Went here for lunch today for my fourth visit and had the chicken teriyaki lunch box. Holy cow was it a lot of food. First you get a salad, followed by soup, then your meal (which consists of chicken teriyaki, seaweed salad, pad thai, and a crispy (or was it crunchy?) roll). It was all pretty good, but there was way too much there. Wait, is that actually a problem? It's a nice, quiet place to get a tasty, quick meal. It's also relatively inexpensive at lunch (my meal was $10 today), which is another perk.

Been back a few times, mostly for takeout. Still enjoy the taste of the food here, but portion size and cost are pretty disappointing. 8 medium sized shrimp in a curry dinner entree, for $17. Thank god I added extra veg ( for $2) or I'd be starving. If you come hungry order a double portion, but be prepared for sticker shock when the bill arrives.

This place has amazing and authentic thai. I have eaten thai all over the world and this is one of the best. Warning to those who have low spice tolerance their dishes run hot so err on 1 star and request spice on the side.

Thai food is my one of my favorite foods. So when I had my sisters over last night for a glass of wine we decided that rather than going out to eat we would order our food for pick up. I ordered the green curry with shrimp. Possibly the wort I have ever had. No real flavor, the curry was so runny and flavorless that I thought I was actually having a soup! The chicken my sister ordered had no flavor and tasted stale. SO NOT WORTH THE $30!!!! This morning around 1 am I was woken up with sharp pains in my stomach and I had to run to the bathroom because I had to throw up and ....(Ill spare you the rest of the details). I texted my sisters and they too were in the bathroom with terrible stomach pains. I would never put up such review other than the fact to tell you to avoid this place at all cost unless you think mediocre food with food poisoning is okay!

Don't come here if it's busy or a holiday. Ordered at 7 and was told 30 minutes till food was ready. Got there at 7:40. Left with food at 8:50. Once home, we realized that the shrimp green curry only had vegetables, though they charged for the shrimp, the brown rice we ordered was white rice, and the red curry was WAY over-salted. Not only this, but the credit card machine was down for the whole hour I was there; luckily I barely had enough cash. I have no idea what the rest of the customers, especially those dining in, did to pay. I have never been compelled to write a review on any restaurant. Obviously, bad service would inspire anyone to do so, rather than good. Usually the food is great and service is alright, so I don't know what happened tonight. Just don't plan on being home before your patience is beyond tested.

I ordered chicken fried rice, the coconut soup and a side of peanut sauce. I haven't had Thai food since relocating from Atlanta that has some amazing Thai restaurants. This was quite possibly the worst Thai food I have ever had. My chicken fried rice had onions and tomatoes? in it and the blandest thing I have ever eaten. It was basically flavorless and even the chicken didn't seem fresh. The cheap Chinese place down the street has more flavor. Smh.. The soup was just mediocre at best. A little too thick and sweet for my tastes but edible at least. The side of peanut sauce for $2. It was the equivalent of 2 Tbsp in a tiny container usually reserved for condiments that are free. I don't even know how anyone could have rated this place with 5 stars. Perhaps they give all the old food to people who are getting take out. I wouldn't eat here again if it was free.

This went from the best Thai food ever to the worst after the new owners took over. It is the difference of fresh vrs leftover food being served. It's sad that the goodwill transferred at the time of the restaurants sale was not valued. Every time I walk past the place it is empty, it was once a gold mine.

Ate here Sunday night. only a couple of tables seated. Lots of takeout orders coming in and out. I ordered the Pad Woon Sen (clear noodles). Chose 2 stars (med spicy). Was a little hotter than 2 stars but the dish was great. Veggies were cooked perfect and sauce had great flavor. My friends both got the Pad Thai and said it was very good. We got the fried bananas for dessert and it was YUMMY!

There are several Thai restaurants in Palm Beach county and all have their pluses and minuses (good tom yum soup, not so great curry, etc). in my opinion, Thai Grand Palace is one of the best overall. Having lived in the DC area, where just about every Thai restaurant is outstanding, I've had to adjust my standards here. Pad thai is the benchmark dish of any Thai restaurant and they do that well, although it could use a few more shrimp. The curries are also nice, without overdoing it on the coconut milk, and the tom yum soup is flavorful. I appreciate that brown rice is available as a choice. My experience with spiciness in Florida is that most chefs err on the bland side. The interpretation of how many stars equals how much spiciness can vary here, I guess depending on who's in the kitchen. Two stars is usually my choice for a moderate amount of spice, but sometimes even with only two stars my tongue is on fire. Service is efficient; they do a great job of keeping the water glasses filled (I like how they make the lemon slices look like animals) and even when the place is busy, food comes out of the kitchen pretty quickly. Great place to meet friends for lunch or dinner.

I am across the street in the homewood and felt like some Thai. Was initially discouraged by the fact there is no online menus so i could order takeout, so I went over. Decent enough place, kinda dark, very empty, weird hours. I ordered the curry puffs and beef basil, 5 star native thai, and made sure to ask for plenty of chili sauce. 9 minutes later the food came out, they were all very polite. Checked the bag had the tiniest cup of chili sauce, asked for more, got it no charge :) better than Zhaings. The whole meal cost me $18.98. well spiced, decent portion, I only wish I had gotten the peanut sauce with puffs. The beef basil had more veg than beef, next time I might order more or extra meat. But I love Thai and I will go back

This place is my all time favorite Thai place and I have been to a LOT of Thai restaurants. It may be kind of small or dinky, but the decor is pretty cool and the food is AMAZING. I have never had better Panang Curry or Pad Thai at any other Thai restaurant. The lunch special is great, too, as you get a salad or soup (soup comes with a really good spring roll) and lemonade or iced tea in addition to your meal all for something like $8.00. I've been going here for years and love it!

Went for lunch today and was not impressed. Couldn't finish the house salad as the dressing was rather nasty... not what I was expecting. The seafood curry was fine fare as was the brown rice. Not bad, but nothing special. My favorite soup - Tom Kha Ghai was flavorful, but I ask that someone strain out the chunky inedible parts prior to serving. I know they impart a unique Thai flavor, but I have to pull a chunk or two out of my mouth during a business meeting.

Too expensive for dinner. Changed owners too. We noticed a change in the recipes once Lek was no longer there. it got booted right out of our rotation. The food is average and really not worth the prices they are charging.

We love the food here, and order take-out quite a bit. My favorite is the Basil Fried rice and I add chicken. Also, the Red Curry dishes are great. I had the crispy duck as dine-in and it was fantastic, as a take-out not nearly as impressive. I gave them a 3 star because they often get our order incomplete. I am a fan of Thai Iced Tea, and every time I order it they forget it. I would suggest checking your full order before taking it home. They don't seem to get the food wrong, but they don't always include everything. We usually to take out here 3-4 times a month and will occasionally eat in (about 2-3 times a year). The service for eat in is very slow, so plan on a long dinner. The service for eat in is so-so. They have always been very polite, but they are not attentive so it may be awhile if you need something. I have actually gotten out of my seat sought out assistance on several occasions. On the up side the atmosphere is quiet and pleasant, so I don't always mind the slow service, and I know what I need as far as condiments and things go, so I just ask for it all right away, so I don't worry to much about the mediocre service.

Group of ladies for dinner on a Tuesday night. We arrived around 6:30 and the place was pretty much empty. A couple folks were concerned that it meant the food wasn't up to par...have no fear, that could not have further from the truth. Every single dish that came out of the kitchen looked delicious and all the diners were happy with their choices. I love duck and if it's in the menu, I'll always order it. This crispy duck was the best I've had--with a choice of sauces. I chose the red chili sauce and was more than pleased. It was a generous serving and included a side salad and brown rice. I had enough to pack up a to go bag for my lunch the following day. I'll be back for sure :)

My favorite Thai in the neighborhood. Yes, they are more expensive than others, but it's worth it, and you get leftovers for lunch the next day. I recommend the red beef curry.

Average at best. Nice atmosphere, but food is to pricy for what you get. We had the Pad Thai and Chicken Green Curry. Both ordered medium heat. Heat overpowered flavor. Portions were large, but both chicken and shrimp were overlooked.

THis place is ok when you crave Thai in a pinch and tired of all the same food. I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic dinner but decent. Lunch specials are decent but eat there since it doesn't travel well.

Pretty good.. Average service and a lil pricey if not lunch time but food is definitely good! Lunch time makes it worth it. We paid around $8 (which is really cheap) for lunch size meal: soup and spring roll or salad + meal + iced tea or lemonade.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions.
