Personally I really like Boston Market. Their chicken is always tender, and their sides are always tasty. I'd rather go here and spend $6 for a combo meal instead of $6 at McDonalds. Much healthier and more variety.

Definitely a no. I was honestly excited to try this place because I heard people went here many times before. Well!!! It must have been from other vicinities. The service I got for my meal was completely rude. How I was asked was through an displeased mumble "Whatchu want...?" I said the pulled BBQ chicken sandwich. He then gave a huge sigh and mumble another question. I couldn't understand so I said "I'm sorry?" He mumbled the question again. And again I really couldn't hear him in this slow and quiet restaurant.... He got a little angry and mumble a little more clearly with attitude "white or wheat?" I said "wheat please." When I got my simple sandwich ten minutes later I found the bread was dry and hard as a rock, the chicken tasteless, the man who made my sandwich seemed to forgot I ordered BBQ so the last minute he poured it all on the outside of my sandwich, and a bonus--I found a very noticeable bone in my sandwich. No joke it was about an inch and half long. If I really wanted to waste my money I should have burned right then and there in front of the store instead of ordering that god forsaken sandwich from this hellhole of a place. And then the employees started cleaning and closing the restaurant well over an hour before closing time. I'm giving this a two star because my friend whom I was with at the time said he had a "decent" meal. And so people would actually read this review. This is a warning do not got to BOSTON MARKET.

I love this Boston Market. It's clean and the staff is exceptionally nice. They all seem to be happy to be ere. Manager always comes over.

It's predictable... Consistent... Not necessarily the best food I've ever had, but it's good. My favorite item is the chicken pot pie... It's only 5 bucks! They have this new side item which is delicious: loaded mashed potatoes, and the double chocolate brownies are addictive!! On the down side, they no longer brew fresh iced tea... They just have the gold peak tea that coke makes which is gross to me! How can you have southern food with out fresh brewed sweet tea!!!!!

Well , of course this stuff is awesome... have you ever looked at the calorie counts or the fat content in any of it? The meats are good - but the sides are spectacular. Mac & Cheese? Freaking AMAZING. Mashed potatoes with gravy. Mmmm. Momalicious. Cinnamon apples? Oh yes, please. Buttery corn... oh yeah. American classics, done right. This is why we are all so danged fat.

Just passing through. Was so excited because where I live north of jacksonville ... We have no boston market. :( So.... I ordered my usual 3 piece dark with two sides and can't resist Mac and cheese. I was looking forward for mash potato and gravy .... But the gravy wasn't the same as what I used to have a year ago.... It was light brown ... It has no taste ... Blah.....xp .... Mac and cheese + cream spinach was awesome as usual. I tasted my son's meatloaf ...it has no taste either... Is it suppose to taste like that ?:/ There weren't a lot if choices in drinks. So I tried something different. Green tea semi sweet .... The weirdest tea with fragrance .... After 3 hours I still have a full cup. Would not throw it away for some reason... Still sipping on it at home. Meaning its not bad...to the point where I wanna throw it away, and its not the greatest that's why its still left in the cub.

Overall there's nothing spectacular about this place but it's not terrible either. They're pretty quick and the prices are good for what they offer. However the food is often hit or miss, they have no consistency.

I love Boston Market for two reasons: their Macaroni & Cheese and cornbread. The location is convenient as its in front of the mall, and the staff is pretty nice. The food is a hit and miss for me, especially the Macaroni & Cheese. I ordered the Half Chicken with mashed potatoes and macaroni & cheese as the sides, complete with raspberry lemonade. I love Boston Market for their cornbread and Mac, but the last visit I expected more from these dishes. My chicken is not too dry, but I think it could've been cooked a little more. I wouldn't come here often, but it is worth walking across the parking lot when I don't feel like moving my car.

This is my second time visiting this location. My first experience here was not that impressive. The first time I came here we had problems with our food being cold, having it sent to be remade and coming back cold again. Very strange in my opinion. The food was just ok. The chicken breast I ordered were on the dry side and nothing to write home about. I do still love the mac n cheese though. Its very cheesy and creamy. I used to eat at Boston market frequently when I lived in Miami about 8 years ago and I remember the food being a lot better back then. Maybe it was just this location or maybe Boston Market has just gone downhill in quality. With this being the only location somewhat near Jax I will have to wait until I find one out of town to compare the quality.

The food was okay and the staff was friendly. I am not certain it is enough to make me go back though. I had some rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, squash casserole/dressing type stuff, and cornbread. The chicken was tender and tasty but the sides were similar to what I would expect at a fast food restaurant that serves home style sides. Cornbread was nothing special. But to each his own I guess. There is not a lot in the way of drink types offered. Personally I don't drink anything with sugar in it and I don't do well with caffeine, so I was limited to unsweetened black tea, diet lemonade, and coke zero. Obviously the caffeine issue broke a deal with 2 of the 3 I mentioned. Water please? Overall I guess it is a better value if you get the food to go, but after buying the food and drinks, I felt we spent too much for what we got.

As I sit here waiting for the salmonella to kick in, I figured I'd share my thoughts on my past few experiences at the Gainesville Boston Market. Spoiler alert - they haven't been good experiences. Until today, I have pretty regularly eaten at this location...at least once a month. It's near my house, and when we need a quick drive-through meal, it used to seem like a nicer option than other fast food places. I can now admit that this line of reasoning was flawed; in retrospect, McDonald's would pretty much be like driving-through at Morton's compared to this particular Boston Market. My trips to Boston Market have always been filled with surprises. You never know quite what to expect. Will my meal be cold, prepared with no regard for even basic food service quality? Will I receive something not even close to what I actually ordered? Will the staff be brooding, sullen, rude, and uninterested? Will I wait too long and pay too much for a sandwich that has been sitting around on a dirty counter top since the Carter administration? Roll the dice, because at Boston Market you never know what to expect. Like Pearl Harbor...a big surprise, but not a good one. In the history of American travesties of justice, the fact that this restaurant is in business is right up there with Dred Scott and the Casey Anthony acquittal. Worse still is the fact that I just walked in there with my eyes wide open and paid $19 for two Rat Terrier Carver Sandwich Combos. At the end of the day it's my fault for continuing to expect Boston Market to care. The blame lies squarely on my shoulders for assuming that the managers or employees care about customer service. Or product quality. Or cleanliness. Or value. Perhaps that's the saddest part of my Boston Market saga...it really isn't them, it's me. I don't know how I came down with this battered-customer syndrome, but I do know that it ends today!

I have traveled the country, and quit going to the Boston Markets long ago, because none even came close to the quality of this one. This location was one of the few to survive when most BM's were closed in the 90s. That tells you something right there. But as I left my friend's hospital room on Sunday, passed through the wrenching smell of NFRMC's cafeteria (the placed looked clean enough, but man Shands' cafeteria rocks compared to NFMC's) I wondered if the cafeteria is the reason this Boston Market is still open! Seriously though, never had a bad meal here. I didn't care for a meat loaf sandwich that someone had raved to me about, but otherwise, it is all good. This place had me already, and with a selection of hot sauces now for customers to choose from, I'll be back (but hopefully not due to a hospital visit).

My wife loves Boston Market and it is starting to grow on me. The great thing for us is the amount of great gluten-free options they have. They do not have a GF menu per say but they do have a list behind the counter that lists what has wheat/gluten in it. As the husband I still get to enjoy the cornbread and Delicious gravy, so I am good to go.

This place is really good but lately has been starting to get a bit messy. The food is consistenltly fresh but someimtes when I go, I get warm, dry chicken. Overall, the food is good and it is healthier than a burger and fries. I wish they would bring back the squash casserole though.... it was so good. You gotta always have the fresh mashed potatoes and gravy. The sweet potato casserole is good as well. Try it out, you should like it.
