi Mahi sandwich Cajun style with a side of fries, pretty good but a little pricey for lunch. The service is good, seated quickly and the food was served fast. I have heard the fresh fish is great here; I will need to come back for dinner.

Slow inattentive service. Food was acceptable. Drink cups are very small for the price even with refills because guaranteed you can't find your server enough for more than one refill on tea. 3.5 for food, 2 for service.

The ABSOLUTE worst place to go when visiting Bayside. A friend and I decided to check out this bar when we heard about their "2-4-1" happy hour. After waiting for over 45 minutes to just be seated at the bar, we were only welcomed with THE WORST customer service of all time. While we sat at the bar, waiting for our service, we overheard our bartender speak with one of the two waiters, saying almost exactly this, "Ugh, that f****** fa**ot asked for a splash of cranberry? What a piece of Sh*t.." This was only the beginning of our horrifying experience. After our first beer, we asked for our tab, because of the excessive abuse of most of the customers there, now check this out. For our 12 dollar tab, we decided to split it in half, my friend and I. We recieved two tabs of 9.77$. What? We asked our bartender to check our tab and make changes accordingly...Instad the manager came out, looked over our tab, and OBNOXIOUSLY exclaimed "Wow, you two are seriously going to split a 20 dollar 12 dollar tab? Dont you have enough money to just pay for it with one card?" What? Really? As we proceeded to STILL tip the bartender over 35% for her service, we were laughed at by the manager and the other waiters as we left.

Very nice atmosphere and a friendly wait staff. Had the conch fritters for appetizer and WOW those things were good. Dinner was the "paella for two." More like paella for four. Plenty to eat and really good flavor. Highly recommended.

Wow! This bar on the waterfront in the Bayside Marketplace was a true find. Our bartender was so nice and friendly we felt right at home. She turned us on to an awesome beer called " Holy Mackeral". Very nice, must try. We weren't going to eat here originally but I sure am glad we did. I had the Mahi burger $11 which was a fresh, large piece of Mahi Mahi on an egg bun, lettuce, tomato with French fries. My wife had the Cuban Sandwhich $8 Ham, roasted pork, melted cheese & pickles on Cuban bread. This sanwhich was very tasty. If you are in the Bayside Marketplace check this place out. If nothing else have a Blackberry Margarita, you won't regret it! Great food, warm personalities and a great atmosphere!

The front desk manager at the hotel we stayed at recommended coming to Bayside, even though it is kind of touristy. Tradewinds looked good so we stepped onto he patio (70 degrees is eat outside every meal time when you live in Boston in January) and were promptly seated. I had iced tea and a cuban sandwich. The cuban was pretty tasty and ha grill marks on the bun. Andy had the grouper sandwich cajun grilled and it was good, but weird that it came on a hoagie roll. The service was pretty good but a bit slow at times.

This is a nice waterfront place to sit and eat. We came here for i suppose a "brunch" around 11am. Service was ok. Our waitress was nice, but not super friendly. The food was pretty pricey, $15 for a shrimp cocktail appetizer. There were 6 shrimps! They were good, but shrimp cocktail can't get any worse except for the price. My BF's conch fritters were kind of burnt and they don't compare to the ones in the Bahamas. If you're really hungry and you dont have anywhere else to go, I guess you can stop by here while shopping around the Bayside Marketplace.
