Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

This location is not as good as the location on Lincoln street. The pizza was good quality however, the service was below quality. I was cut a couple times while waiting in line. The cashier did not seem to have any interest and was very distracted. I would only recommend this location if you have the patience to wait for their delicious pizza.

I don't often give 5 stars but this Pizzeria Rustica is excellent in so many categories. The quality of the pizza is superb. I had a arugula salad pizza, which had delicious fresh ingredients. The place is very clean and pleasant. The interior is spacious, but the highlight is the breezy outside seating area.

Tastes like a high quality frozen pizza. Gets the job done. Don't expect anything fancy. I ordered plain cheese and really enjoyed the crispy dough. However the cheese tasted like store bought shredded mozzarella-nothing special. Sauce wasn't sweet enough for my liking but you might be into it. Give it a shot!

This Pizza Rustica on Brickell used to be great I don't know what is up with it now! The quality of the ingredients are below anything I ever ate, it doesn't taste like anything. Their delivery its the worse ever! Before it was for free the food was always in my house hot and delicious!! Last two times I ordered I had problems with the delivery. It was late and just a mess. Never ordering from this pizzeria again.

GREAT PIZZA. OK service. Take the tomatoes(?) out of your Caesar Salad, put in croutons and you would have an awesome Caesar Salad!

I mean, really guys. With the negative reviews. What're we talking about here? Look, as far as I see it, here's the problem: angrily comparing this locale to the one at the beach like that one is a freaking godsend is ludicrous. Both are exactly the same. You're just being blinded by Lincoln's flashing lights. BOTH ARE EXACTLY THE SAME. Pizza Rustica is not bad pizza. Is it the best? No, not at all, but is it there when you need it? YES. Are those very low standards? YES. Are you all kidding yourselves by expecting the Philip Rhee of pizzas (brownie points if you get that reference, none deducted for using IMDB) from a place that is clearly designed for convenience? YES. I mean, would you get mad at a dive bar if you order a shot of vodka, only to get served Skol and not Belvedere or whatever else it is you're overpaying for? And rest assured, when it comes to vodka, you are overpaying. It's a neutral spirit. Why anyone would spend sixty on a bottle when you can get one for ten is beyond me. But I digress. The point is that the Pizza Rustica at 500 Brickell offers a solid selection of solid pies that are ready to go when you need them. Like the friend who bails you out of jail, it's always there. If you live in the building or if you're in walking distance, it's right there. IT'S RIGHT THERE. Again, low standards? Maybe, but while you're busy looking for another pizza place that'll feed you in ten minutes or less, I'm already on my fourth slice.

We live Downtown and order delivery from here 1-2xs a week. The margarita pizza, the BBQ panini and the desserts are amazing. We are never had a bad meal and the deliveries are always on time and nice.

Really good pizza! Great size and any combos of toppings. There Is also a cute outdoor seating area. Open late and perfect location downtown!

I have been a fan of Pizza Rustica since 1996 when they were exclusively on South Beach and only had one location. So when they made their way over to the main land I was thrilled. For the most part I enjoyed their other locations. Then I moved to Brickell... This location is such a blemish on the Pizza Rustica brand. They never have the kind I like, their customer service is non existent and the quality of the food is sub par. I have been so disappointed that I've stopped ordering from this location all together and only get Pizza Rustica when I'm on the Beach.

I love the new manager Steve! This place used to be mediocre but they've really turned it around. The pizza is fresh and the inside is redecorated. I'll be here every week:)

Pizza Rustica is my favorite neighborhood restaurant! I have been a regular for years. It gets five stars from me for its thin crust pizza with generous toppings. Love, love, love this place! Authentic Italian pizza, good food! The staff is always friendly and lively.

Just ordered pizza rustica Brickell to our home for the first time. Used to live on south beach and am familiar with the pizza they serve there. The pizzas we received may have been the worst pizza I have EVER had and I am not picky with pizza. We ordered 3 different slices and a personal size and all were horrible and doughy with bad flavor. We even tried to throw it in the oven to make it better, but it didn't help. Ready made pizzas from the grocery store are MUCH better than what we just tried to eat. Had a bowl of cereal instead. Disappointing.

Pizza Rustica is a pretty good pizza spot if you have just crushed the Miami night and need a place to save your soul. This pizza place is definitely a great place to find redemption. Truthfully, the pizza here is so so. Its not the best but not the worst. Its definitely palatable. The pizza here is already premade so they have some choices behind a sneeze guard for you to choose from. Pick your pizza and they heat it up for you and give it to you - something pretty neat is that they do not give you "slice" but rather a "rectangle" of pizza which is huge. I had a hard time taking down the behemoth pizza. Although the pizza is so so the people that run it are great! They are Cuban and super super nice! Ask them where to go for night time activities and she will give you a wealth of information! Protip: Ask for the pizza to go, grab a beer, and eat outside their shop! Protip #2: Ask the owners where a good place to go for night time festivities - they will not do you wrong.

We ordered the meatball pie. The crust was really heavy and undercooked and it made it really chewy. The vegetable toppings were undercooked, so imagine small pieces of red and green pepper and raw onion on top of your pie. This was a waste of $24. Will not order from here again.

The pizza is delicious!! We had the Hawaii and Margherita. Perfect amount of sauce and the crust was amazing!

I walked into your establishment at 10:23p on Wednesday. (For the first time) and I gotta say the gentlemen working the front has horrible customer service. He seemed irritated when I walked through the door. Irritated when I ordered something esle on top of my slice of pizza and none the less irritated when another client walked through the door after me. I definitely would not like to come back to a service like that! Sucks! The pizza was good.

I have to start this by saying this place couldve gotten 5 stars if it wasn't for the horrible service I received. I just recently moved to the area and I figured I should start hitting local restaurants. The place has a good location and looks relatively clean. I approached the cashier and asked her for suggestions... I did not get a respond from her, i asked again and I was ignored for a second time so I decided to just order a Hawaiian pizza and took the opportunity to tell her "hey maybe you should smile more often" and she replied "i dont have to smile for you or anyone in this place" I was shocked and tried to give her a second to maybe fix her attitude (we all have bad days and snap at the smallest thing) but boy was I wrong her attitude just got worse she just kept ignoring me and just exhibiting an awful attitude. Finally, after waiting for about 15 min I asked her about my pizza and her name. Her name was Tania and my pizza had been waiting for her to pick it up from the back counter for about 5 (she was not planning to give me my pizza if I didn't ask for it). In the bright side the Pizza was quite delicious.... It was tasty toasted and not greasy. Overall the experience with the service (Tania) was horrible but the pizza was good. While the pizza was good, i would not come back to this place due to the horrible customer service...(after all it is Miami there ton of good restaurants in every corner, no need to be insulted as paying customer)

For me Pizza Rustica is the best in the area for Pizza it's like $16 for an extra large pepperoni. Their salads for $6.95 are enough for like 4 people. Plus the do a wide variety of other pizzas. I ordered delivery ahead of time and they delivered at the exact time I asked them to.

  • Andrew V.

What's better than coming home from the bar and having a pizza joint connected to your building? Nothing. Pizza Rustica is great for when you're on your way home, or need a quick lunch/dinner or hey, you just want some pizza. Prices run around $5.00 for a slice. They run the occasionally wine special for those of you who feel the need to be fancy and drink wine with your pizza. Personally, I choose the Mt. Dew, always a classic. The slices are a good size so no need for two, unless you're really hungry or um, me. It's fast. The service is friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It's pretty great.

Being from South Beach and having the amazing first locations within steps from my house, I love Pizza Rustica, and couldn't have been happier when Brickell location opened right across from my office. I order for our office Pizza for lunch at least once a month, and have given Pizza Rustica many chances, however the pizza/final product is not the same. Not even close to the South Beach locations. For instance their chicken Florentine pizza in SoBe has a halapeno infused sauce they drizzle on top, super delicious and not "incredible hot to be able to eat", while in the Brickell location they slice raw jalapenos with seeds and everything!! Hello, final product doesn't get any more different than that. Also they will mess up your order, put a stamp on it, no matter what, and take forever to deliver as well!

  • Amanda B.

Pizza Rustica is a must when you are in Miami, but I would recommend going to the original on Miami Beach if you have time. The Brickell location definitely has a great slice to go, but the custom made options on Miami Beach allow you do to things like a wheat crust with goat cheese! My only complaint is I've yet to be to any Pizza Rustica location and get friendly service. They generally ignore you from the moment you walk in to the second you leave...but it's $5 for a slice of pizza bigger than your head and I've never had a bad piece.

I'm not from NYC, (hell, I like Papa Ginos) but I know bad pizza when I eat it. This is bad pizza. The entire chain is overpriced and the pizza is awful. They get an extra star for being open till 4am so my girlfriend can eat something besides goldfish crackers after a night of eating. Why is it so hard to find good pizza outside of the northeast?

I was told by many people that one of the things I absolutely must try while in Miami was a slice from Pizza Rustica. Using a general consensus, and going against my own mental judgment, I took them up on the suggestion on my very first night, after a long bout of drinking at Transit Lounge. This definitely was not a planned pit stop, but walking back to the hotel sometime around 4AM I spotted the neon sign saying they were still open and just couldn't resist. I've got to admit, I was a bit surprised and impressed that at this late hour they were still making fresh pizzas for the window. I completely expecting to walk in and see pieces of pizza that had been sitting under a heat lamp for a few hours, especially since this location is tucked off of the main road a bit, but I suppose it's well known to the locals. To prove this fact, the place had at least a dozen people there when I walked in, with a constant stream of people as I ate. They were pretty much all very attractive girls coming straight out of the clubs/bars, so guys it's a double win for you to make this a regular late night stop. The pizza itself was OK. I got a piece of the meat lovers ( flickr.com/photos/wedoit… ) and was really blown away by how large the slice they gave me was. I was thinking they would cut some off of it and serve me that, but nope you get the whole thing. There was just the right amount of meat to not completely overload the pie and it had a nice spice seasoning and flavor to it but nothing too spectacular. The staff here is pretty friendly too and they get your pizza out to you pretty quickly (although it is on a warming tray they still stick it back in the oven to get it crispy).

Unless you like surprises don't order from here, customer service is horrible and they always send whatever they want and not what you ordered in the first place. My last experience here I ordered two large pies and paid $50 for it just to one hour and a half later when the delivery came after telling me they would be here in 40 min that both my pies were missing ingredients. I ordered a roasted chicken and corn pizza that came with no corn and a rustica pizza that came with no Prosciutto or Basil, once I called them it took 40 mins with them on the phone and by the time they offered to resolve the problem it was too late. I called next day since there was no manager available when it happened and all the manager did was offer me a free cheeses pizza, I had problems just like this before and stopped ordering from there but when I heard they had switch management I decided to give it another try just to be as disappointed as before. There are plenty of other options on brickell of good pizza and less hassle.

Oh Pizza Rustica have you disappointed me. I have been a fan of your beach location (Washington) for a very long time. Then when I saw you were opening in Brickell my heart stopped from the excitement. So delivery is free, bonus! I ordered my pizza and it arrived in the proper time quoted. When I opened the box, the cheese had spread all over the side of the box from probably being tilted or who knows it actually looked like it might have fallen. OK, I can get beyond this. Then I go to get a piece out and the pizza was not even cut. And of course I could not find my pizza cutter so I opted for a knife. I ordered a Spicy Sausage pizza, and where was the sausage? Hmm, it was almost like they thought about it at the last moment and threw on a few pieces. For every piece there was maybe two pieces of sausage on the pizza but yet it had a ton of peppers on it. No being greedy on the veggies. Seriously the only thing that was good about this pizza was the fresh cheese. I ate two small pieces and immediately was not feeling to well. This pizza was not good at all. Such a shame, because I will not order from here again. Now, I will continue to go to the ONE location that seems to get it right. Then they changed what I tipped from $5 to $6.50 hmmm, not cool! Epic Fail!

Ok. It's official. I must admit I've been pizza rustica for years... Here sobe and lincon. But I've never been here for lunch, as a matter of fact: I've never been here SOBER ... Until today :) I am Pleasantly surprised that my 4am delight is just as amazing, with an ever changing selection of pies.. and bowls.. and coffee! (they have a keureg thing..) Love this place on the beach.. love it even more in the city.. Love the consistency of the taste, the speed of service and the real customer service.. seriously.. very genuine and sincere customer service.. i've been here dozens of times and have NEVER had a bad experience... Good job at getting big and keeping it personal

This is the worst run establishment in Brickell. It's 4pm, the only employee is sitting around picking his nose and guess what, they are all out of plain slices and maybe they will make more in 20 minutes. seriously? You're out of plain? They also don't have salad slices and won't make them for you. This Pizza Rustica isn't worth even reading this review.

This was one of the worst pizzas we have ever had. We ordered for delivery which took over an hour to receive. The Margharita pizza was burnt and tasteless -cardboard would have been more flavorful. The Pizza Rustica also awful. Will never order from there again. Truly bad

I was hungry a few nights ago and couldn't really think of where to go, so I decided to go the easy route and pick up some pizza at Pizza Rustica in order to give their food a chance. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered a large pizza, half tomato basil with goat cheese and half Rustica. Unfortunately, the pizza was just OK and really nothing to write home about. There wasn't anything special about the ingredients. The crust wasn't super flavorful and the pizza sauce was frankly kind of bland. I wasn't floored. I had to give them just two stars because I HAVE had better. As a matter off fact I could walk or drive over to Piola for excellent pizza, or just order pieducks. With that said, I don't think I'll be going back to Pizza Rustica which is a shame because it's so convenient. Lastly, for the record, I wasn't bashing this establishment in my previous review as I made very clear. My complaint was regarding their hours of operation. Nothing more, nothing less.

Not impressed what so ever. We came into this place at about 8pm. There were two tables of people out front and one person inside. Four employees were behind the counter shuffling about in a confused state. My friends and I stood there for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to help us. Only one of the four actually looked like they were working. Finally... finally... someone sheepishly asked us if we had been helped. We hadn't and asked for some Pepperoni Pizza. They were out. And they weren't going to make anymore. We left. And never came back. I am unlikely to visit Miami anytime again in the future. So if you are in town for the weekend, save yourself 30 minutes of hassle and move on.

Pizza Rustica, I have loved you since South Beach. Among my fond memories of high school, dragging my friends into your dingy Lincoln Road location to fuel up on some corn-topped pizza ranks pretty high. Now, let me tell you something about putting corn on a pizza: it's magical. I first learned about this tradition in Venezuela where they serve a Pepperoni, Corn and Herbs pizza (heaven) and have since scoured Miami for pizza places that don't look at me all crazy-like when I ask for corn as a topping. That being said, I'm a fan of the corn and chicken pizza (obviously). I can't really say I've tried any of the other options, being as I'm always drawn back to that corn. On top of having corn as a pizza-topping, PR is walking distance from my apartment, I can have dinner for under $6 in less time than it takes for me to make easy mac and serves up huge slices overflowing with toppings! Hell yes, I am a fan! Awesome bang for the buck!

Was there last night and had a slice of the bbq pork and it was wonderful. It was served hot and crispy and large portion. Also had the red velvet cupcake which is one of the best I ever had. Really liked the food. My first time there and it was delicious

Since my last review I've been to Pizza Rustica a few more times and been left wanting more. In my opinion, the quality of the pizza has gone down and the service, too. However, I would have continued to occasionally pick up a quick slice now and then if it weren't for an incident that happened tonight. The self-proclaimed owner of Pizza Rustica was parked in my parking spot in the building, which resulted in me sitting around waiting for a tow truck for over 40 minutes. When he came back to his car, he did apologize, but sorry doesn't just cut it when you're wasting my time. From now on when I'm looking for a quick bite, I'll pop into one of the other places in 500 or across the street at Brickell on the River.

Last week stopped in for a quick bite; 2 slices 1 cheese & 1 pepperoni both very tasty and the prices are decent. I had a couple of squares left over from my slices and I offered them to the 2 couples that had been waiting over 30 mins for their pizza order. Felt horrible for them and heard that this had been a problem for the restaurant...hope they can resolve this. The couple asked 3 times and the staff kept telling them 5 mins was a joke.

Keeping this review neutral due to my inebriated state during my visit which may cause bias. All I want to say is, Pizza Rustica, you saved my life one day at 5 in the morning after a long night of partying and dehydration. I was full of sadness, thinking I'd have to end my night scarfing down crappy McDonalds breakfast, thinking it was the only option at the hour. And then I saw your open sign. Open till 6. And all was well in the world.

Arguably the best pizza I ever had in my life. $5 slices about 4x6inches. As the reigning champ of the GSU wing eating contest, I am full! The coolest combinations of food. Only bad things, is it's like a real NY pizza joint. Very small corner, literally people all over you! And the customer service sucks, and it's a Pepsi company so only gross Pepsi products are available.

Chaos here today.. Noone new what was going on behind the counter, they forgot my order and only offered an apology when I asked for one. Terrible customer service. Typical Miami service. If I didn't live in the building, I wouldn't return. Then again, I may not after all.

I dropped in for a slice at new Brickell Pizza Rustica. On a Saturday afternoon, I was the only one in the restaurant. I asked for my Cheese slice very hot or crispy. Unfortunately, they are located off the main Brickell area and the parking might be an issue during the evenings.

I have to say the pizza here isn't as bad as I thought it would be. We have only ordered take out (delivery), the delivery the first time was fairly quick and our pizza slices were reasonable for an X-Large - it's pizza, cheese, sauce, vegi's and meat, what more can you ask for. The following time we ordered the Large and the slices were a lot smaller yet still a good size. This time however they had an outage and so they couldn't cook the pizza and took really long, what I really appreciated and there for really give a 3.5 rating is that they at least called to apologize and even offered a free Coke bottle. Don't get me wrong, Coke $2.00 - Pizza $20.00 - but at least it was something... We will definitely continue to order from here as it seems to be the most decent pizza in the downtown area at the moment. xo, kristin nicole

It was a Saturday and after attending a fundraiser nearby which did not serve any food, my boyfriend and I were hungry for the munchies. Since I have not been in the area for a while, I thought OK the only places there are around here are high priced restaurant which we did not want. We both were on a budget and wanted something that would be less painful to our pocketbooks. As we were heading down the elevator, another couple express the same anxiety as we were and asked the doorman who was riding in the same elevator as we were. He stated that there is Pizza Rustica a block away, very reasonable and opened now. It was around 10:30 p.m. and my boyfriend agreed. That was perfect. We were craving pizza anyway for a while. After a 3 min. walk we came in the establishment. It was neatly decorated with two big plasma TV's which had on one side a basketball game on and on the other a UFC Awards show. My boyfriend ordered the Marguerita Pizza while I ordered Pizza Supreme. Although we waited for about 7 minutes for our pizza to arrive hot to our table, it was crispy, tasty and hot. Just the way we liked it. A perfect ending to a perfect night!

I have a friend that lives in that building, so went to visit and was hungry. Stopped by this new pizza rustica location. it was pretty empty for a sunday at 9 but they had lots of employs, Im guessing they were for delivery cause they took over 15 min just for my sandwich! they get the stars because the sandwich was INSANE good!... the bread was soft, the cheese melted, it was just great.

Really, really bad delivery and customer service. If you don't speak Spanish, good luck ordering your pizza. I had to repeat my phone number and address 3 times before they understood me. They don't even apologize for keeping you on hold for 10 minutes!! Ahhhhh!! AND I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes plus more to get my pizza. After the long wait, I ended up with raw, mushy dough pizza. Never order again! Stay away from this place.

Didn't know this place existed at this location, but was very happy to find out :) Went here for some late night grub and was suuuuper happy to get some PIzza Rustica! It was just cheese, but absolutely delicious :) -1 star for the somewhat sketchy environment, but overall a great place. Maybe I'll go here for lunch one day, let's see.

Ambiance: 3. For a pick-up / delivery pizza place Rustica is actually quite nice. It's just off Brickell which is convenient, being somewhat protected from traffic and helps the parking situation while the inside is open and airy, with two massive display windows for their specialty pizzas. Cost: 5. Absolute steal, slices (you couldn't possible eat more than 1 or 2) are typically $5, and can usually be shared with someone else. $2.50 for a late night meal or quick dinner? I'll take it. Food Quality: 4. If you just want a plain jane cheese or pepperoni slice, this isn't your spot. The specialty pizzas are what give this a 4 (it's a 2 otherwise) - try the chicken bbq or the smoked spicy chicken. They hit the mark in my book. Service: 3. Dine-in service was fine and everyone was pretty friendly, and I can't speak for the take out problems that other reviewers had. When to return: Probably not the best place for takeout according to other reviewers, but great for a quick slice on the way somewhere around dinner time or post late night debauchery (they're open until 6 I believe).

I got delivery again and this time I was seriously disappointed. Yes, delivery was still fast, but the pizza just wasn't as good. Everything just seemed mushy and undercooked. They were out of one of the slices we asked for and on one of the pizzas that was supposed to come with prosciutto there was deli ham. Maybe it was just an off night for them, but I'm going somewhere else for pizza next time.

It takes a while to get the pizza out of the oven...even though they are only warming it up. They also sometimes are out of the pizza I want, however the slices are big and can feed for days.

I live up stairs from this place, so it's easy to just get a pizza every once in a while. I would never come here if it wasn't so convenient. I like to have freshly cooked pizza and not the slices that have been sitting there all day, the crust on those are weird and hard. 1 out 3 times the pizza comes out burnt. I have to check it before I leave. I always send the pizza back because burnt pizza taste like crap... Come on! All I want is a pizza that is cooked right and not blacken to a crisp... Get your sh*t together. Set a timer, it's not that hard. The employees must have no training....

I have always been a fan of Pizza Rustica from the time it was on the beach. The problem with the one on Brickell is that it doesn't have the variety of pizza's that you find at the one on the beach. I can't say this happens all the time but if you go in at 11pm on a weekday its hard to find much selection of pizza.

Ordered delivery. Waited 3 hours for one pizza, they had to deliver the pizza twice, when it finally arrived the delivery man called his manager and the manager was very unprofessional. Returned the pizza and decided to go with another pizzeria... Note: bad quotes for delivery time (obviously) Very rude: was hung up on twice tryIng to find where my pizza was Bad service all together, very disappointed. I hope they understand it should not take 3 hours for one pizza. Pizza Rustica Brickell

We ordered a pizza for delivery and quickly received ... the wrong pizza! As we were in a hurry to get to the airport, we weren't sure we'd get a corrected order quickly. We told the delivery guy what our actual order was (eggplant & goat cheese, NOT hard boiled egg and olive) and that we needed it in 30 minutes or we wouldn't be around to eat it. He was off like a flash back to the shop, and we then called them to let them know what had happened. Well, 28 minutes later, we had the following: 1) our correct (and DELICIOUS) pizza, which had been upgraded to massive for free; a free 2L soda; and a very happy opinion of both this pizza place and its staff. We strongly recommend this pizzeria, as they have amazing food and outstanding service. MMMMMMMMM!!!!!

This pizza was delicious. Definitely not your everyday piece of pizza. They offer a lot of different toppings. I had the supreme with pepperoni, sausage, red onion, green peppers and roasted red peppers. For 4.95 a slice you can't complain. They are huge. I ordered one piece and took it with me. The tables were full and there was a 40 minute wait. It seems to be a popular place.

The pizza was definitely phenomenal, even at 4 am. The ingredients in my meatball pizza slices were fresh and were cooked well into my pizza. They have a large selection of pizza and they all look appealing. I absolutely love their hours of operation and how quick the employees are. They were very kind and helpful which made my experience even better. The place is well kept and in a well lit location in Brickell so I definitely recommend to try a slice.

Two stars only because their pizza is good most of the time but the staff at this location is awful. It takes forever to even take an order over the phone. I was transferred to two people because I wanted to change (remove) one ingredient from a pizza from their menu. Not that hard to understand. I love Pizza Rustica, although this is NOT the best location.

Having food delivered from here is like going through the drive through. You don't get what you paid for. We called them back and we were offered a slice of pizza for a $30 order. Good luck, So I'm always open for second chances. Steve did call and offered a second chance and said he would give us another meal. Well we are back in town and ordered again. Nope same service same excuse! Good luck with the take out. P.S we paid for this meal as well.

I ordered, they delivered. Not my first time with P-Rustica... but it was my first delivery order. Simple, quick and fast... decent taste, decent crust and they did exactly what I asked for - delivery to the office. I would say if they make the sauce a bit more sweeter just to strengthen the flavor they'd increases sales a lot.

The pizza at this place is nothing special and actually doesn't taste the same as the other Pizza Rustica chains. Half the time the pizza is either burnt or under cooked. Add in the fact that this weekend (4/4/2015) I was charged $4+ for an extra large ($24.59 total) than was listed on their website (or what I could order online for at other locations) and I won't be going again. When I called to ask about the increase I was told: "The owner said that corporate increased prices company-wide." Funny, I don't see that increase listed at any other location. I would stay away from this place; nothing special about the pizza that you couldn't get for 10 bucks less at a chain store (Papa Johns, Dominos, etc).

Any other location is better than this one. The pizza is served cold and the ceasar salad is a joke. A plastic container full of iceberg lettuce and a tiny container of kens dressing. The staff is rude and stand offish. Stay away from this pizza rustica. Over priced and a bad representation of the brand.

Pizza Rustica was recommended by a friend and thanks to her I discovered great huge square pizza! Had a chicken Parmesan pizza and that hit the spot especially after a night of binge drinking! The crust was nice and buttery! Yum! They had about 6 different selections of pizza that were ready to go. The place is clean and nicer than most pizza places. (Cough cough ocean pizzeria). This is my new go to spot for late night pizza cravings.

3.5 I usually frequent Pizza Rustica after a fun night and I'm not the only one: this place can get crowded around 2-3am. However, I've never had an issue getting a table since this location is very spacious. What I've noticed is that one of their most popular pizzas is BBQ chicken which is rarely available for purchase. I've pointed this out several times but they don't seem to take suggestions. The staff is very friendly and orders are ready within minutes.

Pretty good as far as local chain pizza goes. Keep your expectations in line with reality and you'll enjoy a simple yet effective pie. Good set of options and combinations, open pretty late, and good delivery service make this an essential "need Pizza" place for any Brickell resident working/studying late at home.

Pizza Rustica is a must when you are in Miami, but I would recommend going to the original on Miami Beach if you have time. The Brickell location definitely has a great slice to go, but the custom made options on Miami Beach allow you do to things like a wheat crust with goat cheese! My only complaint is I've yet to be to any Pizza Rustica location and get friendly service. They generally ignore you from the moment you walk in to the second you leave...but it's $5 for a slice of pizza bigger than your head and I've never had a bad piece.

Epic Fail!

Truly bad

    (4)
  • Juan S.

Chaos here today.. Noone new what was going on behind the counter, they forgot my order and only offered an apology when I asked for one. Terrible customer service. Typical Miami service. If I didn't live in the building, I wouldn't return. Then again, I may not after all.

I dropped in for a slice at new Brickell Pizza Rustica. On a Saturday afternoon, I was the only one in the restaurant. I asked for my Cheese slice very hot or crispy. Unfortunately, they are located off the main Brickell area and the parking might be an issue during the evenings.

  • James i.
