Okay so I rarely write a bad review cuz usually I try to focus on the silver lining... However this place is one place I have to warn everyone about. So let's start with the service cuz as Miamians we all know service isn't great in our city so we deal with it but this place is straight up rude. I get there and look at the Bfast menu and I figured out what I wanted. The girl at the register knows I've been standing there now for a good 5-6 minutes and didn't even acknowledge my existence. So finally after being ignored by everyone behind the counter I asked politely "is this where I order?" As the girl behind the counter looked up at me and straight up laughed in my face. So finally after a good additional 5 minutes the other lady behind the counter took my order for the eggs and ham n toast I wanted.. 10 minutes later I get a plate of scrambled eggs n ham greasier than Danny Zuko from "Grease". Any Who I wouldn't return to this grease pit if it was the last bakery on earth and I recommend everyone on yelp do the same! That is all everyone have a great day!

Everything is delicious, but the customer service is really bad. These people don't care how many customers are in line, or if you're only there for a $0.50 coffee, they won't even acknowledge that you're waiting for them.

Open 24 hours. Great menu and food is tasty. They offer free coffee 12am-5am. Nice party combos too.

Delicious pastries and sandwiches. Coffee is also really good. They get busy in the mornings when everyone is trying to fuel before work. They also have breakfast specials. Prices are reasonable.

The food is great!! It's always been great. Been coming to Karla on Flagler St for years but I've stop coming here because the service is the worst you can get. They are soooo sloooowww it makes me want to go in there and help them!! I used to buy more often but I just can't take it, I've taken my business somewhere else. Their pastries really are good, but the people who work there are super slow. Sometimes I wonder if this is a requirement when they are hired, because I've seen new people come and go and the service never gets better!! I think they could do so much better. Maybe the owners should get involved or hire a good manager?? I don't know, the place has so much potential but I'm sure they loose a lot of customers out of frustration because their service really is one of the worst i've experienced. It's really a shame, I hope things change one day although it's been like that for years.

The pastelitos and pan con tortillas are the best. But at this particular location the staff is miserable. I have never seen a smile or a buenos Dias. English or no English, they see me every week. They are rude, there can be 10 people waiting and there is never any urgency to help. Even the manager doesn't assist. It's horrible. I think I will gave to change locations and see if the service is better. Because the products are delicious

Yummy Pasteries While traveling on a business trip my coworker he brought me for a treat. It was not busy and we were waited on right away. The cases are filled with lots of yummy looking pasteries and baked goods, hot and cold. I decided on a few sweet pasteries and rice pudding. Waiting to have them later with my boyfriend. I also got a baked, yes baked, spinach empaneda it was wonderful. Filled with flavorful spinach and cheese filling and you were not left searching for the filling. I also got a guava pastry. Again full of filling and very tasty. We saw others eating HUGE sandwiches. Maybe next time.

The pastries and food is always awesome. The problem is this new system they incorporated. Where you have to order at the cashier, pay and wait. Doesn't sound like a horror story BUT when you have employees who don't speak English and can't work the terminal( I'm sure the language can be adjusted to Spanish) it can become one. I rather get my number wait order my food and pay. Don't think I will be coming back. Customer service had reached a new low.

Best bakery in Miami, I highly recommend it to anybody who wants to try Cuban pastries. They also make amazing croquetas and cuban sandwiches; and they're open 24/7.

Food is delicious !!!!! I love the pastelitos but service really suck!!! They are never in a hurry or try to help you. The staff is always talking about their problems instead of helping the customers. They should change the service staff!

Pastelitos.....24 hours a day! Indeed this bakery (and location) has the most amazing pastelitos in Miami. You know how I know that? Because this little piggy ate a dozen all by himself. Now available twenty four hours a day at this location (Flagler and 83rd Ave) how can you pass them up?! If you come in between midnight and five am (12:00 am - 5:00 am) you can get one free cafecito to wake you up. Be warned though, it gets crowded and they follow the number system with an almost draconian efficiency.... if you're not paying attention when your number is called, they will skip you. That means... NO PASTELITO FOR YOU! Tip: They have on-line ordering at karlabakery.net for your convenience.

SUPER SHITTY SERVICE ! The food I got was okay, but I waited forever for someone to even take my order, and when someone took my order they had a nasty attitude. The only perk is that it's 24 hours but honestly it's not worth it. Might as well go to ihop if you want food late at night.

There are a lot of things wrong with this bakery we bought galletas they were stale. Empanadas asked for a ham and cheese they gave me ground beef and with out taste had a empanadas with ham and cheese same tasteless. Cortadito no good to much milk not enough coffee and it was horrible. One thing customer service was O K.

The food and pastries are excellent however, the service is the worst I've seen. I used to eat from karlas several times a week, the past few months I've gone maybe twice, three if you count today..... after the service or lack of that i just received I've decided it's time to find another bakery altogether.

1 star because the pastellitos are awesome! The service is awful!!! You literally need to beg for someone to help you. My boyfriend and I come here all the time, but I think I'm taking our business else where. Please get a new staff!!!!

If you want to have your cuban fix when you are in Fountain Blue dont skip this place, coffee is great, the sanwiches are huge and tasty and all at a great price. The only thing is that it is packed most of the day so you have to wait and there are a few things you need to know before you order: fro example be very explicit to tell them you do not want sugar added to your coffee or else you will get honey instead of coffee, but hey thats the cuban way.

The pan con bistec is very good here. I recommended. The pastry rocks also

Karla Bakery definitely has the best pastelitos. They also serve a gigantic Cuban tostada with ham and cheese for only 2.80. Very budget friendly. I do not give them 5 stars because service is extremely slow. Most of the employees are quite rude, rarely do you ever get a smile. They need to work on their human resources. There is one young lady who is consistently nice but most of them need to learn good customer service.

Can't help myself but every time I'm in the area and stop at Karla's, I leave the place feeling like Santa on Christmas, fat and with a bag full of goodies. The pastries, the croquetas, the empanadas, the sweets, you name it, you can't go wrong.

The Cuban Pastelitos were ok, nothing out of this world. La carretas pastelitos are still the best for me...The service is horribly slooooow
