In comparison to other locations, this one is not half bad. As always, synonymous with other locations I frequented in the past, they forgot The sauce is I asked for things and not make my order correctly. I hallways order the same thing: Tropichop with half lettuce/half brown rice, chicken, corn, sautéed onions and peppers, and black beans on the side. For some reason, no location can ever get it right inside or through the drive thru no matter if I speak in English or Spanish. As if they were not paying attention... At least this location, got it semi correct. Is this the price to pay for half decent Hispanic food??

This is my 1st time checking in because I'm fed up with this place and their poor customer service in the drive thru and quality of food. Besides getting my order wrong several times, drive thru essentials such as napkins and utensils are non existent. Today I was excited to try their need tangy pineapple chicken wrap, I just paid 6$ for tortilla with cheese !!!!

I'm not from Miami, so I don't have access to this place, but it is a wonderful establishment. I wish they had more establishments across America, because it was wonderful! If you're a visitor/tourist like me, take the time to grab a bite here. It's absolutely wonderful

This is my go to spot for a quick, healthy and affordable meal. I've tried just about everything in the menu but my go tos are the small TropiChop or the 1/4 chicken platter with rice and beans.. At times the beans are a bit too watery but try are always tasty.. I would avoid the wraps as they are small and the French fries are meh.. Stick to the healthier fare and you'll be alright Guava BBQ ain't too shabby either I'm here 2-3 times a week

I mean, I'm not a big fan of Pollo Tropical but I go sometimes to get myself dinner before I go into work. The line for the drive thru can be long depending on the time. I always get the Chicken Caesar wrap. I have also gotten their chopped dish which is the same as Chicken Kitchen and 3 Chefs and a Kitchen. If you like this place then great, but this isn't my usual meal and favorite place to go to. It's a place I go to if I'm on budget and hungry.

Okay, this is by far the worst Pollo Tropical location I have ever been to. Let's start with my order. I went with the chicken tropichop combo. You get a huge serving of rice and beans, but there were only 5 bite sized pieces of chicken on top. For this being a chicken place after all, you would expect that they'd give you enough to at least taste it. I went back to the counter to ask if they had given me so little because the kitchen ran out of chicken (crazier things have happened!) but the lady told me that it's one cup's worth of chicken...She then proceeds to show me what they measure the "cup" with-- an ice cream scooper. I'm no Einstein, but an ice-cream scoop without overflowing chicken is definitely less than a cup in most countries. Regardless, she gave me 2 more little pieces. So sweet! Now, the kicker... I proceed to eat my meal and as I'm chewing-- CRUNCH! I expected to find the foreign object in my mouth to be a runaway chicken bone, but no-- I found 2 black rocks!!! Apparently, they're not washing their beans here, kids. I was so grossed out. This Pollo Tropical will not be seeing me again. EVER.

great food...1/4 chicken ('dark' is better for a moist selection) with rice and beans..great price. Sauces are favorable... I really LOVE the cilantro garlic. Restuarant is clean, service quick....except at the dinner RUSH....when it seems everybody ( & I mean everybody) is in line at the drive-thru....must because everyone likes the food. For those that don't like the food/service/whatever....but keep coming back...do those of us that love this place a favor & go some place else and stop clogging up the lines. Good food. Quality product. Great service. Repeat customers=Excellant business model.

According to a lot of people I know, this is the best Pollo Tropical in the Kendall area and pretty much everywhere. I can testify to this seeing that there is someone always constantly cleaning the place, re-filling the salsa bar and has more staff than any other location. Its drive thru is always packed and the place never seems empty especially during lunch and dinner. They have raised their prices a bit which was a little disappointing but they keep serving the same quality of food and the same quantity.

I love PT but this one is a mess. Don't go thru the drive thru. My BF and I were totally harassed by some jerk taking orders. They never get the sauces or the sides right and when I ask them for stuff, the kids they have working there act like I am bothering them. They should definitely work on being polite and realizing it's there job.

Worst pollo tropical ever! Pollo tropical is my favorite place for chicken but this one is horrible! The rice taste like a salt lick, my order of waffle fries had 4 fries, drive through has never gotten my order right so I started getting down and the employees are not pleasant to deal with very rude and make just as many mistakes as the drive through but are rude about the mistakes they make. Only good thing is the place is clean but a clean place with bad service and a wrong order everytime is not worth it. So from the 20 something times ive been there ive had maybe one ok experience, my bf and other friends have had the same problems. Unfortunately this one is the closest one to my home and even then I've caught myself driving out of my way to eat at a different pollo tropical. I don't suggest any one go there and if you do make sure to check your order carefully

I really like this Kendall Pollo Tropical because it's huge and I mean really big inside.I ordered pollo with Waffle Fries and Cornbread and it was delicious like always.I will be delighted to always come back

Wasn't as good as I hoped. Got the 1/4 dark with rice and black beans. Chicken was greasy.

I've been coming here for maybe 10 years. It's still my favorite Pollo to go to. It's clean. It's good food. Always cheap. Only problem is that, since it's good, the drive thru stays busy. When I go visit my mom like a mile from this Pollo, I usually make a stop for a quick quarter chicken value meal with rice and beans. Can't go wrong!

Pollo Tropical is where I go for a good, quick bite to eat. Food is given in abundance and tastes delicious. The fried yuca is my fave paired with the cilantro mayo that u can find at the sauce bar. I always get the Mojo roast pork because it's so flavorful. Fast food that is authentic eats.

Always a good solution for a quick bite to eat. Chicken is never dry and service is always great.

  • Pachuco K.

Food is cheap that's about it for me. Chicken needs more flavor, I can't seem to eat it unless I dredge it with salsa !!!! There are a lot of better places to go then here. La Granja hands down for one. They have a special for 3.95 1/4 chicken w rice N beans. Actually and sadly ElPollo Supremo was better than this place, it's now closed down. I used to eat at the one in Doral. I can't recommend this place, to any one especially out of towners. Sorry.

One of the better Pollo Tropicals I have been to. Get here before 12-1230 the latest if you wanna avoid long lines cause it gets packed for the lunch rush. The staff is friendly and the food comes out fresh and hot. The inside is kept clean and drive thru is quick.

Pollo Tropical is one of the Top Five places I miss in Miami. Vegans can gorge themselves worry free on the side items menu alone. Plantains (both sweet & crispy) , yuca (boiled or fried) and various types of rice and vegetables. Can't say enough about the Guava Pork BBQ sandwich. Its GUAVA & PORK!!!! A winning combination, hands down. The Caribbean chicken soup is amazing, with a pumpkin base & chunks of plantains and chicken! My family thinks I come home just to see them, and the truth is that's only half the reason.

  • Samantha F.

Compared to other Pollo Tropical, this is most cleaned locations. The service is pretty good--I can't complain because I didn't have any issues with anyone there or had anything related to bad service. It has a nice location between local stores and near a school with hungry students.

  • Sadequa L.

When ever i go to PT, I order the Chicken Tropi-chop w/ the beans on the side (it reminds me too much of dirty water and pebbles). The chicken is sometimes a tad bit salty, dry, and even non-existent. You have to order the Large serving in order to get a good helping of chicken. The only thing that makes the food worth while is the Guava BBQ Sauce. *Depending on what time of day or night you go, the food is actually perfect. I'm not too fond of those inconsistent establishments though, but when you're hungry, you settle.*

Well we all have those days when we don't feel like cooking, today was one of them. Came here to order food for the family, the service was great ... for the first time the cashiers/cook were actually lol in a good mood and proactive they're usually moping around arguing. The food was pretty good it didn't take them that long to get it ready and it came out fresh which was good. Good job Pollo Tropical :D just one of those days.

I love Pollo. This specific location was my first job as a senior in '06. We used to run out of chicken with the previous management, but they have stepped it up. Unfortunately, you're looking at some pretty crazy wait times no matter at what time you go. I've been late to work from lunch several times thanks to them. Still love Pollo and their delicious Lila's Tres Leches :)

By far - the freshest I've been to! I guess (looking to the right of my screen and the minimal stars) I am alone on this one. I've been to this location 2x and have always had an excellent meal.
