Large pizza with everything on it and a flavored crust for less than $10 = immediate fan! Pizza is just as good as all the other chains but for less. The buffet is budget friendly but I've only had it when it was close to the cutoff time and all the food had been baking under the heat lamps.

A friend of mine and I were only in town one night and without a car. We found Hungry Howie's on Yelp because they would deliver to our hotel, and the previous reviews were really good. We ordered online through Yelp, and the food arrived hot and in the amount of time they stated. I got a salad and the chicken strips; my friend got the boneless wings. We both really enjoyed our food. If i'm ever in town again, I will definitely go back to Hungry Howie's. Maybe try something new.

Employees extremely nice and helpful. I ordered a "sub" which ended up being an overly greasy, salty, tasteless pizza crust stuffed with turkey and cheese. It was so overwhelmingly greasy, I didn't even make it to the second bite. The restaurant also smells like mildew and is quite dirty. Not coming here ever again.

I have seen Hungry Howie's around for years but never tried it. I think the name always threw me. Recently, I was on the road working and it was around 2pm when I realized I had nothing to eat all day and didn't think I would survive through my 3pm appointment. I was to that point where my blood sugar was so low I needed something! While I was driving, I spotted Hungry Howie's and it was close to my appointment so I stopped in. The location was big and clean. I learned that you order at a counter and wait for your food. I asked the cashier what the fastest thing was to order and obviously it was a salad but I wanted something hot and satisfying. Since I worked in an Italian joint in high school/college I knew a pizza took about 12 minutes. I'd be cutting it close but they had a large cheese pie special for $5 bucks that day that I couldn't pass up. I also wanted to compare it to Little Caesars pizza (which is a great hangover cure). The pizza arrived pretty quickly and I devoured 2 slices like nobody's business! This pizza blew Caesars out of the water! From the flavorful sauce, stringy cheese, and delicious crust. I was hungry so my judgment could have been skewed but I took the remaining slices home and even reheated it was fantastic for inexpensive chain pizza! Perhaps I will try a sub next time but without a doubt, I will have that pizza again!

I found myself needing to catch lunch at midday and, driving by Howie's, I saw that it was virtually empty so thought I'd grab a quick sub and go eat in a park. I ended up getting the Italian sub, which was really nice but there's a catch - it wasn't really a sub, more like a calzone, minus the tomato sauce. It was delicious, I was very happy but am left scratching my head asking myself why they don't try to differentiate themselves by highlighting their take on a sub? Anyhow, I'll be heading back, probably sooner rather than later...

A lesser known player in the chain pizza restaurant battles. They don't advertise much - or at least I haven't heard any ads since the Detroit Pistons games in the 1980s. This place did flavored crust and dessert pizza before the other guys if i remember correctly, and they still do a pretty good job. Solid pizza, decent prices, and they actually have a small pizza for just a couple bucks, which is good for lunch or of solo diner.

After discovering Hungry Howie's while out of town, I decided to try this location near my house. Friendly service seems rare in South Florida and I was pleased to find a friendly voice on the line when I called in my take-out order. The girl must have been new because there was some confusion over menu items and my order. This wouldn't keep me from returning again- unlike DOMINOS on University- this pizza is hot and delicious. (AVOID DOMINOS WORST SERVICE!!!)

There pizza is pretty good. If I had to describe the type of pizza, it's a cross between little Caesars and Pizza Hut but better than both. There's a college around here so they make tons of money! The service is fast and the prices are reasonable! My children don't complain!

There is a reason this pizza is cheap..that is because it's barley edible. The wings are edible that's about all I could say...my favorite part of the order was asking the girl what size is the Xtra large..she says I'll show you the box..When I looked at the box which was a 16" box...I said that's good I'll take that 16" inch size...she says sir that is an Xtra large size...I said yes the 16" she says but we only have large or Xtra large...I laughed and said OK fine I'll take the Xtra large..

The cheesy bread is my favorite and I can't say I've had better at any other pizza place! The choices for pizza crust is nice but I always get the Cajun seasoning to make me sweat a little! Monday is the best day to buy because of the specials they run.

Great deals if you pick up. $6 for a cheese or pepperoni large pizza. Definitely try the seasoned crusts. The only problem is how inconsistent this location is... some times the pizza is perfect, other times its undercooked and super greasy.
