I will tell you what ... You CAN'T judge a book by its cover. We were shopping close to this location and thought we would try it. When i saw the decor i thought omg here we go! I actually was looking around for the elvis on velvet ... Lol They have a very nice display of cowboy belt buckles framed, problem was the glass is just dirty enough unless your on the right angel you cant see them .... Hense the book comment _ definitly due to be freshened up! Now the food ... OMG shocker! I had the pork shank with mashed and the brussel sprouts au gratin ... Honey had steak with asparagus loaded baked with mushrooms and onions on the side ... Holy crap it was great pork , the most tender i ever had. Brussel sprouts was ... I usually lightly salt they were a great treat. Husband ate everything on his plate, im thinking he liked it! Definitly will go again!

service was great, food prepared and served as expected . It was nice to see micro brews on the draft list. Tried the beer cheese and pretzels, it was tasty but the shrimp appetizer was the best.

This is our default restaurant according to our credit card statement. It's seems to be a great meeting spot with our friends and family. The staff and food at this location are great.

Love the atmosphere here. Service is good, salads fresh. My favorite is the flos filet or the outlaw. I think its a little pricey though for what you get.

Great service provided by Luke. The food was amazing. Everything cooked perfectly to order and arrived quickly. Best prime rib we've ever had while dining out.

OK....It's Longhorn. I always order the Renegade, and it's always great. But, this visit had a few things that concerned me. While waiting for our table we sat at the bar and I had a great Manhattan. I like them sweet with a dash of bitters It was right on....great!!!! We were seated near the entrance just behind the host/hostess station. Avoid this table unless you want a constant update on the number of cleared, or just about to be cleared tables. Or, the number of people they are about to be seat. The plus side is that in case of an emergency, you will be the first one out. Our mushroom apps were very nice - very cheesy tasting...love it. The folks in the table behind us spilled their drinks and caused a flurry of activity from the waitress and host folks. Distracting, but not the restaurants fault. Also, guests were going past our table constantly as they exited or entered. Again, distracting, but just the way it is. The Caesar salad was only slightly dressed, not enough. I added the blue cheese that my wife didn't use. My Renegade steak was cooked perfectly, but the usual buttery topping was too much. Not that I didn't enjoy it, but I could have used less. I asked for sour cream only on my baked potato. It arrived with no butter and LOTS of sour cream. Again, too much, but I ate it all. They are not helping with my attempt to shed pounds. We actually did enjoyed the evening and the food. Suggestion...don't sit next to the host/hostess station, or behind to a father with two teenage daughters!!!!!!!

I get take out from here while visiting family. Ashley is always there to pick up the phone and greet me with professionalism and poise no matter what. She nails my order, everything is included, and on time. Not to mention the prime rib is incredible. Big thumbs up!

After waiting 10minutes on hold, a manager tells us they don't take reservations, as we are a party of 10, but in the same breath,"just to let you know we have a party of 9 that is coming in then & you will have to wait until they are done eating if you want to sit together." Explain this to me again? You don't take reservations but you are holding a section for another party? Yah, somebody's gonna have to dumb this down & explain this to me. And uhhhhh, a steak restaurant that can only accommodate one "large" party? Not the best first impression. Conversely calling a competitor within 2 minutes produced a much faster reservation. 2 stars as we have never been there for their food. Disappointed.

We rarely go out for lunch, seeing we both work and don't have schedules that are conducive. We both had New Year's Day off so with gift card in hand, we took advantage of it. We were pleasantly surprised at Longhorns lunch menu. Many affordable choices here. I chose the soup and burger combo. French Onion soup with the 6oz black and blue burger, both we're very good and cooked to order. $8.99 My Bride's lunch was Lobster and Shrimp chowder and a Caesar salad $6.99. She found the chowder lacking in lobster yet was very flavorful. Her salad had to be sent back due to a heavy amount of dressing drowning it. All in all lunch was a great value of which we'll take advantage of again!

Thank god my recent visit here was a good one and I am now back to enjoying one of my favorite chain restaurants. went on a Thursday afternoon 430ish in time for prime time..their version of happy hour. Had a primetime margarita, cactus flower, was really good. Could actually taste the tequila and not just sugary juice . Was $5 during happy hour too. For an appetizer I had the sweet corn fritters ($3 for happy hour) which were good, moist, yummy , and had 2 left to take home. For dinner I had the 6oz filet with broccoli and baked potato $19.99. Perfectly cooked and came with salad and warm bread. Service was spot on by Alec J and I never felt rushed or ignored.

I was so impressed with my initial experience at Longhorn that I decided to take my girl out on a date. She's from Omaha, she knows steak and isn't afraid to call BS on sub-standard meat. The experience at LH was just as good as I remembered it. The steak was cooked to our exacting specifications. Don't be a hater and drop the $2 for tableside steak sauce, it will not disappoint. Course timing was excellent and it hit the sweetspot between not being rushed and where's my food. Total tab was $71, including tip, for some serious filet's and a generous pour of wine. Really can't go wrong with this quality of cuisine for that price. LH certainly has my personal recommendation!

After posting my previous review, the manager sent me a private message apologizing for the slow service and asked me to email him so he could "make it right". I assumed this meant something like a free appetizer or meal or perhaps a gift card to come back again. I emailed him right away providing further detail about the experience. He never emailed back (this has been about 2-3 weeks I'm waiting to hear back from him). Not sure why he would bother to email me if he had no intentions of responding. Leaves a bit of a bad taste in regards to their attentiveness and care for retaining repeat customers.

Had a very nice dinner here. This is a chain steakhouse, but a little bit upscale. The steak are good, but a lot of the "sizzle" here is in the high quality sides. There are a variety of nice soups and salads, plus some nice side items like roasted corn on the cob and various vegetable sides. Be careful if you are budgeting--there are a lot of up charges you can get hit with--but the menu is pretty clear on all that. We also had great service, which always makes a meal that much more pleasant. I will be back.

This is a review of two recent visits. It is a beautiful restaurant and it's aesthetic suits me because my alma mater is the University of Texas in Austin. Firstly, we ventured out on a Friday night and were immediately seated. We both loved the hot bread that they serve as you ponder the menu. I ordered the ribeye and my partner ordered the small prime rib, both medium rare. We also opted for an order of the roasted Merlot mushrooms. In a word, both of the steaks were cooked perfectly. The mushrooms were a wonderful accompaniment..they were not too salty nor had the flavor of Lipton's onion soup mix like at Outback. Our second visit was this last Saturday for lunch. We ordered Steakhouse burgers with cheddar, cooked medium and an order of the Texas Tonions(see photo). OMG! In the world of $10 hamburgers, these were great. They were cooked perfectly. We love us some fried onion thingies and these were awesome but expensive. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised on how good the food, service and experience was. The manager came over to our table to inquire on how our meals were. As far as chain steak restaurants go, this one scored major points. It's kind of tricky to get to on the southwest corner of US 19 and East Bay but be brave!

Pleasantly surprised. I have had a hot or cold record with corporate steakhouses but this one was definitely a hit. I had a business lunch here and it went very well. The booths were just the right size. The volume was neither too loud or too quiet. And the food was fast and tasty. We were out in an hour with lots of talking so it was a good meeting place too. I ordered the salad and sandwich. The salad had one piece or romain with some slight brown on the stalk but was otherwise fresh. The blue cheese dressing was delicious. I also had the steak sandwich and it was perfectly cooked. I like a little more seasoning on my Steak but it was fine. They also serve it with some bacon and cheese potato chips which was a nice touch. And what was better was that it was very reasonable. I will have to remember this place in the future.

We've visited twice recently and it's really just 2.5 stars kind of place. I generally try to avoid chains but this is very close to our home and when you're starving and it's pouring down rain, I'll settle for LongHorn. I would never go out of my way to eat here. It was crazy busy at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon so we thought we would just sit at the bar. Bad call. Bartender gave totally shitty service and complained the entire time about how busy she is and how she needs two more arms. Thanks for that it really added to our dining pleasure. That being said, the food was decent. His sirloin was cooked rare, as ordered and seasoned well. I had 1/2 soup and sandwich. The French onion soup was borderline cold and the cheese was no where near melted. I would have sent it back but she was clearly avoiding eye contact with us. Oh well! I got the shaved prime rib sandwich last time, which was good but I went with a new to the menu one this time. It was sirloin with a chimichurri mayo. The bread was so tough I had to discard it. I had one large piece of grizzle and there was no discernible mayo that I could find. I would not order this again. If you want to order the French onion soup, which is Ok, not great but not terrible, I would suggest ordering it well done. You may get melted cheese. In summary, I would only return if I was starving and it's pouring down rain again. Oh and yeah, that bread is bangin

I'm very happy with my experience here. The bread was nice and fresh. The Caesar salad was crispy and not overly dressed and the steak was pretty good too. I've had better, but as far as steak houses go, I'm very happy with this one. It's very dim in there which depending on the ambiance you're going for is nice or sucks. Being so dim, it gives you quite a bit more privacy than if it were well lit.

I love this longhorn. One of the few good steak places left. I would reccommend this to anyone. Service was great. I like the clean smell when you walk in. Sirloin steak is great.

Pretty good service! They were fast and friendly. They make customers feel at home . I had the New York strip and it was delicious. I will definitely come back again, in the future I would like my steak a little warmer but apart from that everything was awesome.

this longhorns never disappoints! the parm crusted asparagus app we tried tonight was great. I always get the sirloin and sweet potato with the house salad. Great service, quality and price at $11.99.

Food was fast and amazing! The staff was very attentive and helpful as to picking out food paired with drinks. I will visit again for sure! We did wait a while to be seated but the food and service made up for it

Pretty good food at a decent price. Definitely a HUGE step over outback, but still somewhat on the chain side.

I hadn't been here for a while but went today for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised with the lunch size filet. The house salad could use some improvement...it wasn't bad but it could have used some greens versus just iceberg lettuce. My husband had the shaved prime rib sandwich that he said was pretty good. Definitely pricey for a typical lunch but they had many items that were reasonably priced. We also had a very good server which is always a plus.

This is one of the better cheaper restaurants to get a steak. They generally cook them well and they are well seasoned. I recommend getting the Outlaw Ribeye. I had it last week with mixed vegetables on the side. It was really good and filling. I also ordered the chicken firecracker rolls for an appetizer and I could verily finish my steak. The steak isn't going to be as good as some of the steakhouses in the area, but it is great for the price. We will be back.

I love Longhorn but this location leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered French onion soup and the cheese on the top wasn't fully melted. Normally the cheese will drip along the sides of the bowl, instead I could see the square edges where it wasn't even remotely melted. The Parmesan crusted chicken sandwich is normally awesome, but the bun was so black and burnt I couldn't even eat it. I had to remove the chicken and eat it sans bun. It was so bad I actually took a picture of it as I planned to send a letter to the HQ. It just so happens I completed the survey on my receipt about my visit and let them know how my experience. I never expected anyone to call me so i sent the picture along with a letter to the HQ. The Manager did actually call and email me based on my survey response. He let me know that their bun toaster had broken but it should not have been served black and burnt. He asked for me to send him my contact info as he wanted to send me a gift card for my poor experience. I emailed him back and included a copy of the letter and picture. I never heard back and sent a followup two weeks later as I wanted to make sure he did see the picture. Never did get a gift card from him. This doesn't mean I will stop going to Longhorn I just will not go back to this location.

I have always loved this place and only get to visit when I visit my mother. You can always count on an excellent steak cooked perfectly and good service. Did notice they have cut back the sides like the other locals in the area. Seems harder to get a "balanced" meal around town these days. However; their seasoning and consistency with the temperature of their excellent cuts of meat tops everything else in the area as far as I'm concerned. A must if you're visiting. Wish we had one in California in our area. These people need to expand across the country. Best steaks I've every had.

This used to be a good restaurant but my last visit has completely changed my mind. The food was mediocre, the prices too high, and the drink prices were out of sight! Plus the bartender did his best to entice us to order more expensive drinks. It's not the bartenders fault , I'm sure it is company policy. So to this restaurant company I say "I hope you change your policies or go out of business, your choice."

Always had a good experience at this location. Been there for lunch, dinner and late dinner. Love the bone in ribeye. Food comes to the table at a decent wait time. Good size portions and doesn't taste like a food chain kind of steak house...uhhh hum...Outbacks.
