The Napa burger was DELICIOUS! Shakes are great too.

My husband and I have eaten here at least a dozen times but lately I'm not quite sure why. When C G Burger's first opened, we felt as if we'd found nirvana in a restaurant. It is very casual dining in a place similar to the Friendly's chain (mostly in the north). We generally ordered burgers and fries and early on they were always good and not overly greasy. Lately, there is much more grease and even their fries, which used to be the best around, seem lately to be just ordinary. Prices are reasonable but I think quality is lacking lately.

Great salad bar with lots of organic greens. Gelato shake is awesome too! Burgers are very good, especially for the price!

I had to sign up just to say this: The 9 oz. steak burger is possibly the worst burger I've ever had, including some abominations that I've made myself. It tasted like a huge glob of completely unseasoned dry ground beef that was baked in an oven. Completely horrible. The onion rings were good, and I love the chipotle sauce that comes with them. The salad bar is pretty good for a burger place. I have been to this place several times and have never been impressed with any of their burgers (especially for the price), but this one was "review bad".

Never had a bad meal here. All fresh ingredients is how they are here! They also have a custom soda machine! You can make cherry vanilla coke and any other combination you can imagine! They have over 150 combinations of soda! You can't go wrong with this place!! Amazing food, amazing servise and amazing autmosphe is how to make one of the best burger joints in all of south Florida! And if you enjoy them here but wish their where others closer, just go online and check out some if their many locations in soith Florida! Locations include palm beach gardens, Coral Springs, ft. Lauderdale, Miami, and coral gables! This is the perfect place to meet people too! Hope you enjoy this place as much as me and my family dose!!! Enjoy!

I have niot had kunch or dinner there yet but the "new" breakfast was terrible in every way. Will be back for a burger though at some point and re-review.

Excellent burgers -- YUM. Good meat, hand-shaped. Decent prices -- $5 for the basic burger! I haven't had the Kobe burger, but they grind the steak right there in the kitchen -- you can see them doing it. There's a little salad bar, too. My husband loved the filet mignon sandwich, too. DEElish sweet potato fries. Needs improvement: Music is too loud. Salad bar needs sneeze guard. French fries were cooked badly (brown on outside, underdone on inside). Garlic fries = garlic salt, not fresh garlic. The lamb burger is obviously a frozen patty, and is basically dead and grey. Also, they used canned mushrooms on my Philly burger. Canned vegetables lost them the 5th star. Canned veggies are NOT acceptable in today's restaurant world!! But all in all, a yummy burger experience -- I'm actually craving that meat. Mmmm. Meat.

Burgers are very much overrated. I've heard so many good things about this place so I stopped in. I ordered the double pattie burger. The patties are very thin and not very tasty. I didn't see what all the hype was all about especially since the fries were nothing to rave about either. Their prices are high and food is below average. If you want a good burger go to Five Guys a few miles down the road.

  • Andrew W.

Finally a place where the food has integrity. Great burgers and atmosphere. Price is reasonable. The wait, if you have one, isn't too long and is worth it!

  • Marie R.

I would not give this place even 1 star. I ordered takeout. Steak and cheese sub. it was barely a 6 inch sub with two of the smallest pieces of steak. .50 extra for cheese. It did not come with anything so I ordered fries. the worst soggy fries ever . top it all off with Horrible customer service.

I absolutely love this place. I really can't think of any complaints. I'm on day 5 of my 21 day detox and I came to CG Burgers and left totally satisfied. I had a small salad from the salad bar and here are just a few of the TON of ingredients they offer...arugula, mixed greens, spinach or romaine, peas, chick peas, corn, black beans, soy beans, sprouts, hearts of palm, artichoke, roasted red peppers, sprouts, beets, wheat berry salad, cucumber salad, bruchetta topping, tons of cheeses ( which I didn't touch) , different meats (which I didn't touch either) but either way this is a totally satisfying meal or side dish... I also had a veggie burger on a whole wheat bun with fresh jalapeño and spicy mustard. I already want to go back!! I've eaten here many times in the past and had the usual burger and fries.. But the alternative is surprisingly delicious. The other dishes at my table included the buffalo burger, the South Beach Burger (which is wrapped in lettuce) , a regular carmines burger, and the 2 kids that were there had ribs and the other had chicken tenders. Everyone seemed super happy w their meal and the 5 yr old ate an entire 1/2 rack of ribs... She's one of the pickiest eaters I know so it must have been good!! I can't wait to come back here... Probably will go sometime next week. Oh and they have this super cool new soda machine which is activated by touch screen... They have every soda from Fanta to Cherry Coke to Sprite Zero. Definitely must try if u are going to indulge or even you're on a strict detox diet!!

I feel a better than 'meh' about this place, but I wouldn't recommend it to friends or anything. I went here on March 19th, 2012 at about 8:30 pm. I was excited to eat here because I had heard good things, but was greeted with rudeness from the girl working the register. TONS of attitude right from the get-go. She said "what would you like?" and I said "hi, how are you?"....nothing. I'm not kidding, she just stared at me. This was my first time there, so I was still looking at the menu which is right next to the register. Even though there was barely anyone in there, she clearly wasn't going to wait a second longer for me to look at the menu and decide what to order. Very abrasive. Anyways, they did have a good selection. My food was good. I got bison or ostrich...can't remember which and since they don't have a website to jog my memory (looks like they didn't make the payments or something because it sends you to a domain host site....strange). The wings were very good too, but I had a terrible taste in my mouth after the rudeness of the staff. I'd have to agree with a previous reviewer, go to 5 Guys. You'll save some money and every location I've ever been to has the friendliest employees and is incredibly efficient (but you won't get your wings fix at 5 guys).

This was a great burger place. I would definitely go there again. Thanks to the yelp reviews we found a keeper. The prices were reasonable and I especially loved the Self serve coke machine. It boast over 120 combinations of flavors and it was great.

not a fan at all. Cold, greasy burger. Horrible customer service....the place was downright dirty! I've had this problem with Carmine's before and they've lost my business permanently now.

This restaurant had service issues when it first opened but that has all been ironed out long ago. Let's keep in mind that this is a burger joint. And for a burger joint it is outstanding. The space age soda machine is just plain cool. You can concoct dozens of varieties with the interface screen. I like Classic Coke with lime or vanilla. I'm surprised those machines aren't popping up everywhere. Probably very expensive. But then Carmine isn't cheap. The salad bar is as good as you'll find excluding upscale restaurants. If an item is out on the salad bar they will scurry to replenish it, just ask. Their salad bar is a little pricey but is still an outstanding deal. Loaded with fresh iceberg, romaine, spinach, and arugula. Tonight my burger was delicious, as always. Just be sure to watch how the cashier inputs your order on the screen as they will miss items sometimes. They misunderstand you because of the noise level. Twice I have said "mayo" and they input "tomato". Watch for that. The zucchini fries get cold and soggy very quickly but are outstanding when they come to your table. Eat them right away. The onion rings tonight were as un-greasy as you will EVER find onion rings to be. Their food to table delivery system can be confusing to those unfamiliar with it. I don't really like it but it's so much better than a PA system blaring, "ORDER NUMBER 37!" Regardless, your food comes to your table after you order at the counter. That was their biggest problem early on, but no longer. My only complaint is that sometimes it can be extremely loud there. That's when I head to the outside tables. (The guy suggesting Five Guys over this place should stick with....Five Guys, a cheap fast food joint with extremely fatty beef and extremely greasy fries. But the walls decorated with 4X4 white ceramic tile is a nice touch. Yeah, Five Guys. End rant.) CG Burgers is as good as it gets for a burger joint and in that category it definitely deserves its five stars.

This place is amazing - and that's coming from someone who's lived all over the country, is a native of Portland, OR (known for cuisine), and has been a Yelp Elite in Los Angeles. No idea what is up with the string of harsh reviews - either CG had a bad streak or Jupiter is harboring more than it's fair share of people that are full of hot air (which would not be surprising). The burgers are fantastic - I recommend the Napa or the California. I have yet to try the Kobe or the Bison, but have had my eye on them. The meat is flavorful and tastes fresh ground every time. I'd be willing to bet that the comment about lack of taste from a previous reviewer was due to someone forgetting to properly salt the meat. Certainly not acceptable, but also not a major crime. And WTF was that about canned vegetables? For the record - I've never seen a canned vegetable at CG. Not to mention - they'd have no reason to use them. CG's sister restaurant, Carmine's, is right next door. Canned veg is twice the cost, and I'm sure large amounts of fresh produce are delivered daily to supply both establishments. The comments maligning the salad bar are, in my opinion, totally off base. When I've eaten there and seen someone dismiss the salad bar, 9/10 times it's because they don't actually stop and take a real look at it. It has 3 tiers, but everyone just looks at the big bottom tier with the lettuce, basic veg, and dressing - while missing that the top tiers contain things like blue cheese, feta, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, whole hard-boiled eggs, 3 different kinds of beans, fresh pasta and potato salads, and 10-12 dressing choices (including some interesting homemade ones - i.e. pear gorgonzola, french apple, etc...) And please folks - don't give a crap review to a BURGER joint when you ordered a veggie burger wrapped in lettuce.... As others have mentioned, the sweet potato fries are insane. The cookies and brownies next to the register are also very good - nothing extra special, but solid quality. I also have to let the kid in me peek out for a moment here: They have the coolest space-age soda machine I've ever seen. The little geek in me dances with joy every time I see it. It's a digital touch screen interface that serves up what must be hundreds of drink/flavor combinations. Hubby has to drag me out when we are done eating, because I'm having too much fun playing with the soda machine.

  • Greta B.

This place is just not good. To be honest, I'm surprised they've made it this long, considering the mediocrity of both the food and the service. The burgers at 5 Guys smoke these, and the owner is just plain nasty.

Used to live a couple blocks from CG. Came here often, always had great service, and food. Sometimes, this place can get b-u-s-y... So, be prepared. Delicious food, at a fair price =)

The burgers here are pretty solid but really nothing to write home about. The soda machine offers a creative way to get a beverage.

CG Burgers is part of the well-respected Carmine's (Gourmet Food) group. CG Burgers serves fresh meat. But: The overall quality of the burgers and hot dogs - for a restaurant that "specializes" on burgers - is poor and the ambiance is worse than at McDonalds. I can not recommend this restaurant to adults; perhaps not even for parents with children. P Scholla

This place sucks and was overpriced for what we got. $9 for the kobe beef burger and it was no better than Wendys. If you want a good burger, go to Cheeseburgers and more. Way better and you get an actual waitress.

  • Bob Y.

The burgers seem to be made from high quality meats and fresh ingredients, but the cooking is inconsistent. The last two times I visited, the burgers were just not cooked right. Each time, my medium burger were grilled beyond well done and had the consistency of a hockey puck. The place has great potential, but in my opinion needs better management oversight..

  • David G.

I went with my wife to have dinner here. Lately the turkey burgers have been spot on ..Juicy and so good. The fast service was great. My wife had one as well with the salad bar. She said the salad bar had all the extra stuff that most salad bars lack. The salad bar was well managed as I saw the manager clean up to make sure everybody had a good experience when they went to fill up. I have to mention that in all of Jupiter CG Burgers is the only place that sells "hand cut french fries" and boy are they fried perfectly. We will be making a weekly visit to CG Burger, you should too!

Been twice now & twice had problems with order accuracy. Salad bar was ok, not overwhelmimg with choices, just standard items, everything fresh. Hamburger was good - I like the multitude of choices and options.

Excellent pizza and wings, clean place with delicious food- highly recommend in spite of the not quite rude but truly unfriendly staff.

In my previous three star review one of the weak points was the fact the cashier forgot to place orders for french fries for all four of us. Two of us recently returned and ordered the $7.99 combo touted in their window advertising. At the counter the cashier was sitting nearby with the most bored expression possible, and when told two of the combo's looked around in disbelief as if she never heard of such a thing. Huh? My wife patiently explained what was listed as part of the combo and the cashier seemed to get it, until she requested payment of just under $24.00. She did enlist the help of a young kitchen manager and then confirmed to us she was right and the cost remains $23.+ for (2) $8. combo's. We left. Can their help really be this clueless? Guess I'll never know as I doubt we'll be back.

My experience was bad all around. It's owned by and attached to carmines so I thought the pizza would be safe...wrong. I was in a rush and they neglected to tell me that in order to get a couple slices to go they would need to make a pizza from scratch which would take 15 min..valuable info. Bunch of teens working..Cardboard in the box stuck to my and could not be separated from the very bland tasting and pretty much burnt pizza. Stick to a burger in the burger bar.

CG Burgers is a difficult place to rate without some real qualifying footnotes. As the name implies, the restaurant specializes in hamburgers but offers wings, chicken, hot dogs, and has a very nice salad bar loaded with items. More on the salad bar later. The food at CG Burgers is very good. The basic single or Wagyu Beef are terrific. In my opinion, they are significantly better than say, a Duffy's Draft House for comparison. CG's french fries are also way up at the top of my rating chart, as they are cooked brown and crispy the way that I like them. There are some beers on tap, and there is a really neat Coke machine which dispenses virtually every Coca-cola product with the push of a button. Prices are a little high, but considering the quality of the food, another couple of dollars vs some other burger places, it is a not big deal. CG Burger's offers a $7.00 milkshake which made me laugh as I remembered "Vincent's" (John Travolta) line from Pulp Fiction: "I gotta know what a five dollar shake tastes like." So, food wise going to CG Burger's is a solid choice. The rub with this place begins with attitude. I realize that not every employee is thrilled to be there, while others (I'm sure) really do care. It all begins with the way you are greeted. I noticed that the last time I was there, no smile, and barely an indication that she was ready for me to order. "Mechanical" you might say. When I paid for the food, I was told in a flat tone "Here you go" while handing me change. There was no "Thank you." no, "We'll bring your order right out" comment. That's Sales Courtesy 101. Even for a $10 order, at least act like it matters to you. Before I could tell her that she had given me a dollar too much, she had turned her back to me to speak with another employee. I left the dollar on the counter for her to figure out. It was still lunch time when I visited last. There were three remaining open booths and all of them had mostly consumed food waiting to be bused. I chose the cleanest of the three, and assumed that someone would be around soon to wipe it down. Never happened. Also, the floor around the salad bar looked terrible with lettuce and salad dressing on the floor mat in front. They must have been busy, and I can live with that except that I watched two different employees step over and around the food on the floor without coming back to sweep it up. I do not know where the manager was, but ignoring the spillage is pathetic. If it were possible to split the rating, I would give the restaurant a 4-star rating for food quality, and a single star for cleanliness and indifferent attitude. I would recommend getting food to go over dining in, especially during the busiest times.

Decent burger, terrible fries and pissed off waitress/order taker at the line... I even asked for better fries that were fresh but still dry and over cooked. One and done....

They have wonderful tasty burgers. I had the California burger and my husband had carmine favorite burger. Both were absolutely delicious. The kids burger meal was very resonably priced for the size! Will definitely be returning :)

This is the what McDonalds should be aiming for: best quality of food. Burgers are great and the french fries are fresh fresh fresh: taste like potatoes!!!! Juicy grilled chicken. Fab salad bar. You can eat on a diet here and be very happy. Can't say enough good things about this place. Its the best meal on the fly for the price.

  • Joe I.

If they didn't have a salad bar, they would have nothing to eat. I've given this place 4 tries. All of them disappointing. Inconsistent cooking, non caring service. There are too many good burgers around to waste time here. I won't be back.

I had been here a few years ago, and went back last week. The food is very high quality. A casual burger place but offers organic and vegetarian options. Great salad bar with many options. Many different types of burgers. Great onion rings and fries. What stood out about this visit was that I showed up 20 minutes before closing time on a weeknight and they dd not miss a beat. No grumbling, and the salad bar was still fully stocked and fresh. Food came out fast and the staff was pleasant even though they were probably already starting to clean up. Very tasty food. Don't overlook the salad bar. It sounds expensive at $9 but you can make that a full dinner if you wanted to. Oh yeah, sweet potato fries are good too.

    (4)
  • Jason P.

Great wings and sweet potato fries. Their wings don't need any blue cheese or ranch sauce. The flavoring is amazing

Move over Smashburger, Burger Bar etc, CG's burger rocks the gourmet burger world for a bargain price. You get multiple burger size choices, 1/4 pound beef or 6/8/10 oz steak burger, or lamb or Kobe beef! Lots of free and pay extra toppings to dress your burger, real hand cut fries, fresh made onion rings, chicken wings, gourmet shakes, and an organic salad bar, plus a bar area with beer on tap and flat screen tvs for your entertainment. Can't wait to go back!

I've gone here a few times and it's been very good. They use grassed beef in the burgers and the salad bar is pretty good too.

Quality burgers, nice atmosphere, clean food and restaurant. Menu variety was on point really enjoyed the south beach burger especially since i am carb conscious. Zucchini fries i tried as well and those were on point.

Terrible service. I've been here three times. 2 out of three they get my order wrong. When I tell them they make no effort to apologize. Really don't like this place.

    (1)
  • Shaun Y.

Generally very happy with this place. However I ordered the new cheesesteak sandwich today and they brought out a disaster that I ended sending back. The meat was not done. Raw in places and they cooked in in a microwave! Someone needs to explain to them that the steaks are supposed to grilled not nuked.

  • Andrew A.

Was visiting my brother-in-law and we wanted a quick bite with the family. CG Burgers fit the bill with a pretty good burger and other fare. I had the turkey burger which was good. The fries were very good but the onion rings were a bit too greasy for my taste. The beer was also a bit tepid, which is fine for a Guiness or Boddingtons, but not a Blue Moon. Overall, the experience was fine, but not sure I'd rush back.

    (2)
  • Jim W.

Quality place with aewsome burgers and fresh salads. Flat screens with sports, beer and wine. Only complaint is it's LOUD. Needs better acoustics

    (4)
  • Allie H.

The only reason I am giving this 3 stars is everytime we go it seems like the burgers get smaller and smaller but the price goes higher. The food and burgers are great but you don't get much on your plate for the price. Their wings are really really good in my opinion.

    (3)
  • Michael D.

Burgers may be a little small but the salad bar makes up for for what the burger is lacking. I would definitely return. This place is also kid friendly bc my gf has a 2 yr. old and is a not always as well behaved as we would like

    (3)
  • Russell G.

Really poor to mediocre food, the burgers are just a notch above Wendy's only because they come on a plate and are served by a waitstaff. This was a one-visit disappointment that was way too pricey for the totally meh experience. Keep driving if you get the urge to stop here. You'll be sorry that you took the time to park.

    (2)
  • J G.

They can't seem to get it right. I have visited several times over the last year and not once was I impressed. I always order my burger medium and it always comes dry as dust. The cook seems to enjoy pressing the life out of the burger in an effort to watch the grease fire on the grill. I mentioned this one day to someone who said he was the manager but was ignored. I wiling no longer eat there, they have had Enough time to get it right and have failed. Don't waste your money here. If you want a good burger that is juicy and tasty you must try Chuck Burgers on PGA.

I love the CG single burgers. Big fan with A1 steak sauce on it. Salad bar is pretty good but i can't go there and not have a burger. I have always had a good experience there.

Ordered a regular burger and the zucchini fries. Both were perfectly adequate. I didn't find anything amazing about either. Nice lunch, reasonable price. The soda machine was a complete trip. On the way I noticed the salad bar (as it appears others here have) -- I am guessing that on a return trip to CG I will have to try the salad bar. It really did look amazing. My dining companion's wings also looked pretty darned amazing. The order delivery system is quite advanced with little RFID order number tags. If only the staff actually used them...

  • Carol S.

I read the reviews we thought we'd give it a try. We ordered the vegetarian burger wrapped in lettuce and pizza. It was okay, not the best we've had but we wouldn't go out of the way to experience again. The salad bar I was interested in until I seen it and I wasn't all that impressed. The service was good, fast, and efficient. There was no designated path for the order line which is a turn off weaving in and out of tables. Then a guest brought their little dog which is another turn off for me too. It's meh, okay.

Been here many times before and burgers are always good. However, Tonight we walked in at 8:45 and staff breaking down mats, kitchen and dining room. Asked when they close and they said "10 and were getting a jump start on things".... We ordered and had a coupon and it took 5 minutes for cashier to find manager to input coupon, as other customers waited. As we sat at bar waiting on food we witnessed all barely 20 staff running the place with manager not around. Cook had headphones on cooking our dinner leaning against grill playing on phone while rubbing his head with no gloves in full view of guest via open kitchen concept. Cashier got off shift at 9 and what appeared to be shift leader ordered her food and she changed to street clothes and they shared a meal at a table while he walked back and forth to kitchen. Entire staff actively breaking down restaurant even spray polishing behind grills... Mind you still 45m til close and people still coming in and ordering. As people kept coming in had same reaction as us... "Here after close... We disturbing". Manager finally makes appearance and is more interested joking with staff than guest experience. Shame... Not the brand image that Carmine started out with here and not something he'd be proud of. Hope they get act together... Overall meal was okay... My husband could grill a burger better.

I went to this restaurant for dinner walked in and was already disappointed. Its a sit down restaurant, but you go up and order yourself. So, if you are looking for something quick this may be a great place for you, but if you want to sit down and half a longer meal this is not the ideal environment. I ordered the Philly Cheese Burger and also tried the pizza, onion rings and fries. The burger was extremely greasy and didn't really have strong enough flavors for me, especially considering it had onion, green peppers and cheese on it. I expected way more. The pizza was okay but nothing special. I enjoyed the fries they were very similar to Five Guys. The onion rings were also good. Overall it was an Okay experience, I definitely wouldn't come back for dinner.

  • Dick S.

Have been here several times. Food is ok, not bad. You order at the counter and are assigned a number. At some point you watch for a server running around the place looking for you or your number. There seems to be great confusion going on but it works. The salad bar was great and very reasonably priced. Overall it's a fast food burger place. nothing wrong with that I guess.

  • Sarah g.

My kids beg to eat here for the soda machine...I have top admit, I love it too. :) Diet Coke with Cherry is just ridiculously yummy for some reason. Overall this location is pretty good. Had one instance of a very rare burger we had to send back and then watched 11 other people (who ordered after we sent it back) get served before they even started my burger...we just asked for a refund and left at that point since the whole family had eaten by then and they had just started my burger...that was when it was fairly new though and since the service and food seems to be decent quality. It is very overpriced for what you get, but still feel better about eating here on a school night than say, MCDs or Wendys. If you're up for the drive, Five Guys at Legacy Place is also great for burgers and cheaper. Same price/little more is new burger place in Donald Ross shopping center - their food and cocktails are fantastic - just a bit expensive.

  • The Baja M.

It's about time someone came up with this concept. Puts Five Guys to shame.. The Carmine Empire has figured something out again. One of the best burgers I've had because the top quality beef, along with great garlic fries and sweet potato fries. The salad bar is worth it with much to choose from. CHOCOLATE GELATO MILKSHAKES are unreal. All very reasonably priced. Try it out and tell them Baja sent you!!

    (5)
  • Brian B.

Burgers are out of this world! Would give it 5 * but the fries are sub par at best. Shakes are awesome as they are gelato. Large booths make it great for bringing 6 or even 8 people.

Not a bad burger(is there such a thing) I had a double Kobe @ $10, i thought that sounded like a great deal, however the patties are smaller than a McDonalds small burger. The in the noise in the place is a bit much. I left hungry and glad to escape the noise. I wish them luck and hope they can work things out. P.S. the fries were the worst ever!

Great burgers!!! The sweet potato fries were simply amazing. Gourmet Five Guys concept. I went at a not crowded time but if it was hopping then you would not be able to hear the person you are with.
