This place was alright.. If you like line dancing it's probably more than alright. I'm not really into clubs but it's something different to do and it's Country. Cover charge... I'm not a fan of... nor am I a fan of 18-20 year Olds being allowed in.... However I don't think half the crowd would have been there if it wasn't for them. The place wasn't packed ..sort of empty really but that just means 1000 people aren't bumping into you. They had all you can drink for 15$.. which of course is basic beer or the lowest quality mixed drinks. Would I go back? Maybe if we had nothing to do a year or 2 from now I'd mention coming here.

Meh. I came here once and wasn't a huge fan. I had previously been to The Round Up in Oldsmar, which is the same concept as Waterin' Trough and i like the other place better. Here, there was a LONG line to get in and the same cocky attitudes from the bouncers. They even search your bag when you come in! Excuse me, this isn't airport security so keep your hands out of my bag, k thanks! The music was okay, although a weird mix of songs (one minute playing lil jon "get low" and the next it was back to sappy country love songs), but if you have a few too many drinks at the sink or swim bar it doesn't seem too bad after a while! The clientele here was creeper central - too many single guys prowling on any girl that walked in. That got old real quick. I probably would not come back here any time soon.

Trashy patrons and immature, unprofessional staff...what else do you need to know? Bartenders have zero qualms about over serving you. I witnessed them grossly over serving on an extremely regular basis. Security is a joke -- it's too big of a building, too crowded and there are too few guards walking around. Last but not least, the bar allows 18-20 year olds and in the grand scheme of things that really shouldn't sway your opinion of the place. The 21+ crowd that frequents here act just as immature, if not worse, than the underagers. Bottom line...to be honest, I'd rather light $15 on fire and watch it burn then use it to set foot in this establishment ever again.

I'm not much a fan of country music, but I AM a fan of line dancing. I'm in such awe of how many line dances some of these regulars know. AND it's like a trigger goes off in their head right when the first note of the song plays. This isn't my thing, but sink or swim for $14. But boo on paying $1 for a cup of water. It's fun trying to catch on to some of the easier dances. There are classes earlier in the night (around 7, I think?), but I did notice that the dance floor was empty for quite a number of songs. That's no fun.

I've been here one other time & a couple other country clubs. Same deal. Sink or swim. Go to a separate bar if that's what you're looking to do. I tipped the guy $5 on my first drink. I figured it would take care of me, especially because I'm a lightweight nowadays. I mean. I didn't think I was going to have more than 5 drinks. And that would've been a dollar per drink. Standard right? The bartender remembered my face & drink for the night. On the fourth drink, he had the audacity to comment how I wasn't tipping. Are you freaking kidding me?! That aggravated me so much. Even a month later, I still get riled up writing this review.

Cheap drinks, lots of good looking girls, trashy dudes. In all, this is a pretty cool bar.

Waterin Trough is a massive warehouse-esque facility for one's line dancing needs. Apparently, there's a line dance for everything. I really enjoyed myself here, but I have some complaints. On Saturday nights, there are 2 options for the cover. For $15, it's all-you-can-drink. What that really means is you get a cup to use, and you have ONE drink option served by ONE bartender. If you're lucky, the beer line isn't too bad, but the wait can get pretty hairy. This is one of those places that allows smokers, so if you're sensitive to that, beware. My eyes were burning when the night was through. My last complaint is that they allow under 21s which is never any fun. You never know if a grown man or child is hitting on you. Otherwise, the place was good. The dance floor was always busy, the staff was nice, and the bathrooms were surprisingly clean. Next time I go, I'll have to do the lessons first so I don't look like such a mess on the dance floor.
