I love cupcakes, and I especially love these cupcakes. The store is pretty cute and the lady serving you the goodies is very nice. They have plenty of cupcakes to choose from and they also carry some cookies, cake pops, and a few other things. The cupcakes here are top notch. We like the bunny wabbit, peanut butter and very vanilla the most, but everything is delicious. So, if you are having a birthday, or get together, or any event and or any other excuse you might want to use go get yourself there, do it and you won't regret it.

Mmmmm cupcakes!! I love little stores like this! When we visited (very pink, by the way!) it was the owner and her son at the store. Chatted for a bit, bought a cake pop (I had never had one, but I love cake!) which was tasty, a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting and a huge chocolate/vanilla parfait. Everything was delicious, and I never thought I'd find myself saying this, but I actually think there was too much thick, dense, frosting in the parfait! I felt sick after I ate it (but it didn't stop me from finishing it!!!!) and I think it was just a huge sugar overload, and it was very, very, dense. But soooo good! I would say it was worth it, but I'll be more careful next time :) The only thing that I wish could be changed is the location. It's the in the back corner of a small, mostly abandoned strip mall, so you don't even really notice it. :( Places like this deserve so much more recognition!

I love love love , I love cupcakes. Went one day and came back with my husband (who doesn't normally like sweets) within a week. I'll be bringing them to a dinner party, just can't get enough. They have a large variety including gluten free and vegan which helps accommodate everyone. The owner and family who do the day to day operations are super nice and very friendly which I find seriously lacking in other establishments. I love the cupcakes and I love 'I love cupcakes'!!

Every single cupcake they make is AMAZING. Stellar flavors, amazing party ideas, great customer service. I just can't say enough about them. A must try for any party. The only place we consistently use.

Unless you know what you're seeking, chances are you'll just pass this unassuming small plaza where most suites appear empty. I Love Cupcakes sits in the corner, tiny but packed. With pink décor, Bakery trinkets everywhere, and photos--this place is really cute and girly. MOSTLY THIS IS THEIR WORK SPACE Although there are small café tables, I imagine this place is mostly to grab and go. A section of the display case features beautifully decorated, cutesy Cupcakes. Most of the time though I'm in-and-out because I'm picking up an order placed via phone. Prices are appropriate and service excellent, I just wish they were open later or during weekends. GLUTEN-FREE AND REGULAR YUMMINESS A simple, small Cake created without Gluten or Dairy had a moist, fluffy base although the cake itself didn't give much flavor. The frosting (which I understand is harder to mimic) was a bit harder and very sweet. The Vanilla Cupcakes and Red Velvet GF Cupcakes I've had were similar--but I really enjoy the taste of the Cake part. Rich and not too sweet. Regular Cupcakes (my fam says) seemed like they were melting in goodness in their mouths. The frosting was rich and creamy.

I'm just not a cake fan. Id rather have a piece of pie or a cookie, but when you have a craving for something sweet, and you pull up yelp, you go with what it suggested. I Love Cupcakes is in a random strip center on the corner of belcher and ulmerton. You would pass it by a thousand times and not notice it. Inside it's pretty plain. Nothing fancy but not sterile either. There was one girl baking and working the front. I noticed about 3 GF options and about 8 regular ones. A regular cupcake will run you $2.50. A gluten free will run you $4. I went with the almond shortbread cookie (meh-tasted a little old) and the bunny wabbit cupcake. Basically a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. It was definitely moist but not the best. I'm sure it was homemade but it didn't scream, "grandma's recipe". Would I go back? Sure but I wouldn't go out of my way.

DONT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! I guess I should have listened to the previous review. But I honestly didn't check yelp until after leaving. The owner is so rude. She complained about the usage of a yelp coupon. First by saying " I'm the owner, this is my business it is up to me if I decide to redeem a coupon or not" Also added "if I honored every coupon I would be out of business" I was not happy at the time and questioned the usage of why the coupon was even on yelp.. she answered saying " you don't have to buy anything or shop here" I replied saying" this really says a lot about your business and concern/appreciation of customers.. then I walked out... But I want to add something that I thought to myself after leaving. She refused to redeem a coupon and said she would go out of business and didn't care if I left without buying a thing. So what kind of business will stay open without customers!? So disrespectful she was... Never will I ever return or recommend this establishment to ANYONE! I hope she regrets how she treated me and I hope yelp removes those coupons and saves anyone who talks themselves into going just because of a coupon.

My first response was..."They are so cute". My parents ordered a couple dozen cupcakes for my birthday, every type of cupcake they had but one. These cupcakes are much better than the ones I have had in St. Pete, they actually taste like homemade cupcakes and don't taste like they were made from a boy mix. Appearance: cute but a couple could have been decorated a little more. Flavors: All the flavors where good, I think the amaretto was one of my favorite. I also liked the chocolate heaven it was really moist and had great flavor. The chocolate chip one was really good I have to add that one to my list of favorites; I was very moist and full of chocolate chips. I'm not into banana so my family ate those and said they were really good. There were a couple cupcakes that I wasn't impressed with, the peanut butter chocolate which is my favorite flavor combo, was very dry and disappointing. There was cheesecake one that tasted like vanilla cake and the frosting was flavored like cheesecake which was fine but I think the cake was somehow supposed to be like cheesecake. The coconut was ok but I think it was supposed to have coconut cream inside but it didn't. The carrot cake was good but a little heavy on the spice so if you like those spices this would be the cupcake for you. Overall they were good, the frosting had a good consistency and great flavor, almost all the cupcakes had good texture expect for one. Almost all of them were decorated nicely, a couple could have used a little more to them. So a little tweaking in a few areas would put my rating to a 5.

The Lime Coconut mini cupcakes were a hit as I stated in previous review. 2 stars since they were really good. We have returned several times to sample other style and flavor options regular, gluten free, vegan. They were not very good. After bringing them home and taking a bite we threw them out. Go to Frida's, Mazzaro's, Alessi's or Wright's Gourmet. Splurging on calories should be delicious.

All Future customers!* We went in to visit this place recently and were very rudely treated by the owner, me and a friend came in and inquired about the free cupcake with purchase and all was well and good however she said we could only use one per customer per visit. We both had a phone but she refused to honor her own deal. She was very rude how she stated it as well, if you want to be a successful business you need to get some better customer service skills! We have had their cupcakes in the past and they are NOT the best by far, small and real dry, but we seen the deal on yelp and thought to give them one more chance. Big mistake! If you want some great cupcakes try GiGi's or Sweet Tweets at least they treat customers right! If you are thinking about trying this place trust me, skip it.

I ordered a birthday cake here recently and was overly charged for my daughter's birthday cake. She gave me one price when I ordered and during pickup it was $200 more. The cake and cupcakes were not that great to justify the price. I was very disappointed and will never do business here again. BEWARE!!!

I love this little cupcake shop. It's adorable on the unsafe with pink decorations everywhere (even the ink of the pen was pink!). They have a good vegan selection. Some of the cupcakes are filled and some aren't. Some are better than others. All in all it's a decent cupcake for the price and the store is cute. I mainly love it because it's less than a mile from my office.

Great little cupcake shop! Not only was I able to place a custom order for mini cupcakes so I could assemble an edible bouquet for a bridal shower, but the owner gave me some tips as to how to help it stay. What's more, they were delicious! A huge hit with the shower guests. I will definitely be back.

As the store's name says, I love cupcakes! How can I resist not going? Their cupcake is $2.5 each but $12 for 6 cupcakes=$2 each, which I found reasonable. My favorite: -Banana creme pie -Caramel Apple -Bunny Wabbit Their cakes are very moist and they have the perfect balance of sweetness. The lady at the store is very nice and helpful. If you think Cupcake Spot is good, try this place. I found this place much better and affordable.

My love affair began on the search for a gluten free/vegan baker that could make cupcakes for my partners 50th birthday. We tried Stacy's in Tampa, Sweet Cupcake a Factory in St. Pete and lastly we tried I Love Cupcakes......Hands down the very best gluten free/vegan cupcake I have ever tried, and I have tried a lot. She make regular size and mini's, she make full on cakes, biscotti (which I dint even like, until I tried hers), brownies, cookies, milanos, pies, lemon bars....the list goes on. The cupcakes are so moist and just the right amount of flavor. Coconut and apple caramel are my very favorite.......close runner ups are almond butter banana, chocolate mint, strawberry vanilla, lemon, and did I mention the biscotti. Sherry is beyond acommidating with my dietary needs and always so helpful and super friendly. We ordered about 100 mini cupcakes for the 50th party and no one could believe they were gf/vegan, they literally were the hit of the party. So glad I stumbled upon this little cupcake ray in Largo, just wish it had been sooner.

I liked the idea of this cupcake place but they really didn't keep well in their display case and made them very dry. The parfait I got was a mixture of really dry and plain wet. The chocolate cookies were pretty bomb though, they were HUGE for $1.25 It made me sad that not even half their advertised flavors on their website are available for purchase if walk in, they seem to be more order ahead oriented. if you go here be sure to check in with your phone and get a free cupcake or parfait! If you plan to buy a dozen there is a Yelp deal to get $24 for $18.

Stopped by here after trying some Chicago dogs across the street and looked on Yelp for dessert near by. It's in a small and empty strip small and they may move soon. Not much walk in traffic but they are getting known for catering. All their cupcakes are made form scratch with natural ingredients. I tried the Key Lime Coconut. At $2.50 for a small cupcake, it was a bit pricey but a slice of heaven.

This store sells the kind of cupcakes that you likely desire after watching The Food Network. Medium-sized cakes with a HUGE dollop of delicious buttery/sugary/yummy frosting on top. I had the chocolate (brownie) cupcake with peanut butter frosting and the red velvet with white cream cheese frosting. The red velvet was the superior of the two. I loved the red cake and frosting, and it was hard to make it last more than a few seconds. The chocolate/brownie peanut butter cupcake was by no means a bad cupcake, but the brownie wasn't as moist or sweet as I had hoped. The frosting made up for that fact. Other than being a little pricey (as most cupcake specialty places seem to be) and a bit out of the way (a remote corner of an empty parking lot mall) this was a wonderful place to swing in and grab some top-shelf cupcakes. Recommended!

The cupcakes are moist; the french toast one is unique! I love the peanut butter cookies (her own recipe). Call ahead to see if there are lemon bars available.

Super delicious, decadent and whimsy! My Mom and I stopped in on 4/21/12 which was my "cheat day" on my diet. Instead of a pre-packaged chain grocery store cupcake, I was craving the type that I see on Cupcake Wars. I did a Google search and saw I Love Cupcakes and we made our way over there. We were greeted by the Mother of the owner and she was so sweet and friendly! She was very knowledgeable about the ingredients of the cupcakes and treated us like we were special guests in her home. I ordered a s'more cupcake, a vanilla cupcake and my Mom had a peanut butter banana cupcake. They were so moist and delicious...just divine! You can totally taste every ingredient in the cupcake. The atmosphere was very cute and pink. I'm in my late 20s and my Mom is in her 50s and it just made us feel so giddy! Loved it! I can't wait until next month for another cheat day....I will be back! :-)

I love cupcakes, but these need some freshness to kick them up a notch or 3. The store was very quaint and it was a warm feeling by the owner. The variety of cupcakes were great. Always nice to have a good selection to please everyone you are buying for. As for the cost, YIKEs, a bit expensive for the size and quality. I am not sure if they are made fresh every morning, but for the price they should be. Overall, I liked the store, but 3 is all I could give.
