Gave my boyfriend food poisoning!! This place is awful! First, we ordered frog legs, foie gras and lobster bisque. The frog legs came in a BROTH of butter and garlic. Super greasy, not at all pan seared, but boiled in butter. Gross! And this is what we suspect gave him the food poisoning, because he instantly couldn't eat his entree. I had a single frog leg and had heart burn all night and couldn't sleep. The foie gras was the highlight of the entire meal. Our friends didn't comment on the lobster bisque, but they shared it and didn't finish it, so I suspect it wasn't up to par. Next, we ordered bouilbasse, scallops, dover sole and bronzini. Our friend didn't even want to take his bouillabaisse home, despite not touching hardly anything. He said it tasted like "iodine". Lovely! My boyfriend nibbled on the bronzini, but his stomach was so upset from the fishy frog legs that he was over it. My girlfriend ate her scallops and I ate half my Dover sole, but it was bland, bland, bland.....could have been tilapia made at a cafeteria for a hospital. $270.00 and an upset stomach was all we had of our evening The only reason I'm giving this 1 star is because they have outdoor dining which is dog friendly. However, that's pretty much what they serve....dog food.

This is one of my favorite spots in Abacoa. The food and the service are consistently good. It's never too busy during lunchtime so it's always a pleasant experience. They have 3 course lunch specials that hit the spot. Try the endive and bleu cheese salad with walnuts. Yummy!

We often have Sunday brunch at Le Metro. We always have excellent service and the food is always excellent. Our son loves the steak tips. The vegetarian eggs Benedict is an excellent choice that I always enjoy. My wife and I also enjoy dinner at Le Metro. The boneless spare rib is delightful.

I took my mother here for lunch and the food was great, especially considering the $5 martinis and small-portion desserts (only $2.95). I had the Bistro Panini and thought it tasted great with the braised short ribs. My mother had the chicken aux Morilles and it was also very good. We started with the watermelon and cranberry martinis and they were just the thing on a warm afternoon. The waitress was also great and a pleasure to speak with. I will definitely bring others.

This place is the worst. I was excited to visit a French establishment as I used to live in France, but the food was blah, and what's more, everyone was rude. Very disappointing.

Wonderful food prepared with care. Not an impossible place to take children (if they are well behaved)- they actually serve grilled fish (they brought my 5 year old a salmon steak- which he loved). The Prix Fix and the early bird dinners are of good value. The ingredients are of high quality. I go there every few weeks for lunch; dinner was a nice treat.

The food at Le Metro is wonderful. I have become addicted to the freshly made balsamic vinegarette. The service is always attentive without being intrusive. One of my friends always wants to eat at Le Metro when she comes up to visit me. I'm beginning to think it's the only reason she visits.

I've been back a few times and have tried more of their menu (including a repeat of the Chicken aux Morelles) and really think that my previous review can be chalked up to not knowing what to expect. I really do enjoy the food here, as well as the service. It's a nice little lunch spot where you can just kick back and relax in their laid-back atmosphere with some good food. I have yet to try dinner, but I'm really looking forward to one of their wine tastings-- I missed the last one.

Chicken aux Morilles sauce was delicious and the same with the pan roasted duck which was cooked perfectly.

First, I ignore reviews that mention bad service or some other personal issue and then say the food was bad. Some reviewers have an axe to grind and aren't honest. I was so glad to discover le Metro -- even ordinary, familiar things like Caesar salad are so well made, they become special. The N.Eng. clam chowder is the best in the universe. The chef is just a great chef -- you don't go wrong here. There's another French restaurant I love for the complex and affordable selection of wines by the glass, but while le Metro Bistro doesn't make a big thing of a vast by-the-glass wine selection, it has expertly chosen, enjoyable wines that go well with the food, and food is what a restaurant is about. For excellent French food, you are not going to beat le Metro anywhere in all of Florida that I've tried, and I've tried many -- and definitely it isn't surpassed anywhere around here. I keep a place 1/2 hour from Paris and I eat like a pig, so I'm considering le Metro against tough competition.

On my last day in Pam Beach, my dad and I decided to go out for dinner with some friends. At their suggestion, it was going to be at Le Metro which was a short drive from our home. These friends like to eat early and also take advantage of the early specials (5pm - 6:30pm). My dad and I arrived early (at 5pm!) and we were immediately greeted by a wonderful and smiley server who even opened the door for us. We got a drink at the bar (which drinks are 50% off). Our friends soon arrived and we got to pick any table. There are two menu's you can choose from at this time: the regular menu OR the "early bird" menu where you can choose 3 courses (appetizers, main, and dessert) plus a glass of house wine for $18.95 which is a FABULOUS deal in my mind. My dad had one of the juiciest and tender-est lamb ever so he thoroughly enjoyed his meal. One friend had a Boillabaise which she loved so much she decided to take the left over juice and shells for soup stock. I enjoyed my Braised Short Ribs although it wasn't anything out of this world. Overall, the food here is good, but what I would really come back here for is the cute patio outdoors. It's very quaint and if you are at the restaurant during Happy Hour, they have 2 for 1 drink specials. Our server was amazing: pleasant, all smiles, and just great. No complaints in that department! I didn't see anything in the immediate area (not very familiar with other restuarants near by), but definitely will be back.

Friday night dinner for two. Ordered from the prix fixe 3 course menu. I had petite boulibaise and he had seared duck breast. Both of us had lobster bisque soup to start. Dessert was chocolate mousse and peach Melba. A martini each and coffee with dessert. Also one grand marnier. Cost 115. Well worth it. Everything was fantastic. Waitress phenominal

Went for the Sunday brunch/lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Nice ambience and the food was tasty. Enjoyed the veggie wrap and the short ribs panini. The mini croissants were yummy.

I've returned a few times since the first posting because there aren't any other places to go near TSRI. I've never had a meal that went beyond "tasty." The veggie wrap is nice, the brie/ham melt baguette is very nice. And, while you can't have Metro without the "meh," I'm not willing to leave you with 2 stars. I still think you could be so much more...

Food is OK--what is not oK is the fact that there is virually no parking! As a result, I was Towed on March 5, 2011 while eating at the restuarant. Seems to be routine, since the restaurant had the Towing Company's number in their speed dial. The result: my $100 meal wound up costing $300. Most interesting is the fact that while we waited fro a taxi fo an hour, the owner did not hace the courtesy to at least offer us a glass of wine.

went here for a birthday dinner. took advantage of their early bird menu (fantastic deal!-$20 for 3 courses and a glass of wine). We had soups and salads for appetizers, twin filets and salmon for main courses, plus dessert , glass of wine, and bread. The meat was cooked perfectly, melt in your mouth, with a nice side of mashed potatoes and vegetables, great bread, and high quality dessert. The place is open feeling, smart and pleasant inside. all in all a great dinner of quality food, at an excellent price. highly recommended, especially the fantastic early bird special.

We have only been twice, both times dining on early specials, which are great values. Not certain about the prices on the regular menu, actually. In a word, this place is exceptional. The food is remarkable, presentation outstanding, staff extremely friendly and prompt. Nice setting, with some outdoor tables if you wish...but the real story is the food. We have a vacation home in the area...we brought some guests the last time, and they haven't stopped talking about it since. Will be our favorite dinner spot on every visit. Highest recommendation
