New to the area but Jing Jing Garden has been the go to Chinese carry-out. Food is not as spicy as I like, but I'll start asking to make it spicier. Large portions. Very friendly service. Pictures on the website would make it easier to order when you aren't familiar with the dish. All minor "issues". Good food, nice service and good prices.. Check it out!

Five stars considering what it is. Quality Carry out Chinese in this area is hard to come by and Jing Jing garden stands above the rest, by far!

Your typical American-style Chinese food. Only took 15 minutes, got exactly what I expected, no more, no less. And it's exactly what I wanted after a long day at work, and didn't want to cook. Would go again.

I work nearby and have been going to this place for almost two years. They are above the average Chinese restaurant. They are friendly, cleaner than most places, the food is tasty, seems healthier than other places and prices are fair. Everything I have tried so far taste pretty good.

This is a great place for take out. I eat in usually, but ambiance isn't so important to me. It's clean, good, and the people give great service. It's not a place you want to take your parents. It's a place to get very good Chinese food at a great price.

The place is very clean and the owners are extremely nice! The food is very good especially the schezuan shrimp. This is the go-to Chinese take-out for Dunedin and Palm Harbor.

I love the food here. It is also very clean and the owners are soooo nice. I have been here a couple times, tried other places in the area but nothing is as good as jing. I love the sweet and sour chicken!

I decided to go here for dinner because the prices are great 5.95 for lunch and 7.95 for dinner. When I walked in I noticed that its very clean, which is nice because not every restaurant I've been to has been clean. I decided to order sweet and sour chicken. I was surprised by how good the chicken is, considering my previous experiences with Chinese. But I have to say the best part of the dinner was the spring and egg rolls. They were both delicious and fried perfectly. The only complaint I have, and the reason I gave Jing Jing a 3 star rating was the rice. Now I'm not an expert on fried rice by any means, but I don't think rice should be dry and i certainly don't think it should taste burnt. So I was disappointed about the rice Having said that I will definitely be will to go there again. I really want to try the fried pork and General Tso's chicken so I will be returning and I will see if the rice was just a one time experience.

I had the Sesame Chicken, spring rolls, and fried dumplings. The sesame chicken was great because it wasn't too sweet and it wasn't overly fried and there was just enough breading. The spring rolls were good and I really enjoyed the spices they used to flavor the fried dumplings, it was good even if you didn't dip them in sauce. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly! This is my new go to Chinese take out place.

This Chinese restaurant is conveniently located on the corner of Curlew and Alt 19 and is in the same plaza as Publix. I've had some rather questionable experiences at some of these strip mall Chinese places (usually when they try to pass of their mystery meat as "beef" and "chicken"), but do not judge this book by its cover! I was originally going to Publix to pick up some stuff to cook for dinner when I saw the sign for $7.95 dinner specials (they have lunch specials for just over $5 as well). I decided I'd give it a shot but still bought some things in Publix just in case this turned out to be another sad excuse for Chinese food. But was I in for a surprise! I ordered the General Tao's Chicken, and all dinner specials come with rice (white, pork fried, or brown) and an egg roll. The egg roll was fresh and delicious. The rice needed some soy sauce to give it some life, but still pretty good. And the chicken was great! It was moist, tender, and definitely chicken, and the sauce was very good as well. Overall very good tasting General Tao's. I'm giving this three stars because I've only eaten there once so far. I'd like to try the beef before giving it anything higher. I'll definitely be back and anyone who needs a quick, cheap, and tasty Chinese meal should definitely check this place out.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
