We order from them for the first time tonight... They were amazing the best take out we have had here for Chinese. We have been here for five years. The only thing we wanted more filling in is their crab rangoon. We will be ordering from them again

Wish I could give negative stars because one is far too kind... China Wok is China Wrong! I work at one of the companies close to the establishment and a few co- workers talked me into ordering lunch with them from China Wok. I finally gave in and placed the order for me and another co- worker. The order was for Hunan Shrimp with veggie fried rice and Beef and Broccoli with fried rice and an order of fried chicken wings. The one and only great thing about the experience was that the delivery time was projected to be an hour but they were at the building in 25 minutes. My co-workers and I checked the order and realized we should have gone to Chik Fil A or Publix for a sub. The fried wings were black and oily. Clearly this place does not change their frying oil on a daily basis. The Beef was very tough and rubbery and the rice and broccoli were both under cooked in a salty brown oil sauce. My poor co- worker who is a devout vegetarian found meat laced in his veggie rice which he was eating befor he realized the meat. When I called the restaurant about the order I was told that (1), I ordered wrong (when I would never order meat for this person), (2) that my wings were fine because everyone he knows likes their wings cooked like that and lastly the beef and broccoli was always prepared the same so no mistakes were made on their part. So after agreeing to disagree with the order taker, I asked if more wings could be brought out because they were inedible. I was told that I could have store credit because it would inconvenience the driver although the restaurant was not too busy to take my money. My co- worker also called to complain about his meal because the pork in his food made him sick and the staff didn't apologize because according to them, "I ordered the meal wrong and everyone eats meat." This restaurant has clearly lost their mind and will never get another dime from us. Better off buying frozen PF Changs!

This place is located in a plaza/mall. The owners are always very nice and accommodating. I Always get the lunch specials. Either chicken lo mien with white rice or general tsos chicken and a soda. But I have tried the fried rice, chicken and veggies, crab Rangoon and they are all delicious as we'll. This is the only Chinese take out I go to. I've had bad expletives at the two closest to my home so I always go here and it's always good. I recommend this place for taste and service.

DONT USE A CREDIT CARD....We order delivery from here sometimes and the food is pretty good. The delivery man drops the food off and we tip 1$ on card recipt and give 3$ cash (all cash i had at time). Checked bank statement couple days later and it was for 3$ more than we gave him. Called manager and he looked at recipt and said yes it has been altered. He said he let the driver go. ....but did not because he delivered to us a few days later. It was only 3 bucks but theft none the less. Also manager lied about actions taken. Probably won't order from here again. But if you do use cash because it could have been more $$ or they may do this all the time.

They seriously need to get some air conditioning in here. We originally ordered our food for there but in the end we had to leave the time waiting for the food we had busted into complete sweats from the temp inside. Food was meh ..... I wanted chicken mei fun but evidently you can only get shrimp mei fun for lunch so I had to order the dinner portion... The chicken wad slimy and rubbery so I just ate the noodles. My friend enjoyed their lunch portion of sesame chicken and low mein.. I guess I should have stuck to something simple.

Hands down, best Orange Chicken I've ever had at a Chinese take-out. It was super crispy and and was infused with a ton of orange flavor from the huge pieces of orange peel in the sauce. Definitely worth every penny of the $5 lunch special, and then some, especially considering most Chinese places don't even offer Orange Chicken on a lunch menu.

Was stuck in the office one day and decided to order in. Saw this place had an online ordering process. Sweet! Easy enough, ordered my food and waited...and waited...and waited...finally after an hour I called the place up and asked what was up. Lady who answered said the driver had left a while ago. Ok...and then funny enough, I received a phone call about 2 minutes later from the driver apologizing, saying that traffic was horrible etc. Said he'd see me in about 15 minutes. WTF? This place is less than 2 miles from me according to Google Maps. So I'm guessing he took a few orders with him to go and I was probably not the first stop on his list. Needless to say, he finally got to me, food was not hot. And mediocre in taste. Definitely not worth the 1.5 hour wait. Will not be ordering again.

Ordered bourbon chicken dinner tonight and the sauce was so thick it was like eating chunks of chicken out of a jello mold. The "pork" fried rice lacked pork and the plain chicken wings are just that, plain. Most places will at least give them a soy sauce marinade before frying them. The wonton egg drop soup was the highlight of the meal. Probably won't be ordering from there again, there are way better places around to waste the money for poorly cooked food

So... it's been a little over a year since I've ordered from here. Once again, found ourselves in a pinch for dinner... but... I have to say... even with the meh experience we had the first time... I'm glad a ordered from them. The food was delicious. We ordered: Sweet & Sour Shrimp, Beef & Broccoli, and Bourbon Chicken, cheese steak egg-rolls, and wonton soup. Order was over $35, so we used an online coupon from their website - did I mention you can order online?! - and received a FREE General Tso's Chicken. None of the food was bland or too oily this time, and the fried rice has mellowed from bright orange to a dull yellow. We will definitely be ordering from them again if they keep up the good work like they did tonight. Oh... delivery dude was super nice!

Maybe I have been spoiled since most of the Chinese Food I have eaten has been on the west coast, but this place was horrible, I have been around quite a bit and Fried Rice is brown, not yellow!!

Waited over an hour for my delivery order. When I called the guy said it had only been 37 minutes, I explained I have an e-mail confrim from them which is time stamped and it has been in fact an hour. He said the driver was on the way. I cancelled the order. This place not only has horrible service but then to be rude on top of it???? Seriously - is ther any decent Chinese place in Pinellas?

Uh, my order was wrong - wanted sesame chicken (got orange) and yellow rice not fried rice.....plus it didn't even taste good. Seriously, there's a place right down the street which is better, but I was too lazy to drive the extra block to New China Beach on Ulmerton. China Gag. Will never do go here again!

When I found China Wok and they delivered I was excited. However, I have never seen yellow fried rice. It was the most bland fried rice I have ever had!! I put a lot of soy sauce in it and it was still bland! Will not be ordering from them again!

Food is delicious, made to order, and quickly done. When you call for pick up, it's practically ready when you get there. The house fried rice has a little bit of everything, and is so delicious. And the egg rolls are to die for. They also have the best wonton soup I've ever tasted from a fast food chinese place. Service is stupendous.

Not a bad place to stop in for lunch. Had the orange chicken which was good and came with drink or eggroll on lunch special.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
