Everything time I come to Miami Acevichao is a must eat. I know that they don't serve alcohol but you can get something across the street. The food is absolutely delicious. The appetizers are definitely a tasty delight. Give this little diamond in the ruff a try.

I don't know why this place is rated so low.... Whenever I go I always get the chaufas with chicken. It's great! I love the corn they give you to snack on. It's a great topper to any of the main dishes. What's cool about this place is you can buy your own beer and such and bring it over. Anyway, if you're in the area, mine as well go, before hitting up a movie at Tower Theater.

I love Peruvian food and can eat at Ceviche 105 or Dr. Lemon any day of the week. However I will no return here. It was a disappointment from beginning to end. We went for lunch an there was only one other table. The waitress acted as if she was surprised we had come believing we wee here for the previous restaurant. She then disappeared behind the counter for the rest of the meal... until the check arrived and then hovered to see what she was being left. I had a ceiche which was bitter and a roll that had a heavy fried center. My friend ordered dish which he loves in other restaurants but here was a gop of uninspired fried rice..Lunch check sixty dollars in a hole in the wall in Little Havana My check may have paid for the restaurant's furnishings. The pluses the home made lemonade is good and there is free parking. That said in Miami there are so many better Peruvian choices. Hell on that block there are so much better latin choices. Will not be back.

Like the other reviewers, service is not professional and ceviche has no flavor. What more do you need to know? Not a horrible place, in fact inside is cute and clean, lots of free parking out back, but advertised happy hour doesn't exist since they appear to not have a beer and wine license currently. My take out ceviche had to be augmented from my fridge with lemon juice and spices from the cabinet. That is not what you go out and pay good money for. Plus it was not cheap.

I thought the food was mediocre although it is some of the best non-cuban I've had in the Little Havana area. The menu is way too big, with 6 or 7 different food types each with about 10 options. Highlights: the causa, ceviche, have not tried the sushi yet but the are apparently very good as well.. Will definitely be back.

This place is great. From the intimate size, to the local art, to the sake bar, to the amazing food, to the value provided, to the proximity to 8th street action...this restaurant is hitting on all cylinders. Instantly one of my favorites and one I will make an effort to come back to soon. The Lomo Saltado sushi is a great dish as well as many of their other rolls especially the ones they have on special. Their desserts are made in-house and tend to be unique.

Poor service. No wine or beer. Food so so. Chaufa with too much soy sauce. Our waiter didn't order our hot dishes. Rolls came out quickly. Hot food only after we complained. They did comp us the delayed meals. Owner could no communicate with us, as she spoke no English. Two people in our party got up and left in disgust. We wasted $22.00 and 2 hrs.

Great intimate place, food was amazing. The place was not busy so our service was exceptional. Priced just right.

Don't normally give negative reviews but this place really deserves it when in for a ceviche and not only did it take for ever but order was wrong 2 times fish was bland and hard ordered some chicken to go even worst no flavor in the sauce 2 pieces of chicken hard yuca tough chicken and they have the nerve to charge $26 bucks for this meal stay away sorry guys but you need a new cook there are 20 other places you can get this meal for less and way better

The food is good and the chef is nice, always greeting customers and in front of the house, but the service given by his staff is atrocious. Why do I want to go somewhere where the waitress treats me like she's doing me a huge favor to bring me a plate of ceviche? Also you INSIST on pushing the specials, only to not know them and read them off of a board? If we're the only table on a slow weekday night, and you take 10+ minutes to pick up our empty plates/check/bring the entrees and you repeatedly forget items, perhaps you should get a data entry job somewhere instead of working in food service. I've given this place plenty of chances and have recommended it to friends/coworkers, but I am afraid I will not be going back. Godspeed.

Original, creative food which taps into the Japanese/Peruvian fusion trend becoming more popular around the world. Really nice people there. Great overall experience with good value.

We came hungry and with an open mind. We began our meal with chicha & maracuya.. I was preoccupied with the menu and when I looked up I realized I had a bottle of each of the drinks. What? I've never had a bottle of this.. The order, classic ceviche "normal" size .. Medium spicy was too spicy and seafood that needed more marinading time.. Leche de Tigre was not much better. Next, our entree the seafood chaufa. Too much soy sauce, rice was parboiled, very salty. Our server forgot our California roll. We cut our losses and asked for the check.. Server was surprised we didn't want to pack anything up. It's been a long while since We've had a bad meal.. No drinks because no liquor license.. Don't bother, $50 later.. I feel like I threw away my $.
