Gran Chimu Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

  • Sean M.

One night I had an urge for something Peruvian and was searching on Yelp for a place close by and Gran Chimu popped up. Once I arrived not a soul was in there, I asked to see a take out menu which they didn't have, so they handed me the dine-in menu. After perusing the menu my eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw the prices, everything here was super expensive at least 25% to 33% more than it should be. I was like the only way you can justify these are prices is if the restaurant was overlooking the ocean or causeway and all the waitresses looked like models with cleavage to die for. I didn't expect these prices, especially not in a "ambiance boring" restaurant adjacent to Home Depot deep in the mainland. I was about to walk out, but the woman at the counter was looking at me like please buy something...anything, then at the most inopportune time my compassion slapped me accross the face. So ended up ordering the Arroz con marisco Peruvian seafood paella( aji amarillo and wine base served with salsa criolla) to go $19.00 bit.ly/Pt99QU . The minute I took the bag from the lady's hand I knew something was wrong. It was so light I felt like I was holding a bag of feathers in my hand. So when I sat in my car I opened the carry out container. Low and behold what I saw shocked me, I was like "you got to be kidding me", this is definitely not $20 worth of seasoned rice. When I arrived home and I had a clearer look at seafood rice, I could obviously see the portion was about half of what I would get at Panchamama but it cost $5.00 more. By the way, Panchamama is right off the beach boardwalk in Hollywood. The dish didn't taste bad, nor was I doing cartwheels, it was definitely edible but not at that price. The typical spicy flavor you would get in a Latin American dish was MIA. Am I going to come back, not even if someone paid for me.

This place is great. Good beautiful food. Although I'd only go for lunch because dinner is a bit expensive, however, also kinda special because, well, it's good. It is. Only thing is, my breath smelled like butt after so don't kiss your date afterwards or at least bring a toothbrush. But again, delicious. f-ing delicious.

Great food and service. Love the Churrasco a lo pobre. Delicious. Amazing Jalea Mixta, great for share. And the Sudado de Res...wow. From the owner and the server is a great palce to eat and will visit again. Love it.

Yasssss! That's all I have to say! Excellent authentic Peruvian food. I hardly ever order pasta at restaurants but the pesto pasta with steak (that's my American description of the dish) was delicious. I had to force myself to stop eating to save for the next day. Sangria is banging, order a carafe! Yucca is on point. My dining companion had the lomo saltaldo which was equally as good. I have a feeling that I will have a craving for this place soon!

Great food!!! Seafood rice was amazing. Have never had this version of ceviche before but it tasted really good. Definitely coming back.

Food was very well seasoned. Loved the calamari and fried yucca and the arroz con?????....yellow rice with seafood. It was really good and fulfilling.

A jewel of Peruvian cuisine in Davie, FL. The food and the service were excellent... couldn't be better when the owner is the chef... they go hand-to-hand. We ordered several dishes with the intention of trying the seasoning of the food; our taste buds were happily dancing with the variety of flavors. The ceviche was superb, the "lomo saltado" was outstanding, and a great surprise was the seabass, which was wonderful. I drove all the way from south Miami, and I am planning to do it as often as I can; the drive was worth it.

  • Carolina M.

Really good food. Fresh and tasty. The papa a la huancaina, ceviche and lomo saltado were nice and fresh. Service was good , location is in a strip mall so it doesn't really look like nothing. But it is good!!. The prices , however are high.Extremely overpriced for the type of food.

    (4)
  • Sharlene M.

Authentic Peruvian food at its best. The service is amazing and VERY hospitable !!! My taste buds pulled a Britney Spears and were like "gimme gimme gimme more" coming back FOR SURE!!!

  • Alison D.

Was ordered shut on July 14th for food safety violations (live roach seen running in kitchen). It was featured on WPLG dirty dining. GROSS!!!!!

    (1)
  • Nathan A.

The food was authentic and very tasty, BUT are crazy overpriced!!! Honestly, they charge way too much for even simple Peruvian dishes and it's not even a generous serving size .

My first time having Peruvian food and what a great place to go to. Nice appearance and great service. The guy helped us order and we both happy with what we got. They have affordable lunch specials and a good amount of food.

Chose this place from the other Peruvian restaurants since it had the most reviews. Located next to a church in a business Plaza... No idea what a church is doing here. Nice, dim light ambience. Candles and saxophone music - the kind the you usually hear at weddings - make it a nice date spot. Provides complimentary roasted corn to build up your appetite. Their hot sauce reminds me of La vics orange sauce but green. Makes sense since it tastes like guacamole. If you can handle spicy, I highly recommend this hot sauce. Water comes with a slice of lime. The Cristal Peruvian beer reminds me of San Miguel Light, it has a crisp light taste. Came here for the ceviche and the fish version is pretty good. Nothing that made my eyes open wide, but it has a nice presentation. Maybe I just don't know how to appreciate great ceviche.... Fried plantains is what you'd expect. It's crispy on the outside from the burnt sugar and super soft inside. Really good to get your sweet tooth fix!

  • Mari Dani B.

Damn that green sauce is amazing! A little spicy, a little creamy and goes well with everything! We stopped by for a ceviche fix and for some reason this sauce stole the show! LOL! Food was yummy, service was great and it makes me wish I lived in the area to try the rest of their dishes.

  • Lisa H.

We ordered 3 ceviches to go and they were delicious! We got the spicy and medium and they were really good. It was a decent portion and tasted amazing and fresh! I'd go back to try out a full blown dinner next time based on this one dish!

Little Peruvian restaurant in a strip mall. I had the fish ceviche. It was good, but the fish wasn't fresh and the portion size was small. They don't have coffee so no coffee with dessert after the meal.

  • Rosario P.

Stopped by Friday evening to pick up some food for my husband and I. I ordered the Papa a la Huancaina and 2 ceviches de pescado to go. I stop by 10 minutes later, and my food was ready and waiting for me. The restaurant was empty, with the exception of an older american couple who were asking their waiter how spicy the ceviche was, The gentleman behind the bar who handed me my food and charged me was very nice and the restaurant looked very clean. The food was AMAZING. Both the ceviche and the papa a la huancaina were very well done. I was very impressed and I will be returning for sure. The only negative thing was that the total was $45 dollars, for two ceviches and one papa. I thought the price was a bit high, since the portions were not big but the dishes where so well prepared that I'm sure I'll be back for more.

Delicious and authentic Peruvian food, prepared using high quality ingredients. My husband and I have been coming here for the past 7 years and have never left disappointed. We've had large parties of family and friends and everyone always leaves very happy. Food is outstanding and the service is courteous and attentive. The owner is very nice and generous and his passion for his restaurant is evident in the food he serves and the way he kindly treats all the patrons.

  • Jennifer Y.

The food is excellent. My family visited twice during our short stay. The lunch special is a great deal. We ordered the ceviche and seafood lunch specials. The ceviche was very fresh and great for sharing! Plenty of various seafood from calamari to fresh fish. Corn and sliced sweet potatoes added a great touch. I ordered the seafood in yellow curry. The curry was quite rich so after a few bites, I was done. But the seafood was great! DEFINITELY order the fried fish. The fish was lightly fried and very tender. The tomatoes, onion, and other mixed vegetables that was cooked with the fish made it very flavorful! Also, their grouper was very good. We ordered the two fish entrees again for take out. Bottom line: If you like Peruvian food and seafood, this is the best restaurant!

  • Y J.

Quality and especially service has gone down over the years sadly enough. The chef I knew is no longer there and there was only one person working the kitchen while the restaurant had a few customers. Staff were more interested in chatting and hanging out with their friends and family rather than running a business and attending to patrons. I'll have to look for a new Peruvian place.

We went on Mothers Day for lunch. Arrived at place about 1pm & there was only 1 table w 4 peple in restaurant.. I must say even though I felt the service was bad. The food was excellent. We were a party of 5 & we all ordered different dishes. Everyone was please with their plate. Like I mentioned before, was not happy with service. I ordered a Jalea & actually got my food when everyone else at my table had Finished eating their food..l they also forgot to order our appetizers (papa a la huancaina) at the end they made is & were kind enough not to charge us for it. I might go again, give them another try & hope service is better..

Cute little restaurant. Pretty slow service, but that's my only complaint here. Portions sizes are awesome. Definitely can feed two people at least per dish! Definitely makes it worth the price. They have a good selection of seafood dishes here. Anything from fried to steamed and in between. I love the green sauce they give. Super spicy and refreshing at the same time. So far I've had: Tacu Tacu con Lomo Saltado- Tender steak, super savory. A little on the saltier side but just drink tons of water and you're good. I shared this with a friend the first time I visited and was hooked. Arroz con Marisco- So good! I'm in love with paella and this hit the spot. Lots of shrimp, fish, scallops, calamari, and mussels. A must try if you visit. Pescado a lo Macho- Fried fish with a delicious sauce drizzled over it. The fish was nice and flaky, not overlooked and I really appreciated that. This dish was huge. I had enough for my dinner (and I was stuffed) plus lunch the next day (that I barely finished because there was so much food left over). Sangria- A tad on the sweeter side for my taste. It could've used more wine but it goes well with their food. Next time, because I will be back, I will definitely sample their ceviche. I can't believe I haven't tried it yet but will update as soon as I do!

  • Mayi-Ericka S.

The worst service for take out , they make you wait more than 45 minute the size as small and missing key ingredients like onions ,cancha for the jalea .not worth the wait or price

    (1)
  • Lauren U.

Fantastic!!! Strongly recommend this fabulous little gem. The food was delicious the ambiance was pleasant the Sangria was one of the best I've ever had and the service was friendly.

Me and my friend drive 45 minutes to see if its true what people say about this place. Wow this place is a gem. best Peruvian food we ever try. Everything is so fresh and taste so good its unbelievable. God bless this restaurant.

Lomo Saltado 5 stars Price 3 stars So yelp has done it again! Even though yelp has just about started in fort lauderdale, it hasn't let me down. We need to hype up yelp in the sunshine state! GRAN CHIMU now this place was BOMB. we came here for a friend's bday. It was a table of about 25 people and the service was a bit slow. I don't think they were used to such big groups. The food however was AMAZING. My friend and I shared the lomo saltado, portion of which was perfect! We came on a weekend and the price, however, was no bueno. It was $22. EEEEEK. I need to get used to the food pricing in Fort Lauderdale. Despite the price, the food reminded me of a fantastic Peruvian place that was much cheaper. The food is fantastic. Bday girl who's peruvian approved it. She said it was the real deal. Tips: come for the lunch specials which range $10-12 instead of $22-30 for dinner and weekend prices.

  • Patty G.

Dinner at Gran Chimu was fantastic. I can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes! My husband ordered the fish and shrimp ceviche and I ordered the Tallarines Verdes con Churrasco. Both dishes were delicious but we ended up switching plates. He's more of a meat lover and I love ceviche. So it worked out. I'm looking forward to trying their Lomo Salteado. Service was fantastic, very attentive and friendly. Oh and the decor is lovely. Very simple yet beautiful. And very clean (very important to me).

The place was good but the prices were way too expensive. Other wise the location would have gotten 5 stars.

Excellent food! Excellent service!! The shrimp ceviche is always on point and fresh! Pollo salteado tastes homemade! Delish!!! For dessert they sometimes have alfajores.... So yummy!!! Overall great food for you dollar.

So it all started when I was craving conchitas a la parmesana/broiled scallops with parmesan cheese. I looked up Peruvian restaurants and came across Gran Chimu who had the scallops/conchitas listed on their Yelp menu. I was stoked & we headed there for dinner. I didn't even open the menu when we got there 'cause I knew exactly what I was having....until, the waiter said they don't make it. After screaming "Noonoonoooooo!" a la Shia Labeouf style in all of his movies, I came back to my senses and opened the menu, shakingly, to look for something else. I may have exaggerated this just a bit. Anyways, they have a new menu, so I suggest you go straight to their website to get their current menu (for discounts as well!). I decided to order the Fried Calamari and Yuca, topped with red onions that were perfectly marinated with a hint of lime and cilantro. (Ask for their tartar sauce!) My husband had the Lomo Saltado/Black Angus beef tenderloin stripes with sauteed onions, tomatoes, french fries, and rice. He really enjoyed it and I also thought it tasted yummy. All in all, we had a good meal with good service. I may have not gotten my Conchitas, but that only means the search will continue!

Good food. Very attentive service from Luis. Quiet little spot. Worth trying. If you live in Monterra, you may just get a little discount on your bill.

Ok so here's what happens. I live in North Miami where you can find Peruvian food literally everywhere. From high end kind of peruvian to small plaza style. So while the food is pretty decent compared to what we have, you get WAY less bang for your buck! The chaufa from the Peruvian place I like to go to is like 5 dollars less and 3 times the food! (Chicharrones de pescado were a pretty good size though) was The positive side is that it's a really nice, clean and cozy kind of place that you'd like to go with friends for a weekend dinner get together. But mostly for the nice atmosphere, not because the food (although good) is really worth the price. I will say that service was pretty nice! The waiter we had was really friendly and attentive. So my conclusion is that if you don't really have much peruvian options where you live and have some extra cash in your pocket, try it out.

Great food and service. Best Peruvian food in South Florida! My favorite dishes are the ceviche, lomo saltado and the jalea.... Oh and their deserts to die for!!! Must try it out.

    (5)
  • Foodlover B.

It was all just okay. The ceviche had cinnamon (I think?) which was initially odd but we became somewhat used to it. Not our favorite ceviche. We also had the arroz con marisco which is seafood and rice. It was tasty. Lots of calamari, which is least favorite seafood for us. They have a pretty awesome four milk cake dessert. The service was a very nice woman who was too busy with all the tables she had to serve.

High class Peruvian Restaurant, best good around the area, the Ceviche taste just like Best Ceviche Ever in Boyton Beach, lol and the Anticuchos are the best!!!

  • Shellie D.

Came here on a Saturday night around 9:30 and the place was completely empty. I was scared to eat here but Yelpers gave this place great reviews. So... we orderd ceviche and it was the best ceviche I have ever had. We ordered rice with seafood and it was pretty good too. The sangria was perfect... not to sweet but just right. I can't wait to come back in town to eat here again. This place was amazing.

This place is flat out terrific. Every dish we ordered was delicious, interesting, and perfectly prepared. They serve Peruvian corn with many of the dishes. It is prepared differently for each dish, and also served toasted on its own. The Ceviche we had was wonderful and very different from that served in most coastal restaurants. It comes in a velvety sauce and the seafood was plentiful, fresh and great tasting. The paella was the best we've had anywhere. It had both squid and octopus as well as other seafood. Anyone who eats out knows how tough it can be to get them to be really tender, yet here they melted in your mouth. It's particularly difficult with paella because it tends to overcook in the rice after it is off the heat. No problem here. Apps, the chicha morada (a sweet drink made from purple potatoes), and sides were equally good. Combine that with fair prices and great service and you have a real winner. This place is worth going out of your way for. Note: You can find good discount coupons (as of 4/19) on their website granchimu-restaurant.com

This place has authenticity, decor, great customer service and great food... Location is not bad either. It's a tiny bit pricier than other peruvian restaurants, but you're paying for the ambience and attentive service. I've been here twice and both times, I have been well received, the food has been spot on in terms of authentic flavor and the restaurant seems very well kept. 4 stars for great food, Neat, clean, fresh vibrant atmosphere. Not five stars, because the layout feels a little cramped and just a tad overpriced. Nothing to shy away from though, I definitely recommend.

  • Mark L.

Having been here at least a dozen times, I can tell you it's the real deal and awesome. The cevichis are really good. I LOVE real family restaurants. Don't go there if you are in a hurry, try to remember that you are their guest... sit back, have some wine or sangria and chill, you'll be happy you did.

    (5)
  • Chris M.

EXCELLENT ceviche and calamari! The ceviche is perfectly spiced with aji and the right amount of lime and onions, probably the best I've had in South Florida. The calamari is served fried and with marinated onions that have a hit of lime and cilantro. I also tried the causa and tiradito, which were both winners. My dining partners didn't love the causa with pulpo al olivo, but that's one of my favorite Peruvian dishes, so I laid claim to that causa. I'm sure the rest is good, too, but I filled up on the causa and ceviche. I am looking forward to another trip here.

My friend and I both had ceviche, and it was delicious. She has been many times before and said the steak tips are also delicious and the good is consistently good. Service was good, too. I'll be going back again and bringing friends.

Had ceviche and steak with green pasta. Both had good flavors compared to other peruvian places. Prices are a lot higher than other restaurants though.

I love this place. I go at least once a week. Quality food and dinning experience every time. I wish they would have specials on the menu every now and then. Either than that no complaints. A must go to if your in the area.

My Hubby and I came here for my birthday we came because ofthe reviews onyelp. We got there on Saturday night at 7:45pm and were a little reluctant because there was only one table in the restaurant we decided to stay anyways, and we're so glad we did... The food was delicious, the service was great, we were attended very quickly and we were just so pleased we will definitely be coming back.. Def recommend this place you will not be disappointed A+++

Despite the fact that there were people in the restaurant and the hours posted on the door said they'd be open for another hour, I was turned they were closed as soon as I walked in. Probably won't be going back.

A little hole in the wall located in a strip mall. What other places I review? :) Lovely small dining room, serving the local community with great traditional peruvian dishes. Fresh ingredients and great flavors! We had the ceviche and the tacu-tacu with lomo saltado on top. The tacu-tacu was incredible, nice and chunky sweet topped with salty juicy beef. Ow. So good. The ceviche was great but it needed a little bit of balancing....it was too citrucy...I know it's lemon juice but it needed toning down, couldn't really taste the fish with all that lemon. Also try the picarones. Holy guacamoley they are great...not too sweet either. Will definitely come back! :)

I found this place on restaurant.com and tried it out. The only bad thing is the price. i find it to be pretty expensive, but with the restaurant.com coupon it isn't that bad. The place is good and classy. The lomo a lo pobre is what i got. It is a very tender nicely seasoned steak with plantains, fries, and an egg. The nice runny egg over the rice is the kicker. The plantains are probably the best plantains i've ever had. the fries were fried to perfection. I don't know why but I can just see and feel that they spend a lot of time on the quality of their food. It seems to come out with care and a certain finesse. I really do enjoy the place. love, Bao Eat on my Friends!

  • Shir G.

As much as I wanted to like this place I was disappointed. Simply put, I had much better Peruvian food. It was too salty and lacked flavor. The parihuela was loaded with chewy squid and was simply not tasty. Not repeating this one.

The place is not cheese cake factory but what it lacks in looks definitively makes up with its food. I would be give 5 stars on overall but based in it's atmosphere I give a solid 3.

I ate at Granchimu 24 hours ago and since that time, I have recommended it to approximately 15 people. We had the shrimp and fish ceviche and it was easily one of the most delicious dishes I have ever eaten. I ate the cilantro rice with seafood and deemed it the best rice I've ever eaten. Those with me ate the fried seafood and yuca plate, which was full of not only your traditional battered fried fish, but also squid, scallops and mussels, and the Tacu Tacu con lomo saltado, which was really delicious as well. We finished with picarones and cafe con leche, which were both delicious. This place is the epitome of good, clean food. The servers were so kind and one even took time to tell us of the Nasca lines drawn in Peru which are depicted in their decor in a series of paintings hanging on the wall of the restaurant. Do yourself a favor, go to this place, order some ceviche and get ready to feel a sense of remorse for all the times you've driven by and not known what a gem was hiding in behind Shorty's.

I have had a lot of good Peruvian food and this place ranks as probably as one of my favorites. My server was very kind, the food was amazing, serving size was great, and prices were very good. I highly recommend this to anyone who is craving for some great food!

Good food, nice service. The civiche was very good. Only disappointment was looking for Colombian food on yelp but this place was clearly Paruvian.

  • Yi L.

My bf and I found this on yelp! I love yelp! I've lived in the area for ages and never knew that this place existed! The restaurant was rather slow for a Monday night. The waiter was attentive and asked up how we were a few times..we ordered the seafood ceviche.. It was delicious. Really Limey in flavor and had just the right amount of spicy. We ordered it medium. For dinner, my bf ordered the goat stew (ewwww I am not a fan of gamey meat) but he assures me it was delicious! I ordered the loom saltado con tacu tacu.. I was delicious as well. We are definitely coming back the next time he is in town!

Went here for dinner New Year's Eve. Place was empty but reviews were good so we have it a shot. I'm a regular customer of las Tortoritas but they were closed so I came here. The services was great. Our waiter came over several times to check on us and refill water. We didn't wait too long for our appetizer (yuca ha las huancaina $9) or our meals. I had the ceviche mixto medio picante which was absolutely delicious ($17). My hubby had pescado ha lo macho with tacu tacu ($23) and mother in law had lomo saltado with tacu tacu ($20). This place was pretty pricey compared to what Im used to- the bill was over $70. IMO the yuca appetizer was WAY overpriced for 5 little sticks. I mean they serve you more at pollo tropical for half the price. It's not fair!!!! I mean this IS a strip mall restaurant but enough griping. The quality of food and service were great but I took off one star for overpriced food.

Best Peruvian food around. I come here often and are always satisfied with the food. Highly recommend trying the Lomo Saltado and Arroz Chaufa. The Ceviche is one of the juiciest I've ever tried! Delicious food!! Definitely a must try. Amazzzzing chef!

After reading mixed reviews me and my wife ventured out there. Truly the cevichie was out of this world. I would just go back for that. The tamale was not as good as other south American ones I have tasted I would like to go back and try more for sure

Amazing authentic Peruvian food. They are also trying to go more gourmet and they have daily specials that include appetizer and dessert. Best Peruvian doughnuts ever (picarones). ceviche is amazing!

My husband would have given this place 5 stars. He LOVED everything and is still raving about it. For me, everything tasted great but by the end of the meal I felt sick because it was just WAY TOO salty! My blood pressure sky rocketed later that evening and I don't have blood pressure problems. Granted we only went there once, maybe I ordered the saltiest thing on the menu accidentally. Clean facilities, prices were a little steep, knowledgable service and over all good experience.

  • Juan K.

This place was ok..We ordered "papa a la huancaina" and it was OK - the sauce was not spicy enough and it lacked flavor. Then our main entree was lomo saltado, again it was ok. The chicha morada here was really good. We did not order any desserts because they did not have much to choose from.

    (3)
  • Bon B.

Very average. Service was poor- only one waiter working with a decently full restaurant. The food was definitely not worth the money & the wait. We will not be returning.

First visit was this evening. Restaurant is just a small hole in the wall place in a strip shopping center, but the food? WOW! Nothing less than spectacular. The ceviche dishes we had could not have been better. Both the ceviche mixto and the ceviche in 3-sauce mixture dishes were excellent with spectacular presentation on the plate. We also experienced the mariscos con arroz amarillo (seafood and yellow rice), and this dish likewise was superb. Entree prices moderate in the $15. to $19. range - - - quite reasonable for seafood fare. The owner/chef really has it going on and I give this place my highest recommendation. Can't wait to return!

Absolutely amazing! We've been to just about every Peruvian restaurant from Homestead to Boca and this is by far the most authentic and delicious one. The ambience was relaxed, the staff was kind and friendly and they have all of the Peruvian favorites my family and I love: the best anticuchos, authentic ceviche (my dad is a seafood chef in Peru so I know what I'm talking about), great seafood dishes like pescado a lo macho, and a super creamy tallarin verde (pesto). I have found my new go to place when I'm craving Peruvian food!

I ordered the mixed ceviche was awesome everything was tender just the right amount of lime the only thing was my shrimp had a weird taste but over all the ceviche was very good. Will go again.

Now on my second time here i can say that this place is beyond excellent, their food is fresh and yummylicious, their portions are excellent, ceviche is the best in south florida and food is nothing without service, the server Andre (i think is his name) is excellent, he was very kind. Overall excellent place.

Beef seco was good. Service was nice. It is somewhat hidden. Prices are right and my friend's chicken with onions and fries was good, too. It's been so long. Someone should invite me out or TREAT ME to this restaurant so I can update my review! =P

Not sure what the fuss is about. Kinda overpriced for what you get. Ceviche was good, but not for the money. Lomo saltado was also a disappointment. My girlfriend wasn't impressed with her food either. We went on a pretty slow night as we were basically the only ones there, so maybe thats the reason the food wasn't that great, but I doubt I'll be back. I even had a restaurant.com gift certificate, and I still thought it was expensive. I make way better lomo saltado and ceviche at home for a fraction of the cost of this place.

Gran Chimu is one of the top three dining experiences of my life. This is a five star restaurant with two star prices. The presentation and service were immaculate and the food...well... the food was fantastic! I understand that Gran Chimu is known for ceviche or cebiche, (double spelling to please the search engines) but their steak is not to be missed. Please go to this restaurant. You won't be sorry. If you're an investor, there's a hidden opportunity here: wonderful food, fantastic presentation, all they need is a different venue.

this place is pretty good i like it, the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food, it is a small restaurant with a high quality , maybe one of the best restaurants in south Florida, the ceviche, jalea and chaufas are excellent

Excellent authentic fare at a reasonable price. The ceviche is so tender it melts in your mouth, and the seco de res is delightful. Service and ambiance are also good. Highly recommended!

If you like cebiche this is the place for you. It is reasonably priced and delicious. Probably the best cebiche I have ever had. I didn't give it a five star rating only because the service wasn't that great. Anyone that gets the waiter to smile deserves a medal.

Absolutely freaking delicious food. I eat Spanish food occasionally and Peruvian rarely. I tend to eat spicy cuisine like Thai or Indian. This place was a mouth watering dream. The food was presented simply, nothing too fancy and the atmosphere was pleasant. I was there during off hours for lunch so my food came out quickly and great. The appetizer was great - dish involving potato and boiled egg - and the entre was fabulous. Chicken, potato and a delicious light sauce. The desert was delicious but simple. The meal itself was a combo for appetizer, entre and desert and that price was perfect for the meal. I wish I could go back soon but I live in the Washington DC area so I can only dream for now.

If you are reading this in contemplation of dining here, then yes, yes, you must visit. I'd never had Peruvian cuisine before and shared this with our server. He brought out three different plates, only one of which I knew the name of (cebiche) and I had absolutely the most amazing lunch of my life. I was there six months ago but have thought about this meal weekly since. I'm still trying to come up with a business-case I can make to my boss to send me to south Florida again just to repeat this dining experience. Definitely in my top three meals of all time.

Gotta try this place. All I can say, is that when I tried the first bite -- my tongue threw a party for my mouth. Incredible food and great service. Yum Yum Yum
