I love pizza and try just about every place I find. This pizza was wonderful! I would have to say it was one of the best pizzas I have ever had (I ordered the pesto). The ingredients are excellent quality and the flavor combinations were on point. The only negative thing I can say is that the crust was a little under done for my taste but I tend to like it very crisp and should have specified this to the server. THe wine selection was nice. The restaurant itself is just gorgeous. It has a very warm, laid-back atmosphere with well thought out shabby chic decor. I was in love with their selection of music as well with lots of jazzy oldies. I came back for my birthday a few weeks later with my whole family including two little ones and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating both times. Although i was stuffed to the brim, I had to have the tiramisu and a cappuccino (tiramisu over bday cake anyday ) and they were heavely. I believe I have found my "spot".

After being seated near the hostess and waiting for a long time, we finally learned that our order fell on the floor and wasn't seen by the chef. Neither the hostess nor the waitress even checked in with us or brought us bread during this long wait. Clearly, food was being served to folks that were seated long after we were. I will admit the salad was good and the house signature pizza was tasty. Not sure where the disconnect was but the staff needs to get their act together.

Very good! BRICK oven! Yummy pizza. Organic: pizza and beers. Fun variations of pizza...we got the fig spread with goat cheese and mozzarella--YUM!! Will definitely go again because all of the pies sounded delectable! On Tuesday's, they offer 20% off to teachers, which is awesome, cus my BF is a teach. Overall: great food, great laid back (Italian-inspired) atmosphere, great service. Totally recommend.

Wow I think I died and went to pizza heaven. With so many delicious choices it was hard to pick just one but we definitely picked right when we did: the pistachio pizza. What an amazing combination of flavors! Every bite was better than the last. Such a light, airy crust, I didn't feel bad about finishing every morsel. Next time we'll get two pizzas to share as we work our way through the mouthwatering menu. Service and ambiance were great too.

We really enjoyed the *favorite* pizza with prosciutto! It's brick oven pizza and appetizers (no "tapas" anymore). Great selection of wines. panyvino.com

I just moved here & this was the first place I went to eat. The pizza was great & the place itself was cute. I will be going back

I can't believe I've never been here before, after all the years I've lived so close by and always wanted to stop in, for some reason I never did. Finally my boyfriend and I decided to check it out last night. We arrived around 6 and it wasn't busy at that time at all, but the ambience inside looked really nice and cozy and the server promptly greeted us so we sat down and took a look at the menu. We decided to share a bottle of wine and asked if we could try 2 samples first before ordering the whole bottle. Our server was informative and happy to help. We chose Borsao, a red Spanish wine with a hint of fruit and it was really delicious. We also got the "Amancheez favorite" pizza, which was seriously out of this world phenomenal. It's topped with fig spread, goat cheese, mozzarella and spinach, a great mix of sweet and rich flavors. I couldn't get enough and will be coming back to get it again. I'd also like to try some of their appetizers next time, especially the trio mix with tapenade and other spreads. Also, by the end of our visit the place had filled up with other people and I could definitely see why it's so popular. Overall, the service was great, the food was outstanding and the wine was a perfect complement to the meal. I will definitely be back again.

Wonderful! Everything. The pizza, the wine, the hospitality and the service. We had a pizza with roasted pistachios and pesto. What a treat. Many different pizzas to choose from.

Pizza is great but very disappointed in the wine. It's served warm! Not even room temp -- I'm talking WARM. We ordered a bottle on one visit and it felt like it had been sitting in somebody's car. For a place with "vino" in the name, we expect our wine to be served at proper temperature.

Was in town for the wine and blues festival with a friend and worked up a hunger, so pizza time. The selections were amazing and we had a hard time choosing one to share , but ended up with a spinach and vegetable pizza. It was fair. It was not fully cooked, so crust was not even firm, let alone crisp and that threw the whole palate profile off. We were hungry and ate most of the pie, but I love my pizza and was disappointed, especially having read the reviews. No wine, as we were at a wine festival, it was time for water. Service was friendly, but slow. I gotta be fair here it was a BIG event night for downtown Dunedin! Place was packed, so of course we had to wait longer than usual. I am sure the kitchen was in the weeds and needed to move their tickets, so I give them a pass for this evening. I will try them again, when I am in the area and hope it is as good as others say. What's a girl to do, when she is a pizza lover? Give 1 free pass and try again, as keep searching for the perfect pie.

Not a good experience last night. It was very busy and I understand that, but the hostess greeted us, very flustered. She said "we're really busy and understaffed", and there would be a 35-45 minute wait and we could could go walk around outside. She specifically pointed out we could not wait inside the restaurant unless we went to the bar, which is tiny, and only room enough for maybe 6 people. Umm...no. Goodbye. I like this place but they were bumped down a few notches in my book. It was also really hot inside so I don't think I would have stayed anyway.

Great pizza, some of the best I have had. Organic ingredients, so I don't feel bad indulging (and the organic beer and wine list sure compliment an indulgent meal.) I have been there many times, and can't wait to try the entire pizza menu and beer list. And my girlfriend approves of the wine selection as well. Service has always been good. Ambiance is a little tacky but in an artsy way and who cares? The food is the selling point. (Did I mention this is the best food within 100 miles of fairly tedious and grueling restaurant options?)

Awesome pizza ever!! We had the Chorizo and Cheddar pizza and their rosemary bread and it was so delicious. I recommended this place if your in the Dunedin area! The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing and the service was great. Our waitress was very nice.

Inside is pretty cool. Service was kinda slow. Pizza was average. Not saying it was bad, because it wasn't. Had better for the price. Employees were nice though!

This place is a sanctuary in the heart of Dunedin. Intimate, not over decorated and designed so you can relax and enjoy your meal. The manager is on the floor chatting with customers or leaving you alone if you are deep in conversation. The wine list is good with enough variety to find what you are looking for. I do think they could add some more interesting labels for those who want to be a little adventurous. The menu is just the right size for me and experience has told me that everything they serve is fresh and delicious. If you like great pizza and excellent salads you'll love this Pan y Vino. Lastly, the prices. I am always satisfied that the total on the bill matched the experience. Reasonably priced, especially for the quality of the food. This is one of very few restaurants I would recommend to visitors without worrying about their experience.

Love this little place! We stopped in on a tour of Dunedin for some late night drinks. I wish we had eaten here and stayed all night! They have some very good wines - most from Spain or South America. The staff was helpful in offering knowledgeable suggestions depending on your tastes. We weren't charged for tastings, and ended up getting 4 glasses between us. The pizzas and desserts coming out from behind the bar looked amazing, as did the salads. The little nuts and bread they gave you were great too. Would definitely recommend stopping in for dinner or just happy hour or drinks!

I would return here for their Caprese only, but not for their pizzas. They can't hold a candle to Wood Fired Pizza Wine Bar. The quality of Pan yVino's ingredients is significantly lower. The cheese is rubbery and cheap and the "prosciutto" is thin sliced ham. No thanks.

Ashley was a great server. Her knowledge of the food and wine was really impressive. The food matched the great service! We will definitely return!

Great brick oven pizza with a nice selection of beer and wine. We come here regularly. However, on the past two visits, we were disappointed by the skimpy toppings. Definitely a change from earlier. Had to order extra toppings (at an additional charge) to make it "just right."

Pan Y Vino has gourmet original brick oven pizzas and tasty salads. Service is great and the pizzas are tasty. The Amancheez Favorite with the prosciutto upgrade is a unique and good choice with goat cheese, spinach, basil and fig spread. The sweet flavor goes great with the cheeses and crust. I didn't have the wine, but they were real informative about the list. They also had a good selection of craft beers but oddly enough none of the locally brewed ones. Pan Y Vino is a great dining experience.

In our quest for a thin crust brick oven pizza we came across this place. It's got a cool store front of old window panes! It was very busy but we were lucky to get seated quickly. The four of us shared a Pizza Margherita---mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil. It was very good with a crisp crust and was just enough so that we each got two slices. It was perfect for a light evening meal. The menu showed a lot of other pizza options that looked good as well as a nice salad menu. Service was prompt and attentive. I would definitely come back to this little place!

Cool place, great ambiance. The pizzas are different and well done. The sangria and wine selection are good as well. Don't waste your money on the olive appetizer though, you will be disappointed.

  • Christopher S.

The pizza was delicious. They actually use a brick oven pizza unlike some place that just put a brick wall infront of a pizza oven. It was a little pricey but worth it. My only complaint was the amount of options you had.

We absolutely love Pan Y Vino. And, we try and go as often as we can. Recently we have learned that we have some food sensitivities and the staff was more than happy to help us. Our favorite is the Margarita Pizza with Goat Cheese and not Mozzarella. The salads and Sangria are terrific too. However, the staff (Liz) always makes us feel so welcome. Thank you

Fire oven Yes! Need I say more? This is gourmet pizza. Not your typical cheesy-greasy-red pie. They do have beer but this pizza deserves Wine. Tina has selected scrumptious wines that pair well with pizza of this type. You can get simple pleasures here too. Try munching on blanched Almonds, and artisan hand cured olives, and glass of fruity white wine. Oh yes this is nice.

This restaurant owned by the same manager of Casa Tina has made a wonderufl overhaul on the menu. Previously a wine and tapas bar. The owner decided to remodel the restaurant into a stone oven pizza and wine restaurant. The menu: small, sustainable and every item I have tried thus far was executed near perfect. Tip: Try the soup. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent little wine/pizza/tapas bar. Great selection of wines at decent prices. the waitress was cute and very good at her job. very good wood fired pizza with inventive topping like fig jam or pistachios. we stayed there for a good 3 hours without being rushed or hassled. highly recommended.

Had a great meal in this place recently. Can't comment on the wine, but the food was very good. I had a really nice salad, partner had a great little soup. Then we shared one of their spectacular pistachio pizzas. We will definitely go back there.

This is not a Tapas anything. What it is is a excellent pizza place. I devoured the Prosciutto and Arugula pizza. With a Caprese salad and a glass of wine it was a perfect dinner. Service was also excellent. Adequate selection of beer and wine.

Service: 5 star rating for service. Service was fast friendly and accommodating. I ate there on a Friday night with my wife and 14 month old and they staff had no problem getting us a high chair. The waitress we had was very professional and was very open and honest about the menu. She also gladly answered some of our questions about some recipe ingredients. Seated fast, served very quick and in timely fashion with no delays. Food: 5 star food. This isn't a pizza place you go with a big group or a place to feed a hungry army. The pizzas all come in one size (I believe 12" medium size), though there are many options for different pizza styles. The pizza was delicious, and the fresh crust made the pie along with the other ingredients. It's hard to find pizza with good crust/dough in Florida and they had it. We also started with house salads which was spring mix greens with a honey vinaigrette that was amazing! We also shared one other appetizer the trio spread I believe which comes with 3 different spreads (olive, bruschetta and ricotta) and 3 different breads. All three spreads were amazing, ricotta on the everything crackers was my favorite. Lastly for drinks they had a great selection of uniques beers and wine. Atmosphere: This would be a great date spot, or a place to go with a small family of 4 or 5. The place was extremely clean and the decor was trendy rustic with a country like feel inside. I gave this place a give because I can not think of one bad thing or reason to give them a 4 star or lower rating. Food, service, atmosphere and overall experience was enjoyable and I would certainly go back again. Another great place to visit in Dunedin. Maybe the Dunedin Brewery down the street can learn something from their excellent customer service.

Yes it was Cinco De Mayo and they were busy but our waitress should have stayed home. She didn't have a clue as to what we ordered and was not accommodating. Asked for well done pizza, raw raw raw. Sent the pie back , different waitress needed to fix the pizza Fu Pa. Not going back. 5 stars ????

While spending Easter Break in Clearwater Beach for Phillies Spring Training, my family ran into a dilemma. It was Good Friday (as well as our last night on vacation) and our agreed-upon meatless options were reduced to just pizza. Being the foodie that I am, I couldn't fathom eating a generic slice of pizza at a shop on Clearwater Beach for my last meal of vacation! Luckily, I used Yelp to find Pan Y Vino, located in Dunedin- a short drive from Clearwater Beach. Pan Y Vino is located on super cute Main Street in Dunedin. The inside of this restaurant was equally as cute. We made a reservation for our party of 7- which was smart of us because the place was packed. After a week of being in the sun and drinking beer, we decided to stick to water instead of wine. But they have a pretty good selection of wines and the prices didn't look too bad. Despite the fact that they had some tasty sounding apps and salads, we stuck to pizza. We ordered a classic margherita, a four cheese, garden, and a "fresh from the gulf" shrimp . For seven of us, four pizzas was plenty of food. I would say that one pizza per two people is a good rule of thumb. Every pizza was super delicious, but the consensus in our group was that the four cheese took the blue ribbon. Pan Y Vino has a really good selection of other vegetarian pizzas as well that I would love to try on my next visit. This is a great option for people who are visiting the area and are sick of the bar food/seafood options. I would definitely visit this restaurant again on future trips to the Tampa Bay area.

Best gourmet pizza in town! We don't normally go out for pizza. We were at the downtown Dunedin Mardi Gras festival and didn't want street food. We frequent Casa Tina for their heavy vegetarian menu so we decided to try their sister restaurant next door. The atmosphere is quaint and super romantic. The pizza is the best we have had in years. Just like Casa Tina there are many vegetarian options on this menu and they even use mostly all organic ingredients! We got the Posse's Pesto Pie and added the spinach and tomato. It was all so delicious. The wine selection is great also. It was a super busy night because of the festival and the service was fast and very friendly. We found out our sever was Tina herself and she is super bubbly and really puts her heart into her work. We will definitely be back very soon.

We were in town visiting. This place is wonderfully located. The service and servers are superb - knowledgeable and friendly and not too in your face, which is great. The pizza's were really good, and they are happy to pack up leftover wine for you to take home. Would go again, for sure.

First time in this establishment. Good menu selection...had the Walnut salad and Mediterranean pizza, with a glass of Tempranillo. Salad was excellent, fresh and lite ... Not over dressed. Pizza had good flavor and was well appointed with the ingredients. However, it was under cooked .. One would expect a brick oven pizza to come out with a firm lower crust ... It was a tad soft. Our other pizza was the Vegetarian and lacked many vegetables and was also a tad under cooked. Service was prompt and friendly. If I come here again, will ask for the pizza "extra crispy"
