First time here; we ordered the shredded beef (ropa vieja) with white rice and sweet plantains. The food was very tasty, except the beef was a bit high on the condiment or salt side of the house. Not a bad taste, but a bit more control on that area will make this dish the best I ever had. We also ordered the Caldo Gallego (Spain traditional soup) and a Creme of Malanga. The bread definitely added a great touch. The service was fast and friendly. I say the decor was also fine, although I was in/out in 20 minutes. Great place, I'll be back!

Really love this place. Like most Cuban restaurants, the staff treats you like family. I always feel like I'm going to my grandmothers house for dinner (although abuela doesn't charge me, lol). Their daily specials are my go to menu options. I always get the pollo a la plancha for about $9. It comes with an unbelievable amount of food. I always have enough for dinner the next day. My boyfriend likes the vaca frita, which comes out to about $13 when not on special (again, huge portions). The batidos are a must-- I never leave without a batido de mamey for me and a batido de trigo for the hub. Breakfast is a dream as well-- cafe con leche and Cuban tostada galore. This is probably the cheapest meal you can get here, coming in at well under $10 for too much breakfast food. Overall, one of my favorite little places to grab a bite.

I came in for the 5pm-10pm Menu which is selected and geared to more healthy choices with still a few of the traditional a like Pan Con Bistec. Great food I ordered the simple Greek salad with chicken breast and it was Delilah. Service was fast and staff was extremely nice. We spoke about the restaurant and food the paintings inside which one of the staff members hand paints herself! Bonus!

Came with my 18 month old boy for a late breakfast. Staff were friendly - but sandwich order -treble verified still was wrong, pancakes heavier than a tire and waitress planted steaming milk next to my kid and out of my reach. Additionally a Simple order took forever Nonetheless, enjoyed ourselves, cleaned u up my mess, tipped well and likely to return

Great food. Home made meal....made like my grandmother. Small joint in The corner of 79 street SW 87 Ave. Ordered Chuletas with white rice and black beans. The service was great. Eda....my waitress was very friendly and understanding of my working on the table with my phone and lap top. RECOMENDED!!!

Came here for a quick breakfast & loved it. I had been here b4 when it was another restaurant & decided to give it another try, boy am I glad I did. It's redone inside, the staff is friendly & courteous plus the latin cuban style food is so yummy. We had scrambled eggs, omelette, toasts, croquettes, milk, orange juice, cafe con leche & cuban coffee which is very different from any other coffee. It's like a better quality espresso. I definitely wouldn't go on a date here but it's a nice stop to go w/coworkers or family.
