Upon driving down East Bay Rd I couldn't help but notice the colorful billboard for Duece's Sports Bar. This restaurant is owned by Marcus and Dexter Mcallister the Largo High School grad who now plays for the KC Chiefs. I had low expectations for this place but I decided to drop in. As I walked in there was an arcade to the right and a pool table to the left and as you walk further 4 or 5 tables, a bar and a few TV's. The place was crazy dark and my eyes took a minute to adjust. I was greeted by the owner and after looking over the menu decided on the shrimp po boy. I was not a big fan of the decor, lighting, atmosphere, or cheap menus that were falling apart. The food was a different story, My Po Boy had a generous portion of fresh buffalo style shrimp, with a perfectly toasted bun and it was about $7. The flavor from the shrimp was great, the sandwich was actually pretty killer and it was served with curly fries. This place gets a 3 overall because the food was good and priced right. I am not a huge fan of the decor even though it was clean I just wasn't feeling it. I would eat there again, maybe get some takeout instead. Dueces..
