Found plastic tag holder in pancake. Pancakes were burnt. Portions were too small for the price. Play area is outdated and not maintained well (not swept etc). Service was adequate. On the positive, beverages were great and overall taste was decent. Overall experience was below average.

The most amazing chai I've ever had. They make it themselves and it's so good. The gluten free options are endless. The cookies were really good too. You can't go wrong. Just make sure you don't forget your wallet. You could easily spend 20 dollars for one meal.

I ate here on May 9 with my fiancé and her 25 year old daughter. I ordered a cherry biscotti and raisin scone, both of which were excellent. In fact, the scone was the best that I've had since I lived in Denmark nearly 20 years ago. This was the first place in the USA (including many restaurants and bakeries Boston, NYC, San Francisco, and lots of smaller cities) that made scones that are just a little less crumbly than flour biscuits. In my experience in the USA, the scones have been mainly the same as donuts or cakes, with a few on the other extreme of hard crumbly cookies. These have been very different and much inferior to European scones, which are much lighter, not as dry or crumbly as biscuits but not sweet and heavy like cake. Sweet Peas Cafe has made scones like those I remember from Europe and for that alone, they are worth a visit. The selection of teas is wonderful and my first few, including a delicious peppermint, have been full bodied without being overwhelming. However, I like strong tea, e.g., Irish Breakfast tea in the morning, so it is hard to overwhelm me. There is a big assortment so I am sure there are many lighter teas also. My fiancé and her daughter ordered omelettes and found these to be delicious. Each appeared to have 3 eggs, were stuffed with fresh vegetables and cheese, and were just the right size for breakfast. If you want to try the highest quality fresh food instead of the usual fare of massive amounts of poor quality food (e.g., grand slam breakfasts, etc), Sweet Peas Cafe is the place to go.

Wanted to love it, based on the menu, it's a health foodies dream. But the portions are ridiculously small. Maybe they should stick to breakfast since most people are ok with a light breakfast. I ordered the chicken salad on kale and I thought it was a joke. I'm not a big girl, nor do I eat big portions as I have a wedding coming up and want to look my best, but I was starving after I was done with my two spoonfuls of "chicken salad". Step it up guys, I'm not the only one that pointed the small portions out.

There's not a better tasting menu nor a more more family friendly restaurant in the Tampa Bay area!!!!! There are lots of yummy, organic, healthy foods for my kids to eat and lots of room for them to play while their tired parents eat yummy, delicious, healthy food as well!! All this, and we get to relax! Who gets to relax at a restaurant when your kids along??!!!

Great sandwiches. Fresh, tasty, organic ingredients. Friendly staff. Not at all pretentious, despite the all-organic menu :) Baked goods and coffee were fantastic. Yay!

Fun place, great atmosphere and very friendly staff, BUT if your intention is to leave feeling satisfied, you should eat before you arrive. Seriously, the portions were surprisingly small, especially given the prices they charge. What I had was delicious, so i'm very sad to report I will not be back. I just cannot justify the lack of exchange, it was that ridiculous.

Why don't more eateries have a place to entertain kids? For that alone, I will be back! Our server was courteous and attentive. The portions are on the small side, but the prices are excellent given the quality of the ingredients. Two thumbs up!

Such a wonderful place to chill with your kiddos! Visited on Saturday morning with a friend, and both of our kids were so happy to just be able to play and roam around. It's fenced in so my little adventurer can roam free without me worrying. The coffee is fantastic - they had almond milk which always earns brownie points in my book. There was some cute live music playing too which was cool. Just a lovely place and I highly recommend to anyone with kids!

Since my initial review, I have tasted the most satisfying Carrot Scone (The baked goods are silly good!) and Red Raspberry Chai! (hot or on ice). I can't wait to try more of the yummalicious menu!

Love this place! Whenever I go out to the Clearwater/Dunedin area I try to stop into Sweet Peas. It's right in downtown Duniedin, a great place to spend the afternoon if you've never been. The food is wonderful, prices are very fair, and the staff is a hoot. They have a nice big yard, so it's a cool place to sit outside and chill. Good Stuff. :-)

If you have kids and are looking for a great lunch place that serves breakfast all day check out Sweet Peas. There are plenty of activities for kids to do outside and inside so that adults can eat in peace. Lots of great organic and vegetarian offerings too. Their sandwiches, salads, and breakfasts are all really tasty. Our three year old daughter likes playing on the little boat outside or in the sandbox and they have a sink located outside so that you and you little ones can wash your hands when the food shows up. Lots of great beer and tea options as well.
