Searched on yelp for something to eat for dinner that was different, but good. I found knucklehead. It was a small joint in a strip mall, not what I expected. Don't let that fool you. There burgers were messy and goooooddddd. Cooked exactly the way you tell them and very tasty. Side them with homemade fries or chips and you won't go home hungry or dissatisfied. Thank y again yelp for another good find.

Good burgers and great shakes. They can be a little pricey if you're not careful but the burgers are delicious enough to make me not care so much about that.

This place has really tasty patties and a fun selection of burgers, but the prices are pretty high for a counter service joint, and the staff is a little rood. So not such a great value...

"Come on Ice Cream! Come on Ice Cream!" If you don't know what I'm talking about in the previous quote, you're probably not a fan of the super-hot. The W and I came in for a burger. It's a craving we have every so often, and she loves a good Black and Bleu (ok, if you''ve read my previous reviews, she only likes one Black and Bleu, but we don't live near that location anymore). It was a good time to venture. She orders a burger. Bleu Burger, no vegetables, yada, yada, yada. I notice they have chicken wings. I order the wings, but I can't remember what the sauce is called. It's the one directly after hot. So I ask the counter guy - how hot is it? He responds with something scientific about Ghost pepper extract, and I can't remember what he said - though I'm pretty sure I remember "remembering". . . . I am told I ordered six. See the thing is, that s#1+ was so HOT, I lost my memory! I'm serious. I couldn't even get past three! I was covered in torrents of sweat and trying to remember why I ordered it. But the super-hot isn't just about whether it burns. It's also about flavor. That first chicken wing should give you a good idea of the tasty, that last chicken wing should have you going for ice cream, preferably of the dairy variety. I only made it half-way. The burgers (this is a burger joint), are really good as well. The counter guy asks how you want it (rare, medium, well done) and hers came out the way she liked it. She's picky with the burgers, and she thought it tasted good. At least, I was told this after the fact. Man, I should just ordered the Hot. Then I would remember. We went with the hot chips, which tasted a little on the burnt side, but passable. We liked it enough to go again.

So I had seen this place pop up on Yelp a few times, and decided to finally give it a try. The prices are high for a burger joint, but we decided to see if the food was worth the price. I don't mind paying a little more if it's worth it. My husband noted that a place charging $8 for a hamburger should have something nicer than plastic silverware dumped in a basket, but i digress- So I ordered the rodeo burger cooked MEDIUM. The burger I received was nowhere near medium. Had it just been a little pink I probably just would have eaten it. This burger was almost raw IMO. It was very rare. My husband took it up to get it corrected telling him that I had asked for Medium and this is way too rare. The employee says "Oh so she wants it medium well?" As if we don't know the difference between a rare piece of meat and medium. That may not be what he was implying, but it felt that way. My husband replied "NO, she wants it cooked medium." So whatever they fixed my burger. Obviously someone knew what medium meant in the back because my corrected burger was cooked perfectly. The burgers were good, but not $8 good. I could have just as good a burger at any other place. I really didn't see anything special about it. I don't see this place surviving selling OK burgers at such a high price. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Came here with the family was greeted right away by the staff. It was our first time eating here and we didn't know what to get. The staff here helped out to see what would be our best burger for use to eat. Out of the 11 of us we managed to eat almost every burger and hot dog on the menu and tried four different types of fries. I ordered my burger medium and I have to say all burgers even though cooked at different temps all came out at the same time burgers were perfect. I would highly recommend coming here for a perfect tasting burger

My girlfriend and I were looking to go find new and exciting places and we stumbled upon Knucklehead Burgers on Yelp. It was a little bit of a drive from Miami but we decided to give it a shot anyway and WOW was I happy we did. I ordered the Rodeo Burger (which was completely customizable... for all of you picky eaters out there), and a side of sweet potato fries. On top of that YOU CAN ORDER CRAFT BEERS!!! The burger was HUGE and meat was OUTSTANDING and the fries were out of this world. I decided this was too good to pass up for dessert, so I ordered a milkshake which you could also customize. I decided this was ultimate burger joint and believe me... "I'll be back" -Terminator

Staff was talking a big game about their burgers and GIANT O-rings... $12 later I left very disappointed. Stick with 5 Guys !

I have been on a quest for delicious burgers for a few weeks, now. I try a different burger twice a week (once with a salad, and another time with fries). I wish I would have started this back home in New York, because it's very difficult to find quality burgers in South Florida. However, Knucklehead Burgers is a great restaurant, even by Manhattan standards. The place apparently opened recently, and when I entered, I was greeted by employees behind the counter: "Welcome to Knucklehead Burgers!" They genuinely seemed happy to see me, but what blew my mind is when the owner came to me to explain what the restaurant is all about. Apparently, they bake their buns themselves every day, and use their own blend of meat and spices for their burgers. I told him I was visiting from Manhattan, and I was looking forward to see if their burgers measured up to what we have back home. He immediately proclaimed loudly that I was putting them up for "a challenge from the Big Apple." Immediate blushing... Important Note: If you check-in with your smart phone through Yelp, you can get free fries or chips. I ordered the K.I.S.S. Burger (Keep It Simple Stupid) which is a plain (but oh! so tasty) cheeseburger with the choice of cheddar, bleu, jack, etc., with lettuce, tomato, and onions. I opted out of tomatoes and asked for sharp cheddar. The restaurant has a very cool vibe. The place is modern and funky (does anyone use that word anymore? haha) It's colorful and pleasing to the eye. When my order to go was ready, the owner called me by name and came to my table with my order. He shook my hand, told me if there ever was anything I needed, to let them know. Now to the food: The bun tasted amazing! Crispy on the edges, fluffy and buttery on the inside. I ducked a star because 1) the meat could have cooked an extra minute (or could have sat a few minutes after cooking) and 2) I ordered a soda and realized while in the car that they didn't give it to me. The burger was really tasty and would be a hit in Manhattan, too! They wrapped it in foil and it was still super hot when I got home, 10 minutes later. The fries were good, too, but too salty. I would definitely go back if it weren't for my concerns for my arteries. This place is definitely worth paying a visit. Great service, EXTRA friendly staff, fresh ingredients, savory burger... and don't forget to claim your deal.

I'm really baffled by the other good reviews. Perhaps it's a bad day or it's the bun that is amazing (went bun less)? The bacon, which is hard for me to say, was terrible... so smoky it was like chewing on a cigarette butt. Yeah, gross. The burger was meh. The service was great though, 3 table touches since I say down. It's sad, I really wanted to like this place. Oh well it's back to 5 guys and burgerfi.

I was so excited to try this place out but was very disappointed. I ordered with a group of friends and somehow managed to get my meal 5-10 min after they had all received them. The fries were okay but nothing special. My biggest issue with the place was that the meat patty was oversized for the burger so all you tasted was hamburger and none of the toppings. Some people may like this but it was not my thing. The bbq burger I got was also impossible to eat. I ended up having to take it apart and eat it with a fork. Overall I will not be giving it a second shot.

This place is sooooo good! I'm actually from Miami but when a friend of mine told me about this place I made the trek up north and I was not disappointed. It's in a small strip mall so it's a little hard to miss but once inside you find a cute, fun place to eat. I went with two other people and between us we split the rodeo burger, rise and shine, black and bleu chips, bean burger (veggie burger, forgot the name), chili cheese fries, balogne sandwich and a strawberry milkshake. The burgers were top notch. The owner mentioned that they only use high quality cuts and it really shows in the burger. It's not the greasy mess u can find in other burger places but just a clean, well done burger with tons of flavor. I was actually surprised that the veggie burger was so good. I'm a total meat lover and wasn't expecting to like it but it definitely had a full body of flavor. Black and bleu chips were yum as other reviewers had already mentioned. The strawberry milkshake was awesome too. I didn't get any mix ins but I'll definitely have to try a chocolate milkshake with butterfinger next time. Can't wait to go back! I guess this makes me a certified knucklehead lol

Not bad! Been there twice, the first time was incredibly good, or maybe I was starving. Because my second trip was disappointing. It depends who's on the grill that will determine if you're gonna like the burger, the fries are very good I've yet to try the shakes but I've heard they're awesome. I would still recommend this place for a burger.

I gave it 3 stars for the staff. They were very confused about their own specials and messed my order up a bit. The burger on the other hand, I ordered the mushroom and swiss, would get 5 stars. Not greasy, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. The had the right amount of cheese and mushrooms on the burger and the bun was nice. It didn't fall apart. I'd come back to try their other burgers once they've been open for a longer time. Also I got the hot chips, nothing special, regular potato chips just warm. I'd opt for their fries next time. But definitely a solid burger!

I pulled up outside and parked right next to a giant advertisement of the Bleu Burger. The picture showed a burger with bacon, bleu cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, ect. The burger I received only had bleu cheese and bacon. My wife ordered the Rodeo Burger cooked medium. The burger she received was very rare. When I took her burger up to complain and hopefully get a new burger cooked the right way the guy behind the counter responded "Oh so she wants it medium well?". No, she asked for medium. The burger she received was literally still mooing. My son had the kiddie hotdog that looked like an overcooked nathans hotdog. Overall, $32.00 for 2 burgers and a hotdog and fries.....This place is easliy outdone by Five Guys, or Jacks Hamburgers. We won't be returning.

I have been here three times. Burgers are very good quality meat cooked the way you order it (I usually order it medium and it actually comes out that way!). Bleu Bruiser Burger - very good not heavy on blue cheese but using quality blue. El Loko Kalliente - not as spicy as they make it sound but still quality ingredients. Burgers tend to be a bit messy but tasty. I love the sweet potato fries and the basket of hot chips is also good. A little pricey but great service, friendly people and good burgers.

The burgers are not a uniformed shape and each time varies the size of the burger. My first couples of experiences were positive but it seems like as your business has been opened for a longer amount of time people are getting lazier. Your bacon is pure fat and inedible and your buns are soggy mess. I feel there is a better burger place out there than this establishment.

I am not a hamburger person, I happen to be meeting a friend a few stores down and she suggested this place. First off, to comment on the interior, it looks like the furnitures were bought at an IKEA store, modern, neat and clean, you can even see the kitchen from the counter. I ordered the bleu bruiser with french fries, the burger itself was nothing special, had a few bites and that was it for me. I did, however liked the french fries.

4.5 stars lol The burger place is super cute inside. Hours are amazing. My fiancé got the Rodeo Burger. He really enjoyed it!! I had the raise and shine burger. It was yummy as well. Next time I will ask for my bacon well done!! Parm Garlic fries was yummy and the strawberry milkshake :D We would come back!!!

Great little burger place in Davie & they cook it to order (even medium rare, which isn't always easy to find, and they cooked it perfectly). Opted for the fresh made chips instead of the fries and the chips were awesome! Service was very nice and helpful. Enjoyed it! Will come again

A Land without a Burger.... King! Since the departure of Big City Hotdogs the best burger throne in Davie has been vacant with a lot of heirs and pretenders to the crown. I went yesterday late afternoon. I saw one of the hardest working, happiest staff I have seen in a 5:00 pm rush. I took a shot with their Jalapeno Burger, complete with spicy Cheddar Jack Cheese. As a composition, it was just right. The bun is a higher quality, almost Challa bread flavor style bread. Not cheap enriched fare you get at other burger places. The meat is a blend that they are very proud of that features beef, brisket, and filet mignon. Now, filet mignon is usually very lean and would not make for a juicy burger and my burger was juicy, but not greasy. To understand what I mean, you might have to do a side by side with Five Guys, a local favorite but kind of on the greasy side, and Knuckleheads. The jalapenos and the cheese kicked everything up with just the right amount of heat. I would call that a very successful outing. Kind of like Robb Stark chasing Tywin Lannister and beating his armies over and over. I am not sure I am ready to crown them the best in Broward just yet, but absent a Red Wedding or an ill-suited wedding to a Lanninster cousin, or perhaps a Lady of Dragons sweeping in and setting the burger world on fire, I think Knucklehead Burgers should be seen as an early favorite for best in Broward. Maybe even interim champion. The fries were sliced with some of the peel still on the edges. Again, no processed disassembled and put back together nonsense here. They use sea salt for the salt. It's kind of like a Shake Shack for Davie, a quality burger joint in a town full of chain boring burger joints that, as an aside, get your order wrong. My order was done exactly right. I am going back after my next work out to try the shakes and check the consistency. I am also curious about the black and bleu chips. Until then, they are a great option. Clean somewhat smallish dining area with a lot of charm. Flatscreen televisions that are not obnoxious, and bottomless beverages. Yes, this costs more than Wendy's who has not gotten my order right since before Obama was President. Ditto Burger King. It's much better quality. All in all, a pleasant experience, and a nice addition to the Broward burger wars.

great burgers very clean place. however the design doesnt match the name, awesome name but looks like it should be selling frozen yogurt instead of awesome burgers!!!

Good burgers, but a bit pricey for counter service-ish burger joint. Disappointed with decor and atmosphere. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Managment seemed a bit lackluster. Overall, I give the place 2 stars simply for the fact that the food was decent. That was their only saving grace in my opinion. We won't be going back as we can get the same from another counter type burger joint closer to our home in Weston.

Great spot for some good burgers and a brew. The burgers are great and there's a solid beer selection. I had the bleu cheese burger. If you like bleu cheese, this burger is yours. The patty was nice and thick and cooked exactly how I ordered it. Friendly and fast service as well.

Decided to check this place out since it was close and had decent reviews for being a new place. Walked in and were greeted right away, very funky restaurant and clean. Well we ordered the below and sat to wait for the food: Loco caliente burger Blue burgers (2) Cheddar fries (free with yelp check-in) Cajun fries (my boyfriend checked in on yelp and got these for free) Chocolate shake onion rings Alright so when we ordered 1 of the blue burgers I told them to put the bacon on the side. They brought the burger with bacon inside it, I told them we ordered it with the bacon on the side (my boyfriend is allergic to bacon and I was going to eat the bacon on my half of the burger). So they take it to the back take the bacon out, put it on the side of the plate and bring us the same burger! I tell the guy AGAIN my boyfriend is allergic to bacon, he says oh ok I'll throw it away, he puts his hand on the plate grabs the bacon with his bare hands!!! EWW! Are you kidding me? I tell him for the 3rd time, allergic to bacon. He cannot eat the same burger that had bacon on it! He finally gets it and takes it back, 2 mins later they come back with a "new" burger. How can you cook a raw burger patty in 2 minutes?? In my opinion they took the same patty, took off all the cheese and onions and recooked it! The burger was overcooked and dry. The fries were nothing out of this world. The onion rings looked good but were horrible. The batter was good but the actual onion was not fried or cooked, it kind of just came off of the batter. The only things worth going there for was the chocolate shake which was amazing and the loco caliente burger which was cheesy with jalapeños and chipotle mayo. Those are the only good things about the place! To top it off the owner decided to come by towards the end of the meal to see how things were and give us some complimentary chips for the bacon problem. Ok nice. But..he says oh I heard someone can't eat bacon, we say no he's allergic to bacon, owner than proceeds to say here are our hot chips with bleu cheese and bacon. Are you kidding me?!? We have a problem with someone's burger who can't eat bacon and you bring chips with bacon?! For that reason alone I left with a bad taste in my mouth from this place. Yeah people make mistakes, but you try to better the mistake and make your customers happy and pleased, and hey if it means you lose $$ on cooking a new burger patty so be it. It's better than having horrible food reviews!

I found this by mistake and I am happy I did. The first time in I had el loco Kaliente...it was perfect. I immediately noticed the difference in taste from other high end burger places. The quality of the beef was obvious...at least to me. Found out after the fact they only use certified angus beef so I guess that's what does it. This past week I found myself back there and originally wanted another burger but changed my mind and went with the smaller (1/4pd) kosher hotdog. I don't eat hot dogs very often but I will only eat kosher dogs...it was so outstanding I am really thinking of going back later today for another. Definitely a casual spot and from what I can see very family friendly. It was bright and clean and all the employees were very attentive. I also did something I haven't done in a VERY long time...a milk shake...they call it hand dipped and I know why...they scoop out the ice cream and load it so the shake was nice and thick and so delicious. I found the pricing very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. Try it you'll like it!!

Burger was excellent! Onion rings were perfect. The only thing that was wrong with my visit was I ordered quite a few toppings for my burger and placed the order to go. When I got a couple miles away and opened my burger to eat their were none of the toppings I ordered in the burger. They forgot to put them on. I ordered the bacon blue cheese burger which it did have those toppings on it but not the additional toppings I requested. The burger was still great despite this mishap. And I was already too far away to turn back. Would have given five stars if not for the missing toppings. Still recommend though.

Been here several times and I'm never disappointed! They have an amazing burger that is full of flavor. I always get the El Loko Kaliente! I'm not much of a burger person, but when I want a burger this is my 1st choice.

I told my family we should go here for a while and like 2 weeks ago we tried it. Unfortunately it was a day after getting my braces adjusted:/ my sister and I had the el loco caliente burger and it was Devine. Spicy, cooked perfectly, amazing soft bun baked fresh. The chili cheese fries were really good too. I am never having another burger anywhere else. My mom had the fish and my other sister had the chicken. Both were ok to them but it's ok they are a burger place After all. The owner was too nice! Offered chips and drinks on the house but we felt bad taking it so we had the chips which were excellent. Knuckleheads has won this knucklehead over! Will be back for sure! So glad it's in my area!

Burger joints are the new craze. Along with self-serve yogurt bars, everyone seems to be opening a new hamburger restaurant. This is a quality place, clean and well managed, but I'm not sure it's "great" enough to make it. Virtually every patron was a first timer, and I wasn't sure how many would go out of their way to return. The burger simply didn't have enough flavor to make me want to waste the calories. It was decent - with very good bread/bun, I'll admit - but CG Burgers is even better. Fries were crisp and the onion rings tasty, but the place just didn't "sing" to me. It's tightly run, organized, and quick, but seems to lack a real "soul." I liked it, but love isn't a word I'd use. Try it.

From the moment you enter you can just tell this isn't just another Burger Joint. It feels fresh, bright and inviting. Staff looks happy to be there and throw out suggestions as you read the menu. I went with the Rodeo Burger, chicken tenders for the kids and a Spicy burger with jalapeño who's name I can't remember. The burgers were mouth watering and seasoned perfectly. One of the best burgers I've had in a LONG time. Bring the kids and save room for a Strawberry Milk Shake. It was amazing! I want one now!

We went by and saw the menu. We were running some errands and decided to stop in to grab some lunch to eat at home. I ordered a Le Bruiser Blue for myself and my husband. Gotta say, it was YUMMY! The hot chips were addicting and the French fries were fresh. I hadn't seen the Yelp deal before getting there but, they let me get it even after we had paid and ordered. They were really nice and the food was great!

Great fresh and tasty gourmet burger! One of the best burgers I have had. The least expensive one was 5.99 and they have a combo deal for an extra 3.99 you get fries and a drink. They also offer a Nova discount for students and staff. They have self serve counter Coke products for drinks. Restaurant is bright and clean. They also have really good chicken sandwiches. Will definitely visit again!

This place wasn't as bad as I thought. As you walk in, the staff and owner make you feel welcome. They offer me the mango chicken wings, which I did enjoy. The main star was of course the burger. I order the rise and shine burger, which is a burger with fried eggs, melted sharp cheddar cheese and thick slab smoked pecan bacon. It's just as good as ROK: BRGR. Just giving it a 4 star cause the huge onion rings was sort of greasy for my taste. Still coming back to try the other kool burgers!

Wow!!! Finally found a place that knows how to make a good burger. You will never go to a fast food drive thru again. Tried it for the first time tonight and found a nice clean restaurant with friendly service. Butter toasted buns and the burger was cooked perfectly. Cajun seasoned fries were awesome. Mickey D's can go blow. This place gets 1 hell yes and 2 thumbs up from me!

We went in today after reading all the great reviews. Not as impressed as the rest. Yes, the home made bread was good. Burger was ok. Def different but not worth the price. The cashier didnt really acknowledge us. Looked like he was in lala land. Fries were over cooked. It wasn't busy.

Knucklehead Burger 7/14/15 - On University Dr north of Sheraton St . Parking is ok , they have now reserved some spots in front, I have eaten here since they opened , but just getting to a review. Decor bright clean , but a little odd - like the name, but I like it, in a kid kind of way. ( they are honoring the 3 Stooges) Ok type Music playing & a couple of TVs on too watch, some craft beers available, seating is at tables, No comfortable booths, today visit a little odd - printed menu says close at 11pm, but door times has changed again from 10pm to now 9p?. While trying to eat my burger, a guy was cleaning & flipping chairs onto table at 8:40pm? - Told them I had wanted a burger to go after , I ate in the place , & cashier was pushing for to go order. (Hot Date, I guess?) Let's talk about the Burger. I Always like their CAB blend Certified Angus Blend of beef patty. It's cooked on a flat top grill which it tends to cook in its own fat, makes for a little juicier, but greasy burger... Still good though. Today burger asked for both medium , 1st one was over cooked. Had Le Bleu Bruiser Burger, it's a good combination, nice slice of bacon , Bleu cheese , caramelized onions, on a nice fresh baked fluffy egg roll bun. To go Swissshrom burger, also good & cooked . Fries are medium thickness & seem natural good & flavorful. Self serve soda fountain w/ a small selection Cost $25 plus a guilt tip request bucket & line on cc recite, it's self serve joint? Value good , Rating 9 of 10

The french fries are the best part of this place! For real! So crispy and not oily at all! The service sucks! Super sucks! It's a shame. The burgers are nice, but I'm not sure if I would drive from Fort Lauderdale again to eat them here.. Anyway; we had the spicy burger and the one that comes with onions rings; however, we were not asked how we wanted them to be cooked. Clean place and nice decor, the location is also convenient and easy to find.

I've been coming here off and on since they opened a couple of years ago. In the beginning, there were a few consistency issues, but they seemed to have tightened up, but then again, I don't live in Cooper City anymore, hence I don't go very often unless I'm in the area and whoever I am with wants to try an original burger joint. It seems as though my most recent visit was one of the better times I have been here so at least my last visit ended on a high note but remember when places have consistency issues, YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary). I pretty much stick with the Rise n' Shiner when I come through because I always like bacon and egg on my burger. Their regular burgers are ok as well, and often fry portions seem generous. Combo packages are available as well.

It pains me to downgrade this review because I remember how good they used to be. So we both lose. The burgers are no longer 5 star quality. The buns don't taste fresh, and the patties are always under cooked. The last two times I ordered my burgers medium because I noticed the trend. The staff is still nice, but seem bored. This is a shame because the place is very convenient for me and I loved the way they used to make their burgers.

Nice find, its my new favorite burger joint in the Davie area over burgerfi and burger 21. The burgers are grilled medium just right and they go between these great soft moist buns, love em. Also def order the chips...ur not just getting fresh potato chips ur getting them in giant crispy potatoe chip slices! Though I did feel they were a bit over seasoned with salt (could just have been not as uniformly put on). Service was fast and great

I was there last week and not really impressed with this place. First thing we noticed was the entire dining room floor was very slippery and it seems it was all tracked up with grease from the kitchen floor. I assume that was the reason, but none the less the floor was very oily and slippery( concerns me about the cleanliness of the place). So the person at the counter.... He was nice but spoke very fast and did not annunciate well, we had to ask him multiple times to repeat what he was asking. The food, fries were good not the best but good, hamburger was mediocre at best. I was really expecting more as there were several good reviews, I don't believe I will go back, too many other places to get a better burger.

Great burgers and the best staff ever! Plus the sweet potato chip are the best! My family was the first customer ever and we make this place a habit!

I literally love this place. However, the air is so freaking cold that I'm so uncomfortable to go inside. I used to go once a week sometimes even twice a week and bring a lot of friends. I does my boyfriend I got my friends from college and we had a blast. But now the place is just so cold I think it's like 60° in there. I'm a Florida girl and maybe this complaint is not valid for most people but I cannot take it. I have two girlfriends meeting me and I'm actually driving away now because it is so freaking uncomfortable and that burger joint. Good luck knuckleheads. Now I know why it's called that....

This was one of the three stops for a very unique UYE. yelp.com/events/davie-uy… Three burger joints in the same event... are you kidding me? I wouldn't be surprised if I were in the "burger-coma" before the event ends. But I love a good challenge...LOL! A group of Burger-Loving Yelpers decided to come together and sample some good burgers together. Thanks to Savanna M's hard work to make this event possible, we had a really good turn out. We arrived a little early so I had plenty of time to decide what I wanted to try. It was not a easy task because all the burgers in the menu sounded delicious. Finally I decide to try their Rodeo Burger. Its a burger topped with a big smoked pecan bacon, loaded with cheddar cheese, onion rings and a hickory BBQ sauce. Wow! It was yummy. What makes it better are the free potato chips with a Yelp! check-in. Other than the yummy burgers, the service was excellent! They went out of their way to accommodate our group. The restaurant was neat and clean...the decor throw me off a little, but other than that, its a pretty good burger joint.

3 burger spots less than a mile a part....I KNEW I HAD TO ORGANIZE A UYE!! Knucklehead was our first stop! The few of us who arrived early had time to peruse the menu and warn the staff that there would be a few of us eating together and sharing. The staff was great at providing us with extra plates and forks and knives so we could cut the burgers in to perfect quarters and halves for sharing. First up was our hot chips - free with Yelp check in (score!). Steven C. and I said "parmasean" in unison when we were asked which flavor we wanted. Sadly, I'm not sure I liked the chips lol. They were ok, but some had a burnt/overly oily taste to them which made them not my favorite. Based on reviews it sounds like maybe the blue cheese and bacon topping is the way to go with these. Truthfully, if I was rating what I ordered I'd be giving Knucklehead 3 stars. But since my lovely Yelpers let me get a bite off of their burgers I'm rounding up to 4 because the BLUE CHEESE burger and the RISE AND SHINE burgers were really good!! We ended up getting the burger of the month which was a chili cheeseburger and was only "ok" in my book. But the blue cheese and the fried egg burgers are definitely worth going back for. Not sure I understand the ambiance/theme of the place. Seemed very childish but yet wasn't that child friendly of a menu. The bright colors were nice though and the place felt clean.

This three star rating is my fault; it would be higher if instead I had ordered the Rodeo Burger with BBQ Sauce I sampled from one of my fellow UYE'ers at the Davie Burger Crawl Savanna put together for us. One bite and I knew I should have ordered a full one for me. I ordered the Bleu Bruiser, looking forward to the caramelized onion and pecan bacon taste. It seemed that the Blue Cheese overwhelmed it to my appetite's dismay (though it is in the name). The cajun chips - and even my regular fries with sweet BBQ sauce - were perfect for a Sunday football afternoon, as was the conversation with my table mates. Hence Knucklehead will remain bookmarked with a 3 star placeholder until I'm back in the 954!

This is my first time here. I came in because they had a coupon for hot chips and plenty of good reviews, so I thought I'd try it. Good call. This is the juiciest burger I've had in a while. Tastes homemade. Service was friendly and fast. Highly recommend!

Best burgers south of Deerfield Beach. Def one of the best burgers joints in all of South Florida. I can't get enough of their Loko Kaliente Burger. Also have some nice burgers of the month. Lots of good eats here, I just can't seem to order enough variety cuz I need my Loko !!

This place is awesome or was awesome shall I say. Been here several times in the past. Stopped by 2 weeks ago and they closed early. No notice on the door nothing. I let it go figured maybe something came up (kitchen closed, power outage, etc) Gave it another chance tonight. Drove by at 926 pm and lights are off and its closed again. Lights in the back were on but definitely closed. Im all about service, taste, and yes Mountain Dew and Knuckleheads does Coke only but they have a great product the problem is they are not a corporate restaurant so they can close early if they want to because it's slow but then they miss a party of 5. If your able to go there get the KISS burger or the Mahoney Baloney made very well. Just don't count on this place for stability on there own hours of operation.

Great burger and fries. Had the rodeo. Onion ring on burger was yummy. Fun and bright. Does the trick. Putting more text here because yelp doesn't believe in good short and sweet reviews. They expect a minimum length of text. 2 stars for yelp! Blah blah blah blah blah

Real Beef!! Oh yes! I saw the burgers sizzling and the smell! Yum, made my stomach growl with anticipation. The El Loco - 911, Jalepeno burger with Swiss cheese and all the fixings. Onion Rings and fries all of which are a huge serving, yeahhh! Hubby got this Bragadocious Burger. Monster size of a burger. He was in heaven! Upon Yelp check in came with a free order of fresh crisp chips. Thinly sliced potatoes deep fried. So good and crispy! Thank you Knuckleburger for this. They rewarm nicely in the oven. All the burgers were juicy and watch out for the Jalepenos! It's Hot! Lol I was out of milk too so I just enjoyed the fire blazing . The fries are fresh potatoes and cooked. Onion rings homemade as well. This is Not a run in 2 minute place and you're out joint! They have some wonderful looking salads as well. My next to try is their Kosher dogs! Shakes are available as well. They accept traditional payment. The staff is friendly and they take pride in their work. It shows in the cooking, acts like making sure you have bags or take out items to take home. Small things like this go along way! 5 stars in my book! Thank you for such enjoyment! We shall meet again in a bit lol. Must allow my body to get over the fire that was put in it . Please keep it up!

So I had a hankering for a burger and I've seen plenty of reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. Boy am I glad I did! First off the decor of this place is definitely not what you would typically expect from a burger joint. Like some reviewers have stated it looked a bit more kid centric than anything else but hey as long as the food is good it can look like a garbage can for all I care, just kidding ;) So onto the food, their burgers are made from a combination of filet mignon, chuck and brisket and boy is it a good combo. I decided on the Rodeo burger based on a staff recommendation. This burger has a crispy smoked pecan bacon, king cut onion rings, sharp cheddar cheese & hickory smoked BBQ sauce. Well I of course ordered mine without cheese but when it came to my table it had cheese. Luckily they had no problem in making me a new burger without the melted cheese. Finally when I got my burger and I was able to bite into it, it did not disappoint. The burger had a nice sweet and salty flavor to it and the burger had a nice juicy bite. Let's also not forget the crispy bacon that added a nice crunchy texture to it all. I also had the free Hot Chips, their own fried chips with a topping of your choice between dry sea salt, spicy Cajun or parmesan garlic. I chose the sea salt since I don't really do spicy and the cheese factor again. The chips were nice and crispy but lacked any real flavor so I guess maybe it needs the more spicy Cajun or parmesan garlic profiles to add to it. The staff was friendly and came over to ask how my burger was and didn't make my returning of the first burger with cheese on it difficult. That's definitely a plus in my book. I will definitely be returning whenever I get another hankering for a burger.

After reading some Yelp reviews I decided to try Knucklehead Burgers for my treat meal. You order at the cash then take your number and wait for your order. Pretty good burger , the burgers are made to order, so it does take a few minutes. Looking around the restaurant waiting , I did feel like the place was child-ish, like a school, the colors and games on the ceiling.. The burgers came out on a silver platter with checkered wax paper (not a plate) and was over cooked. I asked for medium rare and my man asked for his burger to be cooked medium. The free chips with the Yelp check in didn't have much flav, needed seasoning big time. The sweet potato fries were really good. I guess if they made my burger medium rare or medium I'de be more happy. It just wasn't what I expected my burger to taste like. Might be back, but I've had better burgers than here.

These were great burgers! The blue bruiser was delicious. Loved the pecan bacon on it. Tasty juicy burgers that'll make you come back. Love the hot chips too. The service is terrific too. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and attentive. Thank you fellow yelpers for recommending this place. Don't forget to check in for your free hot chips.

The el loko kaliente burger is the perfect mix of simplicity and spice. Burgers are big, and the side of fries is huge too. You definitely get what you paid for, and the flavor is probably up to par with some of the best burger spots in the area. Definitely my favorite beef burger right now. The spicy fries are simple and satisfying. You can't go wrong with this place. You know a place is good when their most basic burger and fries are done right. 5 stars because I keep going back and leave satisfied every time. Highly recommended!!

Because I've heard great things about Knucklehead, I really want to give it more stars, but my experience here was only ok. I really liked my California foot long dog with avocado, onions, and tomatoes. Messyyyyy, but gooood. I definitely liked it more than boyfriend's rodeo burger. Also messy. Maybe too messy for me. I also got the free hot chips with Yelp check-in, choosing garlic parm as my topping. Too plain. I was jealous of my roomie's black & blue hot chips: blue cheese & bacon topped. THAT was good. So we had some hits and misses. Just gotta know what to order, I suppose. I'd come back for those black & blue chips though...

I feel like every business I have been to recently in Davie has knocked it out of the park. From Mexican food to coffee...and now....BURGERS. I was starving after a long day on the road and stopped in for a quick bite. The two employees behind the counter were extremely nice and welcomed me - then told me about the special burger (of the day I think?). I decided to Keep It Simple (Stupid) and got the K.I.S.S. burger - It had a buttery bread and deliciously, fresh toppings. The burger itself was super tasty, seasoned well - and made medium well as I requested. Perfect! They had real cut fries - and they were so good. The place is clean and modern - with some funky, hip decor. I didn't catch her name but the employee that was behind the register went around asking if people needed anything. From mayo to salt to napkins - she ws just touching every table and making sure the guests were comfortable. And it's that small touch that put Knucklehead over the top for me. While you can probably get a good burger in many places (although, this one was EXTREMELY GOOD) that small details of checking up on customers and service with a smile will set you apart from the rest. I'll be back - really soon.

I had a cheeseburger & my wife had a plain burger. These burgers are huge & tasty. Smaller appetites should split a burger. I definitely recommend the cheeseburger. The cheese adds to the taste. We also had a basket of homemade chips. You can get them with toppings, but I loved them with just sea salt. If you like burgers, then you must try this place.

Of the five different burger franchises in the immediate area this is the best. Had the best burger cooked they way I wanted. Large onion rings, I don't mean the order size I mean the size of each onion ring. I would pass by all the other burger joints to go to this one. A little hard to find, it's the southern most store in the strip they're in. Every time I'm in the area and hungry I go there.

University Drive is definitely filled with burger joints up and down the street..so far all of them have had unique things I have liked about them and I haven't tried them all yet so I must say that I may have to update the review later when I tried them all to be able to rank them in order of who is really worth 5 stars around the area but for now, burger was good..if you like chips, you can get them here- I wasn't the biggest fan..I'm more of a seasoned fries kind of guy.

I do regret having to post this negative review. Food at Knucklehead is generally ****+ and value for the money is great; you will pay 50% more for smaller portions at BurgerFi just because they are "sustainable". But recent policy changes are hurting them, though some are understandable as they are much less busy than the competition along University. Closing at 9:00 (still not updated here), removing the French fries/hot chips seasoning toppings from the display menu (you still get them if you ask) and a specific policy not to offer condiments or even silverware to customers until they ask for them is desperation that will lose customers more than they will save money. But the straw that broke the camel's back came Wednesday night. Was waiting behind a women placing a long order she had printed from some online source when my cell rang. I stepped away from the counter until I was closer to the door than it, turned my back and answered. It was obvious that whoever came in next would be next in line rather than me. So I am talking on my phone away from the counter when I hear a godawful metallic noise. I look over my shoulder and the guy behind the counter is banging on it with a metal object and then yells at me to come up and order right now. Perhaps that was his little commentary on cell phone etiquette--believe me, I have my own--but is this how a businessman acts towards a person they very likely recognized from previous visits? I walked out the door and won't look back; as the song goes "So long, it's been good to know yuh..."

After craving a burger I loaded my trusty YELP app and it brought me here. Siri gave me wrong directions so that was a little frustrating. Upon arrival (about 8pm Sat night) I noticed a FREE order of hot chips with YELP check in. I opted for the garlic parm hot chips. I ordered a spicy burger with FRESH CUT FRIES GARLIC PARM STYLE FRIES. Friend ordered: rodeo burger with onion rings. I tasted everything and loved it all. Don't be afraid if the spicy burger it works well. Honestly we ate up all the fresh made chips and fresh cut fries before we even bit the burger! Meat was flavored perfectly. Bun was fresh. Fries crispy not greasy and onion rings awesome. I loved the wasabi sauce. Customer service was beyond awesome. What I would like to see? More cheese options. Maybe a Munster cheese stuffed mushroom as an option for a topping. Pontine option for the fries. Gravy and cheese curds... So easy but oh so yummy!! Malt Vinegar for the fries and cheese sauce option would be nice too :). I WILL BE BACK FOR SURE!!!

I had a burger from here and really liked it. You get to customize the whole thing and get exactly what you want. It was a little greasy but not horribly bad. I also checked in on yelp and got the free order of hot fries. I would personally recommend skipping this in the future. People here are really great and friendly but the food was slow to come out. That's probably a good thing if they are making all the orders fresh. I'll have to come back and try again without the hot chips. Even though they were free, I wasn't a fan of them even with garlic Parmesan seasoning which I could barely taste. Will update my review next time I travel to the area for work!

With the multitude of burger places popping up everywhere, naturally I was very skeptical to try out this place. The interior is common "burger chic" - industrial modern with wood and steel prevalent and a green-ish color palate a la Shake Shack/Burger-Fi. The options definitely do not focus on the healthy (although they do have salads) , but many burgers looked like a very delicious heart attack. I decided to go with Bleu Bruiser (Sweet sautéed onions, thick slab smoked pecan bacon & crumbled bleu cheese) With a trusty Yelp! check-in I also got a free side of Hot Chips! The burger came out piping hot and juicy. It was a pretty big portion, and a good deal for $8. Delicious and a very solid burger. The hot chips portion was absolutely huge - they are cooked fresh and are some great big potato chips. After eating the burger i could only manage to eat a couple. I've also had the cobb salad here and it is AWESOME! It's immense and absolutely chock full of ingredients. Other patrons mentioned that the salad looked so good that they were going to try it next time. It's kind of hard to order it though with so many good burgers on the menu.... The service here was also extremely friendly and attentive. Overall I had a great experience here and would definitely come back again.

So we were actually on the way to Tijuana Taxi Co when we saw the burger place. SO I decided to look on my handy dandy yelp and check the reviews. The reviews were pretty good so we decided to hit a u turn. The place is a little hidden in a big plaza of to the side. We walked in and it was actually empty. The decor is pretty cool. So we got to the counter and ordered and got my yelp free chips! We sat down and waited for maybe 8 minutes and the food was brought to us. The food looked amazing. My sister got the chipotle black bean burger on whole wheat bread with sweet potato chips. I got the rodeo BBQ burger with sweet potato chips and the potato chips for my check in. OMG HOW AMAZING!!! Everything was to die for sweet and juicy. One of the main highlights for me was they asked how I wanted my near cook! I have never had that. Burger Fi, The Counter, or Five Guys has absolutely nothing on these people. The owner passed by our table and asked how everything was and he mentioned they are trying to open another location near aventura. I really hope they do because it would beat the drive out here! THIS PLACE IS A MUST TO TRY!!!

The prices are great, 2 combo meals for $18!!! 2 burgers, generous portion of fries & drink. The burgers are huge and the buns are the best....nice and chewy! There toppings and fries are fresh, the sweet potato chips are sooo good! Definitely my favorite burger place, will be my go to from now on!!

Thanks to Savanna M. for organizing the UYE that sent us here! I love (LOVE) burgers, so I'm always looking to find someplace new. I would probably not have discovered this place, since Davie is not exactly in our neighborhood, but I'll definitely be going back. The ambiance was bright, sorta funky and very clean. The waitstaff was great in helping us with extra knives and plates so we could share. The prices were good in comparison to so many places that are now charging filet prices for ground beef. First, there was a check-in offer of "hot chips." Woo-HOO! I love a place with a check-in offer! I didn't know what they were, but if they were free, it was all good. I actually really liked the chips. I like mine extra crisp and on the brown side, so these were perfect for me. It was a huge basket of HUGE chips! We ordered the parmesan chips. This was the one area of disappointment. Ours had hardly any cheese on them and also needed a bit of salt. But they were still very good. On to the burgers. We tried a bunch of them, since there was a group of us. My least favorite was the "Swishroom." For some reason, the meat had a totally different taste from the others, that just didn't work for me. Then, there was the "Bleu Bruiser," a very tasty combination of beef, bleu cheese and sautéed onions. It was well balanced and flavorful. Next there was the burger of the day, which was a chili cheese burger. I really liked this one, the chili was good and there was enough on it to make a complete mess. My daughter and I had ordered the "Rise and Shine," burger as our choice. I've got to say, we chose very well. The burger was perfectly seasoned, cooked just right and the egg was at the perfect, and often elusive, stage of doneness to give us a pool of velvety yolk oozing out so we could dip as we went. So many places hard cook the egg, which just takes all of the sport (and flavor) out of it. We were happily covered in egg yolk and cheese. With the crunch and smoky goodness of the bacon, it was classic goodness through and through. I'm looking forward to our next trip. While I would love to try some of the non-burger offerings, it's going to be a tough battle. So, have a delicious meal, and tell them that YELP sent you!

Cute little burger joint in a not-so-busy plaza in Davie. The inner decor reminds me of a frozen yogurt place though. Really bright neon colors everywhere. But it does make it look more family friendly. Their burger sizes here are ridiculously huge. I mean, I can scarf down a 1/2 pound burger with all the fixings, and I struggled with this one. Lots of meat, lots of toppings if you so choose to add them, and the bun didn't fall apart nor was it too bread-y. They have a good number of specialty type burgers that range from $6-8. I ordered their "Kaliente Burger" cooked medium and it was delicious. Super juicy, great helping of jalapeños, and their spicy mayo/aioli was a great edition. Also, they have a selection of beers to choose from, but nothing on tap unfortunately. I haven't ordered any of their sides yet because they had this Yelp check-in special going on when I visited. If you check-in and show them, they'll give you a free side of their home-made potato chips. You can choose a topping and I chose to get the Cajun spice. They gave me a enormous serving, practically filled up one of those square styrofoam containers you get when you order something to go. The chips were cooked pretty well. Nice and crispy, but still had that potato-ness to them. I'll have to come back a few more times. Actually, I will come back a few more times considering they're so close to school and I always crave burgers when I study. That sounds like a beautiful disaster, but I'll take it. LOL

I've eaten at Knuckleheads Burgers quite a few times now and I love it. The servers are kind, courteous, professional, and most importantly helpful. The dining area is always clean, and sports two wide screened Arabs which are set on captions (which is nice), so the noise is never overbearing. The food is fantastic. They have some very tastey burgers! The price is pretty standard for what they offer (expect to pay around $7-10 for a meal). I recommend them wholeheartedly!

  • Elizabeth M.

Knucklehead is great! The burgers are all really amazing, I've tried the KISS (keep it simple), Rodeo (bbq sauce and onion ring), rise and shine (fried egg), and el loko (jalapeños). They are all amazing. Their sides are all fresh and really good as well. The star of this place is the service though. They are just so nice and pleasant and always willing to go the extra mile for your experience. The prices are high, but I'd rather support a small business and pay a little more for my food to be made with love. For a burger, side, and a beer you're looking at close to $15 for your meal but it is definitely worth it for the quality.

I was charged a dollar to take an onion off, outrageous! Why should I pay to take an ingredient off? I did not enjoy my experience, although the burger was good the owner was yelling at an employee which made me uncomfortable. I will not be coming back

Been trying a few burger places around town and this place is pretty good. The buns are fresh baked and you can taste the difference. The blend of beef was better than expected. Nicely seasoned but not overwhelmingly salted. Girlfriend had the rodeo burger. She suggests getting the sauce on the side. The hot chips are really good. Sea salt is all you need. Beer selection could be better, but this isn't a beer place. Overall a good experience. Service was excellent and they really care about what you think about he burger. Enjoy

Decor of the place is so good but the burger is so horrible, and the metal plates like one they give in prison, is covered with colored butter paper with small portion of burger on it...counter person don't have knowledge of what they doing and they don't serve any sides with burger, counter guy didn't told us anything abt that...once we got the burger we realized we didn't get any fries or dips with that,,so we went to order again by keeping our burgers to wait cold and the price is twice the amount of other burger shop..simply saying money wasted..

I've been here a few times and enjoy the burgers. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They even brought out the kids food first and delivered ours to the table when it was ready. I recommend the hot chips topped with garlic parmesan seasoning. If you're in David and want a burger STOP here.

This was my first time coming here, and the experience was really a pleasure. The cashier lady was extremely nice. When I checked into Yelp after I had bought my meal, there was a coupon for free hot chips. The lady made it seem like it was out of her powers to give me this since she already rang me up, but she went to her boss to ask for permission for me anyways. Guess what? I got my hot chips, and boy, were these worth it! They're big and thinly sliced potatoes covered in cajun seasoning (the type you find in the cajun fries from Five Guys). There were two other flavors that I forgot, but the cajun ones were already good enough. The food here is pretty expensive though. If you've been to Burger-fi, the prices are comparable to that place. However, I still think Burger-fi's food tastes better. I don't quite remember the burger that I got, but I remember that it was a special that they had. It tasted alright, and so did the onion rings I got along with it. If I were to come here again, I would definitely go for their hot chips. This is a must!

Great service! Been here a few times and the service and cleanliness is always perfect! The burgers themselves don't disappoint either!!! I'm a huge fan of burgers, and I'm some what of a burger snob in my opinion. These guys are in the top burgers I've had in Florida. I love to support small local businesses and will continue coming here.

Very nice clean restaurant. They have a nice variety of burgers and sandwiches. I had the rise and shiner which had an egg perfectly cooked in the burger. The staff is friendly and helpful. In with friends for late lunch. Order at the counter, take your number and they will bring it to you and keep returning to make sure that all is well. Their large burgers are hand formed and include Angus beef, Filet Mignon, brisket and Chuck. The buns are baked fresh daily. Very nice staff. We got a free order of Hot Chips with a Yelp coupon. I had the Swishroom Burger Combo which included too much stuff to list (7.59) . Add Onion Rings and a drink for $3.99. My wife had the Chopped Cobb Salad ($8.49) and a soda ($1.89). All was very good. We will be back.

5 stars for the friendliness of the staff. I got 2 burgers and a side of fries. Came out in a decent time frame. Hubby and I don't get the hype with this place though. Don't get me wrong, it was good, just not five guys good.

I've been here about 2 or 3 times and it's pretty good. The service is excellent and the burgers are great. The burgers are cooked exactly how I like it and they are delicious. I always get the bacon cheeseburger because what other ways are there to eat a burger? The fries aren't all that bad, but they're not all that great. The only hit I have with Knucklehead is that you have to pay for the fries separate. That's annoying. And also, the prices are a little high. it's not too bad of a gig, I thoroughly liked it and I will definitely be coming back.

Fair burger for the price. (I'm a burger snob though) Got a free hot chips(largely sliced potato) with check in which was nice and for the most part they were good. A bit oily and soggy at times. What I did enjoy was the small bar ledge where I could work on my laptop and eat though some shade would have been ideal on windows because sun was beaming in my face. Overall good place for lunch. Service was very friendly. Would recommend :-)

3.5 Stars. Good solid burger came as ordered. Limited menu though. Also....As i am a believer that every burger should have Bacon....their pecan-Smoked Bacon sounds great....but i didn't care for it. Bacon should be well done and crispy. I hate chewy things in my food. i expect my teeth to be able to BITE through whatever I eat. The Bacon in my rodeo burger made be buck and sway like I was in a rodeo.

I checked in when we went, but never wrote a review. It's a good burger, but I wasn't wow'ed. I guess I was looking for something a little more than your average smashburger which is what this place reminded me of. The sweet potato chips are good. It's good enough to warrant a repeat visit.

Top notch service and my first stop was great. I was overtaken on how nice the staff was. Bacon Bleu burger was great. Fresh meat patty, Great bun and creamy chunks of Bleu cheese. Parm Cheese fries were great. My kids got cheese burger and chicken tenders. Nice quality chicken and good batter, didn't taste like typical fast food. Overall a great place for fresh burgers that is quick and offers great service though it is not a full service restaraunt.

Amazing burgers. I got a plain burger with the basics and blue cheese. It was perfection. Very affordable prices and I love the combo types. We also ordered the sweet potato chips that came with an amazing marshmallow dip it was soo good. I think this place is a hidden gem best burger I've had in ages.

Great "Filthy Burger" and I mean that as a compliment, very tasty with a fried egg and cheddar cheese, bacon...heaven!! Fresh chips are awesome and the great staff tops it off. Great addition to the neighborhood

Best burger in Davie! You can pretty make your burger exactly the way you want it. Rare, med or well done. The meat was seasoned very well and was a 6 oz burger. Must have the sweet potato chips with Marshmallow dip it's amazing!! Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Stumbled on to this place on my way into Menchies, Since I was feeling a bit hungry I decided to check out thier reviews on yelp, after reading all the great reviews I checked in and received a coupon for some free hot chips. The cashier was very helpful in assisting me, and the burger was by far the best I've tasted in a very very long time. Waaaaaaaaay better than Five Guys. I ordered the simple burger with grilled onions and Cheese, and choosed the fries instead of the chips. Both were very delicious. I highly recommend and will most definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.

Great place, to have a more then decent burger, they had a chicken Parmesan burger on the menu and I ask the lady on the register of she could change the chicken for a beef patty and she did, it's really nice when you go to a place and the staff goes out of there way to help you and please you, she also took the time to come over and ask how did me and my fiancée like our food. And when I was getting a refill by the machine I also notice a box full of potatoes which confirm that there fries are completely home made. Quick dinner for 2 for less than $25, not bad considering that a visit to your local Golden Arches (McDonald's) for a mediocre meal for 2 will run you almost $20. I will definitely be grabbing my burgers more often at this place. Oh yeah, and they sell beer.

One of my all time favorite burger spots in broward! The service has been amazing every single time I have gone. My favorite is the rodeo burger.. cheese, bacon, onion ring (I get the bbq sauce on the side). The chips are delicious.. just sea salt and pepper is perfect. I saved the best for last. The vanilla milkshake with oreos is the best I have ever had!!

This place was really good. The burgers are huge but everything added up quick. It was two people and we spent $40. Fast service and attentive employees. Will come back when I'm craving a good burger!

The burger size is small for the price tag and the burger itself was not that delicious. The decor is conflicting, it's like someone tried to open up a bar in a children's daycare... Vega's Burger Bar is still by far the best place to get an amazing burger in south Florida.

First time there other day. Was really good. Very fresh. They have more than what you would expect. Getting salad next time :)

Burger is great. Delicious! I'm will for sure return. The gentleman running the food was awesome. The onion rings are huge. One order of fries can easily feed two. Overall this place is a little hidden gem.

As a first time patron, I heard about this establishment from Kiss Country radio. I decided to give it a try. Placed a To-Go order...hotdog and burger combos. While waiting for the order to be completed, I witnessed some great "looking" sandwiches. I was looking forward to receiving mine. As tempted as I was, I waited until I got home to eat my anticipated order. At home, I watched my son open his hotdog wrapper. He groaned as it was shriveled and dried out which he refused to eat. I opened my burger only to by let down as my burger's bread was BURNT and so was the burger. So disappointed as I wasted over $20.00.

5 of 7 burgers sound AMAZING in and of themselves!! Ahh which one do you pick?? Haha I ordered the swishroom burger which was Swiss cheese and and mushrooms on the burger. I like how you can add a bunch of toppings. I added a Hass avocado to my burger mmmm. The buns were spongey and thick so it didn't fall apart. But my only complaints are that my burger fell apart when I unwrapped it (I got my burger fell apart) and that the patty was pretty salty so add on your extra veggies!! Apparently there's a good happy hour here that I need to check out too! They have pretty cool beers. Will def be back to try the rest of the burgers! And if you check in on yelp you get a free order of hot chips (fresh potato chips)

Burgers here are great. Always fresh and cooked just right. The decor is super tacky as well as the logo but the burgers keep us coming back for more.

Recently, I had the pleasure of stopping by KnuckleBurger. With joints such as Burger-Fi and SmashBurger becoming prevalent, KnuckleBurger is a welcome addition to the recent burger craze and in my opinion, one of the better options. I was greeted immediately by the friendly staff behind the counter as I walked in. I opted for the Blue Bruise Burger (bleu cheese, bacon and sauteed mushrooms) with added jalepanos and was surprised to be asked how I wanted my burger cooked. The establishments I mentioned prior do not offer such a choice. My total came out to about 9 and change. Nine bucks may seem steep for a burger, but compared to competitors, the size of the burger and quality of ingredients (best bacon i've ever had on a burger) justify the price. My burger came out within a matter of minutes. Although, it was Sunday, 40 minutes after they had opened with only one other customer. The store was in great shape and the mens bathroom impeccably clean. I thanked the cooks as I left to which they thanked me for coming by. If you are looking for a burger that requires two hands to manage and is dripping with flavor, look no further. I'll definitely be stopping here again next time I am in the area.

My family loves the burgers but being a healthy eater I tried the grilled Tilapia sandwich. A big slice of seasoned fish with lettuce & tomato on a tasty roll. Quite delicious! Boys loved their burgers, especially the grilled onions. I did taste the burger & it was pretty good. No fries today but they have regular & sweet potato....all dellish!

As a newly decided vegetarian, I rarely go into burger places anymore; too much temptation. However, my boyfriend wanted to try this place out, so we went in. When I looked at the menu I saw they had a black bean burger, and was already happy. However, the thing that stood out to me the most was the service. The staff is outstandingly nice. Deland rung me up, and honestly made me feel like I was the only customer in the store, even though that was not nearly the case. He told us he had just started working there, but was funny and kind rather than snappy and stressed, as usually the case. I ordered the black bean burger, my boyfriend ordered the rodeo burger, and we both got milkshakes. With the check in special, we also got Parmesan garlic hot chips. We sat down to wait for the food, and in no time it was ready! If you're looking for a fast place, this is perfect! Although quick, the food was still well made and tasty. The chips were fantastic, super fresh. My burger was really flavorful. My boyfriend said his burger was good, not extraordinary, but that the bread was really good. He actually tasted my burger and ended liking it more! All in all it was a great experience. Maybe it's because we just came from Christmas shopping, but to have actual hospitality was a breath of fresh air. My only reservation is that, for a burger place, it's crazy expensive. For seven dollars, I really think the burgers should come with some sort of side. Four dollars extra for a combo is kind of much. But still, the burgers were a lot of food on their own, so it was fine.

Besides fantastic burgers, their pork sandwich is out of this world! It's not in the menu but you can definitely order it. Their burgers are excellent and I also love their grilled onions. Is also a great place to watch any sports because they have a lot of large-screen TVs. Don't forget about those Hey Sugar cupcakes, I had the red velvet and they were amazing!

Second time here, food is consistently good. I ordered the El Loko Caliente burger which is nice and spicy. My husband's BBQ burger with the onion ring was good too. Loved the sweet potato chips and also the parmesan garlic chips we received as a free side with our yelp check in.

Went here for the first time yesterday. Got the Loko Kaliente burger which had jalapeños and pepper jack cheese. It was delicious, and I upgraded to the combo with fries and a soda. I got the Cajun fries, but they also give you a choice of sea salt or Parmesan. The prices are a little but on the high side, but the food is worth it. The service is outstanding. They must've asked how we were doing at least 8 or 10 times. I would definitely go back again.

This is hands down the best burger I have had in a long time. It is the mixture of beef they use. It makes it tasty and moist. And the bun is great too. All the sides are delicious but it is the burger that is the star here. I would go out of my way to get it. Hope they open more stores!

This is officially my new favorite burger joint! The staff is accommodating and very welcoming. They have a full range of options to choose from. You order your food and receive it within 5-10 mins at most. Their milkshakes are so incredible! Honestly, if you love all American Classic food this is the place for you

I was driving along University Drive in Davie, Florida, when I noticed a man standing along the side of the road waving an arrow that read " Knucklehead Burgers Now Open. My first reaction was, "Just what the world needs, another burger joint". I decided to pull off the road and check it out. Boy, was I ever wrong, this was no ordinary fast food burger chain. Upon entering Knucklehead burger a woman behind the counter greeted me with a warm and friendly " Welcome to Knucklehead burgers". As I looked around, I could not help but notice the bright, ultra-modern , clean design of this new establishment, including all white contemporary furniture with colorful logo accents on the walls and ceilings. There were large flat screen T.V.s on every wall, tuned to news, sports and entertainment. As I approached the counter, I took a look at the unusually diversified menu on the wall behind the counter. Not knowing the concept, I was a little confused at first. Rossalina, the girl behind the counter, was most helpful on guiding me through my choices, making several interesting suggestions along the way. After much contemplation, I settled on the Rodeo Burger (not just your average bacon cheddar burger) and a bottomless cup of ice tea. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that all the Knucklehead burgers are all hand formed with their unique certified black angus beef signature blend of filet mignon, brisket and chuck, and grilled to perfection. Even the best burger in the world would not be much of a burger if it was not for the bun, Knucklehead's buns are baked fresh daily. This made for one of the tastiest burgers I have eaten in a long-long time. While I was savoring every bite of my pecan bacon, cheddar cheese, hickory smoked bbq sauced, and crunchy onion ringed topped burger, the very personable Owner/Operator, Alex, stopped by and introduced himself to me and asked me how I was enjoying my burger creation. One of the employees also checked in with me during my meal and asked me if he could fetch me a refill on my beverage. Unlike many of the other restaurants in this category, I really enjoyed the personalized attention that Knuckleheads had to offer. Overall, I rate Knucklehead Burgers with a 5 star rating for variety, taste, price, design, outstanding service, and cleanliness. One thing that is definitely for sure, you don't have to be a "knucklehead" to enjoy this not so ordinary burger joint.

I have eaten here over 10 times in the last year. The food is excellent. Best fries & chips around. It's a little pricey but that is for the quality. Me & my husband can go to McDonalds & 2 meals cost us $16, spend about $5-$7 more & get fresh food, cooked to order with quality ingredients. My husband loves the fish sandwich & their tea. I go for the pulled pork or chili dog. I've had their burgers & salad as well, Big in flavor & size.

Really more of a 3.5, but I'll round up for a non-chain burger joint open in my part of town! I got the Rodeo burger, which had cheddar, pecan smoked bacon, an onion ring and bbq sauce. Good flavor on the burger, it was seasoned well. WARNING: These burgers are really greasy. I'm talking, bottom bun soaked, meat-dripping, I-burnt-my-chin-taking-a-bite greasy. There is also a lot of bun - but it is baked fresh, and was like a yummy mix of potato bread and pretzel bread. My brother got the Rise & Shine burger, which had cheddar, bacon and a fried egg. The egg was cooked all the way through - I would have preferred the egg slightly runny. He really enjoyed it though. We also got fries and hot chips with bacon. I thought both of these were OK, nothing crazy special about them. You also have to order them a la carte, so I don't think it's really worth it. I'd rather just have better fries that come with the burger. Staff was very friendly and attentive, albeit a bit lost - I mentioned a facebook promo to the cashier when I was ordering, but he didn't know what I was talking about. He didn't try to ask a manager or anything. The kitchen also seemed a bit frazzled, but I think this is mainly because they just opened. Also, they are open late (til 11pm most nights, til 12am Friday and Saturday), which is pretty awesome.

I've been to Knucklehead Burgers about 3 times now and I'm finally getting around to reviewing them. Is it because they weren't memorable or worth capturing their establishment in one of my rave reviews? Definitely not! These guys are serving up some of the best burgers in the Davie area and they are certainly a place where you are guaranteed a great burger. Each time I've gone, I've tried their bleu cheese burger, medium well. If you check in on yelp, you get free chips (they're really good). The one part that I wasn't too happy with was that they butter their buns so it was a little greasy for me the first time. I asked for non-buttered buns the 2nd time around and it was much better. This is probably a once-a-month place to eat as the price can get up there. A burger & a shake will have you around $12-14 depending on the burger you get. Certainly worth it but my budget can only stretch so far! If you're in Davie & you're looking for a good burger, Knuckleheads is where it's at :-)

The best burger I've had in a long time. Steakhouse quality beef. Cooked to perfection. Seasoned well. My burger had cheese, slab cut smoked bacon and a fried egg. For dessert I had an equally amazing gourmet cupcake, from a local company called Hey Sugar Cupcakes. Yum
