Great for breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere with breakfast cooked to perfection. In the shopping area of the doubletree

I do not normally write reviews, but this was so bad I feel compelled to do so. I went here half because the bad Yelp ratings, thinking it cant be that bad. I was wrong. Start with a salad, and the dressing is from pre sealed cups like we were at Hooters or something. Cooking steak is not that hard, or shouldn't be. Especially if you market yourself as a place with that as your specialty. I got a NY steak (strip). It came out tepid at best, with char marks, but then with raw meat in between. There was no seasoning, and the steak itself was very chewy. Easily the worst steak of my adult life. There are way too many choices near here to give this place your money. PS staff was great, but I cant eat the staff.

The food is not that great and I agree with the other post regarding the service. The service is very slow and beware when checking out. They did not give me the itemized receipt where it shows tip was already added. They only give you the signature receipt where you can add a tip. Basically they are double dipping. Pretty dishonest.

Restaurant only has 13 tables and had 3 servers. It took an extremely long time to get our order and the restaurant wasn't even full. We never got refills on our water. We ordered coffee and asked all 3 servers for a refill, to which they all said ok and walked away. I had to get up and go to the servers station myself to get a refill as did other customers as well. With empty tables people still had to wait almost 10 minutes to be seated and had to argue about a table they wanted. Sadly the food wasn't all that great either.

The service stood out...as terrible. The server took ten minutes longer to bring out both the food and drink to the one non-white person at the table, even though he had ordered the same thing I had. He had an attitude about our friend ordering both strawberries and bananas with his French toast. He complained when we used the breakfast coupons from the hotel.

Nice service... terrible breakfast food. Took two bites of my pancakes and eggs, and just ended up settling on the coffee. There is an unsettling atmosphere here as well.... maybe all the tourists.

First: I'm on business. On a weekend. So I just walked with my eyes half closed until I smelled coffee. To a brazilian steakhouse. Should have gone to the Starbucks counter next door. $30 later, my colleague and I had a small breakfast with poor service and horrible coffee. Make the walk to go somewhere else. I did like the painting on the wall, and had plenty of time to stare at it while waiting for my bill.

This little jewel is tuck away in the Double Tree Grand Hotel on Biscayne Bay. I went here Saturday night with my husband for a romantic dinner. This Argentinean Steakhouse is small, cozy and intimate. The restaurant is a little unassuming due to the location, but once you walk inside, you begin to feel right at home. The staff is ultra accommodating due to the size of the restaurant. I have to say the food was just OK. My filet Mignon was a little overcooked, but since I was so engulfed in the easy listening music playing in the background, and enjoying my glass of merlot, it didn't seem to bother me as much. I gave this a 4 star because of the intimate, cozy atmosphere and the excellent service. Once we finished eating we went out back on the marina and just sat and talked. Great for a romantic evening with someone special.

Bad food, expensive, and charged me for food I didn't order. Even with Doubletree "free" continental breakfast cards. Don't waste your time.

The breakfast food was decent, but the service left a lot to be desired. The prices are about average for the area; we spent about $30 for breakfast for two. Be advised, though: this restaurant automatically adds a 15% gratuity to your bill. My wife and I stood in the doorway for a couple minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us. A waiter finally came over to seat us when we just started walking towards a table. It was another few minutes before a different waiter came to take our order, but he was barely listening to us and even WALKED AWAY MID-ORDER to go wait on another table that had just been seated. The restaurant was less than half-full, so they weren't too busy, either. I had the Eggs Benedict, which were pretty good; a decent, subtle Hollandaise sauce and the ham had a nice smoky flavor to it. The potatoes were crisp but not too dry. My wife had the seasonal berry pancakes (just strawberries when we visited), which were tasty, but basically just your average pancakes. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the steak or other lunch/dinner entrees, as the poor customer service at breakfast has ensured that we will not be returning.

This places has the setting for good food and steak. Good location for travelers (me) but I must comment on the porterhouse. I don't know if it is a Miami thing but generally finding a good steak in this town is near impossible. This matches the standard - not good. If you go steak order more rare then you would normally. Medium = medium rare, Medium Rare = Rare. This is a simply overpriced wannabee steakhouse. Bottom-line - don't eat near the hotels.

I came hear for an early breakfast and ordered a ham, mushroom, and cheese omelet. I love omelets and this omelet was pretty solid. My order also came with cubed breakfast potatoes. They were good but would have prefer hash browns...

Pretty good spot, I definitely anticipate going back, and may very well add another star. Its a tiny place hidden in the back of the Doubletree, not exactly the kind of place you'd stumble upon, but if you find yourself in the area, its worth checking out. I went with recommendations from a co-worker whose family is somehow involved in running the place, and they were all pretty good. We got the melted provolone, which is just that-melted provolone cheese- we got it by itself , ehich I would not recommend- we should have gotten it plus the chorizo sausage, and eat them together with the rolls you're given...It was tasty nonetheless. For entrees, I got the skirt steak churrasco, which was fantastic. Tender (at least as tender a skirt steak as i've ever had), and whatever rub/marinade they used was phenomenal- the chimichurri sauce, though delicious, was not even necessary. As a bonus, the mashed potatoes (and being Irish, I'm somewhat of a connoisseur of all things potato) were clearly homemade, and very good. Additionally, the wine list had a very wide variety, in terms of price points as well as varietals. Even though I prefer BYOBs (being from Philadelphia, where they are everywhere), this was one of the more accessible wine lists I have come across. Servie was a little spotty, but not better or worse than average by Miami standards, and friendly at the very least. All in all its worth a trip, I will probably try it for lunch in the future too, as they apparently have great lunch specials.
