Love the bagels and spreads. The staff is PHENOMENAL! Super friendly and welcoming. If you're a regular the staff learns your name, your usual order and make suggestions based on your food/drink preferences. Next door to Starbucks. Right on Miracle Mile. They also have free Wi-Fi and always have a great music selection playing.

Best bagels in town! I love my plain bagel toasted with cream cheese. Yummmmmmmm :) The only thing I hate is that they over pack it with cream cheese!

On the weekday mornings I am always floored by the fact that this place is always packed. Yes, yes, I know its a breakfast place but they always seem surprised by the amount of people that are there. However, the bagels are good, and they have a couple of 400 calorie egg breakfast selections for anyone who doesn't want to consume a high calorie bagel. I wouldn't say that the value is awesome, they are just bagels, but its a good option if you want a quick bite and coffee.

Service was slow, not very friendly and they messed up my order. Food wasn't filling either...think I"ll opt for Starbucks breakfast next time. They're right next door.

These guys always make me look good !! Every time I cater my office meetings from Einstein Bros, they are a hit- their variety is complete - Even those healthy conscious that want to count calories on my dime find a bagel that can justify its consumption. But seriously, I consistently find the service here to be good and their bagels are good too - Their menu has everything, from Grilled Sandwiches and Pannini to soups and salads. Make this your "informal" lunch place, it is quite satisfying.

Love, love, love their gourmet bagels. They have your standard fare of bagels (onion, poppy seed, everything, blueberry, cinnamon raisin, wheat, plain, etc.), but what I really enjoy is their gourmet bagels (the Six Cheese, Spinach Florentine, etc.). Their coffee selection is nice - they have six different coffees, of which the hazelnut is my fav. There is seating inside and shared outside searing with a Starbucks. Pet friendly.

Whoa! Cream cheese overload! This morning, I ordered an honey whole wheat bagel with honey cream cheese, and the bagel was loaded with cream cheese! I can't really complain, but holy moly, there should be a caution sign that says loaded with cream cheese. Delicious nonetheless! The servers were also friendly and attentively answered all my questions.

Rude, rude, rude people working there, if you don't like customer service don't work serving clients.

While there are at least two people that work here that are good, as a whole the service sucks and the manager is an idiot. Also even after this place did a little remodeling it is still a mess. Tables floor and prep area are always less then satisfactory. They often run out of some varieties of bagels and act like it is a totally surprise. Both the heath department and Einstein Bros corporate need to take a close look at this store and fix it. Could be much much better. For now I'm done giving this place second chances. When I see it close, remodel and restaff I'll give it another try.

The people behind the counter hate their jobs for the most part and move like they're getting paid $1/Hr. Not their fault I guess. You get what you pay for. Their bagel dogs are fantastic though and In a pinch their regular bagels are aight

  • Joanna D.

Absolutely disgusting. Did not eat here, was with a friend. The staff was incredibly unhygienic. One girl kept picking her nose touching everything and another put the bottom of her backpack on the food prep station getting her wallet, etc out of it and no one ever wiped it down and kept making good on it. Would never eat here

The bagels are great here, even though not traditional Jewish bagels, but when reviewing chains, I try to review the specific chain, rather than the consistently delicious bagels. This store is the worst of all. I once came in, was third in line, and waited 45 minutes. Needless to say, it was the last time I went to this location. Parking in that area of Miracle mile is usually a mission so by the time you finally get your bagel, you could have had a full blown breakfast at threefold cafe or chocolate fashion. This store is honestly just infuriating. I wish they would hire a manager or several managers capable of running this store.

This place is always nice and clean. Love the food and the service. Melody always has a smile and is happy to see me. Classy lady for sure. Great ambiance. I love Coral Gables.

$10 for 2 egg white, turkey and tomato...A HUGE RIP OFF. Bagels suck too, never again.

It's not an NYC bagel. But that's ok. It's a good Miami bagel. The place is clean, well managed, and the staff is friendly. My gf made it through the line faster than I was able to get an iced coffee next store from an empty starbucks. I guess that might be more of a comment on starbucks' attention to customer service though. The everything bagels are always good. The cream cheese is decent (Miami decent). The lox isn't too bad for a $6 bagel. All said, not a bad cheap, quick breakfast.

Racist! I placed my order with no issue. The young lady asked my name for the order, "Todd," I responded. When the order was ready, what turned out to be the manager called the name on the order, "CHINO!" It took me a minute to realize she was talking to me. (I am Asian by the way.) I left the store to gather my thoughts, when I returned a few minutes later and asked to speak to the manager, three of the team members behind the counter asserted the manager wasn't there. They were apologetic and the others immediately told the young girl she was out of line. She apologized profusely, now that she was called out. They then turned to the woman at the register to inform her of the situation. She was, indeed, the manager they were originally trying to obscure. She even remembered calling out "CHINO," when my order was ready. I want to make sure this never happens again to marginalize or insult someone else who may not know how to speak up for himself or herself.

There's nothing better than a soft bagel that's soft even after toasted. Spread a little butter or make a breakfast sandwich and you have got yourself a solid breakfast. I had some time before my flight back to Hawaii so my sister took me to Einsteins. I had been once before and so I knew I'd be in for a good bagel. Hawaii doesn't really have that many bagel stores (at least I haven't tried any legit places yet) so I was craving a bagel. I wanted to get a breakfast sandwich but my sister told me they used fake eggs - ewww so I just stuck to a cinnamon raisin with butter. It hit the spot and I almost bought a bag of bagels to go but decided against it since I was already bringing a lot of food home from Miami. I wish they had Einsteins in Hawaii YELP 365: 145/365

This is the worst place!!!!! The rude people that work there all have to go!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!

Looking at the other reviews... I concur, this place has a bad attitude. You ask questions, you will get them but with an attitude. Bagels are good, but the attitude just kills it. Being a chain you would think, they would have standards, which are present in their food but not on the employees. If they would be friendlier it would make things better. Just go somewhere else for lunch!! the Gables has a great variety for you to choose.

I ordered a bagel & Vegy cream cheese. Bagels are hardly toasted & let's just say VERY VERY SKIMPY on the cream cheese. There was areas on the bagel that didn't have cream cheese on them. New or not, THE WORST SERVICE IN THE AIRPORT! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

I have been coming to this Einstein's for quite some time. The bagels are good but the attitude from most of the staff is appalling. I finally stopped going.

This place is filthy and gross. It needs a remodeling. There was flies all over the restaurant. Wouldn't be surprised if there was roaches.

Consistently clean, quick, and delicious. Must try their turkey BAT for lunch or their mushroom spinach egg white breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel.

I can't believe I had to travel all the way to Miami to find an Einstein Bros! I moved away from my favorite Einstein location in Jersey, and they are few and far between around here these days. So it felt like home. That said, this wasn't the best Einstein's ever...the bagels are better in Jersey, sorry!! Menu was the same. However, we made friends with the cashier, who recognized us the second day we came in. I've always loved Einstein's coffee, and the Autumn Roast is just plain awesome. Floridians must dig Einstein's too, because this location was hopping.

A totally competent Einsteins. Good for breakfast. Fast, clean, tasty, and friendly.

I've been here before on weekends and they seem to have an attitude problem on the weekdays. It's very in and out. They stand in front of you at the coffee bar and pretend not to hear you say "Excuse me" while they're magically refilling the Sugar at one end and the napkins at the other end, making it almost impossible to get to anything at all. Perhaps it was because this particular employee had a 10 foot wingspan. The cashier didn't have much to say, just the total and "Sign". I'm not expecting you to be my friend, but it would help if you didn't all look like you swallowed sour milk. The seating outside is shared with the Starbucks next door, so it's pretty minimal at all times. The garbage bins, both inside and outside, are always overflowing. I'm glad they have a Panera on the Mile now - at least to give a bit more of a bagel choice. On the up side, they were pretty fast with the bagels and had them out within a few minutes.

This place is great, so many yummy bagels to choose from. Got the honey whole wheat and it was great. Service is fast and the line never takes long.

Try the blueberry smear, it's delicious. I like coming to this Einstein's b/c you have Starbucks right next door, and Barnes and Noble across the street. You can't beat that.

Like any other yummy bagel and coffee shop (of which there's no shortage in south miami) but great service, clean restaurant and fresh food. And if you don't mind having a little (or a lot) of fat in your cream cheese - go for one of their shmears - they're super creamy!

Let's start with the good: The coffee is pretty good. They make bagels, that while never comparing to the chewy perfection that those annoying New Yorkers are always mewling about, they're bagels, and they are pretty good. Some of the people who work there, like the nice lady who runs the register, are really nice. Unfortunately, then there's the bad: The place is consistently filthy. I mean it. They just renovated, which was a step in the right direction, but as a little mental note some time ago, I examined the smeary glass inside the bagel case. I would stop in once a week or so, and for a period of THREE MONTHS it remained, until I finally lost my patience and pointed it out to the manager- who adamantly refused to believe it had been that way for more than a day. Since the renovation it has gotten a little better, but only a little. The bagel case is just one example in a long list of transgressions. Once you pay for your food, you stand at the open end of the kitchen line, where you are treated to a full view of the flotsam relegated to the floor on the prep line- it's like the drain in a bagel slaughterhouse, with orphaned bagel halves, fried eggs, balled up wrappers and cups, a smattering of sesame seeds and other detrius all formed in greasy drifts under the feet of the folks making your food. Then there's the food itself. I know they get slammed, so they go as fast as they can. But I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich that looked like it was made by a blind person wearing mittens who was competing in a calf-roping competition. If you stood three feet away and threw the ingredients at the bread, you'd make a better sandwich. Due to the convenience factor (it's 400 feet from my office) it's hard to avoid ending up in there from time to time. I just wish it were better. But hopefully they'll read their Yelp reviews and put someone to work with a broom and some 409.

The perfect place to catch a quick breakfast bite! They have so many options for the bagel lover and great alternatives to those trying to eat healthy. My personal favorite for breakfast is the turkey sausage, cheddar & egg bagel sandwich on an everything bagel. All ingredients melt together perfectly to make a filling breakfast sandwich that gives you your protein, carbs and dairy all in one! It's a great pick me up to help start your day! If you are in the mood for lunch, I would suggest their signature turkey sandwich. On your choice of bagel, you can get delicious turkey with sprouts, tomato, fresh cucumber and chive mayo. This sandwich feels light but fills you up, the perfect choice for lunch.

The best quality quick breakfast in town. I absolutely love bagels and Einstein Bros is by far my favorite. You can choose a flavor for the bagel and combine it with a flavored cream cheese (shmear), or you can make a personalized breakfast sandwich. My usual is a toasted everything bagel with egg whites, tomatoes, and plain shmear or a bagel and lox. Whatever bagel option you choose, don't miss out on trying their amazing Vanilla Hazelnut coffee.

  • Deka M.

The sandwiches are good, but every time I'm here, my order is mixed up, slow, and really messy. The kitchen staff shows no regard for what they do and slops the food together. It makes for a messy and uncomfortable eating experience.

April 2011 update - Have not been back for months. It's worse! I dropped it to one star. The coffee is still good, but this IS a bagal place and at 8:15AM on a Monday morning - ready? They only had plain bagels and some funky flavors like blueberry left. They said at least 30 minutes for other varieties. LOL. There has got to be a comedy skit in this. It comes down to workforce and this simply reflects a bigger issue than buying a bagel in South Florida. The workforce is a joke here. Hmm. Maybe that's why I moved back to NYC. Oh yeah. Now that I live in NYC full-time, the dinner roll shaped like a bagel that they serve here was not close to acceptable. Bad. Bad. Bad. The much better alternative is Starbucks whose front door is six inches away form Einstein's front door.

My first experience at this establishment. Not the best at all. The staff is lacking some very vital customer service skills. Management should really start paying attention to how things are run here on a day to day basis. Cashier walked away from us at the register turned her head and said call me when u ready (like she was bothered), while she continued her conversation with others. I would have much rather had some help understanding and getting to now the menu which is foreign to me as a new customer. I ended up ordering the egg panini (spinach and bacon), and I must admit that it was very good. But I didn't order anything else, even coffee because I was bothered by the attitude here. It wasn't the way I wanted to start my morning. Not impressed even though the good was tasty. I'd think twice, heavily, before coming back in for breakfast.

I'll admit that I'm not much of a bagel person but I've always rather enjoyed the Einstein Bros variety. Their thin bagels are pretty great, especially as part of a breakfast sandwich, and the Vanilla Hazelnut coffee is pretty spectacular. My only complaint is that the coffee was scorching hot (couldn't even hold it with one of those sleeves around the cup) but it was worth the (15-minute) wait it took for the temperature to be palatable.

Einstein must have the craziest and best tasting concoctions of cream cheese. Tomato, salmon, honey almond are just a few delicious flavors that taste quite well with tour bagels. Oh did u mention the bagels here are pretty darn good too? Einstein is a great breakfast and lunch spot. I wish there would me more around town. Next time you go try a plain bagel with honey almond cream cheese you will thank me later..

Good Bagels, Good Selection, Good Service. Oddly this place is located next to a Starbucks but it works out. They have a pretty big menu for a Bagel/Breakfast/Lunch place with a ton of choices. The Bagels and Sandwiches were good

Well ya... they have bagels and coffee. Most people have been to one of these places before but whoever is managing this place got my attention. I've been here a few times and when they're busy they pull together like few places I've seen in Miami. Most places just figure that you'll wait until they get to you so they don't put forth any effort to move things along. Not here. They have a well oiled machine and when really busy they even put some in the line to help take orders. You get my thumbs up for kicking but guys. Only 4 stars because you goof up my unusual order sometimes. Maybe one day I'll order direct from the menu and make it easier on you. Until then thanks for the excellent, consistent and unexpected effort you put forth!

this Einstein Bros is busy at 7 AM, and they know how to keep things moving. i bring the baker's dozen + 2 shmears for $13 (same price as Panera's) to work i think they could use a location in the downtown area, somewhat of a bagel wasteland -- wonder if Bagel Barn is any good??
