Like stated in the other reviews their delivery service is very fast. And their food is very good. We have moved away from the area so we don't get delivery from them any longer however we will make a special trip back to Hollywood to get Chinese takeout from number one wok

My boyfriend and I ordered delivery. From the rating you already know what we got is not what we ordered. I order chicken teriyaki with white rice and I got chicken with vegetables in a beef broth. We were also missing a soup. Getting the wrong food is not that big of a deal but when we called back I asked what are we going to do about getting the wrong order? They said that the manager wasn't there and they would send another one. 10 minutes later they call back saying that they are not sending another one and that's the way they make chicken teriyaki. I don't know what they exactly they said to my boyfriend but it caused him to take my "chicken teriyaki" and storm out the house and go to the restaurant. Apparently they said no refund and that's the way they make it. You decide for yourself what you think it is... But I regardless I don't think Number One Wok handled this situation correctly when dealing with potentially new customers.

Very consistent. Staples are very good - soups, fried rice, etc. I get a General Tso's tofu that's delicious and I love their shrimp egg rolls (unusual, because they use the same wrapper as is commonly used for the egg rolls, not spring rolls.) Some fried items (sweet & sour shrimp) can be a bit oily, but I ask them to go easy on the oil on items where possible (fried rice) and they always accommodate.

This has been my families favorite Chinese take out since moving to south Florida 2 years ago! Everything on menu is delicious- our favs are the curry tofu and generals chicken! Employees are friendly and efficient! We love that they do delivery and it's always very fast! Got a Chinese craving- No. 1 Wok is for your taste buds!

Never had a bad experience here. Food was delivered super fast and ordering online is especially easy. I always order the special wonton soup no matter what place I visit but this one is far better than the rest I've tried in the past - hands down best! They pack the heck out of those 5qt containers brimming with meats and veggies. Also the Happy family was a nice treat. I always order online and the web ordering is straight forward and super easy. Select what you want and go. Easy. 5 stars here.

I would never go to this Chinese restaurant ever again we called over the phone to place the order for a group at work.. the girl was very rude didn't want to give us the prices ....That should have been the sign not to place an order with them...then once I we and picked up the food she was still rude and stated we didn't have to order with them again...if it was for the fact that I ordered for co-workers I would have left the food right their...Needless to say the food very greasy and wasn't good at all... I wouldn't remanded this place to anyone...we as a consumer have a choice as to where we spend our money..

Food is good but I stopped ordering from there because they kept giving me wrong orders. Customer Service is not that good. The best thing I recommend there to eat is the Crab Ragoons.

So rude. Delivered the wrong item and then yelled at me when I called to ask for my correct order. Food is inconsistent- really good at times and not edible at others.

Yesterday was my first time ordering Chinese since I moved up from Miami. I ordered the Family Pack "A". This is the best I've had in quite a while not to mention the price. We got the Wonton soup that had just the right amount of scallions for taste. Chicken fried rice was good and the sweet and sour chicken tops. Portions where enough to feed 5. Also, I guess for being a first time customer they gave me a large calendar for 2014 (it's neat). All in all, the price is great and the food is great so I guess I moved into the right area. \../^-^\../

I used to go there two or three times a month, but I stopped because the Ladies were rude and arguementative. Other than that, they had fast service and ok food.

I was really hungry one time and I have no car I was with my newborn at home. I ordered some food for delivery but unfortunately I only had 10.00 and the rest I paid in change quarters pennies dimes nickels you name it. The delivery guy looked at me and cursed at me because I had paid in change and didn't have extra for a tip. I was very embarrassed but it was all I had. He could be a little more sympathetic to customers in need.

Great location --- if you're waiting for your take-out to be prepared, you can walk right over to the Publix or the liquor store next to this restaurant. The service is quick and courteous, and the food was decent. Prices are in line with what'd you expect from other Chinese restaurants, and the portions are a good size. My main complaint is the Wonton Soup. I have never come across a Wonton Soup I didn't like, not even those $1.00 canned soups you can pick up at any supermarket... until now. Thankfully my Chicken & Broccoli was yummy enough to make up for it, so 4 stars from me! I'd recommend this if you're looking for something quick, simple, and ... well ... Chinese.

Best Chinese food takeout in Hollywood/Davie. Fresh vegetables everytime. Fried rice always takes great.

I used to go to china star(now a backup) in Hollywood, FL and wanted to try other Chinese takeout's. I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce and quart of pork fried rice and I have to say it surpasses china star. The shrimp is of a large to jumbo size which is a plus. Some Chinese takeout give you micro small shrimp like china taste on university. The rice is where it kills china star, it is moister. You can judge a good Chinese takeout by the rice. The online service is very convenient, but when I walked in one lady seem confused with the idea of an online pickup, her coworker had to correct her mistake. So they need to be more aware of online orders. The food is very consistent so I keep going back. UPDATE 2: -Pork fried rice was good. -Tried the french fries and they were soggy. UPDATE 3: -Pork rice still good -Egg roll was very tough. The previous two times was fine. -UPDATE 4 -Pork rice is consistent. -chicken chop suey is good, but the white rice and crispy noodles tasted old. UPDATE 5 -The shrimp chop suey and 18 pieces of shrimp was good, but the jumbo shrimp had too much batter. Stick with the 18 pieces -The pork fried rice is always good here -The spare ribs were a little tough to chew on. -Like others have stated in other review there is a sense of coldness from the ladies on front desk. The Little Caesars next door is more welcoming.

I USED TO LOVE THIS RESTAURANT long time ago. Everything was really really good, my favorite chinese restaurant. However, I don't know what happened to it, but the quality of their food went down, I always used to buy the fried rice with shrimps and meat, but sometimes it doesn't have a taste. I'm not pretty sure what happened , but isn't the same.

Standard Chinese food, like in any strip mall. The bathroom was filthy, and had no toilet paper. The tables & chairs were dirty, rusty, and wobbly. I do not recommend eating in, would be fine for take-out.

Food was fresh, watched them prepare it. I got the General Tso's Chicken combo. It comes with Pork Fried rice and an egg roll. The egg roll was tasty and the rice had large chunks of pork. The fried rice is a little different than what I am used to and not my favorite.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions.
