Tried this place when it first open. It was awesome. Screw ice cream, its calories, fat, and price. Mochi gives out fast, fat-free, fro-yo (frozen yogurt) for 45 cents an ounce! The people there are friendly and the place seems generally clean. They have all kinds of flavors like lychee, pineapple, mango, blueberry, taro, etc. Plus, they let you put as many toppings as you wanted! Kit-Kat bars, fruits, sprinkles, candy, etc. When I first saw this place, we went everyday for a week straight. It became a drug (I could quit when I want to), but if you had like 2 bucks, you were gonna go. For the price and unlimited toppings with fat-free fro-yo, this place was awesome. One thing though. While most people consider the baby colorful place "cute" and stuff....I kinda find it creepy. (Probably just me).

Love the Taro flavor w/ blackberries. Cookie N Cream flavor w/ oreo crumbles, hot fudge, brownie bites and caramel. Looooooong lines and NO parking. But that's expected if you're eating in that plaza. We really enjoy it here. Staff is always smiling and greeting you as you walk in. Although 1 of the girls voices is unbelievably annoying. Like she's faking it. I really can't stand people like that. It's like be you and shut up! Just hearing her ask me "Do you need your receipt? Do you want a sample cup? Your total is..." I just wanna lean in and say " Look sweetie the Jig is up. Give it a break will ya?" I might sound like a witch saying that but I keep it real. And when ya'll go and she's your cashier, I BET you'll think of this review! POW

Pedro P and I used to hit up TCBY on a regular basis. We went to TCBY recently and saw they switched to self-serve -- we were disappointed, turned around and found the greatness of Mochi. Mochi is also self-serve but sooooo much better. Like 300000 times better. The decor is super hip and modern, and the place is ALWAYS packed. My favorite flavor is taro -- just the right amount of tartness. I also like how you are in control of everything -- the amount of frozen yogurt, fresh fruit toppings, and other goodies. My favorite part -- and the part that I crave every day -- is the MOCHI!!!! I just love the somewhat gummy texture and flavor. If you've never been, check it out -- free samples of almost everything!

Mochi offers eight flavors at any given time, which have included original, green tea, vanilla, coconut, coco-nilla, strawberry, taro, mango, raspberry, honeydew, and pomegranate. Fruit toppings include blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, mango, kiwi, pineapple, etc. Sweet toppings include mochi, Reese's pieces, Rice Krispies treats, Kit Kats, M&Ms, sprinkles, nuts, chocolate chips, etc. The fruit is almost always fresh and the best part about this place is that it's self-serve. You pay by the ounce and it's 45 cents per ounce. Sample cups are available upon request. The staff is nice and friendly and the store itself is new, clean, and trendy looking. Easily my favorite frozen yogurt establishment.

Sill in love with mochi. My friends have pretty much all converted to a cult I've named "mochi love". We have our own sign and everything. I am still loving these new flavors they come out with. Papaya - I personally can't stand papaya. But if it's your thing, I hear it's good. Coconilla- great with nuts in it, slightly coconutty but mostly vanillaish Blue Raspberry - sugary, if you're into really sweet Strawberry - also sweet, and tangy, great with fresh mango on top Pineapple - love it, tastes like a real pineapple, not artificial tasting. Mochi really needs more seating, especially outside. Good luck if you go on a weekend night, as a quarter of UF seems to get their froyo fix here. Sorority girls and asians love to hang out here. They've even set up a screen with anime playing for the azns. Expect to run into a friend or two if you come at night, its kinda everyone's favorite little joint now.

Great place for some froyo. Lots of flavors and they're all good. Best thing about this place compared to other frozen yogurt places like menchis and whatever is that mochis yogurt doesnt have that slight sour taste that the other places usually have. Otherwise it's the typical froyo place with lots of flavors and toppings that you pay for by the ounce.

Southern California is full of self-serve yogurt places, so when I found Mochi I was fully content with my move to Gainesville. I love self-serve yogurt places and I love Mochi's "original" flavor--the base for the rest of their yogurt. The toppings are all awesome... I can be as healthy or as unhealthy as I want to be. Their set-up kinda sucks, but I've seen worse. It's just awkward to have a line through the middle of their store and out the door. Also, the parking lot is always full, so you have to circle around a few times to get a spot. I love frozen yogurt and I love that they have a stamp (frequent buyer) card. Definite fan of Mochi!

This place is absolutely amazing! There are tons of different flavors of frozen yogurt - pinneapple, mango, cocovanilla, tara, and so much more...then you top it off with whatever you want - fresh fruit like kiwi, mangos, pineapples, or you can add the usual ice cream toppings like candy, sprinkles, or granola. Take as much as you want or as little as you want - they charge you per ounce (AND it's really not that bad of a price). I fell in love today, and plan on going back again tomorrow. Delicious, light, and refreshing. Love, love, love.

I love this Mochi. I became addicted to Pinkberry last summer on a visit and thought I'd never find anything close. Gainesville has it with Mochi. I love the honeydew yogurt with actual watermelon on top. The taro is pretty good also. I have been there many times and every time I've been happy with not only the frozen yogurt but the service. The staff there is always happy to see you.

This place was delicious, it was fun to make your own yogurt cup. My friend* and I were already thinking about what flavors and toppings to get the next time, and we hadn't even finished our first cup.

I'm from Atlanta but I'm so tempted to drive down to Gainesville just for some more of this stuff! It stands out to me from other yogurt places because it's self-serve, and their toppings were ridiculously fresh and plentiful. I really liked all the Asian flavors they had, not to mention the variety. My boyfriend's 10 year old sister definitely heaped on the flavors and toppings, but I loved that I could portion size my cup to fit my stomach, since usually yogurt places give you way too much of the yogurt and then overcharge you (and then sometimes skimp on the toppings!) I definitely dream about this place and am waiting for another opportunity to truck it 4.5 hours for some Mochi yogurt!

I got the Pecan and cake batter. It was really good. I REALLY wish they had Cookies n Creame...or a red velvet flavor. Price was decent. Better than Red Mango from what I remember. I'd definitely go back. I also got a chance to sample the Strawberry Kiwi and the berry flavors and they did not disappoint.

After eating a littel spicy Pad Thai next door at Bento, I decided to cool my palate with some frozen yogurt. I was not aware that it was self serve which made it all better. Since it was my first time, they let me try samples before i decided. All were very yummy! I decided to go with the watermelon flavor which was very refreshing and not too sweet. I topped it with blueberries, kiwi and blackberries (yes healthy dessert for once!). It was heaven in a dish. The fruit got a little hard due to the cold ice cream but once thawed in my mouth, it was good to go!

Tasty! It's like your regular self-serve frozen yogurt place . . . but then with an Asian fusion twist . . . loving the special flavors like Taro . . . wow it was good . . . topped it off with some Lychee jelly . . . yummmm . . . i'd eat this over yogurt tap any day . . . fits my taste! and again, i saw this other customer squeeze 4 different flavors into her cup and smother them with a myriad of toppings . . . do yourself a favor . . . just keep it simple and enjoy it as it is . . . then just do it again with that other flavor you wanna try . . . it's much better that way . . . you can distinguish what you're actually eating then :)

  • Dena P.

I love all the flavors! The yogurt is fresh and tarty which is wonderful to me! The place is clean and the employees are really nice. They have many flavor yogurt to pick from, self serve and priced by weight. The toppings are always fresh and there's many to pick from. I love the taro and mango froyo and in love with the green tea mochi! Located in a plaza with lots of other places to eat at. A place that I would come back no doubt!

  • A. L.

I love the taro flavor it is some what of a stern flavor with a little sweetness that comes on later. The problem is with this place is you need to keep in mind weight is key so don't look at all the yummy stuff and pack your bowl super high or you will be super sorry at the register! Most of the flavors are very good. One of my personal favorites is the red velvet !

Visit Date: 04.10.2010 Mochi is a good place to get frozen yogurt that comes in a variety of different flavors, though I have noticed that their yogurt isn't as creamy or frigid as those at other yogurt chains, thus their yogurt has a tendency to melt rather quickly. Also the place usually only has one cashier, despite a never-ending long line of people buying frozen yogurt. As for pricing, it is 45¢ per ounce, which is not bad, but Yogaberry recently slashed their prices to 39¢ per ounce. To me frozen yogurt from chain to chain generally tastes more or less the same, though Mochi has the best variety.

    (4)
  • Paul H.

Oh my... I had low expectations for this place but wow, their Mango yogurt with lychee jelly and mango slices placed my taste buds in heaven. At 45 cents an ounce, this is very competitive. Just be careful when choosing their large cup because you will be tempted to fill it up. My cup came out to over 12 oz (~$5.80). I would highly recommend this to all who have a sweet tooth.

  • Laura B.

Best frozen yogurt I have had in a long time. Dulce de leche flavor is delish and great when topped with caramel, hot fudge, and capt n crunch. Had Mochi again last night - this time I had watermelon and honeydew yogurt flavors in my bowl topped with strawberry juice pearls, kiwi, blueberries, and a little of the green mochi. Outstanding and perfectly refreshing for a hot summer day. Lychee jelly on frozen yogurt is genius!

    (5)
  • Mohammed M.

The frozen yogurt itself is not bad and the atmosphere makes it a great chill spot, but the selection of flavors and toppings is extremely limited. You can do better if you're looking for variety.

    (3)
  • Nino R.

Oh Gainesville, if you only knew what a real frozen yogurt place is supposed to look like, then you wouldn't be so enamored with this pretender. First off, $.50 an ounce is ridiculous. I'm used to paying $.30 - $.39 for an ounce. Secondly, the flavors here are very limited. Ever try Salted Caramel, Reese's Peanut Butter, Cookie's and Cream, or even Godiva Chocolate Swirl? Lastly, the toppings here are a joke. Where's the Captain Crunch, Cocoa Pebbles, Cookie Crisp, Vanilla Wafers, Waffle Cones, Reese's Pieces/Peanut Butter Cups, or Soft Chocolate Chip Cookie Bits???? Demand better...

We went in here quickly before they closed at midnight and got some frozen yogurt to go. It was a nice place and seemed pretty clean, but it was really nothing special. We go to self-serve frozen yogurt places on a semi-regular basis and Mochi is pretty much like every other place we've been to. My wife and I both got the Original tart flavor and loaded up on toppings (fruit for my wife and fruit and Oreos for me). Now that we know this place is here, we would go back if we are in the area looking for dessert again.

Love this place. Always have fresh and good ingredients, and a variety of toppings to choose from. I've been here more than 20 times and both me and my girlfriend love to come here. The place is always clean and the staff is always friendly.

Unless you don't like frozen yogurt, there's really nothing not to like about Mochi. The toppings are always fresh, and even though I only ever get the original flavor, the others look interesting. What exactly does Taro taste like? The employees have always been friendly, and even when it's packed (and it usually is in the evening), I've never had to wait in line long. Yum!

I love Mochi from when I first laid eyes on the place. I love it because it reminds me of yogurt I had when I was younger. When I got older, I went to NYC and visited PinkBerry and was hoping there would be a place like this down South. I think Mochi is better than PinkBerry. Mochi has a lot of flavors you can try, ranging from tarot, orginal, raspberry, strawberry, mango, blueberry, lychee, etc. They have sample cups for you to try. It's all self-served. Then you can add any fruits you want on it or "mochi", a gummy fruity thingy. The cost depends on how much the yogurt weighs. The service is awesome bc it's all self-served. The workers are nice and always smiling. The place is relatively new and well-kept. Although it's a little small, tt's a fun place to hang out with friends. They also have outdoor seating. It's in a shopping center, so parking is fine

This is where I fell in love with froyo. The toppings are abundant, but the actual yogurt flavors are FAR superior to the other chains! The honeydew melon was by far the best. I usually go with fruity and none of theirs disappointed.

I am pleased to introduce you to Mochi Frozen Yogurt, because it will become your new crack rock. For anyone that is a fan of sour frozen yogurt, bubble milk teas, chewy rice cakes/mochi, or fresh fruit then this is the place for you. Located right next to Bento on Archer Road, this is the newest, hottest, sexiest frozen yogurt that you will ever taste. No joke! The set-up is that you walk into the futuristic kawaii shop and receive a free sample cup to taste all of the self serve flavors. Then, you make your decision and yes, serve yourself. There are many delicious and Asian inspired flavors. The flavors I recommend are: Original- the basic sour frozen yogurt, recommended with blueberries, almonds, and granola. Or any type of fruit really. Green Tea- recommended with green tea mochi on top. Coconut- recommended with mango topping. Taro- the most popular flavor, recommended with sweet or red mochi. Honeydew- tastes just like honeydew milk tea, awesome! Lychee- sometimes lychee flavored foods are too sweet, but this delicious lychee sour yogurt is just perfect. Recommended with lychee jellies on top. After you serve yourself your favorite flavors, make your way over to the self serve toppings bar for a large variety of fruits, mochi, and dry toppings. Everything is based on weight, so choose as many flavors of yogurt and toppings you want. $0.45 an ounce, most people eat about 8 ounces, and it is all zero fat yogurt! So, an average cup with toppings is about $4-5.00, very affordable for what it is. Also, I wanted to mention that all of the cups and spoons are biodegradable and there is also a frequent buyer card. They are open until midnight every night and in an excellent location, so stop by with your friends for a great healthy snack or dessert. Why five stars? Well, my friends, this is as good as it gets. Even better than Pinkberry, oh snap.

Best frozen yogurt place. Other imitation places don't compare with the fresh toppings and ever changing delicious yogurt flavors. I like being able to taste test the flavors before deciding. Self serve and pay by weight. There prices have stayed consistent and reasonable for years. Great place to hang out and meet up with friends. Their gift cards make for great graduation presents.

  • Kelsey S.

Mochi is good but you must first understand that the price is not per cup but rather per ounce. A friend of mine grabbed the largest cup on his first visit and filled it full of the fro-yo and then stuffed the last little space with the toppings. When he got up there to pay he found out that the price was per ounce not cup and ended up spending about 8.00 dollars on his fro-yo. The flavors are pretty good although some venture out too far for my taste buds. Ask for a couple sample cups so that you can taste the flavors before deciding which you want. They have many different toppings after getting your fro-yo. There is everything from fresh fruit to chocolate pieces to whatever a Mochi is. Love being able to go here and get just a little or a lot depending on what mood I am in. One thing that I do not like is that it can be expensive here if you don't pay attention. Make sure to bring a coupon and get the frequent purchase punch card to save some extra money when possible. The parking here can be dangerous. The lot is narrow and people tend to not pay attention before they back up. This location is open late, not quite late enough that you could go here after you are done going out for the night (Mochi check into this, I would love your fro-yo after I have danced the night away!) but still open later than many places in town.

One of the best frozen yogurt places I've been. They have a lot of constant flavors but also some rotating ones. The best one I've had, rotating flavor that is, was surprisingly the red velvet... so good. That flavor should never be rotated again. They give out sample cups, just ask one of the ladies working behind the counter. The smallest cups/bowls are large so that you will be tempted to get more. Which always gets me, great little trick haha. The frozen yogurt is delicious though, my favorite constant flavor probably being the taro, the coconilla is really good too. This place gets a little crowded a couple hours before closing mostly on Friday and weekends, but go with friends, the wait is never too long. Great place to grab dessert for around $4 or $5. Awesome alternative to ice cream, though don't be fooled by the non-fat, low calorie, etc, there is sugar in this, so don't go on a froyo binge haha. Must go if you are in town!

I went back to Mochi a few days ago..... it was 40 degrees outside ... and this place was packed ... I can't wait until they open two more locations in gainesville. One in midtown and one in Downtown. Anyhow, this time I got the strawberry banana and taro flavor... Added some mochi, walnuts, and almonds. Sprinkle it with coconut and it was sooo good. This time, I was able to control myself by getting 7 oz. :-) I have been craving sweet and this is not too bad for you. So I highly recommended for health purposes ;-) haha it does beat ice cream!

I'm ganna cause some wake on this one I think.. I went into Mochi on Saturday night. Not for myself but to take some friends who were wanting to go, They convinced me that I should try and i agreed. Immediately as I pulled into the parking lot I started regretting my decision. I couldn't find a spot for a little while and was actively fighting to keep from being hit by kids rolling around 8 deep in mustang hatchback. After finding a parking we started on our way.... from the outside it looks alright but then I noticed the groves of people pouring in and out of the front door. I'm never one to complain about a crowd, where some people don't like crowds I'm kind-of the opposite, i enjoy crowds.... don't ask why because i don't know. So i take one step inside and reach the end of the line. There were in the area of 20-25 people ahead of me. Other than the ridiculous line the first thing i noticed was the music , straight from the hollister best of CD and cranked up to maximum overdrive I felt like i just walked into the Derek Zoolander center for frozen Yogurt. It was comical After I don't know how long we reached the self serve pumps, i tried a couple of different flavors and none of them had me excited to buy them. It had the opposite effect. The only one that was close for me was the cocconilla.... but not close enough, so after deciding i would opt out of the frozen Yogurt frenzy I just followed my friends through the rest of the steps, toppings seemed kinda weird all that sticks out in my head was there was kiwi and kit kat bars and a couple of other candies.... To there credit the price is right, 45 cents an ounce gives you some freedom with the toppings. so this is my impression wrapped up..... i think it is a good idea poorly executed self serve style made if feel to me like i was in a gas station pumping my own slushy. It was overly crowded with first year drivers wearing Jonas brother shirts. just poorly executed, but good in theory. bottom line: I almost said I might give this place a second try but I don't think so. I was not impressed and was turned off from the moment I entered the parking Lot. Im obviously the minority in this opinion because everybody else seems to like it, maybe i went on a bad night.... who knows. all i know is i will not return and will do my best to turn my friends elsewhere

Oh Mochi, how do we love thee? Mochi Frozen Yogurt is such blissful happiness in a soft serve cup that it is hard to believe that it's not bad for you. Every flavor is delicious, every topping fresh and tasty, every employee always friendly and ready with a tester cup for the newbies or the regulars to try new flavors. And the decor is space-age meets 60s mod. Unlike the famed Pinkberry out West, you don't need to ask for mochi -- Mochi has three flavors of the yummy gummy bite size rice cakes right there with all of the other toppings. Better yet, they even have frozen mochi balls (mochi wrapped around ice cream goodness) next to the register in their mini fridge. Probably one of the best features of Mochi isn't their fantastic tasting yogurts and huge array of toppings; what makes Mochi stand out is their pricing. They charge by the ounce instead of by the topping like SOME overpriced and lackluster froyo places in town do. At under 50 cents an ounce, you can really pile on the goodness and still keep it on the frugal side. Personal fav: Taro froyo with white chocolate chips, mango, Cap'n Crunch, and white mochi. Heavenly! Mochi, you complete me. Us. We mean us. Not just the girl.

  • Diana S.

Oh mochi how do I love thee?!! This is my fave place to grab a sweet treat that I can personalize to my own liking. Flavors rotate through so there's always some new stuff to try, the Watermelon yogurt they had was sooo good! Too bad they sold out of that quick. I load my cup up, combine 4-5 different toppings and still manage to get out of there for around $5. Great price for what you get. I personally don't prefer to stay there too long, the place is very busy, and I understand why, but there's a very young crowd always hanging around inside and in all the chairs and tables outside (which makes me feel a little old) So I grab my cup to go and enjoy it home, YUM YUM!

My favorite frozen yogurt place EVER! I had Yogi Berry, SweetGreen, you name it, but NONE is like my Mochi! I moved out of Gainesville over 1yr ago and this still the place I miss the most. Try the Taro Root, it's like nothing you had ever taste!

    (5)
  • Morgan L.

I am a mochi addict! It's like a block from my apartment and I can't help but go as often as possible. The fruit flavors are the most popular here in Gainesville, however I've heard the others are awesome as well. I've tasted everything they've had here and my favorites are almond and mango. Yes, together. Pay by the ounce, add crazy toppings, really do whatever you want. Plus, at approximately 110 calories per 4 oz serving, it can't be beat!

  • James B.

Mochi Frozen Yogurt is the 2nd of many more establishments of frozen yogurt coming to Gainesville. This isn't your typical TCBY yogurt, this is yogurt that maintains its tartness a la greek yogurt. So what makes mochi standout? It's self-serve! Whereas the other companies you pick your yogurt and toppings, Mochi allows you to combine whatever flavors are avaliable with whatever toppings and you just weigh it for 45 cents an ounce. Be warned that it's easy to pile it ALL up in those huge containers...I think the system is great, and it definitly suits the college town. I think sometimes people get too crowded waiting to get cups, so there should be a second substation to expedite everyone quickly. But more importantly, the frozen yogurt itself! I enjoyed the plain, mango, and blueberry. They had a more tart flavor a la Pinkberry that I really enjoy. Lychee, strawberry, pina coloda were too sweet, taro was awkward, and honeydew tasted fake. They have plenty of sample cups to go around to help you decide on a flavor. So why the 3 stars? Well, other establishments were certified "Frozen Yogurts with Live and Active cultures" in which they DO add the fermentation step and the bacteria remain dormant while frozen only to be activated in the stomach. Maybe I missed a sign, but to be among the best they'll have to seek that approval. There was something I missed in the flavor profile of the yogurt, too. It was missing that tang that is left in your mouth as the yogurt melts away. I think the texture is slightly too creamy, it melts too quickly, but this may be because the machines are working OVERTIME. The fruits were okay, some of them are not as fresh as I'd like. If you see copious amounts of juice on the bottom, it's likely they are frozen (I bit into a partially frozen raspberry and blackberry....irk!). The mochi they have are too paper thin and aren't that nice gummy slightly sweetened glutinous rice paste that I've had at other froyo places and Japan. My Korean friend commented that it's like eating pebbles. Seating is difficult to find at rush times, but that's a good sign :p. Anyways, It's a great concept, decent yogurt, affordable, and it's really funny to be able to see people behind the counter find the most inefficient way to cut a kiwi :). 3.5 stars.

  • Il P.

I was impressed by the taste and the system. I had 8 oz including blackberry and mochi pieces. I liked the frozen yogurt, but the mochi pieces were too fake, as expected. They have various fresh fruit pieces including mango. I'd definitely visit here again. The table on the window side has a lip, so try not to put your precious frozen yogurt near the edge. :P

I abolsutely LOVE this place. First, the positives: it's clean, there are many different flavors to choose from, the flavors aren't too sweet, and the employees are constantly cutting fresh fruit (lots of places I've been to have the fruit just sitting out for a lot longer than it should be). Now the things I think this place could improve on: 1) The lines are long and there is often only one cashier. This makes the line that is often out the door go really slowly and it's really inefficient. Two cashiers should be working when the line is long. 2) This is just a personal preference, but I love green tea and of all the times I've been there, I haven't seen it offered once. Original and green tea are the two standard flavors, and I'm slightly disappointed that I haven't had it here. I asked one of the employees if they offered it and she said they did, but I guess it's not often. They need to make it an every day flavor! It still deserves four stars because it's awesome, but those are two things I think could improve.

Oh my god East Asia has invaded Gainesville. Stepping into Mochi is kind of like stepping into some futuristic anime fun house where all the plastic decor is a shade of pink and all they play on t.v. is cute Japanese school girls doing things. I once commented that no guys would be caught dead coming here with their guy friends, but after seeing the huge line outside the Midtown Mochi, I have to eat my words. Yes, it really is that good. The beauty of this place is self service. Apparently Yoga Berry has the same quality of frozen yogurt, but nothing beats a buffet table of every topping you can name. They also give sample cups and their flavor of yogurt is to die for. I'm a fan of the non-tart flavors. The flavors change out every Thursday or Saturday too, and they have about 8 flavors at any given time. They usually always have Taro, Original, and some form of Strawberry. Oh, and did I mention it's inexpensive? As in only $.16 an ounce. You can create a massive dessert for only $5, although I will seriously side-eye you if you can finish. My only complaint is that they always run out of Cheesecake flavor, but that's why I've got them friended on Facebook. I go to the Downtown one most often, as it's the closet to me and also the least crowded. The Archer one has more seating but has less topping selection, and the Midtown one is perpetually crowded.

Simply breathtaking. When the Asian woman smiled and handed me a sample cup, my imagination flew wildly with frozen yogurt possibilities. Choose your flavor and pump it yourself. So hot. Then, head to the toppings bar for fruit, candy or whatever else. Weigh your cup and enjoy. What a lovely experience. Highly recommended. Very well priced.

Although not the original frozen yogurt place in the US, this was the first frozen yogurt place to open in Gainesville. I love that they give you free sample cups to try any and all flavors if you would like before you purchase. They have the yogurt machines out in the open so you control how much and which flavors you want. It's great that you can control how much you want and only pay for what you have in your cup! (This also includes toppings too!) I love their taro and lychee flavors. They have some standard flavors and the other flavors are constantly changing - so you may be disappointed if they are out of something. I love the decor. It is very trendy looking. The staff is very nice. It is nice and clean and always has many topping options!

Honestly not a huge fan of the product, but they treat you right. They also have gluten-free options. The attraction here is toppings, but get too much...expensive

i was just recently introduced to Mochi and the whole concept of "froyo" and i do have to say, i'm really enjoying it. Tonight was probably the best experience out of my 3 times there. They had Pineapple flavor which was absolutely AMAZING. so delicious. i honestly just can't get enough of this place. i like the fact that you serve yourself and you can put as much of any topping you want. it makes the experience that much better. it can become a little pricey but you just have to make sure you don't eat with your eyes. :]

Yum, can't wait to go back. Great alternative to the everyday yogurt shop. But those ounces add up quick!

I love Mochi Frozen Yogurt sooo much! I think it is so cute that it is self-serve and they have healthy yogurt, but you can't tell it is healthy because it tastes wonderful! The blue raspberry flavor is delicious along with: lovers (mango&strawberry), coconilla, strawberry banana, watermelon, kiwi, and I cannot remember if it is pumpkin or gingerbread flavored but it is delicious. The topping bar is great too; the green tea and strawberry actual mochi is really good too. Let me just explain that mochi is a sweet but really soft gummy candy. They also have nerds, pound cake, whipped cream, hot fudge, lychee, grapes, watermelon balls, butterfingers, gummy worms, sprinkles, and cookie dough. The syrups like raspberry, caramel, and white chocolate are really good too. For $.45 an ounce it is worth it. You also get a punch card and after 9 mochis over 5 ounces you get the 10th mochi free. The ladies working the topping bar and cash register are very energetic and cute.

Wow! This is the best frozen yogurt ever! I've tried plenty of places in cali but I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavors, especially taro :) and toppings! Five stars kind of place :) the outdoor seating is a plus and kudos for fun and trendy interior decor/ lighting.

Very yummy stuff and you have the option of going junkfood or healthy with the variety of toppings (strawberries are best!). The decor is really fun and unique and even when packed you're in and out fairly quickly because it's self-serve. Def recommend!

i HATE how they don't keep the same flavors around. they change them constantly. i understand changing some but i think certain flavors should be a staple, like chocolate. when they do have good flavors they have great yogurt, but the fact that i can't count on getting something i want makes me steer clear of this place. and you can't pay with a card unless you buy more than $3 worth of yogurt. they weigh it and charge you by the ounce. so the choices are either to load up or have cash on you

Of all the frozen yogurt places popping up recently, I think Mochi is my favorite. I like their selection of flavors the best. I like the fruity ones, especially coconilla and taro. Some places have too many heavy ice cream-esque flavors, like chocolate and red velvet cake... I like my froyo light and fruity, and Mochi delivers. I also really enjoy the actual mochi topping. A lot of places don't offer it, and I'm a huge fan. This shopping center is a nightmare for parking and the store can get really crowded, so go at off-peak times if you can. Also, if you say "i love Mochi" when you pay, it's a dollar off :)

I love Mochi. The people are always nice and the frozen yogurt is consistent. Also, the toppings are always fresh. This place is great :)

I don't like to give anyone 5 stars because I feel there's always room for improvement, but this place has done it right. Although there is always a line, their efficient system, and free sample cups make the wait unnoticeable. My favorite flavor is tarro, but always enjoy tasting whatever new flavors they have each week. Overall I recommend for anyone looking for a sweet treat, but be forewarned this frozen yogurt is highly addictive and there is a good chance you could find yourself visiting every day.
