First time here, and first impressions? Not great. It's like sports grill, down to the tables...but we gave it a chance. We sat at a high top booth Took a while for us to get greeted, we were given menus and then the server walked off to a table in the center where a guy was sitting by himself. Throughout our whole time here, she spent half of it talking to him. So obviously they're dating. But she paid attention to...no one else. An older couple next to us commented about the wait for their beer, so it wasn't just us. Someone else, a tall girl with short hair, approached us and took out appetizer order. She was very friendly. We ordered dolphin fingers, and based on other reviews, I was excited! They tasted boxed. Put some hot sauce on em, meh. Keg South nearby has dolphin fingers, I don't really like that place and even then theirs are way better. I was psyched about their fish tacos! But so blah about the experience thus far that we just asked for the check...upon doing so, we both realized we forgot our wallets. Luckily we live pretty close, so he ran over to get his wallet and told me to just order another beer...he got back the same time I got my beer. The short haired girl had left for a while to go grab something for other staff members and wasn't here for a while...when she came back she was back on it talking to people and she was the one that got us new beers. Short haired girl, you can't do it by yourself. Thank you for being so good - you save this place. Tiny girl talking to the ONE guy the entire time, you're lucky you're cute. That's the only reason you have a job here. Patron guy that tiny girl is talking to, maybe tell her to tend to other customers? Thanks. I'm SO CONFUSED as to how this place has such a high rating...we were so excited about the idea of having a great neighborhood bar...dreams crushed.

I came here on the recommendation of my brother about 2 weeks ago and now I've already been there 3 times! The vibe of the place is EXACTLY what you would expect from a "Hole in the Wall"! However, the SERVICE and FOOD is why I keep coming back. First time I came here I tried the dolphin soft tacos... AWESOME! (ask for the guacamole, which they provide on request for free!) Second time I tried the BLT... To be honest it's hard to mess this up, but the bun made the sandwich. Third time I tried the tuna appetizer... A little over-seasoned, but if that's me nit-picking (honestly, this isn't even a complaint, but I couldn't give them a 5 star rating because of it) EVERY time I've been in here, the attentiveness of the waitresses and bartenders (even the bar backs) have been top-notch and something you would expect at a higher-end place. Can't wait to go back today and try my 4th different thing!

Some of the best smoked brisket I've ever tried. Anything from their smoker is highly recommended. Wings are excellent as well.

Love the Hot BBQ wing and Honey Blackened Wings. Also great fries and good pint prices!

It is what it is....but so much better! Small sports pub with LOADS of TV all around, including two projector screens on the wall. Great place to watch a game! Beers and food - what you expect but very tasty and very inexpensive. The service is friendly and on point! I think I found my new place to watch games :D

I live here during football season. Arguably the best wings in Miami. Not as saucy as sports grills' - which i prefer from time to time. Also the fries are on POINT. Ive had the fish tacos as well, thats a nice changeup. But the wings are the reason this place is special.

I think there are a few hole in the wall pub. The one we went to were in kings bay. We were looking for a cheap place to have a quick bite. We both had a Sam Adams and shared a philly steak. It cost us $24.00 the beer was expensive! $5.00 for each Sam Adam. The name of this place is definitely a great description of this place a "hole in the wall". Steak sandwich was good it came in a brioche bread instead of a sub. Nice touch.

Good luck getting acceptable service here if you have any specific diet. I'm a vegetarian and on two occasions had to basically fight for a simple veggie taco on Taco Tuesday. The bartenders are rude as all hell and the menu is apparently written in the Ten Commandments because they won't substitute a damn thing. All in all, horrible experiences every time. Thanks, but no thanks. Bye, Felicia.

Been here several times. The wings are delicious, just as good or even better, than Sports Grill. The flavor and texture are consistent.

I'm Pretty adventurous when it comes to new dining experiences. my husband suggested that we try Hole in the wall pub. I excitingly obliged, albeit a bit skeptical. Driving up It does in fact seem like a hole in the wall. The place is small, lights are dim, music loud. Just my kind of place. The seating is similar to sports grill as well as the menu if not better. The service is questionable however the staff is rather nice. The wings were the starter and the main attraction. Between the honey and the teriyaki it was hard to chose a winner. They both were perfect. The shrimp fat boy special was excellent. Next to that came in the brisket sandwich. It was Full of flavor and the bread was perfect. So much so that my husband who ordered it ended up having to switch his plate with mine. I had the dolphin tacos. The soft shell taco had a great taste but the fish was lacking flavor. Not sure if it was in need of salt or spice but they definitely needed something. I was pleasantly surprised by this hole in the wall and anticipate coming back.

Really is a hole in the wall, but not a dive. Important distinction. They have good original wings, nice seasoned fries and serve coke. All the basics for good bar food. And, family friendly. Convenient location, in Kings Bay plaza. So after an afternoon of errands, which probably included a stop at one of the shops in Kings Bay anyways, good place for a lunch/dinner with kids in tow. Same good choice for casual drinks with friends when you're not looking to dress to impress anyone.

So we were spending the night in the area and went to a couple of bars that were a little to shiny and full of pretty people, we jumped in a cab and told the driver to take us to a bar. More specifically a locals joint and this is where we ended up, and ended up there until closing! It is kind of hard to find as it is kind of hidden in the corner of the strip mall but once you walk in you are greeted to a true locals joint, kind of dumpy and my kind of place. We sat at the bar and immediately made friends with those around us and had amazing service. And then we ordered some food, and wow was it good! Blackened wings amongst the best I have ever had, anywhere. And the tuna is amazing! A plate you would expect to find in a 5 star joint in south beach, but 1/10th of the price. I wish I lived near here I would definitely be a regular. So many places could take tips from this place and how to serve a cold beer and decent bar food.

Really fun bar with a lively, packed crowd on a Friday night. Wings were nice, fries were really good (half order is a huge basket). Staff was super friendly!! We wanted to find a place playing the Oregon/Arizona game and they did not disappoint. Patrons were all having a great time and a nice gentleman at the end of the bar even bought us a round since we are new to the area. Most if the beers are light and domestic but can't fault a sports bar for that. Place is hard to find. It's tucked into the corner of the strip mall down from the McDonalds FYI.

Ducked in for a business meeting to talk bikinis, social media, and merchant processing and was glad Kristen picked this joint. I've visited the original over on US1 and this one has the same rustic and unsophisticated charm. It also has a HUGE high-def projector with a movie-theater sized TV screen for watching sports. SCORE! The friendly, affable, helpful and attractive manager (Janine) made our visit extra special. I enjoyed Dolphin tacos and they were awesome. 3, delish tacos were almost more than I could finish. I also appreciate that they serve Siracha sauce. It goes SO well with the tacos. We also got to try / sample the brisket special. It tasted AMAZING, but I'd seen positive Yelp chatter about the tacos, so that's what I did. Pabst Blue Ribbon's in the can are always $1.50. Yeah, a buck fitty. That is some good SCORE right there. I will be back. I have to try the brisket. And the ribs on Friday. And more PBR is calling my name. Check it, Cabeza OUT!

This is my go to bar in Kendall. Mostly, because its next to the best arcade in town and it is extremely affordable. They occasionally have PBR on draft which is a poor girl's dream come true. If not, Mon-Thurs they have half off craft beer after 9:30. They have a pretty nice selection (about 10-15?) on draft including my favorites Guinness and Fat Tire. When I went today they had Shock Top Raspberry... Yum! This is the ultimate football spot. The place is small and COVERED in TVs. There isn't a spot in the bar where you can't see the game. I've watched plenty of Dolphins and Heat games here and its always a good time. The food is pretty good and at a great price. Order a half fry and you're good for two people to munch and have a few drinks. Order a meal and you certainly won't be disappointed. The only negative is sometimes it can take a while to get a waitress' attention. When you do though, they are very very friendly. But there have been a few occasions when I am waiting to cash out. I would definitely recommend to a friend. In fact I have...and they always come back!

One word: Nasty Food sucked. Accompanying potato chips were stale. Kitchen was so disgusting looking that I am not sure why I stayed.

Best place for locals in this part of miami! Amazing wings, the best mahi sandwich in Florida, tuna tacos if kill for, and well you just have to show up. It's hard to find, no sign which is great. All the bartenders rock.

  • Brian H.

Had lunch there with my two buddy's and the Philly Steak with hot and barbecue wings were outstanding. Wings were crispy on the outside and meaty with being done perfectly on the inside. Steak sandwich was huge packed full of nice tender meat and all the fixings. Service was fast and the waitress/barmaid was very good and mighty sporty looking I may add. I don't always comment on places like this, but they deserve kudos. Difficult place to find with even a gps, hence the name? I've been here for two weeks from Rhode Island and have eaten in a lot of restaurants so far and this is one of those places to remember to go back too.

This is a welcome replacement to the Tex-Mex cafe that was in this spot before, I place I used to love many years ago but has since fallen into an unrecoverable state of craptitude. This is a decent little local sports bar serving up good food at very reasonable prices, almost everything on the menu is well under the $10 mark. Alcohol is also reasonably priced with a decent selection of beer to choose from. The best part of this little hole in the wall is the video arcade next door, complete with retro games and pinball to more modern shoot-em-up stuff. With a combination of good food, cheap prices, and entertainment right next door, this should be your next Friday night destination!

Best wings in Miami! Fries are pretty Epic too. Cool atmosphere, with no nonsense simple menu. Great for hanging out, but also great take out for wings as well.

I give a 3 stars solely based on the food, the service was non-existent! I've never been in a restaurant that I had to get up and pick up my drinks, food and check from the bar! I went with my family and every time we needed something we had to go to the bar. We sat there and until I asked if anyone was coming to take our order after 10 mins, she says "oh yeah you order from the bar", if it wasn't that my family was starving I would have left. Super crammed and the tables are right up on each other. Sorry but I rather spend my money somewhere else!

Came in during a "shift change" received appetizer a few seconds after meal. Waitress disappeared. No one gave a shit.. First time here. Commented to blonde woman with crazy hair. Seemed like manager. Totally was blown off. No apology. Then had to flag down a food runner for service.

I stopped in here for a quick dinner yesterday. We ordered a burger, garlic wings, and the jalapeño bites. The food was just okay. The jalapeño bites had cheddar cheese in them and too much breading...I would have preferred cream cheese. The burger was decent and big enough to share. The garlic wings were nasty..it seems they cook them, then coat them in raw garlic. I scraped off most of it, and dipped them in the jerk sauce. Our waitress was nice and efficient, but the kitchen was slow. We waited a good 30 minutes for our meal and there were only 5 or 6 other parties in the place. I won't be back!

The ribs are amazing and so are the burgers along with the natural cut french fries. The beer is always cold and there are plenty of tv's to catch the game. It's just a really cool laid back sports bar. The food is pretty amazing, especially the chicken wings!

Great little sports grill. Excellent burgers and fries. Many beers on tap. Used to go to Keg South, however, Hole in the Wall is heads and tails better.

After hearing my parents rave about hole in the wall, my boyfriend and I decided to meet them there and drove from south beach. What a mistake. I only give this two stars because the food was very good. If it was decent, I would give them zero stars for our horrible experience. We ordered our food and were told that certain things may come out first because thats how its done there. Having worked in many restaurants I didnt think that was a good practice but whatever. We were also told the kitchen was a mess, another red flag. Our appetizers came and the wings and poppers were good. The rreal issue came with the food. My boyfriend father and I received our dolphin sandwiches. We waited for a bit, still no food for my mother and 94 year old grandmother. The ordered the seared tuna and pulled pork sandwich, which by their own standards should have been out first. We reported it to the waitress, and I watched as she just went about her business. About 10 minutes later we asked again. Nothing. At thatpoint she started purposely avoiding us - no eye contact, no apologies, no explanations. After 20 minutes (and watching many people get their food) I asked to speak to a manager. The girl who came over said she was "basically" the manager (WHAT). She was nice enough and offered to comp the sanddwich (we had gotten the tuna after about 20 minutes). However,, she took no responsibility. Told us how bad the kitchen was and how they had been "doing this all night". A manager is supposed to ensure a restaurant runs smoothly. Not once did I se her or my waitress go back to ask the cooks where the sandwich was, and then she blamed her staff? After about 40 minutes my 94 year old grandmother got her food with barely an apology. The waitress completely stopped serving us. Its a shame because the food is good, but if the service and management does not chane this place will not last. As my grandmother remarked as we were leaving "this place is for the birds".0

The best wings in Miami. And really worth the trip. It's tucked away in the far corner of a nondescript shopping center at SW 144th and US1, but once you find it, you'll be glad you did. It's really just a bar with some very good food. This is our go-to choice for tailgate chow!

Just ate here with my girlfriend while catching the heat game. We shared the pulled pork nachos which were delicious and a very generous portion (enough for us to share and be content just off that!). Draft Beer after 10pm is half price and everything on the menu is very well priced. Atmosphere is very cozy and friendly, service was the best you could ask for and they have TVs everywhere ontop of a huge projector screen so your guaranteed to never miss any your game's action. One of, if not, the best sports bar for the price, quality, and service in miami. Will definetely come back again!

  • Ryan C.

Good neighborhood bar, about 15 TV's some are in awkward places but the wings are comparable to sports grill and beers are as cheap as $2. Great place to watch a game and chill. Staff is friendly and food comes out quick.

Good food. Loved the brisket and the service. Will be going back. A vast improvement to the old restaurant that it replaced.

The beer selection is extremely poor. They have exactly 1 craft beer selection on the menu. Hop Gun IPA from local brewer Funky Buddha. Other than that it's all American adjunct lager and associated "beer water." If that's the kind of beer you drink then it won't be an issue for you. But if you enjoy quality beer with your food, then this is not the place for you. The menu selections are standard restaurant/bar fare. Burgers, sandwiches, etc. I had a salad with a salmon filet on top. The salmon was seasoned and cooked just fine, but the salad was very disappointing. There was simply nothing on the menu that looked interesting. I like wings and burgers as much as the next person, but unless they switch up the beer selection It's extremely unlikely I will ever go there again.

Came by for lunch with some co-workers. This place has a pretty cool bar atmosphere. I liked it! They had great service and man was that food GREAT! We shared the mild & honey garlic wings. The mild wings were my favorite! The honey garlic wings were just ok. Not too crazy about them at all. I had the grilled dolphin tacos and everyone else had the Brisket sandwich special. My tacos were good! The chips they came with were crunchy and warm. Loved it! I tried a bit of the brisket sandwich and WHOA!! Was that amazing!! You have go to try it! I'm trying to eat a bit healthier so I didn't go with it but next time I'm gonna order that if they have it. Love this place. Will definitely come back soon!

The food is great, honey wings, the honey bbq wings and the pulled pork nachos are awesome but the service at this location is horrible. I called to make a to go order, no one answered. So i drove over to place an order and wait there, no one tends to you when you walk in and stand at the door for fifteen minutes. After waiting near the door i chose to ask the bartender to place the order and it took longer to get her attention. Finally the order was placed and the food came out pretty quickly. This place has awesome food but is lacking an awesome floor staff.

The food was good the service was bad. Waited forever for menus they screwed up the wings. Could have been great but they need more staff.

I live about a minute away from this place. Been here multiple times. Its a pretty cozy place. Not big. They got booths, long tables, and a bar. Just beer and wine for sale. Very cheap beer, the food has gotten better every time I've gone. The wings are solid. The beer is cold. There are a lot of TVs there. Good vibe during the games. Its a nice little place to visit if you're around the area.

Place is good food is good but prepare yourselves for a loooooooooooong looooooooongggg wait time kitchen is incredibly slow and they don't even have that much going on, also due to the wait staff enjoying the large tv's in the place hey who can blame them they really are big tv's lol.

Good American bar. Nice servers. Great TV viewing and a quality sound system. Clean, open kitchen. Pulled pork sandwich was really good. Also had wings. Very delicious. Spicy and sweet. I very much approve. Will definitely be back soon.

Don't go into the place thinking it's a fancy restaurant, after all, the name says it all...."hole in the wall". It's clean, friendly and has great wings. Try the jerk wings if you don't mind serious heat. This is definitely our new neighborhood hangout. My wife always gets the tuna tacos....yummy.

    (5)
  • Diana G.

Wings are ok. Service is average - had to ask waitress several times for hot sauce and other condiments. Nice decor and atmosphere, a lot of TVs. Very limited wine selection.
