Food has always been very good, plenty of daily specials. Downside is upkeep. Doors entering need to be cleaned, pushing filthy. Two tables need the laminate redone that we sat at, edging unglued.

The food here is regularly quite good. Their gyros are excellent. They are huge and taste great. The saganaki is usually pretty good. Every now and then you get a rookie serving it and they don't use enough liquor to let the fire burn long enough. Overall, it's good stuff. Breakfast is awesome. The omelettes are big and stuffed well. The dinner platters are just huge. There's just too much food for one person to eat. My wife loves the lemon rice soup. The only real issue is the upkeep of the hardware. The carpets could use replacing and many of the booths need to be redone. The staff are friendly, the prices are very affordable, and the place serves breakfast all day long. I'm a fan.

Best Dinner I've ever visited, friendly, clean and delicious. Food is plenty and inexpensive. Breakfast is a must, from the Grits to the delicious Home Fries and HashBrowns. Staff makes you feel welcomed, it is a very warm place. My fiancée and I come here every Sunday for breakfast and on and off for dinner, never disappointed. If looking for a warm breakfast or fresh dinner visit this Dinner.

Carry-out dinner from Acropol. If there's a better gyro on Planet Earth, I'd like to see (and taste) it! So awesomely good. Tons of meat, soft, warm pita. Already looking ahead to my next!

This is one of my favorite mom and pop places. This is the second location --- we normally visit the original location on Sunset Point Road. The food here is just as good as the original. This is not a fancy or modern place at all. However, the food is just good and the prices are very reasonable. You won't go wrong here for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Been here several times. Basically a Greek influenced menu with other home cooked items. A diner feel with pretty good selection. Nothing fancy, just good food at a good price.

Just ok. My husband enjoyed his gyro. Salad came with a creamy dressing which was....ok. lemon soup had no taste whatsoever. Very friendly wait staff.

This is a great restaurant IMHO. Breakfast is the best value in the Largo area. They have a diverse menu that all will enjoy. I enjoy their Gyro platter, also Ruben sandwich is good too.

Greek food here is outstanding. Breakfast is good. The rest is yuck. My phone doesn't work there which is so annoying.

I wish that I could give this place a better review but I can't. We always want to try new things on their menu. Unfortunately, we have faced a lot of disappointment when we have. We have come here, off and on, for at least the last 15yrs. I can state that they do serve a good basic breakfast, however some of their other menu items fall flat. On one recent visit, we had to send French fries back because they were old and hard as a rock. On another we got horribly greasy over-cooked fried fish. To say something positive, their club sandwiches and Greek salads are worth making a trip for. It should be noted that the wait staff is always friendly. This is truly one of those restaurants where you get what you pay for. This restaurant's decor it outdated and a bit dusty but OMG, the renovated bathrooms are something to see!

This is a nice place. If you remember the old Po Folk's Restaurant this is the same building with a color change. There is not much to look at as far appearance, in fact, it could use a makeover to improve its looks. The plus to this is the bathrooms have been recently remodeled with a successful improvement. The atmosphere is like that of a diner without the "over the top" counter that you would expect; they have a counter but they typically have very few people setting at as the dining room is large. This place has a good following and you could experience a line at the front door on the weekends; although, I have never experienced a line longer than 15 minutes or so. The customer services is good. I was greeted and seated promptly on my last visit with assistance from one of the wait staff who saw that I was waiting for the host, who was assisting another customer, so she responded to the need as a team player and had me follow her to a table. My order was promptly taken where I ordered a basic breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns, grits, and toast. All of which was prepared to my satisfaction, I did have to remind her of the grits which was quickly brought to my table. She did adjust my check to correct the order. It was a basic miscommunication which she handled very well. I very pleased to find that my check even with adjustment for the error on the grits was still below $6. I have not been to this location for dinner but I would recommend it as a breakfast stop.

Let's start with the service or lack thereof. There were two of us for lunch and the place was not crowded. This should be sign #1. One meal was wrong rice instead of fries with the broiled lamb ribs. Fries were not the best some were hard undercooked and inedible. The broiled lamb ribs were so far from broiled they were flabby covered in oregano. I like and use oregano but this was overboard. Geek salads were good as was the Pasticcio. Sign #2 was the side of canned, yes canned gray peas. Not enough positives for a return trip.

Pretty good. Large portion sizes pretty plain otherwise. Good service, feels like a diner.

The is our first time to spend the winter in this area, so we're always on the lookout for good food. Had driven by this place a few times, decided to try it for breakfast this morning. We arrived about 10:30 on a Sunday, and noticed a lot of cars in the lot. However, the place must be larger than it appears, because we were seated with a few minutes and a waitress poured coffee...which was simply ok. I had to go get my own creamer off another table. By the time our waitress returned to take our order, several other tables had been seated and the deluge of people had started. Most were our age (over 55) or older and looked like they eat at only the proverbial "home cooking at the lowest price possible" type of place. I wasn't dressed up, but most of the other diners looked like they might consider Outback or Carrabas a fine dining experience. I heard our waitress tell someone she had been waiting tables for 30 years. Considering wait staff are usually paid below min wage and largely depend on tips to make it - I'm shocked this woman has been able to make ends meet! She was not friendly, and just acted like she was putting in her time. We ordered pretty standard breakfast fare: eggs, bacon, hash browns, biscuits with gravy. The only thing different was my scrambled eggs had gyro meat in them and were suppose to be covered in cheese. When our food finally arrived - at least 20 or 25 mins. later, it looked less than appetizing and was ordinary. My eggs had 1 slice of plain ole orange colored American or Velvetta cheese laid across the top, which I scraped off. At the very least, I expected some Greek herbs and feta cheese since this is a Greek Restaurant!!!! The biscuits and gravy were tasteless, and I suspect the "gravy" was either a pkg mix or out of a can. Biscuits were very dense and without some gravy sort of tasted more like a dinner roll. My husband and I decided the only thing good about the entire order, was they got our hash browns crispy. Their other meals may be okay - but I doubt if we'll bother to go back. too many other places to spend our retirement money. So if you're a foodie like us who wants originality and something way beyond okay - DO NOT GO FOR BREAKFAST.

We usually have take out from Acropol. We love the Acropol steak and Pete's gyro platter. The platter comes with a lot of the gyro meat, a greek style salad with a scoop of potato salad, pita bread and tatziki sauce. Their zatziki sauce is really good with lots of garlic and cucumber. The gyro meat has always been tasty ! We would always get the gyro here and no where else !

I'm surprised by the good reviews... maybe we went on an off day. We got the Large Greek Salad for our app. It was ...OK. The server came about 5 minutes before our salad arrived and dropped off some bread and pots of dressing... without any explanation. After a few tastes we decided it must be dressing. When we got the salad, while decent... they did not rinse the Pepperonchini's, so the saltiness for overpowering. For our entrees we ordered chicken souvlaki pitas. The chicken was so badly overcooked it was pretty much inedible. Not only was it very dry, but it was burnt to the point that it tasted of carbon! I tend to like my food well done, so for me to say it's overcooked, is something. Their tzatiki sauce is way to heavy on the cucumber for me. Yes of course it's essentially 'cucumber sauce' , but I think it should merry all of the flavors of the cuc, garlic, dill, etc...but all you could taste was the Cucumber. Our waitress was horrible... she seemed like she had better things to be doing than serving us. She did come by once we had gotten our salad and sd " is everything OK?"... sure it's OK.... is that all your going for? She never asked how our meal was once we got our entrees. Didn't even ask when we told her we did not want a box for our pitas, even though we'd only taken a couple bites. Needless to say we will not be returning. I will say the potato salad was yummy, but not good enough to make up for the rest!
