I used to go here for lunch on Saturdays. It has such a warm, friendly atmosphere, the kind you'd expect from a small mom-and-pop establishment near the country side. Very charming. When I first visited this place, I only had my debit card on me and this restaurant only accepts cash. Luckily I was with someone, so I hopped on over to the BoFa down the street to get some money. Our waitress said, "Don't worry about it. Just pay us the next time you come back." How cool is that? They didn't even know who I was and they were willing to extend me some credit lol. But I would have felt awkward doing that, so I got some cash anyway. The food is dirt cheap and the service is excellent. You can't go wrong with this place.

Great Lunch today after a quick trip to the Inlet. The place was packed but we still received fast service. Food was great: a blackened dolphin sandwich with HUGE side salad for my sister- a cheeseburger, sans bun, cut in half special request for the husband in a cast (makes eating out quite a challenge) and a yummy chicken quesadilla with black beans and rice for me. The place was CLEAN as could be. The only reason it is not 5 stars as I had to ask for my salsa and sour cream and also for the salad dressing. It was the tail end of what seemed a VERY busy lunch rush so that can happen.... I will definitely go back again - can't wait to try breakfast- there is a shrimp and grits egg special calling my name.
