Cool little spot. Perfect to catch a Fútbol o football game. The food is good , the pizza superb. And just enough draft beers (20) to give you a qualified selection without over burdening you with choices.

Great place, atmosphere, clean, and the food is fantastic! Best pizza in Miami. All the Italian dishes are really good, especially the baked ziti and lasagna. You can get everything from wings, hot dogs, burgers, to churrasco, which is very big and good! Love this place. It has become our favorite hangout.

Came for lunch. This place was pretty dead in the afternoon. Great value for lunch, offers specials everyday for $9.99. I ordered a steak quesadilla, it was amazing! Whatever cheese they used, it was GOOD.

My apologies please understand... For me to take time out of my life to type a review means a lot... To go order: Worst lobster raviolis ever!!! I've should of know not to order it.. I've being to hole in the wall strip clubs and had gourmet style raviolis at least they boiled it and put a little bit of effort into it. It's was so under cooked even a 5 year old would tell the difference and complain about it. The sauce I'll definitely know I'll be burping it up later and the salad that came with it... REALLY???!!!2 day old lettuces in a open bag in the wrong part of the not working as well fridge. That more then likely needs to be replace like 3 years ago. The only one thing that was decent was the garlic rolls and how can u mess that up?? It's bread and garlic with a touch of olive oil... Thoughts: $.99 Raman noodles with shrimp VS $19.19 lobster ravioli with a coke tab = I choose the Raman noddles any day and it's taste good raw.. It makes me scared to order anything else.. Sorry guys

This is my spot to go to for everything because everything I want is there. Staff and waiters are awesome and attentive. Food is always on point. I bring all my friends and family here. It's great any day of the week and if you enjoy pizza you can't go wrong with theirs. I've been coming here for almost 7 years now and have seen the place evolve to my go to spot in West Miami.

Horrible service. Waitress didn't communicate well. They brought out our salads on dirty plates. When we brought it to their attention she just changed the plates with the same salad.. She denied it and then when another waitress came over she told her she did do that. And when we told her nevermind we will go elsewhere she still insisted on charging us for our meals even though we didn't take a bite.

I love their PIZZA!!! And Veronica is the best waiter in the world!

The pizza and the wings are really good, and that's it. The last time I went I was in the mood for pasta and I made the mistake of ordering the Chicken Frances. Pretty much the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted in my life. It was really, really bad. Also, other reviewers have mentioned that their cc info has been stolen so I always pay cash! You never know...

Updated review: Lack of menu items and increased prices make me not want to eat here. I was happy with a local bar with decent prices. Now your burger is $14!!! WTF.

My friend and I came here after a grueling licensure exam to pound back some cold ones and grab some grub. Their drinks and food are pretty cheap compared to ever increasing price of other restaurants. We ordered 50 wings for $36.95 and a couple pints. Pretty good experience. After reading other yelp reviews, I may need to keep track of my credit card statement... Hope it's not true because I love this place.

Sweet waitress...BUT...that's about it. It's in an ugly shopping strip. My hubby really wanted to try it, thinking it's nice to patronize mom & pop places, but I saw a red flag just because it's an Italian place in Sweetwater. The garlic rolls are the only thing that's okay although they were sitting in a puddle of oil. We got a cheese pizza as an app. It had almost no sauce. It was inedible :( My dinner came with salad. I got the Caesar salad which had some brown pieces of lettuce. I ordered the chicken alfredo fettucine...Yuck! It was a bowl of bland alfredo soup with some fettucine in there & some chopped pieces of yucky chicken. The chicken was yucky because it was not marinated at all. It was cooked & topped with some pepper & that's it. It was smelly in a chickeny kind of way I can't explain but maybe you know what I mean (gag). My husband got the chicken parm with spaghetti. His sauce was watery. He said the chicken was just okay. His beer was cheap, but I was surprised that my Mandarin Absolut with water was 7.95...For a place like this, I expected maybe 5.50. This was the worst $72 (with tip) spent ever.

The place was great. Small and too the point. Great staff reasonable prices. Accommodating as well! I went with some friends and spent a solid 3 hours had a few rounds of drinks and lasagna and pizza which were all amazing and fresh. Highly recommended!

I've come here many nights on drunken adventures for their karaoke on Wednesdays or to pre game before we go out on a Saturday night. The beer specials here are solid and the pizza oven at this particular location is a huge plus because the pizza comes out perfect. I've had the the cheese pizza here many nights but tonight was my first night trying the meat lovers pizza. Umm where has this been all my life? A perfect companion to the bud-light tower we ordered. I swear I was in pizza heaven, this pie had all the fix-ins, from italian sausage to real strips of bacon and slices of ham and pepperoni, this thang hit the spot.

Good Neighborhood Sports Bar Italian Sports Grill: At first I was skeptical because I don't usually associate Italian food with bar food but, boy was I surprised. Menu includes wings, pizza, and pasta! Favorites such as baked ziti and chicken Alfredo with garlic rolls. On game nights, beer pitcher and wing specials for only $5.00. Establishment is clean and newly renovated. Great place to go for dinner or just to watch a game. Keep up the good prices! And ...like the owner states, "We never close until the game is over!"

I came here to this "sports grill", which is located in a strip mall near the Mall of the Americas just off the 826, with a handful of others to watch Game 7 of the Miami Heat Finals. On this night, it was perfect for what we were looking for...I'd already eaten before I came here, but tried a slice of veggie pizza, which was good, and they had a special where you could order a pitcher of beer and 5 wings for $7.95 before tax. Not bad, considering this place was bound to be full of Heat fans all here to watch the game, and they could've named their price for booze and food on this night! Before I'd come here, I went to a happy hour with some co-workers in Brickell and that place was a mad house, even at 7:30 p.m. as people were filing in to watch the game. In contrast, I arrived here at Italian Sports Grill just before tipoff...It was full but not packed, the service was still attentive even with that many customers, and though it was full of rowdy basketball fans who were drinking it up, I never saw anyone get out of line. My only critical comments would be that, with this many people, their air conditioning system had a bit of a difficult time keeping up; A few times the peeps at our table could be seen fanning themselves with paper plates to try and keep cool. Also, for a place that bills itself as a sports bar/grill, it'd be nice to see them upgrade at least some of their flat screen TVs. The one closest to us had a heavy green tint to the picture, and I noticed that, nearly every TV around the place had a slightly different color or tint to the picture, rather than all the TVs being "balanced" the same. Other than that, this place would be a good option to come nearly any night of the week, and according to their posters and signage, they nearly always have some kind of food and/or drink specials happening.

Very Shady establishment.... Will never return... Known for credit card scam... It was a coincident that several of people I know and i all got our credit card numbers stolen and used in various parts of Miami within the same time span after dining at ISG... To make matters worst this isnt the first time as I been told by others but was told that employee was fired and now it is happening again.... Im new to Miami, if I would of known I would never have come here or better yet used my card there.... The food is ok and the drinks are cheap,. But what you get is mediocre to horrible service and ILLEGAL irregular charges on your credit card... Whats also funny is i left a comment on their facebook acct and it got deleted by the owner of the page. I bet the reviews below are by employees... BE WARNED fellow yelpers! Ghetto establishment...

I simply love this place. Best pizza in Miami in my opinion. Great staff and it has definitely come a long way. Try this place out if you're on this side of town.

I literally work across the street and having a local hang was awesome. The service in the beginning was great and the thursday lunch specials arent to bad too. So why would I rate what I considered my local pub so low now? 1. The service has gotten worse everytime we go in, I dont know if its becuase I used to go there everyday for lunch and happy hours that they get used to us and make us wait longer. 2. The food has declined in steadily. The pizza isnt as good as it once was, or the Churrasco, or the pasta (too much heavy cream) 3. This is the BIGGEST reason that I would not recommend this place to anyone. You can not feel safe that your information is secure i.e. your credit/debit information. Again working across the street I normally have a group of friends that all to there for lunch or happy hours and quite surprisingly 10 of my co-workers have had their credit cards charged fraudulently in the last week. Look the prices are cheap, 2 for 1 happy hour is a good deal and the 1/2 price appetizers are decent too but all that does not offset the fact that someone in that establishment is skimming credit information. BEWARE using a card here.. Recommend using cash only!

I have been to ISG a couple of times, since I live in the area and was told the food's pretty good. Well, the food was actually pretty good the first couple of times I went, even though the service was dreadful, but lately even the food has gone downhill. The main reason I would not recommend this place is because they're known for scamming credit cards. I know of more than a handful of people that have all been victims of credit card fraud after eating here, myself included. While I cannot prove my card number was used by an ISG employee, I find it odd that so many others have had the same problem here. Coincidence? Don't think so... but hey, if you want mediocre food and lackluster service, this place is for you. Just make sure you pay in CASH!

DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!! More than 20 people had their credit cards scammed in my company these past two weeks. We work across the street and we all go there during happy hours!!!!

Happy Hour 4-7 pm M-F and half of appetizers. This is a nice local Italian bar/restaurant in a low key shopping plaza. Always a nice spot to go to for a late night snack to watch a Heat game or something during the week. Full bar. I don't usually go on Thursdays or Fridays since they really don't have any drink specials going on. (bars should have specials each day especially on a Friday when everyone wants to go out for a drink) Best nights to go seem to be M-W. Food has been decent but honestly I usually just go for drinks and apps. Thumbs up to the chicken tenders and philly cheese steak. Have yet to try the pizza.

I just recently (6 months)discovered this place, and I have really enjoyed everything so far. The garlic rolls are awesome, the Alfredo was great, lobster ravioli is fantastic and the pizza gives any other in Miami a run for its money. The meatballs come second to none, they are tender and moist, and go great with the rolls. I eat ISG at least once a week, and have enjoyed every meal.

Was rushing around and we had just left Tiger Direct, wanting to grab a quick bite before our daughter had a flight at MIA. Grabbed my phone and found this place. From the outside it looks small and not to inviting. When you walk in it is clean, fairly good space, TV screens, booths, a nice bar area. We ordered: Tuna Salad, Eggplant, and Francese Chicken. Our waitress was accommodating and very sweet. Prices are very reasonable with most dishes under $10 a person. Good variety on their menu with sandwiches, wing's, pasta, pizza, and awesome deals on beer. This would be a great place to watch a game and very reasonable. The little garlic rolls were drenched in oil and garlic, oh good rolls for sure. The food was good. It was perfect for the price and when you are hungry. Nothing out of the ordinary nor memorable but decent. I would come back to check out a game, great sport's bar with some really good deals. Fun atmosphere.

This place was WONDERFUL! It's tucked away in a shopping mall and looks less than inviting. But as I always say, looks can be deceiving! Inside, the decor is awesome and TVs are plentiful. You'd be hard pressed not to find a TV to watch. We both opted for different specials: the fish of the day (bass) and the churrasco. The specials come with garlic rolls, the first order was delicious and the second was significantly drier and not nearly as good. The bass was A-MA-ZING. To die for! The churrasco was better than at 94th Aero Squadron and for a fraction of the price! We had a coupon but went to the wrong location (there's apparently another ISG location in town) and my absolute favorite part was that a kind gentleman took the initiative to ask the owner if they could still redeem our certificate since we only realized it after our meal was over. The gracious owner obliged, thus making us very satisfied customers. Way to go ISG, I wish you much success!

This place is a pleasant surprise. Plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sporting event. The food is amazing. The pizza has to be the best in Miami. Garlic rolls are amazing. The chicken parm is awesome. And last the meatballs. Oh god the meatballs are second to none. Definately recommend this place for Italian food at its best.

Love this hidden little gem. Right across the street from mall of the Americas. The pizza and wings are great. They have a full bar, 22 beers on draft, and great happy hour specials. I'd like to watch a game here one day. They have TVs all over the place. Must try

This place is one of those hidden finds. Located adjacent to Mall of America, this little hole in the wall offers Italian delights with the feeling of home. We decided to order a sampling of everything and pretty much nothing disappointed. The pizza was reminiscent of NY style, thin crust and homemade sauce. My husband ordered the chicken francese which offered the perfect lemony finish and you can have it alongside a green salad. Onion rings were perfect fried which a great batter. They serve you garlic rolls and pretty much this is what you smell when you walk in and it gets your stomach rumbling. This place is more the nieghborhood Italian place, nothing fancy, just simple good food. Next time my husband is in the mood from a little Italian I am sure we will come back.

the best pizza in MIAMI, hands down. I order cheese with tomato and garlic and it never disappoints. It's become my favorite place to go for pizza, and the garlic rolls melt in your mouth, drenched in oil and fresh garlic. They almost always have beer specials. Highly recommend this place if your in the area.

What a great little place. I found the place just looking for a restaurant, that wasn't a chain restaurant and randomly walked in with one of my buddies. We were pleasantly surprised! Cheap drinks, a gratuitous amount of food for cheap (and good), and lots of TVs for sports games. Best place to go to if you wanna watch a Miami sports team play. They have 3 good waitresses and a laid back manager, which helps to set the vibe in that restaurant. The pizza is damn good and so is their garlic bread. I go to this restaurant at least 4 times a month....if you don't know about this place...."....you gone learn today!..."

I used to go to this place all the time. You would think that the service would get better when you're a regular but it has progressively gotten worse. Not only do they neglect patrons for an extended amount of time, but they're also rude. I used to go in about once a week and now I won't be coming back.

This spot is definitely not what you'd expect. The location is right off the Palmetto and Flagler by Mall of the Americas. Came here on a kareoke night and after a few beers I actually sang a tune. Had some wing and beer both to which to my liking. They have a great atmosphere and reasonable prices. It's a great little spot to have some fun.

This place provides what seems to be eternally missing in Miami: A very good time WITHOUT a heaping handful of pretentiousness. It's situated in the middle of an easy-to-get-to strip mall with ample parking, so there's 0 hassle when it comes to getting there and finding a spot for your car. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a sports bar - LOTS of TVs (over 8 sets hung at a good level), sturdy tables (no wobblers), and an incredibly friendly staff. The food menu is varied, the pizza and fries are both good. The pizza is comparable to Sbarro's as a baseline, but better quality. The fries were pretty simple, with a helping of Cheese Wiz over them, but they were crispy and well-cooked...I really enjoyed snacking on them while playing dominoes. They have domino night on Tuesdays, and Karaoke night on Wednesdays. I've been to both, and both are a very good time, karaoke especially. Do NOT come to this place expecting super-loud music, a row of d-bags sitting at the bar, and a tightly compact crowd fist-pumping like champs all night. It's a very relaxed, laid-back, fun crowd, and it doesn't get super-packed (which I find to be a big, big, big plus). I'd like to mention Karaoke night again because I've been to it three times now, and I've had a blast every single time. The beer specials are great, and the pure, overall fun is hard to duplicate. There's a reason I've gone back 3 times. Oh, one quick note: One uniquely cool thing about this place is that the little "strip mall" hallway outside provides a nice hang-out spot to take a breather from the events inside. Small groups tend to go out there and hang out, and whenever I've gone out there, I've typically made a new friend or two, so this place is great for people who might be looking to expand their social circles.

This place was awesome. No one in our group had been before so we didnt really know what to expect. It was kareoke last night. Not sure if they have that every night. It was super fun. The food: spicy chicken wings: Delicious! The beer: Ocktoberfest. very good. Dessert: Brownie sundae: was not too bad. The service was good. If your in the mood for a fun place this is your place! I am not a kareokier and I still managed to have an awesome time! Will definitely be going back. The only downside was it was a bit noisy. There are plenty of tv's....even in the bathroom!!!

  • Alex M.

What a pleasant surprise. Where to start, let's begin with the pastas. Lobster ravioli, need I say more. Lasagna was above average. Pizzas are surprisingly good. Usually sports bars don't have great pizza. This place is the exception to the rule. And finally prices are oh so reasonable. If you're in the area and have a high calorie quota then this is a must stop.

Being a huge fan of Sports Grill I was intrigued when I saw this restaurants' sign from the street. And after getting a menu on my door, I was even more intrigued. When I finally dined in the restaurant I was greatly pleased. My party got the wings, garlic rolls, pizza and burger. All were good. The wings are nice and meaty. They come with different sauces, we got the buffalo and they were great; they had a very enjoyable kick. The pizza was thin, New York style. Very tasty and a great price for the portion. Garlic rolls were enjoyable. The burger was spectacular. The beef patty is nice and thick and very flavorful. They serve it with the usual toppings (lettuce, onions, tomato's). I actually went back another time and just ordered the burger. IT"S THAT GOOD! This is a nice, pleasing restaurant. It has a good atmosphere, clean, spacious, plenty of TV's to catch the game. Overall, it's a great little restaurant with very reasonable prices for good quality food.

This please is considered a neighborhood sports bar. They have beer specials for all Miami sports games and have TV's in every corner so you wont miss a pass! The food is obviously Italian but they do have burgers. I have tried both and they are excelltent. Last time I had the chicken francese, shared it with my mom and still had left overs for lunch. They give you two huge chicken breasts paired with the past of your choice, salad, and garlic bread. My husband and dad had the burgers and fries which were really good, but I think my pasta was better. I have never tried the pizza but there were numerous take-outs while I was there so I am sure they are good. Come check this place out if your in Chesta!

Where else will you find Grolsch or Amber bock for $1.95 or pitchers for $7.95! The garlic rolls are great! Pizza a big fan. I haven't had anything else but most of my coworkers have their pasta ( which includes a salad and 3 garlic rolls ) there and they seem to devour it.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
