This bar is a really fun hang out place. There are pool tables, darts, karaoke, and "on-tv" poker. My husband goes here regularly to have a drink and relax. I always have a good time when I come around. The bartenders are really friendly, quick and attentive. Drinks are pretty tasty too! Not to mention that they have amazing wings and specials. During football season its the best place to watch the game since they have all the games playing and the grub is amazing. We regularly order wings to go.... They are that good!! We've only been in the Margate/Coconut Creek area for 8 months and this bar made me feel like I was still back home at one of my old bar hangouts. I would definitely recommend this to any of my friends that are looking for a good time.

We were looking for a quick lunch while passing through Margate, fou d Jesse's and what a great surprise. We ordered the cheeseburger sliders and onion rings, drinks were great, atmosphere was comfortable, everyone was nice. If we lived in Margate we would be regulars here! Stop by and visit Jesse's you will not be disappointed.

I came to Jesse's while visiting my mom in Coconut Creek. She said, "they have this Philly cheesesteak but with sausage. Trust me." Ok, we arrived and it just looked like a local bar, boarding on dive, which is cool but an incredible sandwich coming out of this place? "Hhhhmmm..." I thought. It was the afternoon so only the bartender and one other person were there. Even though the tables are self serve, the bartender came over to our table and asked what we wanted. I thought that this was nice of him, especially since my mom has some mobility issues. The menu looks like a typical bar menu in Philadelphia and I was intrigued. I ordered the Italian sausage Philly cheese-stake with no hot peppers and french fries. It came with cheese, onions and mushrooms. I also ordered a black russian with Grey Goose which was made well. When the sandwich arrived, it was different than I expected: crumbled Italian sausage mixed with cheese and veggies. It looked delicious, but I wasn't prepared for how good it actually was. It was heavy and greasy as a cheese-steak should be. It was flavorful and creamy. I think this was even better than some of the cheese-steaks I've had in Philly. I was super impressed. So, five stars for good food, good drinks, very reasonably priced and a bartender who went out of his way for us. Remember, we were there for lunch, so I'm sure it is different in the evenings when crowded. I will definitely go back to Jesse's for that sandwich and some drinks or to watch a game when I visit my mom again.

Outstanding Philly Cheese Steak! I think everyone who works here is named Dan.....lol. I met Dan the chef because I ran out of his homemade hot sauce and I needed to buy a new bottle. So I asked him about about his Cheese Steak Sandwich because I read that it was pretty good. Of course he tells me it's great blah blah blah. Mind you I haven't had a "great" Philly Cheese Steak in years so needless to say I was very skeptical about his statement. Not feeling hungry at the moment, I drank some beers and play the jukebox. As I was shooting the $hit with some dudes at the bar I was thinking F it I'm gonna order the Cheese Steak Sandwich to go. I get it with mushrooms, onions, green peppers and hot peppers. A side comes with it and I get tater tots and off I go. I take a quick peek in the box and I was like damn that looks real good. I get home and take a pic of the sandwich and dive in for the kill. Outstanding is the word that came to my mind. Everything was blended perfectly in the sandwich. The roll was nice and soft and to my surprise it didn't get soggy on the ride home. I would image if I ate it at Jesse's it would have been even better, if that's possible. The tater tots were good but nothing out of the ordinary. As for my rating, the sandwich is clearly 5 stars, but all the smoke from the cigarettes just kills me when I go in this place. I would image that that issue alone may stop some people from trying this sandwich but just order it to go. Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!

I have been frequenting Jesse's for a few years now. I love this place! I call it my "Cheers bar" bartenders (Jen, Nadege, Dan and Jesse) are super friendly and knowledgeable about drinks, they're are always offering new and fun exciting shots. They remember what you like and you are always served right away, I dont think Ive ever had to wait more than a minute for my drinks, the food is amazing!! Wings to die for, Philly steak is bomb and their salads are huge, there are comfy booths and fun games to play everywhere, you will never be bored here, its a great place to come alone as well, locals are friendly and you wont be by yourself for long. Owners are great at making sure things are done properly and by the law which is a great safety measure for females who frequent this bar, no creeps or weirdos here, I find usually people who have complained in the past is due to not being able to follow simple legal requirements such as a proper ID. Jukebox is awesome and you can control it from your phone with touchtunes, and the best part is you can buy this awesome tumbler that they customize for you and get happy hour prices all the time!! but even if you don't its no biggie because the prices are awesome and every day of the week they have an awesome deal, there are no other places like this in the area. I recommend it 100% and am glad I found this place, my Fridays nights since have gotten a lot more exciting, I love bringing friends here and it has quickly become our local spot. I have tried other bars in the area but none have been able to come close to everything that I love about this place. Definitely give them a try :D

We stopped here 1 time for wings and some football. The wings were great, beer was good and eveything was cheap. It's kind of shabby here, needs to be rennovated and better TV's. They should ban smoking indoors too! It's gross to eat and smell smoke in your face at the same time. The place is kind of small and wouldn't require much effort to smoke outside. I don't think they get a lot of business here so they probably do it that way to keep the locals happy. Update as of 6/7: The owner of this place contacted me almost immediately about my review. He informed me that there have been some upgrades made already to the TV's since I have been there last. Also, he made the point that as a bar he has to cater to the smoking crowd as it isn't a restaurant, it's a bar. Of all of my reviews, so far he is the first owner to actually care about my opinion and for that reason I will go back to give it another shot. Not many owners seem to really take pride in their place but he seems to. For this reason, I will upgrade my review to 4 stars and hope for the best when I come back. Over all RUDE people. I came in here after a long night with some friends vibing about to order a drink I happen to have a can of coke I was drinking cuz I had low sugar levels (I am a diabetic) in the middle of catching up with a old buddie of mine I was asked to leave simple cuz I was drinking a coke n I look right into the guys eye like are u serious as if it was a joke. But it wasn't, holding all my anger in I said bye to my friends n left. Felt so alienated there, it's 2014 people times has changed the U.S is a melting pot for all people all races alike. Nobody sould feel like that anywhere. Wish I can give this place zero stars but unfortunately it's one.

I came here and had a great time. Bartenders and drinks were on point and well priced. The chicken philly is amazing and their wings rock!! I love how it is an adult playground with darts, pool, life size Jenga, etc. I will be coming back again!!

I came to Florida 6 years ago and was introduced to Jesse's my first night out. I have personally made it a point to never go to any other bar because of I have been treated all this time. I see the owners and the staff as family and I have been treated as such. What I like is that if you act like an ass they don't suck up to keep you because you are a paying customer. They let you know about yourself in a flash. Food is good and they are conscious of that with possible food allergies. What bar do you know does that? Love being there on my days off. I go nowhere else and I live 30 minutes away.

Love this bar. Great food, great drinks, and great people. They have darts, pool, karaoke, beer pong and a great selection on the jukebox. If u haven't been before you should definately try it.

My favorite after work watering hole! Good food and great prices. They have drink AND food specials daily. Karoke on sundays until football season. They cater to your sports needs, will change a TV near you upon request. Chicken philly is one of my favorites, also have great burgers. Staff has become friends and almost family!

I had bad experience comming here i been here twice frist time i was here i order drink took long time i can understand when its busy . I will it give another try second time i come with my boyfriend . My boyfriend ask me order drinks.so i did. I gave the bartender lady the mvoney.... so when. I was getting my change back i got it all back in my hand she gave me very bad attitude. Told me i get Payed hereoff tips. Great for take out. We have taken out like 6 times & it's always great for their type of food. Tonight we got conch fritters (very good), Ruben philly (excellent) & a sausage philly (also excellent).

This is one of those places where of you're not a regular, or planning on becoming a regular, prepare for a hit or miss experience. The food is reaaaaaaally good most of the time (there used to be a place called Spankys nearby that made philly cheesesteaks, the ones here are better when the staff is on their game that night. Even on their worst day the phillys here are 10x better than miami subs.) the issue is the service. The staff is just kind of rude and snippy if they don't know you well. I get it, it's a "had the same regulars for a few years" kind of place, but it's happened more than once and with different people, and im sewing im not the only one having that problem - and they seem kind of argumentative on social media, which can be a bit awkward and off - putting to read. Maybe theyre stressed out a lot over there and in need of more help? Either way i wish them well, but i wont be going back and wouldnt recommend it. Sucks cause, like I said, damn good philly.

Me and all of my friends are over 25, got haggaled about our legal state drivers license ID's... Wtf... They even asked for another form of Id to substantiate our DL, they are spotless mind you. After that they noticed I had a shaker cup in my hand and I showed them it was water, I even let them smell it and they still wanted me to do away with it.... Again wtf

I give this place 5 stars for the Philly cheese steaks! However, service sucks!! If you are not a regular they have no reason to make any effort at all. So if customer service is your thing.... stay away.

I've been frequenting Jesse's for a few years. The cheesesteak sandwiches are really good....even better on Wednesday's when they're 2 for one...or 2 for like, $15 bucks or so (still a decent deal). The service is rude as hell, though. If you've had a long day at work, definitely hit up Applebee's across the street for friendly, reliable service. Jen's a peach. Enjoy.

This bar is in my neighborhood, and I love coming here! I've never had a bad experience, the staff and clientele are a joy to be around. I don't come too often, but the daily specials they offer are always really great. You can't beat the decor, either. It's *extreme*ly rad.

Came here for the second time and my girlfriend bought a drink and let the bartender who is the owners wife mind you know that she will be back in to pay the remaining dollar after she finished smoking outside. Half way through her cigarette the bartender comes charging outside for her dollar. My friend happily gave it to her and apologized saying she will be back in to leave her a tip. I saw her whisper something under her breathe so I went I side to ask what she said. She denied saying anything then proceeded to ask me why I had an attitude. My friend then asked for a glass of ice water and they told her she had to pay a dollar. The first time I was there I drank water all night no charge and someone I was with asked for some water which they happily gave free of charge. Terrible customer service for a crappy hole in the wall.

I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant than I am in Jesse's. Jen, the wife of Jesse, should not be interacting with customers. Her lack of customer service is the worse I have ever seen. Jen was in my face yelling, so disrespectful, I can't even express how shocked I was and the people with me. We had many complaints about the service Jen was providing. We had to consantly wait to order drinks, service was slow. I complained to Jesse's, not knowing that Jen was also an owner. She screamed at me how I went behind her back to get her in trouble with her husband. This had to do with poor customer service, nothing more. We and our friends stopped going there. Jen is a bully. I tired to reach out to her but she refused. I have told my story to many people and it amazes me how many people have had a similar experience. If you look at the reviews you will see, I am not alone. Jen needs to find another way to contribute to the business. She is a detriment to their business. If you decide to eat there and Jen is behind the bar, run away. You will be sorry if you have to deal with her. I feel sorry for anyone that's had to work with her.

This is my neighborhood joint. Great happy hour, great bartenders (Danny, nadesh) pretty good food. Friday & Saturday nights usually busy with mixed crowd of people.

Awesome drop in anytime bar... Bartenders and owners recognize you and remember what you order... Local place for sure... Chicken Philly to die for!!! Jen is my hero! I came in tonight, specifically needing a decompress moment and an ear... As busy as she was, she found the time to talk and joke with me and I felt so much better afterward ... They become your friends, not just "some place" to stop. This place is awesome!

Drinks and food were great, however, didn't like that you had to order both at the bar if you were sitting in a booth. Also, my card was charged 4 additional dollars to the bill I paid including tip. Won't be returning. Unbelievable. So $53 to pretty much work there.

When an owner reaches out and tries to make it right, you gotta give 'em props! Jesse's did that to me and I went back and the had the chicken ranch philly again, with the loaded tots and a couple of Bloody's and it was all great. I even talked with a Floridian recently transferred to Chicago and got to share some of my favorite places in Chicago with him, so all was good.

Nice little bar, friendly staff, n excellent food. I was amazed at how good the food was for being a bar. Normally all you get is greasy burgers n fries. This was BWW quality. Also not to expensive. Will go again soon.

Walked in here only because the kitchen was closed at the other bar we tried. Of course only the "late night menu" was available here. Bartender was less than friendly. Might even call her coarse... Beers took way to long to be refilled. Been here before and had a better experience. Will probably try again another night.

I'm back! Still love this place. Shrimp philly is the bomb. Poppers are great, just take your time or you WILL burn your mouth (I'm such a piggy!) Jen behind the bar reminds me of a HAPPY Carla from Cheers.....big smile, quick with the service, but also quick with the come backs that keep you laughing. Karaoke on Saturdays and Fridays. Fun place with a lot of regulars

My wife and I moved down from Delray Beach to Pompano and have been going to different bars in the area trying them out. We went here on Thursday night and a few drinks. The place in my opinion is a great place to spend time. My wife had the Philly cheese steak which she told me was excellent. The bartender (Jen) was very nice and polite and the other people at the bar (seemed like most were regulars) were friendly. It's a nice place to go for conversation or to be left alone whatever you want. As for the smoke, it's a bar. I'm not big on smoking but if I go to a bar I expect to smell smoke. We'll be back.
