Oh, Pollo Tropical... my stomach burns, and not with the passionate enthusiasm I have for your chicken. I came to your restaurant today, and it felt like stepping into the twilght zone. There were flies around the restaurant, and you botched up my order. I wanted a trio order, but only got a duo of chicken and ribs. The ribs were tender, and the barbecue sauce was dreamy, I must admit, but I just wish the chicken was tender and juicier. It was a bit dry. The tables were also tad bit dirty and looked they were just touched up by a dirty rag. Now, my stomach feels a bit queasy. Ughhh.. not sure if I will come here again.

I was never a big fan of Pollo Tropical, but after coming to this location I completely changed my mind. I usually order one of their tropichops which are always very good. The portions are pretty big so I usually get the large and share that. I always go through the drive-thru so I can't tell you what the diner is actually like, but as soon as I do I'll post a review. :)

I have been to many pollo tropicals but they don't compare to the one on 8 st, they make the food with such a Caribbean latino flavor. The chicken there is delicious and the beans too. The employees there are very nice with the costumers and are very fast in serving your food. Barbara is a women who has been working there for 10 years already and she is the best shes very sweet and always has a smile on her face. I highly recommend the pollo tropical on 8 st you won't regret it, enjoy your food.

I decided to write to Pollo Tropical's headquarters. I was immediately contacted by the manager and she apologized for the incident. She offered a free whole chicken at no charge as an incentive. My husband passed by and the manager and assistant manager were friendly and helpful. We received a delicious, succulent whole chicken fresh from the grill. We appreciate that Pollo Tropical values their customers! : )

Mind blown! First time here and it won't be my last! Yuuummm! I was told to order chicken chop chop mixed with the garlic sauce. It's deeeeelicious!

come through the drive thru quite often for some healthy eats. really, between this location and the one close to my job - this franchise gets about half my available meal money.. lol

Lester really deserves to be employee of the month. Upon approaching the register, he noticed that I sighed, disappointed that my phone battery was low. He immediately offered me his phone charger. After sitting at my table. He walked over and asked if the sunlight was bothering me. I hadn't noticed it actually was a bit bright. So he drew the shades. Aside from excellent customer service provided by Lester, my tropichop was delicious! Not to mention, the location was impeccable. It is experiences like this that make customers want to continue coming back again and again! Kudos to Lester and Pollo Tropical!

I love this place but I rate it 3 stars for one reason. Inconsistency. One day their food is amazing and the next, it's terrible. I usually have the quarter chicken with two sides. Ive tried almost everything on the menu and everything is generally well done. it's a good fast food choice when your in a hurry.
