The service was fast, friendly and efficient. The food ....meh. I had the Reuben sandwich that came with fries. The meat wasn't the greatest quality, but the fries were hot and crispy. I hear this is a good place for breakfast, will have to give them another try and see how the omelette are.

Went here twice within a 2 months period. The first time in June, the food for dinner tasted horrible and the service was even worse. The second time, the food was mediocre, but the service was pretty good. Sabrina was friendly and the service was much better that the last time. This was for dinner again. This place seems to be better for breakfast than dinner.

Horrible service and the order was not even complete. A little guy come out of the so called kitchen with a attitude and told us if we don't like the service not to come back. Well Eddie Monster we won't and either will anyone we speak to.

I have been here a few times and the food is definitely tasty. However, this time the service had left so much more to be desired. First off, we were seated quickly and the hostess was very nice. The server came to our table quickly to take the drink order. Once she dropped the drinks off at the table, she said she'll be back in a couple of minutes which ended up being 10 or so min. She took our orders and brought syrup and a basket with butter and jelly in it. A few minutes later, she came back by our table and took the syrup to take to another table and said she would bring syrup back. 10 minutes later she came back to the table and proceeded to take some of the jelly and butter out of the basket stating that our order will be out soon because she put it in late. We received our food soon after. When we finished eating, I asked her off she put in the Togo order that I placed at the same time as my regular order she said, "oh no, I forgot". Needless to say, I ended up waiting another 15 minutes for my Togo order.Normally I don't mind waiting, but I have 2 small kids and they were being very restless. When I reached to hostess to pay my bill, she asked about my service. Apparently, she has been receiving complaints all morning about the same server. All though that doesn't change the service I received, it is comforting to know that it was not just me that was being treated that way. All in all, the food was very good as usual, however, the service was terrible. But on the bright side, I will be back. I just hope they do what is necessary to insure better service next time.

There isn't really ever a time I come here that I am either satisfied or impressed. The service is medicore, kind people with good intentions but not even the slightest capability of multitasking. The food comes out fairly quickly, compared to service. Good portions for not a bad price. But today I had the unfortunate luck of discovering a piece of hair in my steak and eggs. Not just on my steak but somehow laced into the meat and I could not pull it out. Needless to say I was more than halfway done and almost preparing to throw up what I had finished. No apologies, more like an expectant face. Like, oh, another hair for the day. Lovely.

We've been eating here since it was open but over the last few years I've gone less and less as it was disappointing. I have to say this last visit was wonderful! New manager and the staff and food tastes closer to what it used to. Finally some flavor back on the food and not bland food being cooked for octogenarians. I look forward to going back and haven't said that in years

Horrible experience. Order came out wrong. One person didn't get their order until 10 minutes after every one else. The order was wrong even though we said no chicken twice. When we told the waiter it was wrong, he checked with someone and came back to the table and said he won't charge us for the meal but he had to take it back even though we finally said we would eat it since we didn't want to wait for them to make another meal.

Worst experience ever. Went in around 7 last night. One hostess doing nothing. Two waitresses and a busser who seemed nonplussed by the three tables they had. My mom and I ordered a dinner special - pricy for a diner. After 10-15 minutes our tepid soup and plain salads arrived. We had to ask our non caring server for our Coke and Iced Tea, the latter of which had no ice. After 35 minutes, I inquired about our main courses and was bluntly told the fish almondine and boiled shrimp were nearly done. Was this a Kitchen Nightmare in the making? After five more minutes and just a "sorry" from our "whatever..." server we walked out and went to Cheddar's, which was packed. Good food and in and out in 30 minutes. Inverrary Diner gets a big fat F

Just take the drive to peter pans. It's worth it. I've had good food- which was the daily soup. Some seafood soup. That was great. Last time I went I got a tuna melt and I couldnt even finish it. I eat a lot of tuna and this was either bad or some off brand because it tasted fish-ier than any canned tuna I have ever had. They also gave me like 7 french fries. My friends burger was falling apart too. The first time I ate here I got breakfast and it wasn't so bad, but I tend to judge breakfast on how well they make their sausage. It's a hard thing to master, unless you are just heating up jimmy deans or whatever. But yeah, it was gross. I live really close so I'll probably go back for convenience, but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

I can not begin to sum up the bad in this place. 4 words only can describe it. RESTAURANT IMPOSSIBLE ROBERT IRVINE. That's all. I can really say. They cater to the senior citizens. The lack of care into the food and building inside is upsetting.. Some of the servers have patience for the elderly while others do not.. They need a lot of work done. Owners have no passion for food.

My grandparents can't stop raving about this place. They bought some kind of meal certificate, but between themselves never spend enough to reach their minimum to be able to use it. They were excited when I drove up for a surprise visit... they would finally be able to use their certificate. We went for lunch around 2. There were other guests, but not full. We were seated immediately. The server was attentive. My grandma suggested the baked fish dinner. My grandfather had the salmon. The challah was delicious, the fish was even better. The meals came with two sides and were filling. There is a second floor available for private parties.

Hearty food. And, lots of it. Not everything is top notch. But nothing is terrible. I absolutely adore their matzoh ball soup. All their dinners come with soup or salad, a beverage, and dessert. I don't care for the desserts that go with the meal. They tend to be tiny portions, and are often a bit tasteless. But I don't go here for the desserts. I go for the main dishes. Burgers, fish, and chicken are all good. Their nightly specials are often good. My favorite meal here? Liver and onions. One of the best in town.

Had breakfast while traveling through Fort Lauderdale. I can't quite figure out if this place is a Jewish Deli or a Greek Diner. Either way it was good. Had French Toast, which consisted of a very large serving. It was well done and very filling. The special included coffee. I paid at the cash register on a credit card. Since the French toast was a special, the bill only came to around $8.00. The manager (I assume he was) asked me if I wanted to include the tip on the bill. I told him how much I wanted to leave, 20%, and his facial expression and manner made me feel that he did not appreciate the amount. Because of this, I knocked off a star from my rating. 2nd time here, while visiting my parents. They love this place! It's a diner. Big menu, diner food. Okay, the matzo ball soup was good, but I'm not a great judge of that dish. I haven't had it in years. The challah was good though. I had veal parmigiana. Many times the veal is poor quality and chewy at best. Here, not the case. The veal was thin and tender, not overcooked. The marinara sauce and pasta were quite good. For a diner, it's not bad. Try it for yourself. I had given two stars, but as I wrote the review, I realized I was really giving them three. So, I raised it to three before posting.

I had the gyro platter, which came with a a bowl of pretty good chicken soup, a small greek salad, 4 pita pieces, grilled, gyro meat and the tsatkski (?) sauce and french fries. All for $7.45. Wow. She loved it and said it had a very fresh flavor and would definitely order it again. Their sandwiches are big and looked good, the salads were huge. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality. Will definitely go there and try more things. Nice find!

Where the lower-lower east side meets the greek islands, this place is a favorite diner for a lot of snow birds and locals alike. They obviously cater to the local neighborhood with pre order passover dinners. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I personally like the fact that you will never be hungry after eating in this place. I usually go with one of the greek platters. My latest lunch included a beverage, soup( noodle or matzo, but sometimes navy bean, minestrone and split pea are available), small salad (with calamata olive, and feta), pita, a chicken skewer, rice/spinach mix, and tzatziki sauce. All for under $10 with tip. The salad is one of the best around, and the soulvaki is usually prepared correctly with herbs and tzatziki on the side. Gyro meat is usually grittled not sliced fresh from roll. I can't believe this place has not been reviewed yet. It is a big thumbs up for quality food and service.

While looking for a new breakfast joint a couple of weeks ago, my husband and I discovered this place. I had read some good reviews, and decided to give it a try. The food was delicious, and the place was quaint and clean. My only complaint is that our waiter greeted us with a frown. He was nice, and not rude by any means, but did not smile once.

I've been here several times recently, and will probably frequent this place regularly. The place could use a facelift, much like it's frequent (and obviously catered to) patrons, but this place redeems itself with excellent service and reasonable pricing. The biscuits and gravy are good, and my fiance has ordered some tasty omelets. Keep the salt and pepper handy, but keep in mind this diner's typical patron. If you order a ruben, make sure you tell them you want the dressing. It's not stellar, but they have fantastic service, and you can get some good food for the cheap.

George the manager answering the phone:"Innnnveerrrraryyy Diner" From the tiny island of Limnos in Greece via Chicago came the Diner King of Broward County: Dimitri Sthatakis!!! The guy is a legend. Kicks out the best diner food in South Florida...maybe the country. Consistent greek specialties and diner fare at always affordable prices. The Diva Jackie at the register seating you in a spotless dining room. Excellent service, all items made from scratch with Dimitri's family recipies brought over from Greece. The place is an institution in Western Broward County. Dont miss it!!! tell em Malaka sent you!!!!

Oh my god, are you people kidding? One of THE two most disgusting diners I've ever had the misfortune to be dragged to. EVERYTHING was just HIDEOUS, soggy, flavorless. I couldn't even eat the green beans - GREEN BEANS, for heaven's sake!!! NOTHING has any flavor at all. I think they must cater exclusively to Florida's way-over-the-hill population segment - this stuff is OK to eat without teeth, I'll give them that, it's so mushy. Inverrary Diner? No thanks, I'm not hungry! Feh, seriously, go to McDonald's instead - and that's saying something!

My very picky 14 year old son son and I went to the Inverrary Diner for breakfast the other day and I couldn't believe the prices! $3.39 for 2eggs, home fries, toast, and orange juice. The food was great, i loved the home fries- they were very good, probably they use seasoned red potatoes. I had the veggies omelete, it was too big to finish, and was only $5.99. We liked the breakfast so much we went back for dinner tonight and had the NY skirt steak with veggie and baked potato, which was cooked exactly the way I like it. The food in this place is a great value for the money. The portions are large. But I think the best thing about it is the wait staff. They are very attentive and the service was great. Ask for Billy or Peter. We will definitely go there again!

Really couldn't figure out what to eat tonite so went with plan -z. Drive past this place everyday on the way to and from work so decided to give it a chance. Its really just the standard greek style diner no bells or whistles , nothing that screams AMAZING, but it does have a fairly large menu and gives you a ton of food for the price. The service was good . Only real disappointment was the dessert.A really poor attempt at a black forest cake which i will leave at that.

This place was ok. They have a good selection of food, but what I ordered was not so great. I would have given this place two starts but I do have to admit that the service was great. The food came out in a timely manner and looked great, but the taste was not so great. It is a diner mostly for the senior citizens and I don't know if the cook is one too but he sure is cooking without flavor. I don't know if I would manage to make a second visit to this place. It will take a lot.
