The food comes out in generous portions and is very tasty. Very dog friendly which is nice. Friendly staff, Michael our waiter was great, and the grilled muffins, which is a unique dessert that you don't find most places, were awesome. The outside seating is very enjoyable and shaded. The jerk chicken salad was very tasty, and although it is a little bit spicy, we found it to be spicy in a good way. And the blue cheese cheeseburger was awesome! Overall, a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely come back again.

Food is delish. 2 out of the last 3 times I was there, the service was slow and inattentive. The Dunedin Omelette is incredible! The Farmers Market Omelette is also yummy! I enjoy the unique options but not the higher prices! Expect to pay $7.95 minimum for an omelette. Be careful ordering tomatoes instead of potatoes as a side, there's a .75 up charge and a silent server. Coffee is rich and tasty. Water is good from the tap. Enjoy.

So maybe 4 stars is for their ability to stave my hunger after a day of driving and business meetings, but they did it awesomely! The staff was super friendly and was sensitive to my need to eat and run. I was thrilled to find something that was high quality and quick. The food (snapper BLT) was HOT when it came to my table, the menu was pretty creative and offered choices.

First time there. Wife had a egg omelete and I got a breakfast wrap. We both ended up with stomach problems.

I can't say enough about this place! I had the Steak Benedict my first visit and the Steak Panini w/grilled onions and blue cheese crumbles. The staff is quick and polite and the food is awesome!!!!!

This place was fabulous! In a quaint-artsy area and the food was amazing! Portions were large. I had a triple stacked grilled cheese with bacon and tomato...awesome! Staff was very friendly. Glad we stumbled on this gem :)

We stopped by the Broadway Deli and Café while walking through Dunedin during a hot morning. We weren't sure if we were going to order something to eat, but ordered the homemade sweet tea and lemonade. We sat at a table and the waiter gave us menus as we cooled off and decided whether we were going to eat. We choose not to; not because of the menu. I thought they had some nice sandwiches at reasonable prices (we just weren't hungry). The waiter was very friendly and gracious so I would stop by again.

'Yummmmm!' is how I describe the food here! I had breakfast with a friend and my dog this morning. I found them on bringfido.com and it was delicious! The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's planning a visit to Dunedin. I'll be back for sure as I want to try their lunch and dinner menus!

Excellent food and service. I have gotten breakfast and lunch there and was impressed with both. I usually get my food to go but they do have a really nice outdoor patio. Also free wifi. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. Will definitely be returning.

They have great service and great food what more could you want?

Awesome place for breakfast or brunch! Very down-home But swank place! Love it! Great food but service is very very slow. So lower your standards!

Wow what a great place. The food: Had the backyard burger and sweet potato fries. It was the best burger I have eaten in 6 months. We had several other dishes that were delicious. Two awesome salads, pancakes, and the iced coffee was strong and tasty. Met the owner - very nice guy. He designed the place and menu. Will be back often.

The best pastrami I've ever put inside me comes from Broadway Deli! Lean, not fatty and delicious. If you're having trouble deciding on what to have, order pastrami with garlic cheddar, 1000 island on rye, it'll change your life. The servers are always friendly and today was no exception with Lauren, a class act all the way. The menu has many things to choose from so it could be difficult choosing something, but it's totally worth it!

I've only eaten here for breakfast, but this place has awesome food and awesome service! They've also got delicious coffee. If you want a really nice place that's kind of a nook, then go here. You can ride your bike down the Pinellas Trail and park there for a nice breakfast or coffee.

Nice place with good atmosphere. Staff is pleasant and doesn't rush you. Veggie burger which is an occasional special is fantastic. I had the turkey burger today which was disappointing.

Too bad i never got a chance to sample the food. The very rude wait staff never came to take my order after waiting 5-10minutes while they stood around talking.

Pros: - Delicious food (ahi tuna salad and turkey wrap) - Awesome salted caramel latte (must have!) - Good service - Nice outdoor seating area - Modern interior Cons: - Closes early Sun-Wed -Potato chips is the only side option for lunch menu I'm giving this place a 4 instead of 5 star because of these 2 cons. Too many times I'm in the area and would love to grab a bite here but it's closed, and I'd love healthier options for side, ie. steamed veggies.

5 star experience today. Great service (Lauren) , great company and great food! If you ever come to Broadway deli and they have Steak Benedict on the specials, order that, I highly recommend it! Don't forget to ask for the collard greens with it, it was a great touch! The only thing that was missing was a mimosa ;-) they don't serve alcohol here.. Cry Cry Sniffle

My wife and I stopped in here after a long walk on the Pinellas Trail with our dogs. I've walked past it many times but never went in. I was very pleasantly surprised! It is a dog-friendly restaurant and we sat on their beautiful patio underneath the oak trees. I ordered the Veggie Panini and it was fantastic. It had roasted vegetables, Muenster cheese and a sun-dried tomato sauce on ciabatta bread. Really good! Our server was very friendly, offered some advice about the menu items, and was very attentive without being a pest. I'll definitely be back!

First time to this restaurant. We didn't know where to go, so we just stood in the entrance until someone finally told us to take a seat anywhere. After that, the service was good. The place was clean. My food was not what I expected. I had a spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken was greasy, and not crispy at all. It was only a little bit spicy and missing flavor. The chips were plain, the slaw was also plain. The fries were the best side. I might go back and try some tea. They have a lot of tea on the menu. I will definitely not get the spicy chicken sandwich again.

The Cuban with salami was mediocre. From what I gather, traditionally a Cuban does not have salami, but I like them both ways. Actually, I probably like a Cuban better with the salami. I think it just makes for a more full tasting sandwich. Although, sometimes simplicity is best; I'm torn. It was okay, not the best Cuban I've ever had, but not the worst either. Spicy chicken sandwich not that great. Breading fell off, and just didn't taste that good (like it was frozen). The lunch sandwiches come with your choice of "kettle" chips, coleslaw, or potato salad. We choose the kettle chips, and french fries for an upcharge, but still had to pick one of the three sides I didn't want. So, I choose coleslaw. The coleslaw I didn't want was not good. It was basically white cabbage in a water down mayonnaise dressing, but I was forced to choose one. I don't really like potato salad and chips are never a good idea at a restaurant (maybe one exception). My wife wanted the chips, and I'm pretty sure they opened one of those tiny individual bags, and put it on the plate with the chicken sandwich. My fries were good! I'm glad I ordered those, even for the upcharge. The service was fast and friendly, and the place is pretty clean. Also it's located in a great place to go walk around after having lunch or dinner. Just one more thing about the chips. For the money I pay at a restaurant, I want something cooked, not opened. I can get a bag of chips at any grocery store, convenience store, or gas station on any block in any part of town.

Sitting outside on a nice sunny, perfect Sunday with a few friends, my hubby, and my dog, I enjoyed every moment of this place. Besides sandwiches, soups, and salads, they have a nice array of breakfast items, burgers, and wraps. Two items grabbed my attention both of which were on their specials menu that is located inside on their chalkboard. They were a turkey burger with fried green tomato and a bleu cheese spread. I would have asked for no bleu cheese, but that's me. The other option was either a salmon eggs benedict or steak eggs benedict sitting up top of a potato pancake instead of the usual English muffin. This time I chose the salmon eggs benedict with a side of pineapple and strawberries. To me, salmon doesn't sound very traditional as well as the potato pancake for the eggs benedict. This is why it grabbed my attention. It was very tasty, as well as the bite of my hubby's steak eggs benedict as well. Lauren, our server was very nice and helpful as well. She made sure we had our drinks refilled, and that we had everything that we needed.

It's time to update my review As I've given this place another chance. Every visit since my first one Made my tummy do a happy dance! The service from Lauren Is always fantastic! She knows what I need Before I even ask it! Served atop a potato pancake, I had the fresh salmon Bennie. Try as you might, You won't find that at Denny's. My Boyfriend tells me They have the best pastrami around. And since Broadway is a deli, They'll sell it by the pound!

Great biking destination for breakfast. Good selection of espresso coffees, eggs, French toast, pan perdue, pancakes and so on A nice addition is the potato pancakes that accompany most dishes. I'm having the 222, no Ontario friends this is not codeine, aspirin and caffeine, it's deux French toast, 2 eggs, two Kentucky sausage.

I really wanted to like this place, unfortunately it did not turn out that way. I ordered the veggie panini and the turkey burger with French fries. I was so looking forward to enjoying my panini. The first bite of the sandwich I took tasted pretty good up until the second bite. The vegetables had a really weird taste to them as if they grilled them together with something else. Just the melted cheese and bread alone tasted good but the veggies just ruined it, and those were the main things that were supposed to go inside. The portion of the sandwich was good. I just wish I could have ate the other half. The turkey burger was a good size as well but was not seasoned well. I feel as if they could have used some salt and peeper on the ground turkey. I thought it tasted way too plain for me to actually enjoy it. The burger did come with the usually toppings which seemed fresher than other places, and the bund they used was pretty good. Lastly, the French fries. I like their concept of not frying the fries and instead baking them. The only thing I did not like is the frozen aftertaste to them and the sogginess. While I was eating the fries, they tasted good but it just had that frozen taste to it afterwards. I usually do not give places a second chance only because I normally order more than one thing during a visit, but I really want to give this place a second shot. I might try their breakfast next time. I'm not sure if I can recommend this place just yet. If you do happen to dine here, I do not recommend ordering their veggie panini or their turkey burger.

Best all around restaurant in Dunedin, FL. Whether you go for breakfast, lunch or dinner don't forget to order Kahwa Coffee roasted in St. Petersburg, FL. If you have a special request Keith and Robbie will gladly do what they can to please each and every customer. Even friendly dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area with lots of shade to enhance your pleasant eating experience.

I've been to Broadway a few times. The last few have been so good! So good in fact we went twice in two days! We sat outside with our pup, on the nice patio to enjoy our recent streak of great weather. The first time I got a salmon BLT. It wasn't on the menu but our service suggested it. It was AMAZING! The salmon was so fresh, you could taste the wood it was grilled on (in a good way!). My boyfriend got a turkey Reuben. It was also delicious! We went again yesterday and I got a turkey sandwich with roasted garlic and avocado and a bunch of other delicious ingredients that escape now. My boyfriend got the veggie Reuben. It was different, had tomato, cauliflower, and other non-traditional sandwich veggies. It was still good! Why didn't I give it 5 stars? Well service is a bit slow....they're all really nice, but you might have to wait for anyone to come over to your table. Also the sammies come with potato salad or chips. If you want fries it's $2.75 extra. I don't mind paying extra, but we got like 8 fries each, too stingy for me.

  • Teresa L.

Great place for a quick breakfast, particularly if you don't want to have to wait overlong. The breakfast wrap is really where it's at. Fresh and hot and all wrapped up nicely. As an aside I happen to notice they are serving Kahwa coffee and couldn't be more excited! I've stopped in on occasion for late lunch/early dinner as well and they have some good sammies to choose from. I really should frequent this place more often.

I had to give this a second chance. My food, eventually was amazing! However, it was pretty busy and the server seemed like she was either new to the game, or couldn't handle a pop. My original order, they were out of. So I had to order something else. She handed me a menu, and walked away took a few other orders and it was awhile before she came back. Therefore my table was completely finished by the time my meal came. She took a long time to take our order to begin with, and didn't bring straws for our drinks. I am grateful I was not in a rush, because there is no way someone could have had this type of experience on a lunch break. The three is justified with everyone's meal tasting delicious, being able to find parking and a clean atmosphere.

Ducked in for a bite to eat and some Go-Go Juice before my fascial stretching appointment with Carolyn Bell Pilates and was glad I did, here's why: * Clean * Friendly * Prompt and professional * Good food * Appropriately priced * Located in quaint Dunedin * Cool decor and lighting, etc. I had the Breakfast Wrap and was impressed by the freshness and presentation. Nice job (see photo). I also tried the grilled Chicken and Apple Sausage and was not impressed. The flavor was not robust enough, and the sausage wasn't cooked enough, texture-wise, for my liking. Worth a trip for sure!

"Oh my God!" Those were the exact words I said after I took the first bite of my breakfast sandwich. This thing was amazing! The flavors exploded in my mouth. I even gave a bite to the 7 year old with me and she loved it. The ambiance is nice with an outdoor patio. Like most places in Dunedin they are very pet friendly. My critique...I tried to order from 2 pictures off the menu and neither one did they have. I found this super annoying but the sandwich I ordered made me quickly forget.

I was down on vacation and checked Yelp for local deli's. This place had great reviews so I gave it a try. So glad I did! Had maybe the best Italian sub I've ever had. I will be back next time I am down here.

Not happy it was $41 for three sandwiches!?! Waited for my to go order, no seats to sit on and I felt like I was in the way the whole time standing at the bar. It would have been nice if they offered me a water while I waited.

We have been here twice. Both times were positive experiences. Service was friendly, the food was mostly good. One complaint: the fries were soggy. Our burgers were good. Lots of good toppings. There is a nice, no-smoking patio. Have not tried the coffee so we will be back for a sample.

We ate here for the 1st time on 7/26/14 and we did like it. My husband got a ham and cheese omelet with a honey glaze, which came with a homemade potato pancake and toast. He said it was really good. I got a roast beef sandwich and baked French fries. I love that they bake their fries instead of frying! There was a mild spice coating and they were so good! My sandwich was good as well. You get to customize your sandwich with your choice of meat, cheese, bread, garnish and condiments. I like that a lot. The negative was the amount of roast beef in the sandwich. All it had was a small heap of meat about 2 inches in diameter and it was placed smack in the middle of the bread. I tried to spread it out but there wasn't even enough to cover the bread. I've never seen so little meat in a sandwich! It was really disappointing because the roast beef, what there was of it, was delicious. I asked the server if that was the normal portion and she said it was but if I wanted, I could get extra roast beef for $3 and change. I passed on the extra because i wasn't about to pay over $12 for a simple meat and cheese sandwich. The waitstaff was really good. Everyone was very friendly and our server didn't hover and she checked 2 or 3 times to see how we were doing. They also serve delicious, refreshing unsweetened iced tea with passion fruit flavor. All in all, we would go back to Broadway Deli and Cafe but I know now to steer clear of the sandwiches.

Wow , I've walked by this gem many times before I decided to give it a try. I looked at the menu on the website so I would have an idea what I wanted to try first. I decided on the "Turkey all Wrapped Up". When I sat down they had a special on something called the Sante Fe so I tried that first. Wow it was delicious (fresh avocado), all wrapped up and toasted, even though I was expecting a good sandwich I just thought wow, this is really good. Ended up going back the next day for the "Turkey all Wrapped Up" which was equally appealing. I guess I'm going to be a regular when I'm in town, this little place gives me a little something extra to look forward to. :)

My husband and I stopped in randomly while on vacation. The food here is delicious. Coming from a foodie town this café hit the nail right on the head. The place was packed on a late Monday morning. The food came out promptly and correctly. The staff was intentive even though they were very busy. We'll be back!!!

This place is great! Very family and pet friendly atmosphere. They allow you to have your (well behaved) dog with you, they allow you to eat with them on the patio area which has covered seating and well shaded. This place is truly a diamond hidden in the back streets of Main St. Simple food but VERY well prepared. Great place to get a quick bite to eat or a simple lunch out with friends.

I am rarely in the Dunedin area, but knew I could turn to Yelp for some lunch suggestions when I was over here last week. This place lived up to the Yelp hype, and then some! Although it was lunch time, I decided to go with breakfast. I ordered an apple pie latte which was delicious. For my meal, I ordered an omelette filled with turkey, Swiss and sundried tomatoes. Not only was it cooked to perfection, but the freshness and quality of every single ingredient shined through with every bite. It came with a potato cake, which was like a cross between hash browns and a latke, and toast. Oh, that toast! They bake their own bread and again, the quality of the ingredients is obvious. I raved and raved to our waitress about how delicious the bread was, to the point she might have thought I was a little nuts. I also had a few bites of my dining mate's grits, which were so buttery and creamy. I'd be happy coming back and ordering a big bowl or grits and some toast. When was the last time you were blown away by such pedestrian fare as rye toast or grits? It wasn't until after my visit that I realized they use lots of local ingredients, hence the incredible freshness and high quality. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend anyone in the Dunedin area check it out!

For some strange reason I keep finding myself here for breakfasts. It might be something to do with my car being left overnight at the back of Rosie's but the breakfast wrap always tastes good. I have stopped in a few evenings and have to admit I like their sandwiches too.

I am sad to say that even though the food is good the service is poor. The waitress was not friendly, no smile but a smirk . After ordering coffee my husband had to go up to the waitress twice before I got milk. No water at the table . I could have dealt with the slow service if the waitress would have been more accommodating. She never asked if the food was good or if we needed anything else. After I ate I noticed the menu board towards the back of the restaurant which had specials that I would have ordered but never knew about as the waitress never gave us a special menu. Not a happy meal

Question: When do you want to come here? Answer: when you are not hungry Answer: when you are 5 years old and looking for a large meal Question: when do you not want to come here? Answer: when you are a hungry adult looking for a French dip sandwich that has more bread than the 2 oz portion of meat. Answer: when you are looking to have choices in your side since you can't eat potato chips If your food costs or rent is too high - perhaps you should rethink the location or food offerings. Deli calls to mind - large portions of meat since you purchase the meats at the lowest costs... Good note: meat was delicious and the service was good Enjoy kids and petite people without an appetite...

A fabulous little find just off Main Street in Dunedin. Went for breakfast, coffee was terrific, food was creative and fresh. Had the turkey and Swiss omelet (they will do egg white on request), and they turkey was hand carved, a nice touch. They offered homemade muffins, and pancakes (not on the menu, just ask). The place had a welcome vibe, high ceilings, bright floor to ceiling windows, and a sunny patio. Free wi-fi and very friendly service. We have been going to Kelly's for breakfast way too long, and while it too is good, this is a bright, clean, friendly and fresh alternative. Note: they offer BYOB with no corking fee for dinner Friday and Saturday nights. The lunch menu looked awesome. So many meals, so little time...

Cute place but the food was not good. I went there with my family. The french toast, scramble eggs, crepes, and burgers were not good. No one finished their food. Disappointing. I was hoping to find a something different than the usual chain restaurants.

Had lunch at Broadway Deli this afternoon and it was delicious. I had the Backyard Burger which was flavorful, juicy, and gigantic. My husband had the Cuban, I'm not a fan of deli sandwiches but he scarfed it down in about 3 minutes flat. The outdoor patio is dog-friendly which some may think is a plus, and its the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars; seeing a dog clean himself while I'm trying to eat is a bit gross, but the food was outstanding! We will definitely be back!

The best aspect here is BYOW! Bring your own wine. (We even bring our good glass.) Chief Keith comes out to visit you and his servers are too cute and most helpful. If it is not on the menu just ask. We have done this twice and it is fantastic. The vision of Chief Keith is to buy all local produce and meats. Even the sprouts are local produced. The sprouts are fantastic! The coffee here is local roasted and wow is it good. We like to sit on the patio under the shade of a great oak. And yes, people are encouraged to bring the dogs. They have many bowls for the dogs. His soups are visionary. He takes what is fresh and cooks up delicious meals. Yes it is a great place and yes we do go back.

While showing my uncle and his wife the cool downtown area of Dunedin, we decided to stop in Broadway for lunch. While the area has a good selection of dining choices, the chef/owner Keith serves up very fresh flavors in great recipes. The interior here is very nice with high chair tables situated along bright windows on the side with more seating a bit further back, along with outdoor seating for good weather days. The menu here emphasizes most ingredients from local farms and fish, and other high quality products like Dietz & Watson meats which are all-natural, and have no preservatives, MSG or gluten, along with artisan cheeses with no bovine growth hormone. Service was attentive and prompt, and my guests ordered the Backyard Burger and sweet potato fries and a BBQ sandwich. I had the Cuban, and the BBQ and it were both served with kettle chips. My guests found their choices excellent, and the Cuban was very good. Big thumbs up on both the sweet potato fries and kettle chips, too. Prices are just a bit high compared to many other Dunedin restaurants, but not out of line for the high quality ingredients and flavors. I think downtown Dunedin is the best restaurant neighborhood in North Pinellas, and Broadway is a fine addition to the mix. Keith and the staff are super friendly and I'll definitely try to get back to check out the rest of the menu. Atmosphere: 4 Service: 5 Food: 4 Value: 4

I am going to be honest with all here folks. I have given this restaurant 5 stars each & every time we've eaten here (whether I Yelped it or not since my last review). When we were deciding on where to eat lunch this past Saturday (05/11/12), I recommended Broadway, "because they are so consistently good". I really do love this place but noticed that our service was slower than usual & when I ordered my fav, "the Broadway Dip", it arrived disproportionately different. One half of my sandwich was normal, but the other half only had a smidgen of roast beef & toppings. I actually commented on this, but our waitress either did not hear me or walked away not caring. Then I noticed something else. The Head Chef wasn't there. Regardless, quality control should be the same whether he is there or not. If we go back, I'll make sure that the Chef is on site before we sit down..

Very tasty breakfast or lunch place. I'd give it four and a half stars is I could. My wife and I have eaten here several times for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast is very good service is quick and they have a variety of offerings; french toast, omelets, eggs and meat. My favorite is the veggie omelet my wife likes the two eggs with toast. Lunch here is very good too. My favorite item is the turkey burger with bacon and blue cheese, the sandwiches and salads are also good too. We have never had an issue with service we are usually promptly seated and they get the food out quick. My only complaint is that some of the burgers come with fries and others come with chips. Their sweet potato fries are great but I have to pay an extra $2.50 to get them with the turkey burger. If I order one of the regular burgers they just come with it. It's just baffling!

I love this place!. My husband and I come every friday or saturday and enjoy the food. Keith takes local products such as fish caught the same day and vegetables from the farmers markets to provide a high quality meal. We love how he comes to say hi every time we are there. The two girls Jeni and Sarah are great and I love seeing them. This place is great for anything, from the pre-set menu to the specials. One of the best things I love are the crepes they have. Crepes are super difficult to find, especially some that look like they are for a dainty little girl. These always have a great fruit infusion and I am always pleased! The outdoor seating is a great addition and when we want to we can bring Chewbacca with us too!

I finally got the chance to dine in, well outdoors on the patio, but still at the restaurant. We brought the dogs and sat outside, my one complaint is the tables are a little close together outside. I had to keep the dogs on a tight leash to keep them from going under other peoples tables. I ordered off menu and it was no problem at all, our server didn't even give it a second thought when I placed my order. As always they chef/ owner? was there chatting with the customers. This is such a welcoming place to grab lunch, wish more were like it in the area.

Great place to eat. The food is excellent and the patio is heaven. We go back every time we are in town.

Located in a cute arts colony of small specialty shops (bead store, art studio, etc.). Very cozy coffee shop. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, classy photographs (for sale) all over the walls and windows, good for a quick stop or a study area. I had green zen tea and the orange blossom muffin which were both great for $5bucks total. The muffin was good despite it being 7pm and probably not being fresh. IT was awesome! PLus side-this shop is connected to a cute paint shop!

7 of us wandered in, dressed as pirates, 10 minutes before they closed. The service was fantastic and friendly, the food was delicious. What else can you say?

I come here every time I'm in Dunedin and it's awesome. Nice atmosphere, great service, and the food is outstanding. Terrific sandwiches, great hamburgers, even the chips, pickles, and fries are really good. They have a broad selection of obscure sodas including my personal favorite, Apple Beer.

Good bid portions. Friendly staff. Nice soundtrack playing downtempo. A convenient spot to stop when riding bikes on Pinellas Trail.

Broadway is a Dunedin hidden gem. Every Thursday or Friday I eagerly await the menu for Friday and Saturday night posted via Facebook. Keith, one of the owners and chef, consistently comes up with inventive entrees using fresh, local ingredients. I have to eat gluten-free due to allergies and I've never had a problem at Broadway. Keith is very cognizant and always knows what modifications to make, if any. They do a small menu of dinner entrees on Friday and Saturday nights only. The breakfast menu, especially the omelets, are out of this world! Sans gluten, I can't speak to the lunch menu much but everyone I bring raves about the Cuban and the Italian sandwiches. The service is stellar. Jenny and Sarah are fun and upbeat and always take care of our every need. The space itself is clean and modern but inviting. If you like knowing where your food comes from and what's in it, this place is perfect. On a nice night, sit outside and bring your favorite bottle of wine. It is BYOB for the time being!

Broadway Deli's is amazing, breakfast lunch or dinner. Always something new and creative. Amazingly inventive chef and great service. The cappuccino and on-site baked muffins will keep you coming back for more. At dinner you can bring your own wine and they don't even charge a set-up fee. The prices are a little higher than you think when you hear the word "deli." But, the quality is up there too. Highly, highly recommend!

I've been trying to convince my boyfriend to try this place on a weekend night for months. He's always leery of trying new places at dinner time (his thought is that it's better to experiment at another meal or try an app). But I receive Broadway Deli and Cafe's daily Facebook posts and the specials always sound delicious. The concept of BYOB was attractive as was the prospect of sitting outside in Delightful Dunedin. Finally, we went last night. Turned out, we did not BYOB as we were mindful that we'd be going to the Brewery afterwards. So the focus was on the food. I wish I'd read the review of the individual who ordered the French dip sandwich before going. I would have asked them to charge us for $2- $3 for more meat on the sandwich my boyfriend ordered. While the bread was toasty, the cheese nicely melted and the dip flavorful, the meat portion was notably sparse. The potato salad he ordered as an extra side was very sweet and loaded with mayo, so no help there. Luckily he was not that hungry or we would have been ordering again at the Brewery. I had the Chicken Mole Tamale special which was, I'm sorry to say, only OK. I'm from Southern CA, so I know I'm picky when it comes to Mexican, but for $15, I was thinking it might be special. The tamale texture was slippery, in part because it was not hot enough in temperature. It was very lightly stuffed with chicken and the accompanying sauce was cold. I did not send it back as I did not wish to underscore any further that my restaurant choice was perhaps not a good one for us. The accompanying rice and bean medley with my meal including tomato, cilantro and purple spinach was very good and a generous portion. Though a lovely evening, there were very few patrons. I'm giving this three stars, b/c you can tell this owner is really trying to offer some unique choices and the staff is very friendly. know it's difficult to not serve alcohol (where the profit comes) and deliver value. I will definitely try it again, but with the girls for a light bite.

We were in town for 4 days and enjoyed our breakfast so much, we came back the next day for more. Friendly fast service and delicious food. The breakfast wrap and bagel with lox were favorites among our group. The eggs Benedict were perfect too! Delicious and inexpensive!

The food is good here! I enjoyed it very much. My only negatives were the service and the disgusting, filthy bathrooms. I highly recommend you eat take-out. They have delicious sandwiches and presentation is good. The menu has a lot of variety and everything is well made. Management needs to get on top of the mess in the bathroom, because that was inexcusable, and I'm not sure if our server was high or just a do-do, but our order was totally messed up and didn't seem too concerned about it.

I got the Italian sandwich and it was truly amazing, maybe the best one I have ever had. Everything was very fresh. Our waitress was very nice. We were one of maybe 3 tables there on a week night. The wait for our food seemed a little long but we didn't have anywhere to be so it wasn't a big deal. The chef went around to every table making sure everyone enjoyed their food which was nice.

A Gluten free Calabasa Squash, ginger, oat flour, fat free yogurt muffin. Yeah, it's a mouthful and deliciously healthy too! Just a taste of what Keith is adding to his menu. Decided to try their dinner menu on a Friday night! We started with a Crab Stuffed Portabella Mushroom, followed by a cup of the Organic Vegetable Chicken Wild Rice with Kale Soup. The Entree was The Catch of the Day, Baked Red Grouper with Mango Butter Sauce served with Jasmine Rice Timbale & Mixed Dinner Vegetables! I can't say enough about it! Oh, the dessert? Lemon Lava Cake with a light Coconut dusting! Outstanding and reasonably priced. 'Nuff said!

Everything I've eaten here has been very good! Steak salad is very yummy! Ham and cheddar omelet is delicious. It has a mango purée on top and it works! Potato cakes are great, too. The sausage is really yummy! All staff are in the right business! Hospitality is genuine and I feel welcome here every time. (Even with a mobile toddler getting lose here and there, they are always friendly!) My first choice for breakfast or lunch in the area!
