I too am from NY and have recently relocated to Jupiter. Authentic italian cooking and good Pizza are not common here, so when i got a flyer stuck in my door last week i thought I'd give this place a try. I called earlier tonight about 7pm and placed an order for a LG Pie with extra cheese, Sausage and eggplant. and a personal size "meat lovers" calzone, no pepperoni. I was told 40 minutes and they were pretty much spot on. The delivery guy brought the food in and i asked ,"how much"? $30.18...ok. I then gave him a coupon from the flyer for $5.00 off orders of $25 00 or more. He said he could not accept coupons. I was pissed, but checked the pizza ...fine and then the calzone...NOT FINE..it was not the calzone I ordered, but a stromboli. I told the kid the order was wrong and he told e to call Sal. He got tipped and he left. I then called Al Forno and asked for Sal. he got on the phone and I explained about the coupon from his flyer and then the screw up with the calzone....SAL has major attitude! He told me that he can't have delivery drivers accepting coupons cause they could hand them out to everyone and rip him off. when I pursued the problem with the missing calzone he gave me more attitude and yelled at me. at this point i told him I would never order from him again and would do my best to make sure that anyone i know will know about his disregard for his bread and butter. The pizza was ok, nothing to write home about, but the first experience with Al Forno Pizza , 75 E. Indiantown rd. Jupiter Florida 33477, left a very bad taste in my mouth. I have given this place no stars, because their leader , Sal is a rude arrogant bastard
The veal parm was so tender and delicious! Served with salad and garlic rolls and very reasonably priced! Portions are not skimpy! They serve the usual and more, pannini's, salads, subs, chicken, seafood. I have eaten there 4 times so far and I have been impressed each time! Next I will try the pizza. I have watched them make it and it looks yummy. You can get personal pan, medium and large or by the slice. Call ahead and if the phone is busy, keep calling! Definitely a great place!!
