Went to the first location only to discover it had moved. Tried calling this location but the number listed on Yelp does not work. I have no idea what their number is; even their credit card bill has this number and it doesn't work. Maybe they are having phone issues. The prices at this place are reasonable and the meat is plentiful. We had great service and a good time. We left not being able to finish our meal. One thing about places like this is you get what you pay for. The quality of the meat was average, the amount of meat was above average. They had great prices on bottles of inexpensive wine so we ordered a bottle of Pinot grigio with our meal. I ordered the skirt steak and was able to eat a few bites; it was enough to feed 3 people, I brought it home and had some two days later. Overall this is a nice little restaurant that is cozy with excellent service. I would definitely come back if I am in the area.

Great hole in the wall for awesome typical Uruguayan lunch. Vacio, Salad and Tostones for 7.99. Great lunch specials of all type. Definitely will be back.

Dona Paulina's is a hole in the wall Argentenian restaurant located off of Bird Road, but don't let that fool you. The food is authentic and genuine. Much love goes behind the cooking here. I was with my daughter today and she thought that the fettuccine was some of the best she has beer had!

This place is as consistent as it gets. Food is always prepared correctly, flavor profile is ideal, nothing over cooked or over seasoned. Recommendation: Parrillada - gives you a chance to sample more then one menu item and you wont be disappointed. Excellent wine selection with plenty of complements for the food. Parking is limited so be prepared for this. Overall Ive been coming here for years and will continue to do so.

Great place to hang out with friends and family, the food is great, the service is amazing. Also they have live music at least on Saturdays. Overall a great experience. Es un excelente lugar para visitar con familia y amigos, la comida es muy buena, el servicio es impecable. Y además tienen música en vivo por lo menos los sábados es así. En términos generales una buena experiencia.

Let me start by saying that I went here the first week I started a diet, so I had salmon with a salad. This was really good. Then I caved in and tried some of the steak and it was so awesome! I was kicking myself for not getting the steak! I am not a steak person, so this is a big thing. The chicken fingers were also good. The place looks like a tavern inside and the service was pretty good. It was not super busy when we went, but as we were leaving the place was getting packed for the entertainment.

This place is amazing!! Food is delicious, the service is so friendly as soon as you walk in, overall wonderful experience. I will be returning with my family often in the future. Try the Chaja cake, best dessert EVER!

Went last Saturday for my bf's grandmother birthday, so we got there around 8:30pm, the waitress didn't take the order until 9:15pm, the food took more than 1 hour and the food wasn't good at all. I ordered mahi mahi with mash potatoes and fried plantains and my bf order a chivito. The plates presentations were horrible. The plates where to small for the food. NOT THAT THERE WAS ALOT OF FOOD. My boyfriend's grandfather is handicap, so we needed wheelchair access to the bathroom, so prior to the reservation we call to make sure.... well when we got there, our table was next to the door. later in the evening, he needed to used the restroom and the waitress said with this words "i am sorry, you need to go outside and pee" which was really rude. I can say she is Cuban and she was very disrespectful. I am also cuban but her attitude was really nasty. It was our first time, We went there because my bf's mom knew the place, so maybe she expressed herself like that because she knew my bf's mom. i dont know whatever the reason it was rude specially when we called prior to making the reservation. After eating, I wanted dessert and i had to chase the waitress to bring us the dessert menus which took 30 mins more. We were there for 4 hours. The bill came and there was 60$ tip included, she damn didst deserve any tip at all. The only reason why i didn't say anything was because it was my bf's mom favorite place to eat. in conclusion, the food was horrible, the service was horrible, only 1 restroom, the parking was horrible. everything was horrible, plus it was not sanitary at all. The food admin should close that place.

I was in the area, is not a place I frequent, and friend recommended this place, not sure 100% to enter, the place from the outside does not look the best, but it was a very good decision, food explectacular, and attention was excellent! recommend provoleta entry for cheese lovers

Four of us got the parrillada for three that had churasco, suasage, blood sausage, sweetbreads, chicken and pork chops. It was very good. I really enjoyed the blood sausage and the sweetbreads, the churasco was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. They said we got to choose three sides. We chose white rice, ensalada russa, and salad. I thought they were bring enough sides for all of us..but no in reality each side was enough for one person. I did not get that. For dessert we had Chaja. That was amazing.

Stopped by on a Friday night with my girlfriend. New York strip was good, nothing to write home about. Despite not having too many customers, our waitress managed to overlook waiting on our table. I had to request water, more wine for my girlfriend, napkins, and after having finished our meals, the check. Once the check finally came, she spent several minutes speaking to her co-workers and not attending our table. The worst part was that an 18% tip was included in the check... On a table for two. Service was definitely lacking at this restaurant. 2 stars because the food was good.

Six of us ate last night here and all I can say the food was delicious, the server very nice and we had a singer with a guitar that mad the night a great deal of fun. The vacio with onions, the Bife Chorizo and the Picana steaks were cooked to perfection; just DELICIOUS!!. The sides of Plantains, mashed potatoes, yuca fries, potato salad (Ensalada Rusa) were tasty and great, and according to one of our friends the Moros were the best he'd ever eaten. We ended the night sharing a crepe with dulce de leche and a Postre Chaja (meringue shell with dulce de leche and peaches) to die for. And the prices were reasonable. We paid $55 per couple with tax and tip. I highly recommend this restaurant and hope to go back very soon.

Dona Paulina seems to be an Argentinian steak house but I'm pretty sure it's not. Menu items are Argentinian and while the food did come out decent the vibe is definitely cuban (reggaeton playing in the background). I took a chance on this place Sunday afternoon. I arrived around 11:30 to find a surprised staff just barely opening even though they show as being open at 11am. Parking is limited, mostly on the street. I was greeted and shown to a table, we were the only ones in the place. We ordered a Vacio, churipan, proscuitto appetizer, & two glasses of wine. First thing to hit the tables was the proscuitto. It was mediocre and the house wine wasn't all that great but it was cheap. Finally the main course arrived. The churipan was decent but the fries it came with were junk. The vacio was ordered medium but leaned more towards medium/well. I ordered it with mash potatoes and russian salad. The potatoes were average but the russian salad was actually quite good. Overall, the food was decent, but nothing special, and the service was mediocre. The takeaway here was, an experience than didn't match my expectations. It wasn't truly Argentinian, Reggaeton playing on radio, steak that was overcooked, and location that was less than charming. Two pluses large portions and relatively inexpensive. My advice, if the ambiance is not important and your not hung on details give it a shot otherwise skip it.

Came here for Mother's Day as my mom was in the mood for a Meat Feast! We ordered the Parillada(BBQ) for 3 which brought 3 sides. This brought, sausage, blood sausage, chicken, ribs and steak. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. However, the sides were enough for 2 and the ribs were a bit tough. We had the jarra of sangria which was good and refreshing. Totally would recommend this hidden gem!

Great food, Service is okay... But the owner is sweet and kind. This is a go-to if you want a great steak. Entrana is what I always order and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I came here upon reading Jen R's review about two months ago. I wasn't really sure what to expect as the restaurant is in a tiny strip mall and since the restaurant itself is on the small size and dated in its decor. I am happy to report though that the food here is actually really good! The churrascos, sausages, chuletas (pork? chops) and empanadas were all perfectly cooked and were all very savory. Ladies, most of the portions here are pretty large, so either plan on sharing or plan on coming with a large appetite. Men, your appetites will definitely be satiated here. Atkins Diet lovers, you'd love this place! The best part about Dona Paulina is that you do not have to plan on coming with a large wallet! The prices are completely reasonable considering the amount of food that comes on each plate. Word to the wise, sit as far away from the the live music if possible as it does get a little loud.

this is a great restaurant!! hidden away in a discreet strip mall on bird, if you dont pay close attention, you will pass it. the food is awesome. the service is great. the prices are right on target. the decor not so much, but whatever you are in westchester not south beach. the churrasco is to die for, they serve huge portions. the empanadas are also really good. actually those are really the only things i ever eat here. i stick to what i know is a sure thing. i get take out every now and then , 2 people can eat from one dish (well 2 girls) they really go all out if its your birthday, im talking loud music, strobe lights, singing, the works!
