Went to this place expecting average quick Cuban food...It's across the street from Islas Canarias and I wanted a quick Cuban food fix without the wait,..Boy, was I surprised! The food here is outstanding! Definitely the best Cuban food I've had in years! I'm Cuban and can tell you the other yelper was 100% right...this is as close to home cooking as I've ever had in a restaurant. I will be going back again and again!

Server was very nice. Food was ok. The rice was dry. The plaintains were not hot and not as good as compared to Versailles. Restaurant was completely empty at the time I visited. Steak was seasoned well but was tough. Restaurant did not seem to understand the yelp deal I purchased and refused to honor it.

Got my meal delivered today, delivery was on time (45-50 min). The food was really good! I had the masas de puerco frita, rice and black beans. Portions were very big as well definitely enough for two. Good job!

I have to say being Cuban American myself this is by far the closest to my moms home cooking I've ever had. The one item in the menu that's stands out is the Tamal en Cazuela which they make only on Wednesday's, I have travelled all over different Cuban restaurants in Miami n none compare to theirs. It's the real McCoy, perfectly seasoned with pork chunks that r not fatty. My mouth waters as I write this, if you love corn or tamales, you must try this dish. The rest of the food is equally satisfying, the staff friendly and the prices are very low.

For breakfast, by far the worst Cuban place I've been in, the OJ was extremely acid, the cafe con leche was not hot, the French fries stale and cold as well. Not worth a long review. :-(

Buenisimo lugar, quede muy contenta con el servicio de las muchachas......comi un filete canciller con arroz y frijoles...todo bien cocinado....los frijoles en el punto que solo en casa se comen asi.......el lugar esta muy limpio , bonito y acojedor.....

When people think "Cafeteria" restaurant, they think "cheap" and "low quality". This one while reasonably priced is a class above your typical Latin Cafeteria in terms of cleanliness, decor and quality of food. I had the cordero (lamb) which was very tender and juicy; my wife had the tilapia with shrimp in garlic sauce which she found very tasty. We drank beer but noticed they also had a decent selection of wine. The restaurant looks like it was renovated and even includes an outdoor seating area which should be nice when it's not so hot and humid outside. There is plenty of parking spaces in this strip mall which is also a plus compared to other restaurants in the area where you can never find parking.

This restaurant serves quick and great meals and is extremely affordable. I come here often for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I'm always extremely pleased with the food and service.
