Hmm OK so its in the middle of the mall. If you want that delicious ice cream you will have to sit in the benches or tables right next to it. I don't really want any witnesses to my ultimate pigginess when I eat it. Fine.. A girl has to do what a girl has to do. The Sundays with pineapple, strawberries and chocolate are delicious, the ice cream itself being stellar. Yes, the service is hit or miss. Purchase only in desperate need of sugar.

Strolled by in a hurry, still suffering from withdrawals after having just learned that Gelateria Parmalat had closed in the mall. So I succumbed to my cravings for some dulce de leche ice cream. I was truly in a hurry so I didn't pause to think that they were charging 4 dollars and 5 cents of a small cone and one scoop of ice cream. Only when I got to my car did I realize that I had just paid FOUR DOLLARS and 5 CENTS for one lousy scoop of ice cream on top of a small cone. I should give myself 1 star !!!

What can i say, 2 small cones with one scope of Ice Cream, and a small cup of Ice Cream came up to $13 and change. I was a little Floored with that seeing as though I went to Carvel last weekend and spent about $20 for five people with large cones and medium size cups. It is what it is. While i must admit the Chocolate midnight flavor was good, it wasn't one scoop in a small cup good.

If it wasn't for the fact that I knew my 3-year old son would be pacified by the ice cream while he ate it, I would have walked away from Haagen-Dazs. There were no less than six servers behind the counter standing around chatting while four patrons waited in line and only one server was attending to them. That's just poor service. Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream is expensive; I now see it's because they employ slackers.
