Very friendly staff and the manager is on top of his restaurant. This was the first Lime I've been to in all of Miami and I've very happy with my experience, every single time. I always get the 8street burrito, the Cali burrito, And occasionally the nacho cheese dip and chips. A+++ always. I come here e often enough that I know the overall quality of food is fantastic.

I love this place and even more so now that's I am a hospital employee, Baptist employees get a 15% discount. I usually get the grilled fish tacos and they are amazing. Today I ventured off the usual course and ordered the "8th Street burrito" it comes with refried beans, rice, black beans and your choice of chicken, steak or ground beef. I chose ground beef, it was great. I had my usual frozen margarita, they always pack a punch and are refreshing on a hot Sunday fun day afternoon. The manager was very polite and came out from the back of store to greet me after hearing I was a Baptist employee. Guys!!!!!! if you work at the west Baptist location, please stop by and get your yummy food and great discount!!!!!!!!!!

I waited till a couple of visits to finally write a review for Lime. I wanted to make sure that the food was consistently good and it is! I have a few spots I frequent when I crave Mexican. Lime has become one of those spots. It's quick, it's fresh, and it's cheap. I love that they have a low carb menu. In the mood to wind down and have a drink? Not a problem. They offer a great selection of beers and wine. The frozen Margarita is my favorite. It is a bit strong but goes down so smooth after a long day. The complimentary chips are fresh, crunchy and delicious. There is quite a variety of salsas to chose from as well. The service is always good. There's always staff coming around checking on the patrons. Whether it be refilling the fresh chips basket or bringing extra condiments, they are always attentive to your needs. The restaurant is always clean. There is plenty of seating inside and outside as well. Overall, great place for quick healthy Mexican. Oh and they have a kids menu too!

Love this place and pop in often when I'm craving Mexican food or fish tacos :) Quick, yummy, and filling. Love the salsa bar!

I have always had meh experiences with Lime. This is my first time at this location and I left pretty satisfied. I ordered the nudie burrito and my boyfriend got a queso burrito. The girl was nice but it's Kendall so she had a bit of an attitude. The manager there was super friendly and helpful, always moving around making sure everything was okay, I enjoy seeing that. The salsas were all delicious and fresh and the soda machine they had was awesome, had everything you could ever imagine. We didnt wait long for our food and it also was fresh and yummy. My boyfriends burrito came with jalapeños and he didn't even find them until they very bottom of the burrito! Other than that it was a good experience and good food!

This used to be my regular spot considering I live so close to the area. Definitely don't see myself coming here anymore after tonight. I would place my regular order of burrito with a side of guacamole and they would give me a full bag of chips, plus some with the burrito. I believe they anticipated more chips=guacamole. Tonight? Not so much. Barely a handful of chips to go with my burrito that had all the chicken at the bottom. So, if you want to pay a premium for lacking portions and food prepared for in a way that would make Taco Bell seem like they're golden- be sure to come here.

Lime is my go-to place when I'm in a hurry passing through Kendall. I call them before I jump on the Turpike by 8 Street and 15 minutes later it's ready for me when I walk in. Remember to walk over to the register on the back left (closest to the salsa bar) if you've called ahead. Basically skipping the regular line; a bonus IMO. There is nothing negative to be said about the service. In fact it is STELLAR every single time. No joke. Today's Queso Burrito is perfect. However, I know I'll never get that ratio of meat to rice and beans ever again. Most times its too much rice, the queso is all on one end, the beans all on the other. Its pretty disappointing that they can't get it right every time. So heres the reason for the 3 stars. Lime is your regular fast food chain. Nothing extraordinary here. Yet, if they perfected what they did, it would warrant a 5 star review. Because they fall short in the following areas I have to rate them a 3 Star Just "A-Ok" Minus 1/2 star for inconsistencies in portions. Minus 1/2 star for the quality of the ground beef Minus 1/2 star for never serving fresh chips* Minus 1/2 star for often forgetting the bacon on my Queso. (And because that tiny sprinkling of bacon is very overpriced ) *ONCE in the 100+ times I have eaten Lime I received straight out of fhe fryer tortilla chips and they were EXCELLENT. I understood in that very moment that I should savour them because I was never going to experience that again. The place was PACKED like I had never seen before meaning that they had gone through their tortilla "reserves" and were forced to fry them to order. I was forever changed. I could never look at another cold, semi-stale tortilla chip the same way.

Best margaritas!!!!! Good service. I always enjoy the food. Salads are amazing and my daughter really likes the quesadillas. Must try the queso dip! Only problem: the birds people keep feeding, they can get quite annoying.

  • Lauren A.

Every single time I go it's perfect. Food is perfect, service is perfect and the atmosphere is perfect. The people that work there are always upbeat and delightful. I've never had bad food there, the sauces are always stocked and yummy and the burritos are always full and never skimped.

    (5)
  • Astrid B.

This place was really good! I got the lime burrito which was pretty good but it kind of tastes like a crunch wrap supreme with refried beans! The queso dip is the best!!! I wish the chips it brings were saltier though. That's just a personal preference though. I also tried the cherry slush with the margarita and it was good just too expensive! Go w-f for half price!

  • Jessi M.

Everything I eat there I always leave satisfied. Food wise their grilled fish tacos are delicious. Always get them with their cilantro sauce. Their chips are great too with all their different salsas. Their customer service could be slightly nicer. If you're serving the public, you SHOULD smile :)

I had never been here but herd much of it. Im so happy i was able to try it the food was amazing! We had nachos and classic quesadillas. The food was ready quick and tasted hot and fresh. The service was perfection! We where so happy with everything my boyfriend really wanted to let the manager know how amazing the food and service was. The mAnager (i think his name was wAlly or willy sorry im really bad with names ) was very friendly and welcoming. He gave us great tips on sauces and even surprised us with a key lime pie! We will be back soon this place was great!! Based on cost vs service its one of my boyfriends favorites now.

We ordered for a party at our home and it was outstanding. They provided not only their tasty food wirh all the condiments but included the serving spoons, tongs, and plates. All my guests raved about how great everything tasted. Wally and the other managers were very professional and accomodating. Definitely would use them again for a future party.

I tried Lime years ago, this would be only my second time trying them and after this visit I remember why. THEY SUCK! I would grade them slightly higher than Taco Bell. How good can you be when you can't even serve fresh, hot chips? My burrito was very tiny and lacking flavor, all the protein was on one end of the burrito. The fish tacos were also very bland, not much to them. I wouldn't recommend for a good burrito, taco or fajita.

  • Lacey C.

Lime always has great service, but it's definitely a two-star Yelp establishment. What's that third star for?, you may ask. Oh. It's because my pal Jesus has a jonesing for this place every once and a while, and he was onto something: "Let's get margaritas." "Why on earth would I get a margarita from these people? They don't even have rocks--they're just frozen." "They will get you drunk." A lightweight I am not, and even though I hadn't had lunch yet (Judge not, lest you be judged) I was admittedly, pretty wasted after downing one under the hot summer sun. We had to waste a lot of time eating some wraps nearby before anyone felt ok to drive. Other than that, just go if you need some salty-salsa-y black bean fix.

  • Sean B.

Amazing Happy Hour with 4 dollar Margaritas which are sneaky strong and extremely tasty, also get it with a corona for a Coronita. For food everything is pretty tasty, the Fish Tacos are just great, Fried with Baja sauce.

    (4)
  • Steve B.

Delicious!!!! Why go to Chipotle ? This place is amazing the burrito choices are pretty good and unlike Chipotle they serve you chips on the side for no charge. They also have a wide array of sauces which always makes things interesting.

    (5)
  • Nawal B.

It does not taste as fresh as chipotle, or as favored (ordered steak bowl and a burrito) Terrible. Super dry. Plus it is more expensive and I walked out hungry because the bowl portion was so small. I husband asked for his burrito to be redone because it was missing everything he ordered it was mostly rice. One of the managers literally rolled his eyes.

    (1)
  • Willie G.

I like this place better than chipotle! Yup I said it don't judge me. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it cost me $12 to eat a burrito and drink not lunch friendly. But fire and a lot of salsa sections

    (4)
  • Ralph G.

I love Lime. Its one of my lunch time staples.. im fairly consistent - i usually go with the steak and cheese tacos.. but, there are plenty of options to choose from and they are all good. Ive never had a bad meal here.

  • Samir V.

Dropped by again, unfortunately, with the same results. Only did it to appease my cousin. This place is terrible, really don't understand how people have such terrible taste.

    (1)
  • Lina T.

I love lime. Here's the pro and con. Pro: I love the fast service. They have a tasty healthy taco... Low carb and if your in the mood for beer you can grab one too. Con: don't have anything bad to say about it. Other then it's not authentic Mexican. But nobody goes to a corporate chain to get authenticity. Overall I'm happy with the restaurant.

    (4)
  • Nathalia D.

Really great manager and quick service! Food came out really quickly and everything was spotless and great quality. Usually don't come here, but I'll be coming back more often.

    (5)
  • Roxanne M.

There food is eatable but not Mexican food, personally I use to think chipotle had little Mexican taste but lime is worst. It's over priced but that's not the problem because as long as it's worth it the money should not matter but in this case it's NOT worth it. My husband and friend both agreed as well for different reasons. Gone to the by world of beers coconut creek and I remember not being % satisfied either. Azteca Mexican food is awesome on Sheridan !

  • Danielle B.

People had told me to go to Lime for some good Mexican fast food. So after a movie across the street, I was excited to try it. I am a fan of other similar chains (chipotle, baja fresh... sorry to name a few other competitors). We ordered one cantina steak salad and one Lime burrito with chicken. I must have misread because the menu says "served with a crispy tostada," but I had imagined my salad being served IN a crispy tostada shell. That was a little disappointing, but my fault. The rest of the salad was fine. The burrito was where Lime failed me. The chicken was so dry and the refried beans tasted like the beans out of a 3 day old taco bell batch, yuck. At least they had a decent salsa bar to help save the burrito. The best was the pineapple and the black baja salsas. I can see the appeal seeing as they serve beer, wine and frozen margaritas, but I likely won't be filling any burrito cravings at Lime.

  • Susan E.

First time here. In a hurry. Ordered food and it arrived quickly. I had the southwest grilled chicken salad. Loved it! They made it to order for me. Unlimited salsa bar. Delicious black bean salsa. I did not have time to try 10-15 other types. I will be back!

  • Yvelin R.

I've heard two bad stories of this place but I've been here several times and have never had bad experience. Yummy salads, quesadillas, flautas, margaritas and sangrias. Queso dip doesn't disappoint either. Can't complain. Not a fan of the burrito or bowls (I love those at Chipotle!!!).

    (4)
  • C A.

I love Lime!!! Such a great ambiance. Nothing like good food and good times. GREAT SERVICE and good times!! Definitely will be back.

    (4)
  • Alex M.

Great service much cleaner then last time! But hey no ones perfect! Better then Chipotle in that we don't have to wait in a 2-hour line to eat. The manager came to our table once the food was delivered and explained how to get a cheaper vegetarian meal by replacing ingredients on any menu item. Even offered free condiments for this confusion. Great service will come more often!

    (5)
  • Jose R.

I usually have a decent experience in Lime. They are very friendly and attentive. My only gripe is their Lime burrito is very under stuffed compared to the competition. The competition has better quality and value. After speaking to the general manager, I was told that the Lime burrito is part of their health conscious menu. Like their Skinny Burrito. I think they should specify that on their menu.

    (3)
  • Nene M.

I absolutely love this place! I love the fried fish tacos! Great for a lunch break or taking out! If u love nachos, tacos or burritos make this your spot!!! They also have a table full of different hot sauces ....BEWARE!

    (5)
  • Andrea V.

Great place to eat & get a drink. Their frozen sangrías are my favorite & the margaritas are just as great. The salads are my personal favorite since their so big & I get to make my own salsa mix with their selection of delicious salsas. Their variety of burritos are also flavorful.

    (5)
  • Jimmy N.

Great tacos! Great flavor. Staff is always smiling & attentive! don't forget your piña colada and try the Steak Cantina!

    (4)
  • Betty R.

Gave 2 stars because I had the lime burrito and you can tell chicken was stale with no favor. Best part of LIME is chips and salsa that's it for me. For the $14 I spent it was not worth it.

    (2)
  • Kenneth M.

This place is always great. It's always pretty clean inside and they have a pretty large outdoors area too. Basically no problems. It's a good chain and the prices aren't bad either, 6 dollars or so for the quesadilla with chips.

    (4)
  • Nicole R.

Thew few times I've gone, Lime has never disappointed. The food has been fresh and very flavorful. It's a little on the pricey side, but it's doable. My absolute favorite thing has to be the chips and queso. So delicious!

    (4)
  • Holly P.

I love this place. The people are very helpful the food is fantastic and the ambiance is fantastic. if you like fast and delicious food this place is for you. the big cali is delicious! another plus about this location is that they are great at doing custom orders. If you don't want beans there won't be any in your burrito! Thank God some people still actively pursue and provide good customer service. I will be back!

    (5)
  • Caroline G.

The food here is great, I love the taco salad it's delicious. My experience here, however, wasn't the best. We ordered and found a seat easily. Our food was brought to us quickly, they forgot to bring one of the things I ordered so that took another few minutes. I don't have anything against kids, I love them. While we were eating a loud soccer team of children sat behind us. Needless to say we couldn't even hear what we were thinking. We had to pick up our food and stuff and had to move outside. Sad face.

  • Terry D.

I love Lime! First time I went for the queso burrito and the second time I went I got the steak and cheese tacos. The burrito was just an explosion of flavor in my mouth. It had queso, rice, tortilla strips, and steak. You cannot go wrong ordering the queso burrito! The steak and cheese tacos were good but they weren't as great as the burrito! I HIGHLY recommend the queso burrito! The girl at the cash register was very nice and helpful when I first went there. I personally like this place more than chipotle JUST because they have queso and their queso is muy delicioso.

Great food, fast service and excellent customer service. The staff is friend and courteous. Tacos are amazing. Will come again for sure!

So after the gym I was torn on wether to have lunch at off the grill or lime (both are in the same shopping center.) Needless to say I went to lime and regretted it. Cold and dull steak salad with a tasteless sauce on the side. I ate it cause I was hungry. Should've gone to off the grill.

    (1)
  • Cary J.

I always order the chicken quesadilla however it is always lacking chicken. This time I ordered the steak quesadilla half with extra steak, it was plentiful. The queso dip is delicious, don't order the tacos and don't order them to go the order was wrong and it didn't have enough protein. Overall its a decent place to get some lunch or even dinner .. They need more booth seating. :)

    (4)
  • Karen S.

Excellent customer service! The manager is on top of his game. I was asked if I wanted chips while I waited, then while eating if i needed extra napkins, sauce, if all was good several times. Better than a sit down restaurant!

    (5)
  • Kristin G.

I just realized that I haven't actually placed a review for this place, when I frequent here like ALL THE TIME! Order the Lime Burrito here on a regular basis. Never had a problem with my order. My husband had a problem with his order one time, but the issue was rectified almost immediately. The food is always fresh, always made to order. If you dine in, it does take a minute for the food to come out, but we always order pickup and it's ready by the time we get there. Overall, one of the best Lime's to go to.

    (4)
  • Teé M.

Best customer service ever. . Everything was very fresh as well. Definitely will come again. Ummm... The margaritas are strong lol

Great food & service as always. The only restaurant in town where the staff is always smiling & attentive! David runs a happy ship over in Kendall...keep up the good work!

    (5)
  • Rey M.

Good service, friendly staff, fast service... The food is good with a consistent quality always. But if you want a real Mexican restaurant this one is not the option.

    (5)
  • Kirsten B.

The food was so bland, I felt like it was a waste of money. The only upside was that the food was fresh and the employees were nice. However, I am not going back.

    (2)
  • Kareena S.

This was my first time eating here and the service and food was great !! Server even helped me pick out which hot sauce I would like for my taste because they have so many to choose from. I'm glad this place has their liquor license too so next time I am around I will definitely try their frozen sangria which I heard is so delicious !!

  • Marcella L.

Not only do I work @ lime, but I eat the food all the time. Everything is fresh made daily. You'll never be disappointed. Make sure to try the queso dip.

An amazing place to eat; the service was outstanding and the manager (Eldon)went out of his way to make sure we were 100% satisfied and went above and beyond! STRONGLY RECOMMEND U VISIT FOR GREAT SERVICE (ask for Eldon).

  • Chantelle M.

I'm giving this place a solid 4 out of 5. I really like the layout of this location, it has so many different places to sit. High tops, low tops, tables for couples and longer tables to accommodate a larger party. Haha, I'm sure I'm weird to be drafting a review regarding seating arrangements but I think of these things! If you like Moes, Chipotle and etc then I'm sure with out a doubt that you'll enjoy Lime as well. I like that ingredients tasted fresh and not stale and I came during peak "after school/work" hours. I love their salsa bar that has an array of different types of salsa. Some spicy to sweet. Mostly, I loved their soda machine that you can pretty much mix any flavor you want. I'm seriously obsessed and fixated on eventually trying every flavor one day! Annnnnd, they had freakin' AMAZING costumer service during their busy peak hours. Like impeccable service.

  • Mark B.

Great Mexican food! It's fast food (I define fast food restaurants as places you pay before you eat) but has quality food. ENVIRONMENT: It's a little small but has out side eating and is very clean and organized. SERVICE: I have gotten great service every time I come here. The waiters and waitresses bring you the food and whatever condiments you need from the salsa bar. And if you want more food or drinks you don't have to stand back in line, they will ring it up for you. The girls that work there tend to also be pretty. FOOD: Delicious. Their lime burrito is the best thing they have on their menu but I still love to order their fish tacos and even go a little fatter with their queso burrito. They have a healthier selection, which is good but in my opinion could be healthier. But if you want something healthy Off the Grill is in the same complex and serves nothing but healthy food with several menus based on different diets. PRICE: Very reasonable. Its a little more for standard fast food but cheaper than a traditional restaurant. But the food is good so it is worth it.

Went to this place in north miami and loved it! Will be going to the kendall one soon :-) I tried the chicken cheese burrito!! Yummy.

    (5)
  • Christina H.

Pleasantly surprised - choose over a chipotles around the corner for something new. I had the burrito bowl with fish (Mahi). It was tasty but definitely on the heavier and saltier side of 'fresh' Mexican. Nice outdoor seating area. Three stars since it's your average quick, fresh Mexican joint, nothin special but a serviceable chain for a quick bite.

  • Ivette R.

OMG This place is great.I went to Lime today for the first time and it was great. The girl that I have my order to was friendly and very interesting.I ordered a steak burrito with black beans, rice, cheese and sour cream and it was delicious. Also the chips are so fucking good.I would definitely like to come back.

I couldn't say enough about the customer service at this location! We had 5 separate servers including the owner stop by are table to make sure everything was fine. There was a minor error in one of the kids orders and it was rectified in minutes and the "mistake" quesadilla packaged for home...which made me glad that the food didn't just go to the trash.

I have never ate here before so I decided to stop here and check it out since it just opened. I had no idea what to order so the girl at the front explained the menu very cleary and was very helpful. As she was explaining the menu I saw that they had frozen margarita and sangrias. They technically do not have liquor (because they do not have a liquor license) in them but a type of agave wine. They offered samples and it was decent nothing specatuclar I would say if it had real liquor in it it would be a lot better. I ordered the naked burrito with steak (its like a burrito in a bowl). It came with chips. I would say it was good but I would prefer chipotle. It didn't have too much flavor and it was kind of dry. It could also be because I didn't order beans. But I had to order a side of guacamole with it. Now on to the guacamole. They have 4 types of guacamole. I got the regular one they had. It was very plain, could have used more salt and lime. They do have a salsa bar with about 6-8 different salsas. I tried the seasonal pineapple one and habanero (level 3 spicy as they defined it). The pineapple was sweet and savory. I thought the habanero was spicy but tolerable, if you like spicy I would add it for the spice. It doesn't have any other real flavor to it.

I love Lime! The food is always fresh and filled with great flavor. The salsa bar is always filled with fresh salsas. The drinks are amazing and have a great selection. The ingredients are very well put together.

  • Juan R.

Along with Chipotle, Lime is the best higher-end Mexican chain. All their ingredients are super-fresh and they have a large variety on their menu. The fish tacos and desserts are my favorites. The service is always fast and with a smile. The restaurant is very clean, modern, and right on Kendall Dr. Prices are good for what you get. The only thing I don't like it that they use too much beans in the burritos and not enough cheese, sour cream, ect...

    (5)
  • Jennifer M.

Great food, all the ingredients taste fresh and their queso dip is amazing. The price is okay, and the atmosphere is pretty good as well.

I love me some Mexican food and was so happy when I saw that a Lime was opening up near my house. I had never been to lime and decided to take a break from cooking and eat there last night. When we got there the line was out the door. Literally. But, it moved fairly quick. I had the frozen Sangria which Im sorry to say that I did not like. It was a little too bitter for my taste. Had I seen the Coke Freestyle machines before I ordered I so would have gone with a flavored soda. Lime is a little different that its competitors in that when you order you get a number to put on your table and they bring you your food. The queso dip came out quick and it was sooooo good! I had the Bacon and Beach Quesadilla which was pretty good except I didnt really taste the bacon. My hubby had the fajitas which he loved. Im excited to go back and try more things off their menu. They have a lot of goodies to try.

  • Rachel P.

What's not to like about lime? I still think they have the best frozen margaritas (strongest) in all of Miami. I love their salads, great dressings, fish tacos, burritos, and my favorite, the trifecta (homemade pico de gallo salsa, fresh guacamole and creamy queso dip. Served with bottomless fresh tortilla chips). I also love the fact you can sit outside with your pup and people watch. Their servers are always very friendly and ontop of things. The manager on duty always comes by to check on you as well. All in all, a great place to grab a bite to eat and a buzzzzzzzzzzzz.

    (5)
  • L A.

Pitbull friendly!!!! My boyfriend and I went there one afternoon with our dog, ordered some margaritas and something to eat. They promptly brought us our food and asked us if our dog needed a bowl of water, and brought her a bowl. Great service and the food was great!!! Had trio appetizer and fish tacos. Glad to know they're accepting of a misunderstood breed

a place that has a burrito that is just delicious and doesn't have onions in it is a 5/5 stars in my book! I love this place and the burritos at 500 calories definitely hits the spot. The food tastes fresh and the salsa choices are superb. I am definitely coming back again and again.

I love it. is that that expensive and the burrito is huge :)

I love Mexican food and this place hits the spot every time I go. The food is great I usually get the 8street burrito because I love the combination of the ingredients inside. The salsa bar is good, and watch out for the habanero salsa b/c it is not a joke, it's hot! The other great thing is if you like hot sauces they have almost every single major brand available and more to try.

  • Guillermo F.

I had a bad experience the first time, but they have improved a great deal since !! AND my attitude about them has changed as well. They try to do their best and the portions of the protein ( fish, chicken, whatever) have gotten more generous. I would venture to recommend them with high confidence....THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT MEALS LIME !!

Been here many times, I love cheese, therefor I approve the cheese burrito it's cheese ....mmmm

I have dined at the Lime in Midtown at least 20 times in the last 6 months and I always enjoyed the food. The music is fun and the atmosphere is also laid back and casual. You can eat quick if in a hurry (lunch), or you can relax and take your time outside. Definitely would recommend sitting outside if the weather is nice. Go to this spot if you like Mexican food!!!!

  • Nick M.

Quesadilla and beer!!! what more can you ask for?!?! This place is a cool Tex-Mex restaurant that offers an abundance of hot sauces for you crazy spice freaks out there! The food is cooked to order and comes out fast and accurate. They have a good happy hour and the drinks are always ice cold. Prices are fair and easy on the wallet.

I love the framed limes on wall! That being said, the new location on Kendall Drive is great. My friends and I had a late dinner there and enjoyed the atmosphere til midnight. A friend even needed to use the restroom after they closed and they still let her in to use it. The food was great! I had the nudie burrito and the portion was a good size. The staff is also great. Good times. Next time I have to try the drinks!

It's good but not that good. I prefer Chipotle's food over Lime's. What makes this place unique is the service to your table and a very large assortment of salsas and spicy hot sauces. You also can order unlimited chips. The guacamole is very very good, better than Chipotle's actually.

Nice place to hang out. Gets pretty packed and busy Friday nights. Customer service is great! Food is okay, nothing extraordinary...typical Mexican American (with a little less flavor). I tried their Lime Cherry Freeze and loved that. I also ordered the Cantina Steak Salad...it was big enough to feed 2! It did bring a lot of steak, which I was surprised since salads usually are just lettuce. For the Cherry Lime Freeze and Cantina Steak Salad I paid $12.95. I'll be back again! :)

Haven't tried everything on the menu, but the few things I've tried were just OK. Prices aren't bad, but you can find better tasting mexican food for cheaper. Their guac is pretty good and this is the only reason I'll go back for. Try it classic or the abuelita's.

Great food and service. Johnny, who is a manager at that location, makes you feel at home and truly knows the meaning of customer service. I really thought that was lost here in South Florida. This place has great fresh Mexican food and a great relaxing atmosphere.

Best Tex-mex food in Kendall! Fresh ingredients and an awesome salsa bar. They also have ghost pepper hot sauce for those who are brave enough to try it! I love this place!

Lime was great for fast casual fresh Tex Mex ! Service was very good - orders came out promptly and were cleared in a timely manner. Definitely a good option for week nights or lunch.

LIME!! I was there when they first opened up on sobe and im super surprised it took them this long to open up in west kendall. The food is a tad bit on the heavy side, especially compared to Chipotle. However, the food here is always fresh and very tasty. I have had almost everything on the menu and would order it all again. The soups are good as well. Im actually about to go eat there right now, lol... A testament to how much i like it. They have serveral locations and they are always consistent. Fast, easy and good! Totally recommended.

I decided to try Lime and although it was good, it's hard to give more than 3 stars when I have in the back of my mind my favorite Mexican restaurant that's across the street. I had the taco salad.. Was just ok. The sangria frozen drink was way too strong. Nice staff. Don't think I will frequent much.. Prefer authentic Mexican food.

This Lime Fresh Mexican Grill shines like a diamond in goats ass amidst a dismal strip mall in West Kendall. The food there is unbelievably good and fresh. The salsa bar is awesome. Most importantly, they have ice cold Pacifico beer. I was also very impressed with the high quality of service and cleanliness of the place. We'll be back often.

We love coming here. The staff is attentive and helpful, bringing us napkins if they see we are lacking or on two occasions bringing us an appetizer (free) during a rather busy time to keep us entertained while we waited for our food. The food is always hot and fresh and with so many options at the salsa bar.

Totally average taco place. Nothing but the cute ambience makes Lime stand out. After hearing all the hype about this place from fellow Kendall-ites, I felt it my duty to indulge my insatiable taco cravings. Yeah, my cravings were satisfied but I wasn't blown out of town as so many promised I would be. The tortillas are a bit too doughey for my likings. The salsa bar featured nothing too innovative. Just your typical assortment of pico de gallo, verde sauce and some spicier varieties. The service was excellent which made me feel a touch guilty about not being thrilled, but so has it...Lime is over rated, I'm sorry.

Chips were stale when I went, but I love the quesadillas so much that stale chips won't keep me away! Packed house on a Sunday afternoon, but plenty of places to sit.

I had the beef burrito and it was very, very good. Words do not describe how good it was. The burrito is gigantic and they put everything in it including the sour cream. You need both hands to eat this one. YUM!

Lime is overrated. People seem so overcome by the bar-like atmosphere and the friendly service that they ignore the food. Moes, cantina grill, and maybe even chipotle offer more food and better quality for lower prices, and since the 3 mentioned are like subway, I have more control over how my burrito is built. So what if you can't finish it all?? Maybe they'll be some scraps for me, 'woof'

I liked this location of Lime as well. Very energetic. I went here in September 2012 a little bit after they first opened. It appeared that it was STILL a grand opening that day lol. The music was extremely loud. The staff was very busy and helpful. The food here was good too. No complaints.

Lime knows how to hit the spot. The staff is really friendly and yes, expect a line to wait- about 10 minutes- so you can put in your order. Luckily, the orders come out quick and there's no need to get all frustrated. The food is always delicious! Their queso dip is addicting and their guac was definitely better the second time around. The burritos are HUGE and their fajitas are very yummy. Having been to both the Dadeland location and now this one, I am a fan of this chain restaurant.

I had lunch at the new Lime Fresh in West Kendall during its opening week. As I expected, it was packed. The line to order was out the door, but it went by pretty fast. I ordered a Baja Fish Taco and a regular beef soft taco. My favorite was the Baja, which is batter-fried fish with shredded cabbage and a creamy cilantro sauce. It certainly isn't healthy, but it's delicious. I rounded out my meal with chips and various salsas from their salsa bar. Many of their menu items sound very appetizing, so I'll have to visit them more frequently. I've also heard they have happy hour specials. I'll need to check that out.

I've always loved lime and it makes me so happy that they opened this new location so close to me! From the moment you walk up to the entrance, someone is ready to happily greet you and hand you a menu. I'm not going to lie, I already knew what I wanted. I came here craving a quesadilla. We placed our orders and found a table. We grabbed untensils and salsa and prepared for our meals. The food was quickly delivered to our table, though there were plenty of other guests in the place. The quesadilla had just the right amount of chicken and cheese... and it has refried beans. Not many places add this to their quesadillas, it usually comes on the side. This was a very nice surprise. Now, this is a "fast food" kind of place, yet every few minutes someone came by how our meal was and if we needed anything. We ordered for four people with a total less than $30. Good food, good service and cheap... I'll be visiting them often!

This location's pretty new so I think I think they're still working some kinks out- they had a computer glitch or something of the sort, so we ended up waiting 30 minutes for our food(admittedly partially our fault, we completely lost track of time and didn't go up to ask for that long). They apologized for the ticket getting lost, and brought out the food within a few minutes. The cheese dip was good, the steak and cheese tacos were delicious, and I didn't try my fiancees nudie burrito but he liked it. I tried the the frozen sangria as well, which was good (definitely a strong red wine flavor, so steer clear if you like the lighter, fruitier sangrias). The managers on shift were terrific too, and waived the cost of the bill, and brought us another round of drinks and later key lime pie which was delicious. I'll definitely be going back. My only warning is that the place was very busy on a weekend night- the line was a little ways out the door, but the wait wasn't too bad and they brought chips and salsa for everyone in line to eat while they waited, which was a nice touch.

Living way way wayyyyy out in West Kendall, I am sooooohappy to not have to make the necessary trip to the other end of Kendall Drive to satisfy my Lime craving. Lime is the only fast casual mexican place I will go to. The food is always fresh and those Margarita's are perfect. I usually get the Chicken Flauta's and bum some chips from my fiance. Flauta's are great, I've tried the fish tacos which are really good fresh and you can tell the tortillas are fresh also. Last time, I had the sopapilla's- Well, I managed to get one out of my daughters hands. Light, fluffy and delicious! The owner Grant is always around and really nice and helpful and always friendly.

After careful consideration of what to expect when dining out around Kendall on 5 de Mayo we decided to try Lime. I was with my husband and kids, frankly didn't think we were even able to get a table in any Mexican restaurant on this popular date. To our surprise, we were so impressed with Lime and how well coordinated it was on this day. We waited only 10 minutes in the front line to order food. Immediately after ordering we found a table inside by the salsa bar. Our food was brought out within 15 minutes of ordering and we had about 5 employees including a manager approach our table to ask us if "we needed anything else". At one point they even brought out extra chips to the table. My favorite part of this place is the salsa bar which has all the way from mild to mouth exploding fiery sauces. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas and of course a corona. Fajitas were enough to feed 2 people, the meat was juicy, tender and cut just to the right size to fit in the tortilla. My husband ordered a margarita and wasn't able to finish it of how strong it was lol. I also like that they have a kids menu, outside seating, and drink specials during the week for happy hour. Back to the salsa bar which took my breath away!!! try the one with cilantro and the one with mango you won't be disappointed.

Finally tried this joint! Loved the music and their far out soda machine. Cashier was very helpful as were the rest of the staff. Consistently stopping by my table to see if I needed anything, very nice! HOWEVER, my chicken quesadilla was a little gritty. Bit sad, I was very much looking forward to it. Their queso dip had a very interesting taste, the cheese seemed different, but in a good way. This appetizer is good enough for 2-3 people. I'll give them another chance during their Happy Hour on Wed, Thurs and Fri.

Newest location in South Dade doing a great job. And they have one of those cool make-your-own-flavor Coke machines.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
