Friendly staff & THEY HAVE BROWN RICE! That alone is worth 5 stars considering there's no other Chinese place in the area that has it. Asked for Kung pow and chicken wings, king pow with light oil, extra spicy, I'm excited. Food is fresh and excellent. I with the kink pow wasn't fried chicken, but it's delicious...

Since Hin Lee closed up the street I've been looking for a new chinese restaurant. This is not it. Egg drop soup was tasteless, chicken wings were so so salty, fried rice was yellow and not fried with frozen carrot and peas, and the egg foo young gravy was horrendous. I know I've been spoiled after spending time in China, but still I was able to find decent chinese before my favorite place closed. If I could have given this place a 0 I would have. I threw away the food once we tasted it.

5.0 star rating 8/12/2015 As a writer and interviewer for Yelp.com , there is reason to rate this restaurant write-up, way up with stars. Taste buds will swim in the palette which is the key to the "China" success. Check off, great cooking skills and large potions serving size, we have this family restaurant "easing" way out front. Moreover, with key elements mentioned, the potion sizes are a winner and render more satisfying culinary flavor to suit the most searching of food tasting aficianados. Without a doubt, the China Taste flare includes a heavy dose, of hospitality, good cheer, and laughter stemming from a customer base which wants to be fed, quality food. Furthermore, two of my favorite treats are spare ribs and Egg Foo Yung; Take this meal on up and give it a play! Look at the menu , which plainly states in detail what China Taste has to offer, in the brochure. Nevertheless, someone said that the egg drop soup is good for medicinal purposes !? Try it for cold therapy. Located around the corner from PUBLIX SUPERMARKET, on RTE 580, suggest to friends, family and companions to stop and realize the dining of a day at China Taste, and you'll be pleasantly surprised by the food offerings. Don't come by China Taste 580 to look at the scenery or African Rosewood tables and chairs. The owners' goal is to gain your trust as they give out the best in food stuffs.

We're new to the area, so we thought we'd give this local restaurant a try for some carry out chinese. Yikes. My wife ordered the chicken fried rice and I ordered a shrimp dish. One issue right off the bat - we received pork friend rice instead of chicken. It had a funky dirty taste to it and my wife hated it. I tried it and agreed - pitched. My shrimp dish was supposed to be spicey. It was not. It also had a very odd flavor to it. Almost sweet, which it shouldn't have been. I picked the shrimp out and tossed the rest. The egg roll I ordered was good, but that's hardly a saving grace. I cannot recommend and will not be returning. Hoping to find something much better in the area soon, as we love Chinese. One other note: we're not picky at all, so this was bad.

Food is okay, not great or amazing. The lo mein tasted a little plain to me, the pork fried rice is also a little plain (very cheap with the pork and the rice is yellow), and the egg roll was a little plain as well. I mean this place is good if you're in a rush to get Chinese food but remember it's not the greatest Chinese food you will have.

This used to be one of my favorite Chinese food places but in the last year or so, it has been going down hill for me. I think owners changed and food hasn't been as good anymore. Prices did go up though. Lol. I don't get it. But I gave this place 5 or 6 chances in the last 6 months and I keep getting more disappointed. I'm sorry but that's it for me. Can't recommend it anymore.

This was the first time we ordered from here it was the 4th of July and they were the only place open at 9pm. But I probably won't order from here again.. The food was just plain and basic... The General Tso chicken (which is my favorite) was ok. My wife ordered the Szechuan beef... it was all onion and peppers with tiny thin shreds of beef mixed in , maybe a handful too. And the real bummer was I LOVE shrimp fried rice and was disappointed that it was yellow fried rice.. I like fried rice to be brown when it's done not the yellow crap some places serve.. On a good note they gave us complimentary fried doughnuts... They were the best tasting part of the meal... Without the doughnuts I would have only given 1 star.

When I called she put me on hold 3 times. Was very rude. Then when delivery came received wrong order. She wouldn't fix this, and hung up on me 3 times. Very rude and horrible service. Don't go there

I ordered fried rice, not yellow rice. The rice was not fried, the shrimp was under cooked, and i really don't care for peas in my shrimp fried rice. oddly enough after waiting for 20 minutes when i got home i still had to reheat the rice, the rice was bland and was not fried, its just yellow rice they are passing off as fried, I am used to upnorth chinese food i guess i still have to search for a good chinese spot.

Visit time/day: weekend lunch Atmosphere: typical Chinese takeout Yet another mediocre Chinese takeout place. Ordered the Chicken & Mixed Veg Diet Dish with Garlic Sauce lunch special. Veg were slightly overcooked (still had a little crunch but I prefer more), chicken breast sliced thin but very rubbery (likely due to steaming). Garlic sauce was very good - they should bottle this! BF ordered General Tsao with fried rice - nothing special and kind of made him feel ill afterwards (*not* implying anything about the food quality, think it was more the greasy + sugary + boogery meat combo that made him feel grose). Pro: lunch specials come with a can of soda and they have an interesting selection, well beyond Coke or Pepsi (Hawaiian Punch - yes!, Root Beer, etc.). Not being a huge soda drinker I would have preferred an egg roll, but kudos for the soda variety :) Probably won't go back especially when Ivory is just a few blocks away. I prefer veg more al dente, tofu options, and in an idealistic world, soup and/or egg roll with a lunch special.

Excellent food. Everything is made fresh. Nothing frozen or junk food. No MSG. Best Chinese food around.

I love this place! It is right next to Firehouse subs in Granada plaza (look for Publix) Ok, so it's a small hole in the wall, with 3 tables, but it is by far the best chinese take out we have had and we've ordered from m-a-n-y places (which reminds me to yelp those places..lol) THIS is the only place we order from! We have tried everything on the menu-everything! Pros = They make it just like I want it- whether its extra this, or none of that without the hassle other places give me. lol The crab ragoon is so delicious, not like the others that taste like bland creamcheese-this place has flavor! Great prices too, plus they have coupons for freebies when you purchase a certain amount. Keep in mind you don't really need the coupons, they throw something in anyway!! They are quick, delicious and friendly. Cons = if you don't order ahead of time, you'll be sitting there for 10 mins smelling the food! lol A must try!

If you are looking for Chinese this is an okay place. The food is good but nothing to write home about. I am still looking for a chinese place to call my own. I have noticed that down here in Florida there are no just chinese they are all a fusion of thai, vietnamese & chinese.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
