Amazing food, great atmosphere and excellent service...it was totally an extraordinary experience for me and my wife. It is indisputable that the owner spotlessly expressed his unique taste of art not only to fancy dishes but also to every detail of ambient and decoration. The elite manager, Matt, welcomed us sincerely and accompanied to our table. We started with Spring Rolls and Tuna Tartar. They both were beyond expectations. Then as main course, I had Korean Beef as my wife got Ohyo Halibut (grilled fish with asparagus and broccoli). You may get surprised when you see the shrimps as toppings. ( like my wife did lol) Finally, we were so glad that we ordered homemade cheesecake that is made of natural ingredients with no preservatives. If you are tired of monotone dining places, The Gang Miami is where you should be headed!

Being a foodie who has food allergies and is a picky eater can be a problem. You have to look for restaurants that serve safe type of dishes, and can only have certain items off the menu. So you look for places that take these dishes and make it a 5 star experience on service and making those dishes creative. The Gang Miami is that kind of place! I stopped in during one of the first nights of Basel after reading about them in New Times. Their funky decor caught my eye, from the 1960's magazine ads in the bathroom to the tile wall from an interior hidden stair. My waitress promptly attended to me, going over the safe dishes, which started with three chicken satay skewers in a rich, spicy peanut sauce. It was also served with a sample of mixed greens that cooled the spicy heat....which continued with the Hunan Chicken (yeah, picky eater me was squeamish when eating a dish that looks like I'm being a cannibal). The sweet vinegar taste and heat from the red peppers was delicious and went well with the sticky white rice. The thai donuts with coconut shavings and fresh strawberries which I took to go extended my happy meal a little longer. The service I got secures their 5 star rating, I appreciate the owner Bogdan coming around my table to ask about my meal. They get extra points for preparing my to go order while I rushed back to the gallery to get my car and dropping it back to my car. I look forward to eating with "The Gang" again.

A very nice neighborhood feel to the place. Excellent Miami Spice menu. We had the pork rolls and chicken dumpling appetizers which were great. Main courses were chicken noodles and lamb chops - both of which were on the Spice menu and delicious. Finished with lava cakes and key lime pies. A wonderful dining experience.

I am from Turkey and have been living in Miami for a few years. I originally came here to study and stayed after college. What I like most about Miami is the diversity of choice due to the melting pot of nationalities. I believe this has been an added value to the local culinary scene because I can dine at many diverse places with out having to travel. I have eaten at many latin cafes and restaurants and have tried food from all the Americas. I still love my Turkish food from home and I enjoy lebanese as well. Now I have a new favorite restaurant and I still have to try more items on the menu. This new restaurant I enjoyed was The Gang on North Miami Ave in Midtown. I liked it because even though they say it is Asian Fusion, it is more than the typical Asian fusion in Miami. The Gang is more traditional with an eclectic menu with Indian items and Indian Gravy with rice. You also have some really good Thai Wok Noodles with grilled vegetables. I gave them a five because they have personality and a crazy uniqueness to them that we found original. The Gang was an experience and the food was really good. They definately have there own edge and there clientele is also international like me. I am a foreigner but now a local resident. Its cool to be in this area and feel I am some where else. M. What a shame such a cool venue!! The decor is so awesome and service was great. But the food was just average. Tried the chicken satay, crab Rangoon, the noodle dish, the duck dish, & the hunan chicken...it was all average. The coconut shrimp was good though. Thought it was odd they took our unused silverware and put it back in basket reserve. Really should consider revamping menu.

A truly wonderful modern place. There is a great vibe and the food is not only excellent but also unique. I warmly recommend it!

We tried this place out with a big group of people and the Service was amazing! Not only was the service amazing but the food was great too! I've added several pics and definitely save room for dessert.

This place is AMAZING. From the second you walk in to the moment you loosen up your belt. The staff is very welcoming, accommodating, and friendly and the ambiance is nice and uniquely decorated.. but it doesn't end there. The food is hands down my favorite in Miami. The food is bursting with flavor and the dishes are presented beautifully. I have gone with vegetarian friends and they were also satisfied with the options and overwhelmed with the flavors. I have had the pleasure to visit The Gang various times (ordered pick-up, had a date, went in groups, etc) and each situation had high expectations that were exceeded. I highly recommend, pretty much everything on the menu, and guarantee that you will have an awesome experience.

The music is GREAT!..I am glad we decided to take the risk to eat here without any referal or reading any review. We will definitly come back and we will bring friends over. The staff is also SUPER friendly, Rita our waitress was THE BEST. I HIGHLY recomend you try it, you will not regret it.

Divine taste of Asian culinary, harmonizing sight, scent and taste accompanied by relaxing sound of shaker serving mixology classics or its endless variation specials, requests, surprises, 'fashions, sours, fizzes, shots, lemonades, mocktails... coffee strong and a lot more.

Asian fusion in Miami ? Answer : The Gang Miami. A normal Sat night that turned out to be one to remember , the word of the night was: DELICIOUS. Ambiance: absolutely charming and welcoming. Food: for appetizers we went for chicken dumplings and hangover soup (tom yum) that could kill any hangover ;). Entrees: Asian Honey Duck Leg cooked to perfection served with veggies and potatoes. Korean Beef grilled filet mignon very tender (the meat is marinated for 2 - 3 days ) and Malaysian Lamb Chops roasted served over a nice mix of vegetables on the wok, potatoes and fresh basil. As about our server Madalin he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you The Gang Miami u got us hooked. Best of luck !

The food was fantastic, a nice fusion between Thai and middle eastern. Had the Indian green curry which was rich, creamy and delightfully flavorful. The duck leg was very tasty and cooked well, truffle mashed potatoes well you just can't go wrong with that. The green papaya salad was the perfect starter, so fresh and crispy . The wine prices were great and next time I'd love to try the innovative cocktails. Only down fall was the green tea crab Rangoon, i just didn't taste anything "different" about it, but many other starter options to try. The service could use a little help, but the food came out quickly and one of the owners/ chef stopped by the table, made some great suggestions and was very friendly.

Amazing food and amazing service. The pork roll appetizers are delicious and the wok chicken entree is delicious as well. The apple pie and lava cake for dessert are amazing. Overall great dining experience and very hands on service. Definitely coming here again!

Tried The Gang Miami on a Friday night even though it had few reviews. I figured it was new so decided to give it a shot. Didn't regret it at all! From the decor, singer/songwriter acoustic performance, and of course the food, The Gang Miami delivered a great experience. Our party started off with the pork and shrimp wontons-absolutely tasty. The shrimp wontons had a little kick, offering the perfect balance. For our entrees we had the Koren beef which was perfectly tender, seasoned in a delicious sesame seed sauce over a bed of lettuce and grape tomatoes. Also had the chicken noodle bowl which was equally delicious. Will definitely be back!

We made last minute reservations. We were very impressed with food and service. The dumpling were favorite, a must try for sure.. All the food was good. The only thing disappointing was the apple Pie, it had raisins in it. I just don't like raisins. To top it off, there was a live guitarist playing and singing. Nice lively ambiance..

The Gang Miami Before to come here I red some articles online about this place, they call this place "The Good-The Bad-The Wonderfull" and I liked that.I also read that the Crab Rangoon are Good and Bad and I really said to myself that I should try this place because in the pictures look so cool and Nice. I'm here wright know and I just finished my Crab Rangoon and the Korean barbecue Beef style,I had such a nice food experience after I had this starter and main dish at this restaurant, you can say that everything is fresh and not pre-cooked. I would say that The Gang is Good and Wonderful!one

When you walk into this place you definitely feel like you're not in Miami. Interior design is amazing. Not to mention the best service ever. Every time I come here I'm greeted by the owner, and always extremely satisfied with my meals! We need more places like these in Miami.

We wanted to go somewhere new instead of our regular spots and we really enjoyed our experience at the Gang. The drinks were great, we had old fashions and the Lychee Martini, which was awesome. The tuna tartar was good but is not over the top excellent like at City Hall. The presentation of the food is delightful and the Korean Beef is awesome! A live singer also was intimate and the wait staff was very attentive, almost too much. We would definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking for creative food with great presentation. The only gripe, was the Miami Spice menu was more expensive than if you added up the individual items on the menu. Stick to the normal menu.

Yes! I just found my spot for the weekend. The staff, the people, the ambience, the food and the music is A plus. I enjoyed my time at the bar watching the bartender doing the drinks. The music that night was a mix of house with poo and I surely had a great time with the locals there. I want to come to try their full dinner as I just tried their appetizers. This is a great place to come as a double date or even celebrate your birthday. Is in the heart of midtown and nearby design district. Definitely coming back. I also want to thank the staff for being on top of everything. They make sure to keep the restaurant spotless.

2nd time here. My new favorite place. Matt greets you at the door and seats us promptly. Matthew makes the best cocktails and is a wizard with his creations. The pork rolls and mint sauce were a nice touch and the polenta and foie gras is my new favorite. Bogda, you have a great place! I love that you shop at the area markets to get the best and freshest ingredients. The food and service is great! I will be back soon.

A Good Gang! I want to join. lol. They should definitely create a cool social dining gang. I live in the neighborhood in the upper East-side and we have a great selection of eateries from my driveway all the way down to Edge-water, Design District, Midtown and Wynwood. This venue is one of the new ones to visit and re-visit. I have eaten there three times and had drinks and dessert on my fourth visit. What drew me to this place was the fact that they are advanced on the curve of a unique direction of what is happening overseas. the design: I just returned from living a few months in Bangkok, Thailand. I love Asian cuisines and Indian inspired dishes. So when I heard of this place and that there presentation to the menu and venue is out of the box for Miami, I had to give it a try. Then again, I still needed my Thai fix curry fix. What, I did like which was out of the norm was that I had Asian inspired dishes in a Non-Asian designed room. In Asia, there are a lot of new pop ups restaurants and pubs with there version of the hipster trend with venues designed with a urban European restoration twist. This venue is artistic and there designer definitely is not a local. Cool design, definitely has the Bangkok Euro vibe. the food: As a big eater I wish they had more items and choices but what they do have is very delicious. I have ordered practically the same things each time because, I am addicted to the HEALTHY Thai wraps, the chicken with secret peanut sauce, the Indian curry and rice and i totally loved mamaliga and foie gras. How do you post a picture here on yelp? I have a good one from the rice and curry. the service: No hostess stand. First time i walk in, some guy in a lab coat greets me and walks me to a table. It turns out he was a server. At first I was like huh? Its part of the concept where they all greet you and it is very relaxed. Oh yeah, they have a "full liquor bar". Check it out. Be Open and step out of the box.

The service and atmosphere are really good! however the food is beyond terrible. I can't express enough how bad the food was... And so over price. I paid a fixed menu of 1 starter, a main dish and a dessert for 75 per person. Not 1 of all the dishes ordered in my table were any good. I recommend only going for a drink. Do not go near the food....

The Gang was a lovely Sunday night dining experience. The manager Matt took care of us - we had Crab Rangoon, on point veggie spring rolls and homemade egg noodles as a main that were the best I've found in Miami. Don't leave without trying the gin, elderflower and mint cocktail! And the lava cake with mint chocolate chip ice cream...just wow. Great service and awesome food- we will be back soon!!

Came here with my fiancé our first night in Miami. Had a reservation at 8pm and there were not that many people there but the decor and style of the restaurant was very industrial and modern looking which we enjoyed. We got three appetizers and dessert. We got the hangover soup, shrimp dumplings soup, green tea crab rangoons, and the lava cake. All of it was amazing and good portion size, my favorite being the soups! I would defiantly recommend this to friends and locals who live in the area that have not tried it yet. Hope yall are more busy next time I come in town because yall deserve it!!

  • Tomas L.

I have already been to this place twice and it is definitely a gang you will want to join. The scenery is pretty authentic as servers play a doctor role / food experts and advice you what to order. Then, there are several ornamenting items that add a genuine vibe and feeling to the place. Definitely recommend it to others. Miami lacked this type of restaurant where you can order asian infusion at a reasonable price. I have tried the chicken spring rolls and they were pretty tasty. For a main plate I have tried the chicken noodles, which is a must have item if you go here and the Malaysian lamb chops. The bad side is that the dessert menu did not meet the expectations as the rest of the food was pretty good. A 4 star recommendation to others!

  • Nicolette M.

This place is super cute and open. The waiters are dress as doctors, which at first I found weird then pretty neat. We started with a tuna tartar which was amazing and came with pumpernickel bread. Perfect touch. pork spring rolls which were ok. crab Rangoon which were crispy and creamy, yummy. foie gras with creamy grits. Seconds please! Tempura shrimp was sesame crust. I loved it and can't wait to try this at home. Tuna miso ginger salad. Very good but you need to share and there's not that much tuna. Entrees Have to recommend the duck leg entree. WOW cooked perfectly. The asparagus and mashed potatoes that accompany it were a perfect combo to the dish. Dessert lava cake. I'm a chocolate snob so I found it a bit over cooked. However the mint ice cream that came it delicious! Black rice pudding. For my Spanish people it will not be sweet enough for you. For me it was interesting because it had chocolate. Conclusion Great start to what I hope to be a fixture in wynwood. I would love to see the menu grow or change with season or maybe include some specials. With desserts i would like to see more flare of the fusion. Will definitely be back!

  • Blake W.

Not a gang I'd ever want to join. Food was okay. Some things (crab Rangoon and noodle dishes) good and other items (papaya salad - wilted, tuna-didn't seem fresh) not. Servers were total amateur acts - who talked smacked about and to each other in front of us at our table. Manager should probably cut back on the speed (or get some?) - seems like a train wreck who manages through put downs and pressure. Overall, a circus. Would've rather been across the street at Gigi ... Golden Corral would've been an upgrade too. Even Miami hipsters will eat this place up- then spit it out.

I was here last night on a double date and my experience was beyond expectations... As soon as i walked in the great atmosphere took over me. From the creative decorations to the amazing staff. Matt, the manager, was incredibly helpful and everything he suggested from the menu was simply great. The food has so many different ingredients which causes a kind of flavor explosion in your mouth. I highly recommend the lamb chops and the Korean beef which is marinated for 2 days... And of course the truffle mash potatoes... And for dessert do not leave out the chocolate lava cake with a scoop of mint ice cream (mouth orgasm). Awesome place to enjoy with friends, or go on a date. I would give it more stars if i could!

The ambiance has a great vibe, great energy, and amazing cuisine! I loved the whole look and feel of the place. It is different from any other restaurant in Midtown, that's for sure. It is unique from the handcrafted tables to the loft-backyard wall stylings. Asian Fusion cuisine, indeed! This is the real deal fusion right here. I am totally impressed: I had the Foie Gras as an appetizer = LIFE. The grits were perfectly creamy and the foie gras was perfectly cooked. My friend ordered the Papaya Salad. What a cool concept! Very refreshing, I am definitely ordering this on my next visit. We also ordered the spring rolls which had a delicious homemade dipping sauce. Crunchy and savory! Lastly I ordered the honey duck. OMG.. I am a connoisseur in duck cuisine and it takes a lot to impress me. The duck meat fell right off the bone, had a crisp touch and the seasoning was immaculate. It is served with mash potatoes and awesome sauces. Try their cocktails too: I recommend the Lychee martini and the "Gang"Lini which is their version of a Bellini. The service was great too. It was a random yet fun surprise to see servers dressed as doctors. You guys... this is probably the best review I have written in a while. I just wish this place was open for lunch too! Hopefully that will come true! I HIGHLY recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. It is a gem in this town. I cannot wait to go back and bring all my friends.

Horrible experience! Went with a colleague with a shellfish allergy and their recommendation was to not eat! What type of service is this?? They told Us they cannot control their kitchen of contamination! What is this??? And to finish he said "maybe this is not the restaurant for you!" This restaurant is not worth to even be opened...no service AT ALL!

  • Daniel S.

Very tasty and original! Just had a couple of brand new vegetarian super good plates!

  • Johnny B.

The place has potential, but the staff has absolutely no idea what they're doing. Had to BEG for water. Then plates. Then silverware. Then water again...and again. Food is original, but when discussing flavor, the menu over-promises. We had about 4 appetizers and 3 entrees, and cocktails. The cocktails were best. Decoration and environment is out of this world but we ran out of patience by the time dessert came. Not sure if would visit again once they get their act together.

  • Jessica C.

I'm so beyond terrified by this place. The staff are forced to wear ridiculous lab coats and you can tell by their face they don't enjoy wearing these ridiculous cheesy uniforms. The decor looks like something gimmicky derived from a travel ad for wynwood. We ordered their chicken satay and crab rangoon. not only did it take FOREveR, it tasted like they forgot to bring me my food and nuked it in the microwave. Honestly, If I wanted knock off Asian, I would have gone to China grill.

Good, fresh, tasteful Asian-fusion food, hip music, trendy decode, and romantic lighting, this restaurant is definitely the next Miami success story. Also! The large continuous windows give you an outdoors sensation, so you will not miss outdoor seating ;-)

Came here with very large group, the staff was very accommodating and even with such a large party gave very good service. The ambiance is great and love the decor , was taken aback a little when I walked in and saw waiters wearing lab coats and wearing stethoscopes. the washing machine bar is great I wonder if they really work lol. The food was good but not mind blowing maybe it was because I had already eaten prior to arriving. I Didn't like the dumplings tooo much they were too fishy for my taste but my friend loved them. The veggie spring rolls was my favorite. Definitely gotta come back but on empty stomach.

On a late Friday night some girlfriends and I stumbled on this place and immediately feel in love. 8 of us were celebrating 2 birthdays that evening and what a great way for us to have shared time here. -First, the decor is quirky and soooooo darn cool. The tile walls, various table top heights, interesting art and installations hanging around. There is a counter made of dryers. Yes dryers. The cups that you usually get water at the beginning of the meal were tin cups that remind you of your camping years. The charm of this place was absolutely great. Every time you turned around there was a new design element you didn't notice before. -Second, the MUSIC!!! OMG... Who ever curated the playlist alone is worth 5stars. We almost forgot we were at a restaurant and we almost turned it into disco karaoke. Song after song we all shimmied and danced in our seats. All before the cocktails. -Third, the cocktails... Hands down the lychee martini was an absolute favorite. -Fourth, the food... Warning: Be very careful how you order the appetizers. Not sure if we underestimated the sizing of plates but some of the appetizers (salad/ chicken satay) are meant to be shared. They were big but goodness gracious they were delicious. Hands down the presentation and plate setting of each dish was one of the evening highlights. The duck, salmon, pork chop all came on a slate tile but my description won't do it justice. The soup came in an incredibly beautiful soup bowl. I had the lamb chops and they were juicy, tender yet soooo full of flavor. Everyone enjoyed their meals. -Lastly, the service. Like I said, we stumbled on the place not knowing what to expect. We didn't make a fuss over the 2 birthdays. All we did was make a toast at the beginning of our meal... By the time we were done our meal our servers brought out 2 delicious cheesecakes with candles and lead us into a birthday song for us to sing to our friends. I mean we didn't ask them too or anything but something as generous as that action is worth our patronage. The paid attention without being intrusive. If ever you make it to the area, please stop by. You honestly will not be disappointed.

I would give zero stars if it was possible. WORST experience at a restaurant EVER. WORST restaurant EVER. The owner of the restaurant is the rudest person I've ever met. I have a shellfish allergy and notified them, as I do in every restaurant I go to, and the owner responded by giving me a bad face, attitude, and scoffed at me. Instead of being professional and letting me know that the kitchen would be careful, he told me it was better if I didn't eat at his restaurant, started a fight with my coworkers and I saying he can't ask his kitchen to do that, and said this restaurant was not for us and told us to leave... Never in my life have I been treated in such a way especially as a result of saying I have a food allergy, which is something that is out of my control. You are making a big mistake by going to this restaurant. The worst, terrible, and rude people.

Excellent food. Cool restaurant decor and atmosphere. Service was good. The food left me wanting to go back! The arugula salad with tuna was phenomenal. Healthy, light and so tasty. The beef tartare was one of the better Ones in Miami. Next time will be trying the tuna one. Had the halibut as a main course and it was great. The truffle sauce was delicious. I would have been fine with just the first two appetizers but luckily the entrees are not huge so it was okay. Had the berry mojito as a drink. Was decent. Was hoping it was spicy since it had chili in it but no luck there. Will definitely be going back.

The good: - The service was pretty good, one of the managers (perhaps he might have been the owner) upon learning that my girlfriend was vegan offered to make a vegan noodle+veggie soup (and only charged 6.00 ); considering they don't promote themselves as being a vegan/vegetarian/allergen friendly restaurant, I thought this was cool. - The food tasted good, the spring rolls were excellent, the papaya salad wasn't a thai caliber dish but was still pretty good and our entrees were tasty...the seafood noodle dish had good flavor. - The ambiance and overall feel/decor of the place is pretty cool, warm and inviting. - And like Gigi's they're open till "late" (5a or so). The opportunities for improvement: - I feel that with the growing number of vegans/vegetarians, and just QFC (Quality Food Conscience) people in general, restaurants need to add a few more items to their menu to - not just to be extra successful - but to do right by every customer and be able to deliver a nice range of options to every single person that walks thru the door. (Again, to this I still commend them for their efforts, willingness , and delivery of a vegan dish upon request.) - While my noodle seafood dish was very tasty, the quality of the seafood was incredibly poor. At $20.00/plate, please include more than just a few small pieces of calamari, a few small pieces of imitation crab, maybe 2 small mussels, and I believe I may have had 2-3 tiny (chewy) scallops. I don't mind paying $20.00/plate, but please offer up a generous amount (or at least generous size or high quality) of seafood. This was definitely the major disappointment of the evening. I always give places a 2nd, 3rd chance, so I know I'll be back. Looking forward to seeing them improve on those opportunities.

We were there for the New Time Happy Hour for the first time. The food they had was mainly shredded radish and whatever the appetizers they were passing were not enough. People had to make a long line to get in to this place and once they were in, they ran out of food. The drinks were in a little shot glass and was only one kind. We wanted to like this place but I don't think we would try again. Even it was a free event but poorly organized and not enough food, drinks, and space.

Went there about a month ago. The manager was apologizing the whole time before we even ate, like he knew the food was horrible. This is not a gang in joining, it's more like The Gag. Sorry..

I was browsing the neighborhood on yelp and by chance had a really enjoyable meal here, the ambiance was really nice-exposed ducts, subway tile, sexy lighting and great vibe,s playing at all times. service was accommodating, I ordered an ice t and while they don't serve it, they immediately brewed one up fresh for me. Chic satay was moist, strawberry arugula salad was on point, and the chicken soup was good too. Give this place a shot, I'm happy I did.

For the price, the food isn't anything special and portions are very small. Don't get me wrong, the food is well-prepared, service is good. I love the interior, and the restaurant is very clean. However, Miami is so saturated with Asian fusion restaurants that this didn't really stand out for me. I would suggest a different restaurant if you're looking for Asian fusion.

Stopped in for some appetizers and drinks and it was the perfect bite. It was empty when we came in at 8 so that worried us at first but I believe they are trying to be more of a late night spot, staying open til 5 am, which is awesome!! This area needs more good food late night. We had the papaya salad and the green tea crab rangoons. The papaya salad was chilled in a spicy peanut dressing and was enough for 2 people. It was light, refreshing and the perfect amount of spicy. Next we had the rangoons which were hot and crispy. Inside the crab with green tea cream cheese was perfect, not too heavy which can be the case sometimes. We will be back for dinner!

Went with fiance on a saturday night. Place is trendy and cool. However, they do not have their act together yet. Service is spotty - dirty water glasses, main course took almost an hour, and our server did not offer us another drink that whole time. the food- mediocre. for appetizers we had the vietnamese pork rolls and green tea crab rangoon, these were decent. my main course - korean beef was aweful, no taste whatsoever. my fiance had indian chicken gravy - it was ok but nothing special. we skipped dessert, by then we had given up... NOT coming back. wish i had gone to eat across the street.

Simple menu, amazing food and delicious cocktails! Very cool atmosphere and unique design. Waiters are spot on with a service as well. I will definitely be recommending this spot to my friends.

I read a bad Miami New Times review about this place, however we were invited to dinner here for a friends birthday. The decor is quirky yet cool. Still not sure about the laundry machines and it was a little cold so bring a jacket. They had good prices on wine so we bought a bottle and started ordering appetizers for the table. Before I go forward I have to tell you that the service was not very good. There were big groups dining there that night but the place was not packed so that worried me. Everything was slow, from the waiters to the food. Speaking to our waiter I found out that no one working at the restaurant was a local. They were all from Eastern Europe. So there was a little bit of disconnect as to what you would expect service to be like. That being said, the food was AWESOME! I don't like foi grois but theirs was mixed in with some grits-like porridge . Delicious. We also had a pork spring roll type of dish which had a sauce that was so good. I could've dipped anything into it. I had the duck for my entree and it was the best duck I've ever had. I wiped the plate clean. The only "eh"'part of our meal was the cheesecake dessert. Everything else was sooooo good that we will definitely be back. I'm glad I went even after reading that bad review.

Went at 8 on a Saturday night. Table for two through open table and server stuck is in a random spot thought the place was 3/4 empty. When we asked to change, he was very surly and told us that the other tables were either reserved or dirty. As we turned to walk out, he relented. Different server took care of us and was not a huge prick, so that was nice. Cocktails were poor (manhattan was just whiskey). Only three wines by the glass, five total beers with nothing Asian - which is surprising. Food was creative, well priced and very good - the reason for the stars. Place stayed 3/4 empty so I guess the other rezzies didn't show. Won't be back anytime soon. Place across the street looked packed.

I'll say the best fusion food I have ever had in Miami. Love the prawns, lamb chops and the Vietnamese pork rolls ... AMAZING

Food was delicious. Best spring rolls I've ever eaten. Soft, and tremendous quality. The service was "ok". With so many waiters and staff you would think it would be faster but everyone was really nice.

The Gang ganged up on us to ruin our night. We were party of six for Saturday dinner. The ambiance was fine- it felt like I was in a Thai restaurant somewhere in Germany. Ok that's cool I guess, but might have been trying a bit hard to be cool. Food was hit and miss... (for the genre, Khong River would be a better choice). But the service is what killed us. The kitchen is in view of the tables, and the servers and management were constantly bickering. Like, literally every meal that was being served generated an argument between the manager and the servers, the cook and the servers, or the servers and each other. I felt like a kid in the room where mom is slapping dad. That about sums it up. Do yourself a favor: Don't get banged by this gang.

Since, I am one of the first people that moved into once the dangerous neighborhood of Wynwood back in 2003,way before the gentrification started, I love witnessing the change and discovering every single venue that pops up in my neighborhood. Thus, I must be one of the first people that ever walked into to The Gang so this review is long due. The first time I went there I loved the food and the space so much that I took a big party of mine the next week. They all loved it too and soon it became a hang out place for my circle of friends. So much that one of my friends recently became the manager. If you go there, make sure to say hi to the manager, he will take care of you. The space is really cool. The owners, a chic husband and wife team from Romania, are quite the design oriented people that you expect to find in the neighborhood. They did an excellent job designing the space and decorating it. His wife recently told me her husband designed every detail which impressed me very much as I had always thought it was a work of a designer. The design is mainly industrial and somewhat minimal. However, at the same time, due to some of the finer details they added, it is warm enough to create an ambiance that can both serve as relaxing and romantic. Unlike, their neighbor restaurant Gigi, you could actually take a date to The Gang. At the weekends, they have live music, and late at night, it turns into a lounge with some good music. The food at The Gang is really filling so recommend not to order so much especially if you are not a big eater. Most everything is delicious. I suggest tasting the shrimp and the duck. And if you need to modify something they do not make a big deal. They try to please you and the owner is always there making sure everyone is taken care of. He always stops at each table to make sure everyone is happy. Overall, I recommend this place because for me it has become this down to earth neighborhood restaurant where they know my name, yet it is fancy and fun enough to take my guests.. Come over to be part of our Gang.

Sadly, I have one word for this place and it's awkwardddd. I had high expectations from the slew of good reviews but omg, what a let down. The food was a little better than mediocre. I can say the veggies were fresh and the noddles were well prepared but it was all just meh. I had the Samuiwok, btw. womp womp womp. I could've dealt with that if our experience with one of the waiters hadn't been so unbelievably unprofessional.. like wow, I'm still processing. The waiter pressed us to place our order. He was annoyed to split the bill (we were a party of 5) and then proceeded to hover over us like a UFO (that joke was courtesy of my BF) as we tipped. I wouldn't go back. Honestly, there's so many fantastic restaurants in Miami, there's no reason to deal with entitlement from any one place. Sorry The Gang, you just ain't that great. Oh! PS: they charge for tap water. ~ No thanks.

I came here with a couple friends a few weeks ago before going out to grab a light dinner. Since we didn't want a heavy meal, we ended up sampling a bunch of the appetizers - crab rangoon, spring rolls, pork rolls, and shrimp dumplings. The dumplings by far were my favorite -the dough was pillow light and they really just melted in your mouth - but really you can't go wrong with any of these choices. While these were all pretty traditional offerings in asian restaurants I was very pleased to see the crab rangoon come with a unique sauce which was delicious. We also shared the Korean Beef. While the beef was excellent the veggies that came with it were a little flavorless. If you order this I would definitely grab a side a la carte. The place is really nicely decorated inside - that sort of industrial mixed with organic style that seems to be popular nowadays. The service was very good; the owner even came by to have a chat with us and see how we were enjoying our food. A really nice experience - I will definitely be back!

The atmosphere, decor and service here were great! Very stylish and mid-town miami feel. Even the small things stand out - like every chair in the restaurant is different, and the base of the bar is old school washing machines - very creative. I'm giving it two stars though because the food left a lot to be desired. The duck confit leg was good. However, I had the rack of lamb which was disappointing. It is described as Moroccan style, which I would expect to be heavy on the black pepper, cumin, coriander, cayenne and perhaps clove. The dish had none of that, it was just covered in garlic. Both of our dishes were prepared with the same side of mashed potatoes, two steamed asparagus sticks and two broccoli pieces that again had little to no flavor or spices other than ground basil. We had high hopes, and maybe we just ordered the wrong things, but for an Asian fusion restaurant the flavored were absent.
