No frills restaurant with great Cuban food and excellent prices! The parking is abhorrent, just deal with it. It's worth it to have their pure de malanga and anything else on the menu! Cheapest Cuban breakfast in town $2.99!!!

This place is great when we feel like staying in bed and none of us wants to make breakfast. We've ordered (breakfast) here a couple of times already and the food is always great, standard cuban breakfast. Its right down the street so we can call to place the order and then just get dressed and swing by, the food is ready right away. I usually get the bacon along with fried eggs (to dip the tostada in) and give my cafe con leche to my wife. All in all, cheap, tasty, and ready quickly. Perfect for breakfast in bed when no one feels like cooking.

I can only speak of the caffeine delivery system... but damn it's good. Actually I have never even been inside! I just walk up to the counter to order. I know just enough spanish to say "Un colada por favor"... like a boss Soon after, that tiny Styrofoam cup slides across the counter and I am ready to indulge in super sweet, highly caffeinated, liquid gold. One of the great pleasures of living in Miami. One day I might brush up on my Spanish and actually open the door! Until then... "Un colada por favor"

Decent Cuban sandwich. Very nice lady that works here. Typical .75 Cuban coffee. Cheap ($.70) decent cigars. Grab a few while you're there.

This place is a little hidden gem of Miami that has stayed hidden because of the demographics of its customers. They are mostly cubans unfamiliar with apps like yelp and thus never spread the word of the this little hole in the wall. Hopefully this review can bring this place into the limelight. I have been all over Miami-Dade and tried the sandwiches and food from all the famous cuban food restaurants. I've been to Versailles, La Carreta, Palacios de los Jugos, Luis Galindo's Latin America, Islas Canarias, Sergios and many other cuban restaurants and I have to say that this place has some of the best food I have ever tried. So far I have only sampled their selection of sandwiches. I've had pan con bistec's (steak sandwich), sandwiches de pollo (chicken sandwich), sandwich cuban (cuban sandwich), and croqueta preparadas and I have found them to all be excellent and the best I have had in Miami. All there food is well prepared and affordable. I especially like that they take the time and effort to make their own shoe string potatoes chips. That level of attention to detail adds a little something extra that makes their sandwiches superior. However, I had not tried any of their meals yet but looking forward to updating my review in the future after a few more visits. In conclusion, this place is relatively unknown but serves excellent food. I was surpirsed when I discovered this place across the stree from one of Miami's most iconic cuban food places, the orginial "Palacios de los Jugos." I asked myself how they could compete given their location. However, after trying their food I understand how they have been able to do so. That is why I would strongly recommend this place.
